There could be hazards from what’s left behind when you pass on.

In a bizarre bit of research, scientists have written about the real hazards that may await you – or your loved ones – after you pass on. Yes, just when you think you’ve gone to your heavenly reward, something from your past could haunt you – or blow you and others to kingdom come, literally.

The researchers found that there may be hidden hazards when you die, particularly if your choice for the disposal of your remains is cremation.

Researchers in England actually published a study in 2002 detailing the first crematorium pacemaker explosion in 1976. That’s right, someone who had previously had a pacemaker inserted passed on and had chosen to be cremated. Unknown to anyone at the funeral parlor, the explosion took everyone by surprise, to say the least.

Never Know What You’ll Find

Since then researchers have found the number and variety of metal and plastic objects implanted in patients have increased steadily. Objects like joint prostheses, nails and splints for fractured bones, heart valves, and cardiac pacemakers have all shown up – or blown up – when someone leaves his or her mortal coil.

At one time long ago pacemakers were occasionally removed after someone passed away, often for later use because it was cost effective. Today, although reuse is not common, in many countries, say the researchers, when a patient with a prosthesis dies no attempt is made to recover it.

In the 1976 episode, the mercury zinc batteries in a pacemaker left in a body exploded during cremation. The blast was powerful enough to damage the brickwork lining of the cremation chamber. The strength of the explosion had possibly been increased by the presence of hydrogen produced in the nearly exhausted batteries. In the course of their duties those working at the crematorium periodically observe the process of cremation, and an explosion on this scale could cause injuries or even death, warned the researchers. In addition an explosion could release toxic gases or even infectious material from the corpse.

The Cremation Test

Lithium batteries may have replaced zinc mercury batteries in pacemakers, and when heated to a high temperature these are even more explosive. Moreover, since 1970 pacemakers powered by plutonium-238 have been tested clinically. These contain up to 3 Ci of the isotope so patients have been closely supervised and these pacemakers are removed after death.

It takes about one hour at 800° C to cremate a body, and the latest models of plutonium pacemaker now must pass a very stringent “cremation test” of withstanding 1300 C for 11 hours. This should ensure that they could not leak during cremation.

If all this disturbs you, perhaps you may want to invite the local fire department to the funeral.

Blast wave broke windows over a hundred buildings near the plant. The second blast occurred six hours later, but was not hurt anyone.

Company representatives say that the explosions took place while all operations were suspended due to problems in another factory in the campus.

Firefighters still struggled to extinguish a fire.

Exploiting good for evil.

Osama bin Laden and his unpopular al Qaeda hazard started a global trend with 9/11, 11 years ago, that most would consider tragic and grievous, but a belligerent few would regard as fashionable… in a malevolent way.

It came as no surprise to some that an Italian man and a Briton, forcefully taken against their will sometime in 2011, would have been unceremonously executed earlier this year, in order to thwart a collaborative British and Nigerian effort to rescue them. It was a disaster for many, especially for the families of the abducted men; and it was an embarrassment for the UK government, who had hoped to mirror the success last year of the United States government’s infiltration of sovereign Pakistani soil in order to apprehend of execute the self-acclaimed master-mind behind the deaths of thousands of citizens of the world some ten-eleven ago.

Boko Haram, a sister- and offshoot menace of the still-growing al Qaeda network all over the world, has only garnered confidence and strenght since its inception only five years prior, but after it’s successful bombing of the United Nations’ Building in Abuja last year, its profile on the global front has grown significantly. Albeit localized largely to grounds covered by Nigeria’s Northern Geo-Political region, many in the country and across the world have come to fear the mere mention of the group’s name.

Yes, it came as no surprise to me when only two days ago, a man walked into the large lobby of the Transcorp Hilton, arguably the most prestigious high-profile hotel in the capital territory of the influential West African nation where I had taken my abode since I entered the country only two days prior. He was very well dressed in an exquisitely tailored dark blue suit that sat well on his shoulders – I could see him bound into the massive indoor space from without the instant he made his entrance from where I was sitted in the restaurant – but there was that haunting look in his eyes that suggested to me that all was not well with the man.

At first glance, he could have been just about anybody; but a closer appraisal showed something else – something I could not quite put my finger on just yet. I kept my eye on him, and it was to my chagrin moments later when I observed him bee-line his way into the very restaurant of the hotel where I was having my dinner.

It was high-noon and the hotel was crowded, as it normally would be in the middle of any working day. I had heard the rumors too, and I was edgy from the start. I tried not to look at him – not too obviously – as he placed an order for a large meal and sat down to eat at a table in the very middle of the room. I did not like it when I saw him look back at me, then around the room… then back at me. There was something wrong, and I could bet my finger even then that it was bound to be a very bad thing.

He ate very rapidly, wolfing down the food in large unbelievable chunks as though he was in a hurry to get to something else. When he was done, he took his phone out of his pocket and placed it on the table as the waiter approached him with the bill. Ignoring the neatly dressed orderly, the man grabbed the wine bottle on the table and quickly emptied two glasses down his throat; then he picked up the phone and dialled.

I swallowed as I watched all of this… I was no longer hungry. I could feel the beats in my heart get louder – pound harder… It was hard to breathe. Then my heart stopped altogether when I heard his not-too-quiet words stage whispered into the mouthpiece of his impressive looking iphone:

“Yes Mallam, asallaam alaikum… Yes, the bomb is on me even as we speak. I am ready now; you can detonate, it… Thirty seconds will be fine.” He leaned back then and refilled his glass, looking directly into my eyes, matching my gaze.

The whole room seemed to freeze and nobody moved save my quarry. But I was incredulous; this was preposterous! What an act; nobody would believe that…

Except, seconds later, the man stood up suddenly, sliding back his chair with a loud screech and raising his arms above his head and screamed: “ALLAHU AKBAR!” Hell broke loose – all of it. I did not see or hear anything else because I was probably the first man to the door, but I caught the distinct sense of everyon scampering out of range of what kind of bomb, no one knew just yet. My hand was reaching for the door to push it open when I was brushed unceremonously to the side and someone else pushed it open. I crashed into the floor, painfully conscious that someone – everyone – would soon be all over me, trampling me underfoot in the mad rush to not be the first casualty in the impending explosion. Every effort to make it back to my feet was met with futility as men and women hassled past me, pushing me into the wall; pushing me into the floor; stamping all over my hands, feet and back. I was helpless – I was as good as dead.

So I bowed my head into the floor and lay prostrate, my head covered by my hands, my face buried in the marble surface, waiting for the explosion – the explosion that would not come.

It was several seconds later – a couple of minutes, perhaps – before I dared to raise my face from the agate deck, looking gingerly around, confused, reacquainting myself with my environs. There was nothing – nobody, save the pain in my back and all over my hands and feet… until presently I became aware that I was staring at the wall.

I heard footsteps. At first I feared; then I thought: footsteps aren’t an explosion. I turned around and ventured a gaze in the general direction of the intruding noise. It was my quarry. He was alone. Bottle in hand, he was pushing open the swinging doors of the restaurant and walking confidently out. There was no explosion – perhaps there had never even been a bomb: it was just a hungry gentleman who had exploited good for evil… so he could eat a free meal in perhaps the most expensive and exclusive outlet the city had to offer.

It was ingenious. It was evil…

The Nuclear World.

The Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, an international agreement that would bind all nations to never again carry out a nuclear test, has passed from the lexicon of India’s foreign policy debate – even though it was once one of the dirty words of New Delhi’s nattering class.

I was asked to attend the CTBT Organisation’s conference on the fifteenth anniversary of the treaty two weeks ago in Vienna. Possibly because no Indian official was willing to attend. India has put so much space between itself and the CTBT that it declines to even send observers to CTBT functions. Other non-signatory nations did however, including China and Pakistan.

It was a useful refresher on where the CTBT stands today. For me, the answer was that the treaty is in remarkably good stead. It is also in a much better position to respond to critics of the treaty.

One is the issue of whether the CTBTO can actually detect a nuclear explosion. The answer is largely, “Yes.” The CTBTO today has a stunning 337 international monitoring stations, 90 per cent of the total envisaged under the treaty, from the Arctic to the Antarctica, on mountains and even the ocean bed. These stations are of four varieties: seismic, hydroacoustic, radionuclide and infrasound. I visited one of the third variety on the roof of the CTBTO office in Vienna, complete with its pure germanium detector and giant rooftop air-sampling vacuum cleaner.

There are some types of tiny nuclear tests, in the range of one-tenth of a tonne of TNT equivalent and less, that this network would struggle to detect. And these could help finesse existing weapons systems, but they would be useless in the development of new ones. Which is what the test ban is broadly designed to stop.

The other issue is whether it is likely to get the approval of the main nuclear powers. The answer: it all depends on the US presidential elections in November.

As the conference made amply clear, until the US ratifies the CTBT, then China will not do the same. And if neither of them does it, then India won’t either. If India is on board, so is Pakistan. Israel, one of the quiet nuclear weapons states, would probably go in once the US did.

This chain reaction of ratifications and signatories (in India’s case, these two acts are merged into one act) is expected to follow a US action. Many of the US participants, drawn from the non-proliferation expert line up, were scathing about their country’s shilly-shallying. Especially, as one pointed out, the original purpose of the CTBT was to lock in the US’s nuclear weapons technology superiority.

But, as many noted, what has happened is that almost every country in the world accepts the norm that there should be no testing.

India, of course, famously refused to sign the CTBT and despite attempts by the Vajpayee government and Manmohan Singh’s regime to consider putting pen to dotted line, the opposition has been able to recast testing into a “sovereignty” or worse issue.

There is a case for India to consider supporting the CTBT after the US and China have led the way.

It all really depends on whether India actually needs to carry out more nuclear tests. Opinion is divided, but a 2009 debate on this issue was triggered by K. Santhanam, former number two at the Defence Research Development Organisation, who claimed the Pokhran II nuclear tests had failed. In the resulting furore, the government released more information about the tests and made a strong case for the tests having succeeded. If true, then India’s moratorium can be extended indefinitely and, if so, might as well be transmuted into a treaty signature.

India is then only waiting for the US to sign and a domino fall of other countries to follow suit. It is possible New Delhi may hold the CTBT on hold until it becomes a member of the Nuclear Suppliers Group and other non-proliferation technology regimes. But these are really tactical issues.

There are other reasons India should take another look at the CTBTO. Because of its network of monitoring sites, the CTBTO played a remarkably role in detecting and tracking the consequences of the Fukushima nuclear accident. Similarly, it is a useful monitor of tsunami-type geological activity.

While India is playing a waiting for the US Senate to get the ball rolling again, it should start ending its present Cold War allergy to the CTBTO and similar bodies. India could easily be an observer of the CTBTO without compromising any of its principles – and getting access to knowledge that may actually prove to have important humanitarian applications.

At a heavy explosion in a barracks of the Iranian revolution guards near Teheran at least 17 people have been killed on Saturday. Several people were injured. Some of them would be in critical condition, the daily “Tehran time” reported and referred to a high officer of the guard. According to information from the news agency Isna the explosion in an ammunition depot of the powerful paramilitary troop happened near the cities of Malard and Scharia, about 35 kilometres from Teheran remote. “Press” TV after reporting the state news channel it was an accident. The exact cause would be examined now, Iranian media reported. President Mahmud Ahmadinedschad has asked Minister of Defence Ahmad Wahidi according to the official news agency Irna to pay a visit to the families of the victims. “Presses” TV according to it came about 35 kilometres to a fire in the ammunition depot at Scharia west of Teheran in the morning. It was said under reference to reports of the news agency Fars the accident has happened with surrounding ammunition according to information from a high officer of the guard. By the force of the explosion window panes have gone to break in the wide surroundings. Several houses in the surroundings have been damaged. Several witnesses reported to the news agency Reuters, it has had to be felt in the western suburbs of Teheran that the force of the explosion removes 45 kilometres of the base. The revolution guards have great influence in Iran. You were built after the Islamic revolution of 1979 to the protection of the regime. There are different details on the troops strength: The talk is from 125 000 to 300 000 man.

More Prisoners of Eternity.

When the German battleship Bismarck was launched in April, 1939, she was at 41, 700 tons, with 8 15 inch guns, 13 inch thick armour, a top speed of 30 knots, and a crew of 2,221, the largest and most powerful warship in the world. The sheer knowledge of her existence sent a shiver up the spine of the Allied powers, in particular the Royal Navy. Yet she was only ever to conduct one mission, and one where she was to administer a cruel blow to British morale.

On 15 September, 1940, the Bismarck began her sea trials and the Germans were keen to get her operational as soon as possible. Once out in the sea lanes of the North Atlantic she would be able to wreck havoc with the convoys coming from America that were vital to Britain’s survival. The Commander of the Kreigsmarine Erich Raeder was determined to implement his policy of using his heavy surface ships against British merchant shipping. If a battleship with the immense firepower of the Bismarck could get amongst a convoy it could utterly destroy it in double-quick time making the convoy system untenable, and forcing merchant ships to sail individually and unprotected, thereby easy prey for marauding U.Boats. The British supply line would then be cut and she would be forced to seek terms or starve. The battleships Scharnhorst and Gneisenau were already operating out of Brest in France, and the Bismarck’s sister ship Tirpitz was close to completion.

Operation Rheinebung had originally intended for the Bismarck and Tirpitz accompanied by the heavy-cruisers Admiral Hipper and Admiral Scheer to link up with the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau and head for the shipping-lanes of the mid-Atlantic; but the Tirpitz was not yet ready and a British bombing raid on Kiel Harbour had damaged supply depots meaning the Admiral Hipper and Admiral Scheer could not be refitted and repaired, the Gneisenau had also been damaged by a torpedo whilst moored in Brest. Even so, Operation Rheinebung would go ahead with the Bismarck accompanied by the heavy-cruiser Prinz Eugen.

The man chosen to lead the operation was Gunther Lutjens, a 52 year old veteran of the First World War with more than 30 years experience. He was by no means a Nazi rather a dedicated military man of the old school. Indeed, he was one of only three officers who protested in writing against the anti-Jewish pogroms of Kristallnacht (November, 1938) and was known to have a Jewish grandmother. The Captain of the Bismarck was Ernst Lindermann, again no Nazi but a proud Navy man. He had, however, never commanded a ship at sea and was rather a gunnery expert.

At 02.00 on 19 May, 1941, the Bismarck and Prinz Eugen accompanied by the destroyers Z23, Hans Lody, Friedrich Eckholdt, and a flotilla of minesweepers left Gotenhafen Harbour in the Baltic heading for the Denmark Straits and access to the North Atlantic. Some 8 merchant ships had been strategically positioned to meet the needs of re-supply and 4 U.Boats stationed to act as convoy spotters. However, by noon of the same day any hopes of operational secrecy were dashed when they were spotted by Swedish reconnaissance aircraft. Just over an hour later they encountered the Swedish cruiser Gotland which shadowed the fleet for more than two hours. In no time at all the Royal Navy had been alerted.

Back in Britain, Admiral John Tovey ordered the battleships Hood and Prince of Wales with 6 destroyers to reinforce the 2 cruisers already patrolling the Denmark Straits. If the Bismarck was going to break out into the Atlantic it appeared that it would have to fight. This Lutjens hoped to avoid and at 04.00 he ordered his ships to increase speed to 27 knots with the aim of making a quick dash through the Denmark Strait before any reinforcements arrived. By 1900 on 23 May, they had reached a point north of Iceland. Not long after they discovered that they were being shadowed by the cruiser HMS Suffolk. Lutjens ordered the Prinz Eugen to engage the Suffolk and under intense fire she was forced to withdraw. It was too late, however, and she had already reported the Bismarck’s new position. The Suffolk was now joined by HMS Norfolk and despite Lutjens best efforts he was unable to shake them off. At 05.45 on 24 May, lookouts aboard the Bismarck spotted HMS Hood and HMS Prince of Wales in the distance.

HMS Hood held an iconic status in the mind of the British public. She had gone into service in 1921 and was an almost ever-present at flag-waving events throughout the world. She was considered to be Britain’s premier warship and the very image of British naval power. But by 1941, she was ageing and had evident faults. A major refit had been planned but the outbreak of war had put this on indefinite hold. By contrast the Prince of Wales had only recently been commissioned, was not yet complete, and still had civilian contractors on board.

Though they were not in a good position and could only bring their front turrets to bear at 05.52 the British opened fire at a range of 26,000 metres. Admiral Lutjens was reluctant to return fire, after all his orders were to attack Britain’s Merchant Fleet not engage in highly dangerous duels with other major surface vessels. An argument now broke out between him and Captain Lindermann who eventually exclaimed in frustration, ” I shall not allow my ship to be blown out from under my ass!” At 05.55 she returned fire. Meanwhile, aboard the Hood Admiral Sir Lancelot Holland and Captain Ralph Kerr were desperately trying to manoeuvre their ship into a position where they could bring all its guns to bear. To do so under fire made her vulnerable.

At 06.00 the Hood was hit by a shell that made the entire ship shudder. Moments later she was hit again by a shell that penetrated the magazine. A massive explosion followed that broke the ship in half. She sank in just three minutes. Of the crew of 1,418 only 3 survived. No bodies were later found floating on the water, they had all gone down with the ship.

Both the Bismarck and Prinz Eugen now concentrated their fire on the Prince of Wales. which continued the fight for a while before, out-gunned and damaged, she was forced to send up a smoke screen and disengage. She had, however, scored three hits on the Bismarck despite many of her guns having malfunctioned. Her Captain John Leach, had also had a lucky escape when a shell, which did not explode, had torn through the bridge and killed all on it except him and one other.

Significantly, the Bismarck’s fuel supply had been hit and she was leaking oil at an alarming rate. A Sunderland Flying Boat reported the leak back to the Admiralty. Admiral Tovey aboard the battleship King George V now ordered the cruisers HMS Manchester, HMS Birmingham, and HMS Arethusa into the Denmark Strait in case the Bismarck made a run for port. He also ordered the battleships HMS Ramilles, HMS Rodney, HMS Revenge, the aircraft-carriers HMS Ark Royal, HMS Victorious, and numerous cruisers and destroyers to join the chase.

At 22.00 the Bismarck was attacked by torpedo bombers launched from HMS Victorious but little damage was done. But then at 03.00 on 25 May, all contact with the Bismarck was lost. There was panic in the Admiralty that she was about to escape the trap that had been set for her. A frantic search began. During the day a radio intercept indicated that Lutjens had ordered his ships to make for the French port of Brest. She wasn’t spotted again until 10.30 on 26 May, and the news wasn’t good. She was 790 miles from her destination but at her current rate of progress she would be within Luftwaffe protection in less than 24 hours and there were no British ships stationed in her way. The only chance was to slow her down.

The cruiser HMS Sheffield was dispatched to shadow her but came under an intense barrage which killed 3 men and was forced to withdraw out of range. Meanwhile, Admiral James Somerville, in command of Force H ordered Torpedo Bombers from HMS Ark Royal to attack the Bismarck at once. The first attack failed when the inexperienced pilots attacked the Sheffield by mistake. The second attack found its target however, and 2 torpedoes struck the Bismarck, the second hitting its rudder shaft. The damage was far worse than was at first feared, and by 21.40 Lutjens was reporting that his ship was unmanoeuvrable. Fast running out of fuel and now effectively unable to steer the Bismarck had become a sitting target.

By daybreak on the 27 May, the British Capital Ships had caught up with the Bismarck. They found her alone, Lutjens had ordered the Prinz Eugen to make her escape at 16.14 the previous evening during an exchange of salvoes with the Prince of Wales, and helplessly going around in circles. As the battleships Rodney, Repulse, and King George V closed, Captain Philip Vian’s destroyer flotilla constantly harassed the Bismarck, flitting in and out of range, launching torpedos, and illuminating the great ship with star shells. At 08.47, having closed to within 10 miles of its target the Rodney opened fire, moments later the King George V did the same. The Bismarck returned fire.

At 09.02 , a 16 inch shell from the Rodney struck the Bismarck full-on killing hundreds of men and causing extensive damage. Moments later the bridge was hit and utterly destroyed almost certainly resulting in the death of Lutjens and Lindermann. Still the Bismarck fought on however, under the command of the Gunnery Officer Lieutenant von Mullenheim. By now the British cruisers had closed to within range and had opened fire.

With its gunnery control centre destroyed, von Mullenheim ordered the Bismarck’s guns to pinpoint their own targets and fire at random. It was no longer an ordered defence but a desperate struggle for survival. The hits were coming thick and fast, explosions were occurring in every part of the ship, and body parts, the dead, and the dying were strewn over its decks, but no order had come to abandon ship, the fight continued.

By 10.00 the Bismarck was ablaze from stem to stern and dead in the water but she had not struck her colours, so Admiral Tovey ordered the firing to continue. In desperation the Bismarck launched her torpedoes one of which exploded near the Rodney slightly damaging her, the only time in history that a battleship has tried to torpedo another.

The First Officer aboard the Bismarck, Hans Oels, now began to rush around the ship ordering everyone to leave their posts and abandon ship. Some have also suggested that he ordered the water-tight doors opened to scuttle the ship, but as she was already a burning hulk that could not possibly be boarded and was already sinking, there didn’t appear to be much point. We shall never know for sure because soon after a shell struck the ship that killed Oels and around a 100 other men.

At 10.20, Admiral Tovey ordered the cruiser HMS Dorsetshire to close and finish the Bismarck off. She fired 4 torpedoes 2 of which hit. At 10.35 the Bismarck capsised and began to sink by the stern. She disappeared beneath the waves at 10.40. The Dorsetshire and the destroyer HMS Maori now moved in to pick up survivors. Just 114 men out of a crew of 2,200 were recovered from the water and many of these had terrible wounds. At 11.40 the rescue mission was abandoned when U.Boats were reported to be in the area leaving hundreds of men struggling in the water to drown.

The destruction of the Bismarck was a serious setback to Erich Raedar’s plans to use his surface fleet in a proactive way and the focus of German naval operations soon switched to Admiral Karl Doenitz’s U.Boat fleet.

The Royal Navy had nipped-in-the-bud a serious threat to its Merchant Marine and avenged the loss of the Hood. It was a morale boosting moment during the darkest days of the war and proved once again the dominance of the Royal Navy’s surface fleet in the North Atlantic. It would never be so challenged again.

On Security measures.

BOMB BLAST AGAIN!

The rate of bomb explosion in Nigeria is a major source of worry to its inhabitants. One wonder why the frequency of its recurrence! The government had at a time promised her citizens that security would be beefed up and forestalled its recurrence but till date the situation has not changed nor abated. What should we do and how do we go about it?

The recent bomb blast in Jos has sent another signal of insecurity and threat to the nation at large and the state in particularly. Though till now the security operators of the state have not made statement in that regard. But what could be responsible for the two bombs detonation?

Beyond the issue of religion, sentiment aside, I think the government need to take the issue of security more seriously. This is a service that the nation owns its citizenry. In a situation where bombs explode every now and then, it poses threat and imminent danger on the people.

Who are really the people responsible for this dastardly act? What could have been responsible for this their action? There is no smoke without fire. It is high time we look for the route of the problem so as to nib it in the bud. Once the cause of a problem is known, then its solution is not farfetched.

How did this people manage to gain entrance and access to the area is still another area to be looked into. In that regard one would like to ask if the security operatives were not on ground or have the requisite facilities to detect and revamp its effect.

The incessant act is becoming too alarming in less than a month now the explosion in the country is pronounced. Should we assume that nothing is happening because it has not reached us or persons close to us? The time to act is now. Procrastination to a large extent has debarred effective action on the recipients.

Let everybody rise up to the occasion and make their contribution towards this national interest. Let’s take cue from USA who since 911 Attack has fortified its security network. Enough of rhetoric but more of action will really curb the menace.

The Federal Government, state and the inhabitants need to par together and work in harmony in order to put an end to this evil beclouding the glory of the nation and destroying its international repute. If we must advancement in this regard, we must be on ground to oversee and monitor every bits of the duty.

In conclusion, all the arms of government should come together to find a lasting solution to the nation’s security problem which seems as at now very porous and uncoordinated. In addition the inhabitants should also play their quota by reporting any suspected people or object to the security operatives in their domain. With this sanity would return back to the nation.

The Five People Who Are Being Convicted For The 1988 Kansas City Explosion.

I am writing because I have recently heard that they are finally reopening the case on the explosion of the 6 firefighters that happened in 1988 I was 4 years old. This is a good thing in my opion!. These five people were convicted and sentenced to life in prison in 1997 at this time there case was closed. A reward sigh was posted in many jails…. that read… REWARD 50.000 FOR INFORMATION. HMMMMMMM I wonder why these posters were posted in the jails? let me take a stab at it…. maybe in jails or prison in this matter there are many “snitches” or even people who probably don’t even know a thing but would like $50.000 hell who wouldn’t? So here is what they did….They sat down these people and basically threatened them or scared the hell out of them (same thing) to get them to “cough up” fake stories so they can convict 5 people who didn’t have anything to do with this tragedy. On one account a woman was told she would have her son taken from her if she didn’t share any information she may have had…. Another said they would give him a stiffer jail sentence. What a way to get information to convict 5 people who had nothing to do with this crime. These people were framed and why? Because these 5 people were well known around the Marlboro area for their petty crimes. The Kansas, city police knew of them real well so why not pin this crime on them right? why not take 5 people from their children, mothers, wife’s? and so on….. Things like this make you wonder can I really trust the people who are supposed to protect and serve me? Ummmmm something to think about…. How about when u see on TV or read in the papers that a cop has killed someone or that little camera that they have mounted on their dashboard that actually shows a cop beating the hell out of someone just for the hell of it because their having a “bad” day. And again something to think about….. What if your sitting at home with your family or even in bed and the next thing you know……Your spending the rest of your life behind bars and being charged with a crime u didn’t commit just because you had a rap sheet the size of Texas for petty crimes. That still does not give the feds no right to pin murder on you now does it? Lets hope Justice will be served for these 5 people…. God don’t like ugly!

This is a confession from a witness of Hiroshima and Nagasaki Bomb.

Akiko Takakura, a witness of the tragedy in Hiroshima Nagasaki. As we all know, there was an atom-bomb that drop in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 6 August 1945. And one of the survivor, Akiko Takakura is a witness from that tragedy. At that time, he stood very near to the hypo-center of the bombs explosion.

Akiko still 20 years old that time. At the events, around 9 AM local time, he was at Bank Hiroshima. Akiko stood 300 metres from the center of the explosion. Akiko was one of the victims that survive miraculously, even though there were more than a hundred of scars that left on his back.

He tells that a lot of people died immediately that time. Their corpses were anywhere on the street. As we can saw that time, all we saw was burnt corpses, and lots of people were bleeding everywhere. It is so creepy.

Fire was slowly spreading to their whole body, from their finger to their whole body. There was a liquid, a light grey liquid, that drips to their hand.

Akiko was shocked to know that fingers and body can burnt and become defect like that. He doesn’t believe that. He really shocked and it is horrible. Akiko was seeing all of that tragedy. It is more terrifying to think how their fingers burnt, hand and fingers were melting. And among them, there were some people that holding their babies.

“They just, they just,.. burn until all out,” he says that with a stammer voice.

Akiko tells, the morning of the tragedy is very hot. Flame heating were everywhere. All the people had a problem when breathing, include Akiko himself. All the air that their breath was hot air.

“Maybe the fire was burning the oxygen, I don’t know. I can’t open my eyes because there are a lot of fog. Not only me, but everybody also feel the same,” says Akiko.

For a couple of years after that incident, Akiko has become traumatic and phobia of fire. “Because all my senses remind me how scary and horrible that fire was,”.
