How are political process is corupt.

Nowhere in the United States Constitution does it say that a individuals finances are the basic requirement for any political office. Yet, today more than in any other time in our history elections are won and lost solely on the bases of monetary strengths. Ideas, concepts, platforms, and solutions all take a so called back seat when a person is running for elected office. This past primary in Florida is testament to the fact that our political system is failing the American public.

American politics today has ushered in a most disconcerting realm of reality. In every corner of the political spectrum candidates are all too consumed with garnishing huge sums of money so so they can maintain their electability. There are hundreds of instances that show how typical campaign contributions have run amok. Last years ruling by the Supreme Court on campaign finance only accelerated the growing need for more massive financing flowing into candidates coffers. The Florida primary recently just showed how massive influxes of funding does impact elections. When Mit Romney paid millions of dollars for over 13,000 television advertisements that only show cased negativity and yet went on to win the primary is proof enough that money is the most important prerequisite for any candidates electability. It is as though the “fix” was in for Mit Romney. We, the hapless public meanwhile were continually unendated with relentless commercials that only showed how deplorable political campaigns have really become. All this posturing and political antagonism pitted against each other is now the new norm in our political scene today. The real effectiveness of so much infusion of funding that pays for advertising is again evident with the lowest voter turnout in recent memory here in Florida. Once again the Republicans have proven that they are most concerned with winning than they are about putting forth real authentic solutions to solve the many crisis that hamper millions of Americans from achieving the “American Dream”. When Mit Romney stated recently that poor people in this country already have a safety net. When it is quite obvious this so called net that is supposed to be in place to guard against anyone from falling through and into an abyss of economic deprivation is just an dellusion of grandeur on part of the GOP. So many millions of Americans today have already fallen through that “safety net” that for many they might not ever be able to climb out of. With the rest of the world teetering on the edge of darkness where at any moment antagonistic attitudes by certain leaders of nations could ignite the fuse for which global confrontation would flare up into a world at war, again. Precarious positions leaders have chosen. But, nowhere are the GOP frontrunner’s taking issue with and proposing any ideas or solutions that would defuse the tensions that continue to threaten global peace. Instead they are using their moment in the sun sort of speaking to degrade and criticize each other and even the current President they so shamelessly seek to replace. In no other time in recent memory has a political process degraded itself, lost all concept of decency and re gated itself in positions where power brokers wield the most influence. Is the main stream media mostly to blame for this evolution to a state of almost total corruption? All across the country major news organizations take it upon themselves to rationalize and validate candidates viability. This is regardless of whether any candidate has complied with Federal Election rules and regulations. When elections are based solely on a persons monetary wealth or connections to those who bestow huge allocations of funds into a particular candidates so called “war chest” the general public losses. This is what is taking place all across America today.
No longer are elected officials especially GOP candidates looking out for the countries best interests. They have instead sought to seek more monetary gains to get elected and to get re-elected. This in itself only give rise to a system of government that is so far removed from the publics best interest. Money and power have corrupted the American Democratic process to a point of almost no return. The American people are left to dwell in a perpetual state of inequality, a broken economic structure, and a system of government that continues to ignore the needs of it’s citizens.

Image via Wikipedia

If the United States has any hope of restoring this nation to that of which our founding fathers envisioned total reform has to happen. To continue to have state and federal officials being bought and paid for, a government of the people and by the people ceases to exist.
When the election process today especially Presidential campaigns which are way to long, continue to waste time and money, and only manage to infuriate the voting public with meaningless rhetoric is evident that reform is urgently needed. When there are a number of Americans who want to serve their country by being a public official are denied simply because of monetary restrictions that are imposed by the media and the already established power brokers the United States will only continue to slide away from a democratic republic and into a realm of reality that endangers the way of live Americas has always known.

Newt Gingrich's rhetoric blames the wealth of Mitt Romney. He aligns himself with Rick Santorem, assuming that by combining his votes with Santorem's would place him in the winning position. These assumptions make convenient excuses for Gingrich losing Florida. However, if Republicans are going to win the election in November, excuses will not count. Romney has supplied the voters with reasons why he would make the best candidate. Gingrich has been running on successs of past decades.

Mitt Romney came forth with a winning speech in Florida. He exhibited the leadership qualities missing in today’s administration. Instead of graciously acknowledging he had lost Florida, Newt Gingrich gave an embellished speech of what he would do as a winner, even though he lost. Gingrich has increasingly become the whiner, the poor loser, blaming Romney’s wealth for his lost votes. Bottom line is that you can put electrified uniforms on a losing football team and they will remain nothing more than a well dressed, losing football team. The people in the primaries have voted. They did not vote for the historian, nor the person who was closest to Ronald Reagan 30 years ago. The people are looking for leadership and the knowledge to beat Barack Obama. Mitt Romney gave them that and that is the reason he won. When the whining didn’t get attention, Gingrich now has his people fighting for change in delgegates. It is time to pursue the candidacy based on his ability to perform the job. A budget passed over 20 years ago is a nice record but does not bespeak of his ability to do so in today’s economy. We are reaching out to someone who can save our country from the disastous damage done in the past three years. Gingrich is an extremely knowledgeable historian with great accomplishments in the past, but he is not exhibiting the character and leadership needed to beat Barack Obama.

Romney has money and momentum now!

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has enough money and momentum to be leading in a series of primary contests in February. Yes about money, Romney had collected no less than $ 24 million until the end of last year. A matter of momentum, of course, a big victory in Florida is an event worth mentioning.

Thus, the rate will be very difficult Romney stopped by Newt Gingrich. In addition to money and momentum, Romeny also has a capable staff and volunteers. Instead, Gingrich seems ill-fitting in those things. This is seen in the contests that have taken place.

Needless to Romney’s victory in Florida is a smart rebound from earlier losses and represented a major step toward the Republican presidential nomination. He will receive Secret Service protection, starting on Wednesday (Feb, 01).

Although Gingrich still have a chance, it seems that Romney did not take it. Not only is he ready to become a Republican when the national convention, but he was ready to replace Barack Obama leads this country.
Sure, the money factor will be a strong factor for Romney to deliver a higher level contests. Although, the issue of support staff and volunteers are also important. But so far, about money, Romney also has not been matched by another candidate from the republic.

I have used the word tomorrow like so many other people thinking that it would be so very different than today. The truth of the matter is today is tomorrow and tomorrow is really today. This is just as confusing as the Tea Party Republican Nominees, especially Mitt.

Double talking is key in today’s political arena. Flip Flopping is no longer a thing of the past as many once thought. Today many people duck their responsible by putting things off until tomorrow when in fact it should have been done today, but, when tomorrow comes around and when people are questioned about the things that were put off for today they say that they went ahead and did it on yesterday and give no apparent reason for doing so.

I read in an article recently that mental clarity declines when people hit middle age and I quote:

“As many people hit middle age, they often start to notice that their memory and mental clarity are not what they used to be. We suddenly can’t remember where we put the keys just a moment ago, or an old acquaintance’s name, or the name of an old band we used to love. As the brain fades, we euphemistically refer to these occurrences as “senior moments.”

While seemingly innocent, this loss of mental focus can potentially have a detrimental impact on our professional, social, and personal well being.”

I think that this is the case of many of the Republican rich politicians today who are running to be the Nominee for the Presidency later this year. They are running very much like their mental clarity has somewhat dimmed to where this Country is today and how far we have come since the 1960s. Its almost like they think that the way we did things in yesterdays past is sufficient for today and want tomorrow to be like the Reagan years. It tells me that both of the Front Runners brains have stalled in time and the needs of the American people don’t count.

I think that when tomorrow comes around and the vote is cast in Florida and all the other states, when people are questioned about the events of yesterday about what they said about the future of our tomorrow it will be clear that they are not living in the reality of today. Neither Mitt, Gingrich, Santorium, or Paul have a clue about the realities of today. They all think that today is tomorrow and thats why Newt is talking about building a Colony on the moon and Mitt wants to tell people they are fired if they even think about it. Mitt and Newt, what a choice!

If this article is confusing to you, it is just like todays politics and the Evangelistic Heretics that has the Headlines in our Country today.

Romney would Čtyřiašedesátiletý investigation Reuters / Ipsos published on Monday, could get 43 percent votes, while Gingrich 15 percent less, but Gingrich would like to build on the success of South Carolina, where he managed to defeat Romney. Romney on the other hand wants to return to the role of favorite. They therefore have lobbied on Monday before the voters and trying to addressin particular the large Latino population.
More than attacking each other but the current president Barack Obama. Gingrich said that if the White House, I would at the end ofthe day saw the removal of 40 percent of the Obama administration.

Romney does not support the Republicans because he is Mormon. When he was governor of Massachusetts, agreed with the rightof women to abortion, did the approach to gays and pushed health care reform, according to which Obama has scheduled his federal reform in this area.

Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich? In a few hours in the Republican primary in the "Sunshine State" Florida is the decision. Romney is ahead in the polls, but Gingrich does not want to give up. The party threatens a culture war, could be at the end of the division.

Shortly before they start, they will shrink even more rapidly the airplane hangar. Left and right of the rostrum are reared blue curtains. The space is shrinking, now is not as to the emptiness. “Hey,” calls the local chairman, but you should if you please cheer same time strong. The people try it. Then the candidate.

“Wow,” said Newt Gingrich, “Im looking forward to huge.” Wife Callista radiates into the half-empty hall. Its just over 150 people have come to call three of them enduring “Newt, Newt.”

Only a few hours to code in Florida. It does not look good for the candidate Gingrich.

In contrast, Mitt Romney, the halls and squares are full. The pollsters tell him a clear victory in the primary ahead of this Tuesday, 15 percentage points in recent polls suggest he is against Gingrich. All other candidates lagged far behind. Well blasphemes runner Romney, Mr Gingrich these days just do not go so great. Why not? Well, so Gingrich could even look in the mirror. And his campaign? “You can only look on and shake your head.”

Lincoln is the party before the split?

Romney, however, has not only been watching. After Gingrich in South Carolina was able to triumph over him, he has invested millions in his Florida campaign to squelch Gingrich. Romney has flooded the country with negative commercials on radio and television. A “blitzkrieg” notes the “Washington Post”: to do Instead of trying to convince the voters to be Romney have more Gingrich’s character (three marriages, dozens of affairs, lobbying, ethical misconduct in office) and made his electability. Gingrich describes Romney’s campaign in one word: carpet bombing.

The candidates are doing everything in Florida. The 19-million-inhabitant country half as big as Germany, will play a crucial role. In three states, the Republicans have held their primaries so far, they have chosen three winners: the arch-conservatives in Iowa, Rick Santorum, the moderates in New Hampshire, Romney and Gingrich firebrand in South Carolina.

In Florida, it’s about 50 delegate votes for the election party in August, which are awarded on a winner-takes-all principle. Who on this Tuesday in the transition region of Florida voters – can win, which recommends itself for the nomination – a so-called swing state. In past presidential elections, the southern state was again tipped the scales, as in 2000 when the later race between President George W. Bush and Democrat Al Gore.

Not an easy political terrain, because the state is composed of very different regions – virtually America in miniature. Since the classic conservative Southerners are on top in the northwest, where because of its geographical shape than Pfannenstiel designated part of the country. The central Florida with the cities of Tampa and Orlando on the other hand is considered a liberal. On the Gulf coast live many retirees who have come here from all over America.

In the south around Miami, the Hispanic population is strong, especially the Cuban exiles. More than 20 percent of Florida’s residents are Hispanic. Especially in matters of immigration, there is accordingly between North and South Florida very different views. Big issue in the country is also the ailing economy. Here, unemployment is around ten percent higher than in the rest of America, and the mortgage crisis has made people particularly hard. In December alone, more than 20,000 homes were foreclosed.

Romney has managed to sit through all parts of the country, classes and groups at the top of the polls: among pensioners, the Latinos, the new voters. However: On the approval ratings of U.S. President Barack Obama in the November elections for the major group of Latinos comes close none of the Republican candidates.

Clash of Civilizations

But the fall is still a distant prospect. The Republicans now lead a fight among themselves, who has it all. Sure, dirty fights were also earlier code. The Republican race in 2012 but is different. It is absolute. It could split the Grand Old Party, the party of Abraham Lincoln, – this fragile alliance of hardcore Christians, conservatives, liberals, market, real politicians.

It is just this division, apparently with the Newt Gingrich sees his chance. The 68-year-old, his life as a politician first and then spent as a lobbyist in Washington, as now behaves like the anti-establishment candidate. The anger-Newt battling for the votes of Wutbürger of the radical tea party. Of “grass roots movement,” he says now. From the “People Power”, which will win out over “money power” of the multi-millionaire and anti-establishment candidate Romney.

Gingrich has taken a last-minute support. On Monday, he toured with Michael Reagan through the country, tens of completing the two events. Reagan is the son of former U.S. president, the patron saint of the conservatives. It fits fine, but Gingrich declared anywhere in Florida, he was the legitimate heir to Reagan.

Reagan, Gingrich is a junior so loyal assistant in the culture war: 2012 run from the same area code as the struggles of his father in the late seventies, he says. Since the fighting had “Reagan Conservatives” against the liberals in his own ranks. “You now have the chance to reclaim your freedom,” he calls in an airplane hangar in Tampa. Shall run in the Florida Freedom (Gingrich) or socialism (Romney, Obama).

Even Herman Cain, former pizza chain boss and ex-presidential candidate, looks on Monday over yet when Gingrich and Reagan. Cain, the Gingrich “one of the great grassroots populists of the country” and which has many supporters in the ranks of the Tea Party, advertises only since Saturday for the candidates Gingrich. Why? “Because I did not before.” In plain English: It was only after Gingrich’s looming defeat, Romney’s victory in Florida is so important to jump on the right-wing conservatives Gingrich. Warned, also Tea Party icon Sarah Palin, Gingrich wants the establishment “crucify”.

May beat no matter what his adversary Romney ahead in the “Sunshine State” at the end – because the race between Romney and Gingrich is no longer just a battle, but a clash of cultures, it is on this Tuesday in Florida do not end. Gingrich wants a long, tough fight. “There will be a real challenge for Romney to get at the party a majority in the summer,” he says. Gingrich does not want to admit defeat, has been the March primaries in sight: As several southern states are on the list. Gingrich territory.

But those states that choose in the coming weeks – about Nevada, Maine, Minnesota – have given Gingrich’s long lost people. Also in the Romney camp, they settle down to a long struggle, the expected fast passage have written her off. “No matter what happens in Florida,” the magazine quotes “Politico” Romney’s chief strategist Eric Fehr power, “Mitt Romney will not turn on auto-pilot. We will fight for every vote.”

With just over a week to go until the Iowa Caucus, the GOP nomination is still pretty wide open. Although some things have been cleared up, Iowa is still very volitil. GOP hopefuls have not spent as much time in Iowa as in recent years and do not have as many people on the ground. They are instead relying on the many debates and more internet campaigns. Voters in Iowa, like in New Hampshire often relish these face to face encounters that they have had the privilege of in the past elections and many make their decisions based on these encounters. The lack of interaction will lead to more volatility. Now for the state-by-state breakdown:

Iowa- It doesn’t seem like Iowa will be as much of a swing state as in the past. Whoever wins will probably not blow anyone out so it could still be wide open after Iowa. Ron Paul has been leading in the polls and his supports are way more likely to vote for him than say, Newt Gingrich. If Paul doesn’t win, then it is up to Romney, Gingrich, and Perry. Out of these three Perry has the most to gain, As Romney can look good anywhere, plus he’s got New Hampshire coming up, he can afford a second, third, or even fourth place finish. If either of the other two win it will most likely be a lateral move as each have support in South Carolina and New Hampshire. Paul would benefit greatly from a win, But a Perry win could really bring some momentum to a campaign that has been in a free fall since the week after he entered the race.

New Hampshire-It is a little more clearer here, but it will still be a huge state for several second-tier candidates. Huntsman could go a long way in extending his campaign and a surprise win by anyone else could do the same. Huntsman has put all of his eggs in New Hampshire’s basket and if he finishes in the top three his campaign might last until after Florida depending on what he does in South Carolina and Florida. A win for Huntsman would create a real fight in Florida for some Independents and Blue Republicans. A Romney win would simply reaffirm him as what he is- a top rate, intelligent candidate-and perhaps loosen him up a little. New Hampshire being a pretty liberal state, Independents will play a huge part in anyone’s win and hardcore GOPers will probably dismiss whoever wins as a ‘progressive’. Excpect for either Bachmann or Santorum or both to drop out if both have bad showings in Iowa and New Hampshire.

South Carolina-So far the most conservative state. Look for Gingrich to have a great showing. Romney will probably also have a good showing. If Huntsman does well in New Hampshire he will be hard pressed to keep the momentum going in South Carolina as he has very little infrastructure in South Carolina and look for him to drop out after this, although if he pulls of a miracle and does well in SC he might have a lot of momentum going into Florida.

To wrap it all up it is a crapshoot. Romney is looking good and so could a lot of other candidates if they get some pieces to fall into place for them. In the end it will be Romney against someone to be named later. And that someone might be able to give Romney a good fight.

After sucking up to the Bubbas of South Carolina, it’s now time for the candidates to pander to the Bubbes of Florida. As anyone who remembers the 2000 election knows, old Jews hold the key to victory in the Sunshine State.

And apparently, Newt Gingrich knows exactly where his challah bread is buttered…

At his first rally of the morning, Newt Gingrich rolled out a new attack line: Mitt Romney took kosher food away from elderly Jewish people.

“He eliminated serving kosher food for elderly Jewish residents under Medicare,” Gingrich said. “I did not know this; it just came out yesterday. The more we dig in, I understand why George Soros in Europe yesterday said it makes no difference if it’s Romney or Obama, we can live with either one.”

Newt Gingrich may be great at wooing congressional staffers, but he’s a total pro at seducing Miami retirees. He knows the only way to a Jewish grandparent’s heart is through their stomach and heart medication.

Though it is kind of surprising that observant Jews would go near the candidate considering their strong aversion to pork products. Newt sure knows a lot about keeping kosher for a guy who resembles a Christmas ham.

As we squabble over every response, every speech and every gesture from the remaining Republican candidates; we continue to slip deeper into recession. Government continues to grow; regulating more and more of our lives. This will help you stay focused on what matters as the election process continues.

THREE STATES: THREE WINNERS

Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina have all had their share of Republican debates. The poll ballots have been counted and each state picked a different winner as their choice for the Republican nominee. Some say these debates are splitting the vote too many ways as the process continues. Many are also saying the constant barrage of negative ad campaigns will tarnish the remaining candidates too greatly to gather enough support, but this is nothing compared to the onslaught which will be brought down on the Republican candidate who faces Obama in November. Your candidate needs to be prepared and these debates are helping him; whoever he is…including Ron Paul.

Now with the field narrowed; I’m sure you are beginning to rally behind “your” candidate. What will you do if “your” candidate drops out of the race? Many have ended their runs for president, leaving three strong candidates and Ron Paul. Many of the early drop outs in the process did so because of various pressures brought on by debate performance, poll results, campaign support or personal scandals. It seemed every week there was a new front-runner. This was a necessary process to help get the quality candidates we have today.

DO NOT RELY ON THE HIGHLIGHT REELS

The debates should be reviewed in their entirety in order to reveal which candidate you feel works best under pressure. This is a primary skill of the candidate who will perform best against Obama. One thing I hear often is only one candidate will beat Obama. That is not true. Anyone can beat Obama. We are in a far worse state since Obama became president. Even today, Obama blames anything but himself for the country’s continued economic decline. Obama’s Stimulus Plan has sunk this country into more debt quicker than any other president in history. Obama’s poor performance as a leader and the far-reaching polices which expand the tentacles of government into our lives need to stop if we want our children to have the same opportunities to succeed as we do. I could run against Obama with that kind of performance and I won’t need a teleprompter.

DON’T COUNT ON FLORIDA

Florida is just another step in the process just like South Carolina, New Hampshire and Iowa. Florida is not the best at reliable ballot counting practices either. Whichever candidate wins Florida will gain momentum until something else is brought to our attention by the media or the Democratic Party. We have to take these hits in stride. See how your candidate responds to criticism. See how your candidate handles pressure. One of the best performances I have seen to date was the exchange between John King and Newt Gingrich in South Carolina as John tried to throw Gingrich a curve ball by asking about a recent interview with his ex-wife. The response was priceless: Gingrich stood his ground confidently and did not show any sign of nervousness or backpedalling as he spoke. It is examples like these which you need to look for in your candidate

KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE

Remember what you and every other independent and Republican wants to do: beat Obama. Four more years of Obama will mean further borrowing without spending cuts, a smaller military force, full implementation of “Obama Care” and more government regulation of our lives. We are still a country of individuals who all have the opportunity to succeed. We cannot forget that and we must fight in order to keep it. If your candidate does not end up being the nominee to face Obama in November, know that any of the candidates would bury Obama in a debate; even Ron Paul.
