It was 70 years ago, on the same weekend that we celebrate the royal wedding in 2011, that the city of Liverpool, in England, at that time second most important city in England, was targeted by a German maniac, determined to force the British nation into abject surrender,  by sending his Luftwaffe to do what none before him had managed,Forcing the British people to their knees.

The Blitz was a time of unsung heroism, people helping those injured, selflessly, and those made homeless lost in the madness of intense bombardment. Great Britain is aptly named, incredibly brave people, not going down without a fight, whatever the odds, refusing to surrender their dignity, defying the faceless enemy with amazing fortitude.

The most intense bombardment, of towns and cities across England, the Blitz, began with London, bombed for 76 nights in succession, and by. the end of May 1941, more than 43,000 civilians had died through bombing, with over a million houses hit, right across the country.

Liverpool was especially badly hit, the whole experience  absolutely terrifying, for those hearing the distinctive whistling of the  high explosive bombs in the night sky, as they plummeted to earth, and yet people showed spirit of a sort nobody would have believed possible, with knowledge of what was to come, as the destruction began.

This horrific period of senseless destruction, undergone by so many, demonstrated levels of heroism defying all attempts at description. Especially, perhaps, one should remember the firefighters, many dying as they tried to save others. Liverpool, it is said, was ablaze, as must London have been during the Great Fire, from one end of the city to the other, on one side of the river Mersey.

This city suffered more bombing, and loss of life,  than any other outside of London, actually registering the highest death toll, per 100,000 population, with 4,000 killed.From May 1st to 8th, German planes dropped 870 tons, over seven nights running,  of bombs, and 100,000+ incendiaries, causing uncontrollable fires, yet the Liverpool Blitz remains for many the forgotten Blitz of WWII, not publicized to prevent the Germans learning how devastating they had been.

There can be little doubt that the sacrifices made by our forebears, during these terrible years, gave us the security we all know today, and that  which they gave, on our behalf. can never be repaid. An entire generation, truly selfless people determined to secure a peaceful future, for those who would follow, gave all of us a priceless gift of ultimate sacrifice.

An awful scar on history, the Liverpool Blitz, which happened with such devastating consequences 70 years ago, is memorable more for the courage of those who lived through it than the horrendous damage it caused. The spirit of the Liverpudlian population was sorely tested, but remains unbroken to this day, something of which they are justly proud.

My eyes cannot be taken off Egypt’s current disastrous violent, events plaguing the world mind on who is next in this line of anarchy?  The Cairo was the least on my mind was the previous moment, cause due to the current contingencies in my educational career, I have only thought of nothing to explore the inner psych areas of mind my to stop the dyslexia.  Fair amounts of Gin-an tonic relive the tension from today countless distractions that do nothing but consume the inner parts of your brains most active thinking parts.  Wasted on listening to the foul shouts of foul play, and mumble garbled chitty chat the African boys would exert from their 10 minute pot period break from classes.

THAT COCKSUCKER!  Palin is on the Fox news network as usual.  Giving random seminars on good-old corporatist republicans such as Ronald Reagan, Bush senior, and most of the the shilling of bullshit that Reagan cut deficits.  Apparently Ms Plain cant remember far back enough to when Regan financed the 600 ship navy, federalized militias, and gave a truck load of foreign aid to the Mujaheddin Osama Bin Laden.  But then again the point is valid that Former president Clinton cut enough on the budget to buy a government mahogany desk.  To make an impact on the 1990s budget was cutting billions, but for 2011 you need to think in the trillions due to hyperinflation levels.  Another joke about his woman was her public lambasting of actions taken by the Federal Reserve to inject QE2, into the economy.  For that woman’s career in budgeting while Alaskan governor, a US presidential running mate, she would by her own campaign promises would sink the balance sheets into deep red ink when she speaks.  Because inevitably it doesn’t matter how we get to bankruptcy, but what and who caused that?  Obama’s as well as Mr McCain’s budget numbers have no significant differences in yearly deficits, or total amount of debt accumulated during a term of political office.

The feminist nor the nigger solved the problem, but the old white man(George W. Bush)didn’t solve it either.  But he didn’t approach a trillion dollar deficit per year.  And the funny thing is Obama’s democratic controlled congress that was the main center stream of the attack for using a phrase we all thank the left for.  Blame Bush, not us for this godforsaken mess that will never be solved in a 4 year period.  If god wills that Republicans take control we will all perspire under huge budget increases in the military establishment.  As opposed to the democratic way, they spend the same amount, but they’d put it into studying a breakthrough work of Science!  THE STUDYING OF TIGER SEMEN!  Though some more paramount illuminates on the curious horizon on my future endeavors.  What happens when our allies and dummy corporations stop acquiring US treasuries as to not just improve the bond market, but keep the government’s heart beating for another day.  Or when the conservative knights of old violently crush any of the new proposals of heightening the monstrosity of a debt ceiling this country has.  

Are these random paragraphs of past, present, and future personal and world events from a psychotic troubled minded individual?!  Oh here we go!  Afghanistan is back on the news as usual, and the typical sentimental war rhetoric is being pushed over the limitless boundaries that are making Private first classes look like morderndayCaptain Americas.  How can the family members of a 150,000 active service members not engage in ghandi like protest acts like the old Vietnam war protesters use to do?  Because we believe people like Obama? Or the change he promised?  But we didn’t hold the same belief values for Bush after the first year of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.  But it’s been for 2 1/2 years later and there is still reported signs of bombing, mauling, sniper fire, and cruel barbarous treatment of captured American soldiers is happening in both still Iraq and Afghanistan.  Hypocrisy is the core element of this war being able to continue without a mere whimper, a sigh, or a not even a tear on camera is displayed to mainstream America.  You can give all your thanks to that of Fox news, CNN, HLN, BBC, MSNBC, but out of these profiteers of exposing the innocent who have shed blood for their stories, only one news network can stand out of them.  That is Russia today.  

Now entering the sacred trailer of literary cognitive development came school, flocks of societies degenerates, and rejects.  Noisy vibrations of restless tensions and coughing is a feeling felt around this room.  Where does the soul find solace in a time of total corruption?  Can we hide from this?  Pretend it’s not there?  Or perhaps over indulge to numb the ill feelings of contentment, and push through the inner imagination of the mind to subdue from what the eyes have mistakenly seen.  For thus the divine, even beautiful, remarkable elements of life give bitter grief to man.  And out of this chaos and era of deep disillusion of carrying on the average duties of an American teenager, I begin to think of the following randomly like an anomaly.  Why was the 60’s suburban such an activist period, and come to reform more than any other decade has done.  Why have old unionized companies like ford, lost their honor and loyalty to their workers?  Or how did we loose the patriotic spirit of country and war of the early 1940s?  How was the Congress acted so strongly on their own convictions for enactment instead of their own constituents the American people?  Where was the place and time that changed the feelings of events such as these?

As obscure as this following question sounds, it will decide who has executive action in Americas three vices.  Mercantilism, Imperialism, and unfettered surreal mobocracy or a nicer word would be Democracy.  Who would you like to vote for the presidency? The radical christian? Or the radical evolutionist?  Will it be Nixon or Hubert?  Lucifer or his son?  But the secret to control the equilibrium of a poor or middle class American is derived from the origin of it’s money, its supply, and the substance of what the peoples medium of exchange is made out of.  God will triumph over his former favorite angel Lucifer, and so will the market fundamentals of gold and silver backed currencies will rid the peoples mind of what a farce a paper based money is.  For anyone reading this, do you feel troubled at all my what I am saying?!

It’s early dawn, the game was long over, the Packers won triumphantly on Super Bowl Sunday, thus giving the sham ticket to their adversaries, the Steelers.  Though the trifling complexities of football weren’t clinging to my dearest of thoughts today.  Oh no, the future of my professional fascist career in some sort of low paying white collar job awaits me, it awaits us all!  If there still are jobs, if there’s even a economy, if there’s still countries or maybe even a world!  Unpredictability is the best asset government has to sway their people to their putrid candy gram causes.  

The exterior of my jacket reeks of Atom 9, and left over butts of of Newport reds, with a hint of Yuenlang beer after taste.  These are from nights of constant vigilant periods of reflection, paranoia, doubt, and a shadow of constant complexity.  Watching the Super Bowl spot of Captain America impressed me immensely though by the Captain America TV spot that demonstrated the precise meanings of, fierce, menacing, and enticing vigor of up and coming actor Chris Evans as the Mr Steve Rogers(Captain America) battling against his classic rival actor Hugo Weaving or a.k.a Red Skull.  Uh, I’m exhausted, I’m addicted to coffee, caffeine, full flavor cigarettes, 24/online gaming, writing random current events articles, reading two non-fiction books an one fiction book, napping, mp3 music adding, and a chance to break out and yell”IS EVERYONE OUT OF THEIR MINDS”!.  How did I come to exist as Charlie Kaufman wondered to himself.  Where will I be? Who will I be? And what will I do for a living? I wish I could work in politics again, like I once did for the Rick Scott Campaign office.  I would love nothing more than to spearhead the new governors budget plans he recently laid out for Florida.  Will we see it? Or will we not?

My plans after today’s resting classes, I will give a polite call to Republican party headquarters, record of my honorable hard working vigilance as a intern on the campaign trail is obvious.  At least I hope they accept that the dearest of my personal convictions will earn me my pin strips for another round of bashing the vestige liberals and liberalism along with it.  Though as they say oftentimes, looks can be deceiving consistently, and as long as you play your abound to their rules.  Eureka I got it!  Quit smoking on the weekdays, finish my 2 non-fiction books by the end of the month, write more, see Drive Angry 3D, and earn my GED along with a certificate in welding by summertime 2011.  FLASHBACK!  Why is America in a war every 20 years?  Americas aristocracy hypocrisy originates from WW2?  And did the FBI blackmail a congressman to vote against the Clinton impeachment? 

Act 3:  Food for your thoughts:  For now I shall remain at peace with the current elements of my situation.  I shall try to do the right thing, whether it determines failure or success, but a mark of resistance will be left there.  Cause after all, what else are they gonna say but “at least the guy had the guts to try”.  For out of a chaotic world the helpless will need martyrs before the hero’s come.

Act 4:  Tuesday

It’s freakishly cold, though most of everyone in the cafeteria are showing complacent smiles, teens and adults, they all seem to know something.  Perhaps out of a gesture of pride, their teasing me, could they have discovered the undisclosed location of the Klotman diamond?  Oh man, Jesus, that California Super Skunk contained the right amount of herbs, vitamins, nutrient, and definitely gave a low rate of interest for acquiring a period of long and deep sleeping period of his life.  Whatever legal criticism invokes the nature surrounding the illegal herb I simply couldn’t care.  But from 1st stage breast cancer, arthritis patients, diabetics, aids victims, all the jaw dropping examples of what the plant has done.  Also the detrimental elements of it, such as the publicity, as it’s been hugely surrounded by criminals as a number one choice of drug to sell on the consumer market, the health factors of weed have been exaggerated and has not been categorized as a cause of death, and the mental damage that they say inflicts are all outright lies!  But beyond that the environment created by it gave unconditional surrender, to let our heroic red and white blood cells have complete jurisdiction over the hidden areas of your colon, to monitor and eliminate bandit bacteria and viral terrorist.  As good Mr. Cheney would say”We do not negotiate with terrorists”.  

They say sometimes you become a possession of your possessions, or you control the bottle the bottle doesn’t control you.  The more you burrow into your thoughts, feelings, and time into what you overindulge on, you’ll slowly see yourself in the third person becoming that thing your addicted to.  My chest feels like a plant trying to stick it’s head above grass, while covered to the brim in thick deep molasses.  I guess your already thinking some sad tale of an addict is being shoveled down our throats to draft new drug legislation.  No my friend, addiction reaches further into man than did Paris arrow reached into Achilles heel, and to some disdaining effect or another it’s a persons opposite being exposed in the open.  Good or evil though?  Who knows.  All that seems clear is bent underneath, and everything that seems bent is simply in a different dialect that anyone can learn.  FLASH!  She’s an image of a, devotion, giving, loving, caring, and a person that creates a counter balance in your soul.  She’ll make you stutter, relax, and even you colder than hell or hotter than heaven itself.  Cause in my experience, girls exert personalities of thorn bushes, and women project charisma’s made out of barbed wire fences.  Then the notions of hysteria, ego, and doubt rebound oblivious thoughts of what the world is up to or will be plotting soon.  When will Zsa Zsa die?  Why do people think the Moon landing is fake?  Will there ever be a protected border to protect what White indigenous population we have left?  

Act 5: Wednesday 

The air is seemingly foul, I detect a hint of over used hair grease product, and oddly enough a moist scent of sewage I accidentally step into the other night.  Silver!  It was up, Like Timothy Leary coming back to concerts after his long period of unsustainable rehab.  My favorite investment commodity paved a weekend guaranteed to give me a relaxing, two whole nights of beneficent grass, playing Halo Reach, give me new ideas for books, sleep in on the weekends, and contemplate whether I should sign up for welding.

Indubitably my thoughts as well as body action respond to immediately yes.  Yes I will get my GED, yes I will do welding for a trade, and when I achieve both, I shall either find work in another state or Australia.  My sense of hate grows longer, hotter, and deeper for all the people in my TABE classes as well as the nature of a substance.  I think the question is would I like to breath the air of life again?  I say yes, Oh and again?  Where do I see myself in 5 years from now?  FLASHBACK:  Was the war between the states over slavery or economic stagnation?  Why did James Earl Ray kill MLK?  Why did Nazi Germany break their Pact with the Soviet Union?

Act 6: My chest feels better, moves and sways around easy in the simple body movements.  Expansion of the chest about at 1/2 inch, and my minds a bit quicker and precise.  Dear god, the fascist news network Fox declares a 35% military foreclosure rate compared to the 25% civilian foreclosures.  Now they just changed their supposdely news breaking headlines to say, why doesn;t the president creates more jobs to quell the unemployment rate, and to step the pace of the recovery up?  Where in what excerpt, parapgraph, sentence, word, or section in the constitution or bill or rights that gives the commander in chief the authority and duty to tend to those matters?  NOWHERE!  

He’s a mere symbolic type chereleader that is a popular trend, he’s a celebrity, and what Obama has come to represent is the idol contenstant that won cause of his looks not his voice.  Justified is back on television!  Paul Ryan the new head of the senate budget committee(a republicanknight)proposes the FED hike interest rates to quell deficits, inflation, and future bubbles similar to the South China sea bubble or even worse the Dutch toolip bubble.  Couldn’t agree more but let the free market decide them on mortgages, bank loans, and savings accounts.  Due to the fact they(the market place)does better in due dilligence in market research, hiring, determinig the supply demand ratio, and determining the floating price percentage of unbacked paper currencies.  

Todays forecast is bleaker than I’ve ever seen in a long time.  Consistent Canadian front winds from the north, rain storms that hit Cuba and then sounds anf the foaces of complete sickness lay among the faces of these mere mortals.  I confront it day in and day out.  God!  Women today in this country me disgusted to live amongst them.  The girls are hormonal whores of socities pop culture, the women are ego centric materialistic house wives that follow their lifestyles by home cook magaines and fine arts novels.  That describes American girls and women, and I absolutely hate every inch of what they’ve come to stand for.  Coca Cola, fast food, big cars, porn, theme parks, cheap clothes, guns, cigarettes, beer, cheap lawyers, and socialized medicene. 

When will the stars align tonight he wondered, will I be along without a dwindling thought of a womans touch, and then he thought death not the bottle was the final solution.  He then thought with reasoning, who will win in Egypt?  Will China open it’s doors to US made goods?  Why are we really in Afghanistan?  What are we still doing in Iraq?  Is it going to be, God bless America or the North American Union?  Was J Edgar Hoover gay?  Will former Soviet Union officials be prosecuted for crimes against humanity by the UN council.  

Then the man thinking these thoughts exclaimed the following to the helpless audience of rats “Stephen Hawking is inept as he is incompetent in predicting the future encounter with Alien beings”.

The sacrifise is a virtue that can kill instantly when not accepted.  When will the economic crisis end, I wondered momentarly I thought?  I followed the rout causes of the diabolice subject that made many economists change their profession to a different psedou science, either, sociology, or pschology.  Relax I thought, breath in an out, and only think of the day you fucken die!  If this wretched cold front from Canada does not end soon.  Then we shall all truly perish in a winter similar to the New Guniea volcanic eruption.  Reason for this mini ice age was due in part to, the amount of smoke, ash, chemicals, were carried in violent winds towards the United States traveling far east.  But whatever the burden, wahtever the sacrifise that must be made, to ensure the survival and success of liberty, John Kennedy.  Donald Trump made heads turn like owls when he proposed running as a conservative canidate for US president.  And insulting the integrity and honorable work of the heroic Ron Paul.  Who fought incenstly to subdue Fed powers over the US economy, interest rates, and the money supply.  NOTE:  I am a advent follower of the CSPAN coverage of Ron Pauls House Finance subcommittee.  Cause we the people have truly lost all sense of our morality, dignity, patriotism, and our sense of consistency and reliability. 

In the end, where do we all end up or at?  In a way I see myself looking back, on a myriad of things in my life as a flashback.  Something has left me, like a worm sliding out of the crack of my pocket, and with it, all the motivation, pride, and feeling of self-righteousness.  I believe I shall never find what is missing from me, but only to conduct the futile search of what I had done that defined me.  I wish I was as Passionate about about everytype of academic(besides history)As I was about the cheapo b-movie flick Gettysburg made in 1993.  What at age 9 made me so enthusiastic and excited to hear or find out a fact on the civil war?  Cause here were all deadbeats by some mere misfortune or simple conisidence.  And by that freak incident came out the destitutes, the debtors, degenerates, and they all lament the same fact of, why were they born at all?  I think today is a bad day for me but hey, i got something 90 more days here, right?  NOW!  I wish President Obama would come out an denounce multiculturalism like Prime Minister David Cameron or Chanellor Angela Merkel.  Cause from my clear observations of this class behavior.  It seems to stem fron weakness in the area of sexual desire and a masculinity problem.  Maybe that’ll only happen if the fucken Federal governments cuts their quote”nessacary spending”with the exact words on the TV screen displaying entitlement spending.  But as Thomas Paine said”these are the times that try men souls”.  Inded is was for all of my teenage years, and I’m sure the times to come after that.

The soothing after taste of caramel-choclate covered coffee beans, the bur you belched is of dry hot fresh coffee, the sickening mad rush of the morning cigarette, followed by an after noon jerk off session, and eat whatever the fuck looks good in the frige.  Speartmint gum, columbia dark coffee, tiny Hershy kisses, take a smell hit of freshly packed hi-meds marjuanna in the baggie, and a morning newport red to get into the zone, but also an adrenniale shot to stay awake.  I’ve never understood the different between the recreational an habitual drug user, but I could be going from bad(tons of pot)to something worse(cocaine and meth)and truly quit life from there.  Am I worried about it?  Hah!  Cause with the amount of recorrection time the economy has to go through.  Mom and dad are going to have me stay, for cannot move, leave each other, or start our own lives.  If we even remotely tried, we would die in the face of ensurmontable peril.  So I think it will be a next chill three years spoon-feeding off of, part time teacher checks, social security checks, and revenue from maturing penny stocks.  Plus the whole damn-family will still be together right?  Other than that, It’ll be a turbulent time of confusion, nonsense, and ultimate chaos following the recent collapse and rise of nations in the African region.  Most notably Tunisa and Egypt hopefully soon followed by the United States of America.

For middle class Americans, it wont be about what we cant make money off of, or what kind of new career we can profit off of, but what we can do to revolutionize on the materials we already posses to cut all costs.  Both time and money in the short as well as the long term.  The poor will vanish into the oblivious black hole of narcotics, prostitution, and peaceful non-violent victim offenses.  The energy, time, and money into that area of the black market will set as an intersection(and I mean the USA)for brockering pirated merchandise and drugs from Asian Coco plants, to America brokers, and ship it to the dealers in Europes wild west, the eastern part.

Contrary to former belief that Ronald Regan gave a decade of prosperity, or that the republican GOP was repealing health care, and not to mention the contract of America in 1992 sponsored by Newt Gingrich to eliminate pork barrel spending an cut the deficit is all false.  Although when it comes to telling who is on(so called sides)the only difference is choosing bad and worse.  Compared to Bush in his entire 8years he vetoed one spending bill on an average of running a billion dollar year deficit.  As opposed to the current President Obama who’s running it up to 2trillion dollar high, and making the total US national debt outweigh the countries GDP.  The fate of many peoples drama, relationships, and friendships that will be entailed.  Will be wiped away like a monsterous flooding of an entire civilization.  And all we can do is keep the lie alive, make due with the same menial scraps, and only work to do what is nessacary to survive.  The contract with America of 1992 and the Promise of 2010 wreak the very ideal of the constitution, and portrays the makers of that bill look like that they never obeyed their oath, and so they needed some new legislation.

It’s an early friday morning, and the minds of my fellow students look like their all ODEing from to much liquid caffine.  Tensions are hidden but rising slowly assuradly amongst us.  For the long prolonging hours of class on a cold foggy friday.  I think its just everyones fear of dropping out again over frusteration, failing the TABE a second time, fourth time, and wondering why in the sam hell why they can’t seem to pass.  Though rumor abouds that taking the different order of the previous order you did, and the math one that got everyone on edge is multiple choice.  These elements of the test do not worry or trouble me in confidence, or encinuate any kind of doubt in my mind.  When I recieve all three TABE certificates, I shall intiate operation Job hunting, get george to send more old Alaska stuff down to me to sell on the internet, save up, investment in silver and raw rice, buy two guns, plenty of ammo, gold bullion, some books, and travel info backwards and forewards on the nation of Iceland.  

Deep complacent thoughts roam the outer barriers of my mind.  Detecting all locations of free and dubious radicals that I shall unit in the spirit of solidarity to form an idea.  At what age do we really care about our future productivity?  I see the same facial expressions from young teenagers to almost senior adults.  Its soft, depressed, a fuckede up jig-saw puzzle, or they simply are an unlucky dude or gal who couldn’t fit into the conformist/conservative steretype.  They couldnt most likely due to the body features or personal attributes they didnt have, but to capitalize off it to promot their so-called do good christian causes.  Hell that about described George W Bush’s career in politics.

I’m wondering how the next few hours of this coffee laden sunshine morning will go.  Will I see my TABE scores today?  So much is held in the balance of knowing, the TABE scores.  I tink though I shall leave my club morepheous for a while, and invite friends to the 4-days of solitude and peace in my house for green and a little tidings of cold beer.  I shall invite Jason, zach, and maybe even willie to drink or smoke back the house, then go see Drive Angry 3D, and from there enjoy some of those days alone at the house in tranquility.  So now, here, in a week, so much of my fate that will define me for years will be about to be decided.  By TABE results, the sarasota venture, and the impact for many years on my psyche.  GREAT SCOTT!  I went two grades levels ahead, I have a 6.1 score in math, and I’ll be receiving a certificate of recongnition.  I shall celebrate this weekend with zach and jason over at the house in excessive consumption of every drug know to man.  We need a srong liquor drink, 20 sack of weed, two packs of newport reds, and three movie tickets.  And of course a little money set to the side for something called THE MUNCHIES!  DUM DUM DUM!!!  If I could get a math certificate I save sure as hell be able to achieve the language and reading equivalent. 

Strange things are happening everywhere I turn each day.  Qaddafi’s massacring his people, US labor protests still rage, John Edwards is Subpoena, Somalian Pirates butchering seniors, inflation goes over the double digits zone, and Afghanistan intensifying with over a 100 troop deaths a month!  A baby witch doctor/former abortion clinic worker set up his own shop to perform the foul dirty deed illegally in underground.  Meanwhile Federal drug enforcement officers are coming under persistent life to death fights, as a ICE officer was brutally shot and ambushed by the two bits thugs of the local cartels.  These examples only spell one-word for society again is, REVOLUTION!  Take the rug right from out of their feet and slip under a better one. Early dawn, friday, it’s rather moist out with a scent of liquid leaking from a bad car radiator.  Today I shall depart from school at 2pm, and from there go to job-training at the Broken Egg Cafe.  I’m not nervous, oh no, excited and open to any position they will offer me.  I feel confident, not scared in messing up anymore, all I ask is I wanna try that again.  Whether it be food runner, server, kitchen duty, or bus boy I shall for-fill my role in the line of food.

Please do not get me wrong here, because I love the way that I can get libraries worth of information, on any damn thing I choose to look up, just by posing a question on a search-engine. Truly, for any writer, a wondous resource, and invaluable fot accuracy of facts in non-fiction pieces, but think about the wider picture, just for a few moments.  Not so very long ago, less than a single generation, large parts of the world were controlled by despotic rulers, who kept thier subjects firmly under control.

Look at the middle-east now, a genuine powder-keg of repressed fury, hatred and violence that always was ‘on the brink’, until two weeks ago, when the world social networking phenomena finally caught up with the ordinary citizens there, waking them up to a world in which thier opinion COULD actually count for something, if only they were prepared to voice thier feelings, in sufficient numbers. Mahatma Ghandi was reborn, or at least his dogma, as the Egyptian people set about proving, yet again, that passive(mostly) rebellion can achieve cherished ambitions.

People power, glorious and free, erupted through the Egyptian nation like a tidal wave, sweeping aside a dictator who thought himself invincible, until army. police and other former repressors simply refused to do his bidding anymore, sharing the irresistable mood of the people, not wanting to turn on them, but instead joining thier ranks. A fairytale coming true, and democracy at last finding a way to establish itself in that part of the world, but was it really that whimsical?

Look now at the terrible scenes in Lbya, where the undoubtedly insanr Gaddafi, refusing to surrender his 40 year grip on absolute power, is threatening to kill every single person who opposes him, in thier brand new uprising. It seems, however, that sections of the army and police, in the east of the country, have deserted him, akin to thier Egyptian brothers, so the country is set, it seems, for a bloodbath, and we in the west will tut,tut, and shake our heads, but no more than that.

IN Bahrain, the authorities are being equally ruthless, and many of the leaders of middle-east states are now fearful of the volcanic upwlling of feeling that is surging through the ordinary people there. Quite simply, they have had enough of never being listened to, or, as they see it, valued, and so they mean to change things, by taking up the flag of free speech and democracy, and refusing to put it down again, even on pain of death.

It is with a horrid, creeping sensation of foreboding and dread, that we must watch as events unfold, for we are powerless to do anything at all, either to help or prevent this tide of revolution. There has, for far too long, been an old order occupying the seats of power, and perhaps the time has finally arrived for the oredinary inhabitants of these places to stand up and be counted, as they are doing in thier millions. We might be justified in fearing for them, and the stability of the whole region, but we should applaud thier bravery, and wish them well.

That was Friday to be exact and I was asked to have my medical examination on the next day. I have to accomplish all the needed requirements for short period of time. The position is so urgent and in need. They would want me to report in soonest desirable time possible. Imagine, second day of the following week?

It was 27th of February 2007 and it coincides with the departing schedule of my elder brother. Of course, I want to accompany him. But, how could I? Suddenly, there was a blessing in disguise. Here it goes; I reported earlier and asked for the result of my medical exams. The specialist asked me to undergo another x-ray examination. This is because suspicious linings on my bones were detected. I was a little scared that time, but I considered it as a “lucky thing”, for I will be able to accompany my brother as he makes way for Taiwan.

As projected, it was a false alarm. I worked in IPI the following week, 6th of March 2007 to be exact. I was frightened then, but as always trapped with oozing confidence. Perhaps, everybody feels the same way too.

Endorsement follows after week-long trainings. Successful pass on the “schooling” makes me feel intuitive, as if I was arrowed by thoughts of what to expect in IPI. I was flabbergasted when I saw the cleanliness of the surroundings. However, frankly speaking, I was disappointed with IPI premises. There were too many streets to memorize. It’s as if I need to solve a puzzle to go from one place to another.

I was sanctioned then to Quality Assurance department as an SPC-DMS Line Engineer. I was introduced to different IPI people and taught of IPI rules and obligations. Most importantly, my job designation and its corresponding description were thoroughly discussed.

Staying here for 1 ½ year is indeed a remarkable one. I was able to impose series of improvement activities. These innovations are beneficial not only to QA department, but to entire IPI community as a whole. Among these improvement activities are Automated OT, Leave & Change Shift Monitoring and Automated Attendance Monitoring that bagged Bronze and Copper awards respectively. In addition, I was a part of “New Reflow Jig Defect Free Condition for Warpage Improvement” of QA Section; it was a winning entry in TPM Convention 2007. I created macro program for such monitoring. I even contributed in TPM’s Quarter Flash and now compositions for HR Edge.

In all these efforts, I feel certain that no recognition is justly given. Each of us here in IPI has individual strengths and expertise. Indeed, IPI employees are multi-tasking. They worked far beyond their signed duties and responsibilities.

“3 versus 1000” is what I feel working in IPI. It’s as if I am“three” working for those one thousand tasks. Still, many of us preferred to take things as challenging endeavors. Thinking Employee Involvement and Empowerment as the thrust IPI stands for, as it hones IPI employees for the challenges in business world, as it molds them to create a leader within themselves.

“The valley” has been known for its nightclubs, strip bars, adult stores and the hangout for rebellious teens. It is also one of Brisbane’s most dangerous suburbs with the highest deaths rates due to drink drivers, drug dealing and night clubbers.

Between 2001 and 2005 there were 101 pedestrian casualties in the suburb, including two deaths.
The majority of accidents occurred at night as drunken revellers spilled on to the streets from the many bars and nightclubs in the area.

This area needs special attention, as more adult stores open more rebellious teenagers are piling in.
