Hugh mercer is remembered as an American Brigadier General and died of the wounds he received during the battle of Princeton in 1777. He had been bayoneted seven times and left for dead, he survived for nine days before succumbing to those wounds.

The more men in a battle, the more assured victory is. But in this case however, that gets turned around.
