Why is this good or why is this bad? You can get answers about it.

Head and Tail games are all over the internet

They offer a huge earn if you win.
I saw 210%-300%. That means if you bet $2 you can win $4.2-$6. It’s better, than the average 200%.

They use LibertyReserve, an online bank. LibertyReserve is very safe.
There is no sending fee, just receiving, it’s often $0.01.

They offer Referral comission. It’s often 10%-20%. I saw a page with 40% but I don’t know that’s true or not.
So, if you refer somebody to play. You will get his/her bet’s 20% in this situation (image). So if he/she bets $1, you will get $0.2 to your LibertyReserve, instantly. They can win or lose, you will get that money.

Jackpot

A page says: “If you win and last 2 digit of your batch are the same as the second one you’ll win JACKPOT”
For this, you have to bet at least $4.
There is always a Batch number which is generated by LibertyReserve and if you’re lucky, you can win that jackpot too.

It’s like red and black game in roulette but I think you have more chance in this game and here you can win more money. (210%-300%)

Gambling is wagering money or other valuables on the outcome of a game or other event. It has existed since ancient times. For example, there is evidence that dice games were played in ancient India, China, Egypt, Greece, and the Roman Empire.

Gambling in the United States

Horse racing was popular in colonial America. In the mid-1800’s, professional card players plied their trade in the gambling halls of the West and on steamships traveling the Mississippi River. And, just as today, states used lotteries to raise revenue. (In a lottery, players bet that a group of numbers they have chosen will match several or all the winning numbers chosen in a random drawing.)

In 1887 the invention of the slot machine revolutionized gambling. Players deposited coins in the machine and pulled a handle to set it in motion. They either won or lost money depending on the symbols that appeared on the machine. With slot machines, people could wager without having the skills needed to succeed at playing cards or betting on horses. But gambling was considered a vice by many, especially religious groups. So it was made illegal in every state by 1910.

In 1931, in response to revenue shortages during the Great Depression, Nevada became the first state to legalize casino gambling. Several states had approved horse racing by 1935. In 1941 the first “modern” casino opened in the town of Las Vegas, Nevada. Called El Rancho Las Vegas, it was located on a highway now famous as “The Strip.” El Rancho Las Vegas offered slot machines, gaming tables, rooms to rent, dining, and entertainment. This is basically the same mix offered by today’s casinos.

In 1963, New Hampshire established the first legal state lottery in 70 years. State lotteries eventually spread throughout most of the country. In the 1970’s a few states legalized off-track betting (OTB). OTB offers gamblers the convenience of betting on races without being at the track. In 1976, New Jersey emerged as the second state to permit casino gambling, which became centered in Atlantic City.

Image via Wikipedia

The next major stage in casino gambling occurred in 1988, when American Indian casinos became legal. This was the result of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (1988) and subsequent court decisions. In 1992, the tiny Mashantucket Pequot Indian nation opened one of the most successful casinos. It is called Foxwoods and is located in Ledyard, Connecticut. Others followed, on and off Indian reservations, throughout the United States.

In the 1990’s some states also began authorizing casino gambling on riverboats along the Mississippi River. The 1990 Mississippi Gaming Control Act allowed casino gambling in counties along the Mississippi River and Gulf Coasts. But local voters had to approve. By 2008, there were 29 such properties in those areas in Mississippi, drawing millions of visitors. Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, and Missouri also have authorized riverboat gambling.

Most legal gambling operations in the United States are run for profit by corporations or state governments. But there is also charitable gambling, such as that used by churches to raise money for good causes. Examples of games used by charities include bingo and raffles. Bingo is a numbers-based game of chance played for prizes. In a raffle, players buy tickets for a chance to win a prize.

Online Gambling

Yet another type of gambling took hold in the 1990’s and 2000’s. The first online casino began operating in August 1995. By 2007 more than 400 companies around the world were operating over 2,000 Web sites. The sites offer wagering on sports, casino games, lotteries, and bingo. In 2006 an estimated 14 to 20 million people gambled nearly $15 billion at these sites. This included 4 million Americans.

A host of Asian, European, and Latin American countries have legalized Internet gambling.

Growth of Gambling

Image via Wikipedia

Gambling in the United States has grown largely because many Americans have come to accept it as a legitimate way to have fun and be entertained. Some form of legalized gambling is now available in the District of Columbia and all U.S. states except Hawaii and Utah. In most states, the minimum legal age for gambling is 21. But in some states it is 18. Las Vegas, Nevada, is the world’s most important gaming center. It is also the most visited tourist destination in the United States. In 2008 Las Vegas drew more than 50 million domestic and foreign visitors. They spent more than $11 billion at the gaming tables and slot machines.

Spending on casino and charitable gambling and on lotteries and wagers on racing jumped from about $8 billion in 1982 to over $92 billion in 2007. Some 25 percent of U.S. households visited a casino at least once.

Political and Social Issues

The expansion of gambling is an important political issue in the United States. In 1999 a national commission found problem gambling to be one of the most important negative aspects of the spread of gambling. Problem gamblers tend to need to bet more money more frequently and find it difficult to stop. They also continue to gamble even when it results in negative consequences, such as bankruptcy. Some 6 to 9 million Americans are thought to be problem gamblers.

Of particular concern to lawmakers is gambling by young people. This is because they are even more likely than adults to become problem gamblers. Some 600,000 young people aged 14 to 22 are reported to gamble online each week. In 2006, the U.S. government intensified its efforts to prohibit online gambling, including preventing online gamblers from using credit cards.

The gambling was almost always a problem to deal with in term of loosing money and addiction to people that's doing it. Only educating people know their limits can deal with the online gambling problems.

An important part of our society is defined by a long time race between the authorities that want to keep one order of things and the people that desire a different way to do thing around here (wherever „here” is over the world). I prefer to call it „race” instead of „battle” because, even if it have elements of both, the first ones that get the desired results and/or the solution of their always changing problems usually wins. I have no intention to list all the aspects of this race/battle, but online gambling is one of them and it’s the subject of this article.

As you may already know the issue is not being settled around the world in the same way: different countries has different solutions to the same or similar problems, as the considered fit to their specific needs. As far as I know the gambling (no matter it’s offline or online gambling) have never been completely legalized in the world. It is always kept under microscope by different groups inside the governments and they have all the reason: the huge quantities of money that are being moved through the system are tempting for everyone.

Tell me, when you bet money using online gambling and you win several times in a row you like it, right? How much? Enough that you put your all money into the system hoping you will get a huge fortune? There is no doubt that gambling (in any varieties) is a dangerous and addictive habit – if you think you get it right actually it’s getting you. One moment or another you will lose, that’s for sure. You can not beat the statistics, no matter how much you try. If you lose everything you have (a lot of people already did it) you will surely wish that you will never have heard about the online gambling and wish it completely outside the law and all the people dealing that punished. Don’t take it personally, I wasn’t referring to you personally – that’s the human nature and it applies to all of us.

Some people might say there are a lot of reasons to get online gambling legalized. They are almost always working for the gambling industry – they want a piece of the cake and they would do everything to get a bigger piece. They might say that if the authorities completely legalize the online gambling it will become a legitimate industry and it will bring money to the state through tax revenues. That’s true, but it might be in the expense of the citizens, and that is never good. One other reason is that you can treat easier the addiction, but that’s a tricky problem. Finally they might say that if you can not completely beat it you must join it. Netherlands did something similar when the authorities over there legalized some of the easy drugs, but there is nothing easy about online gambling.

From my point the view, only the education can fully ease the life of online gamblers. The laws are tools to direct or punish uneducated people. You can try to get online gambling legalized, but it’s a lost battle. Try to educate people to know their limits if you want the problems completely disappeared.

Here are twenty things that will make your wife very upset.

Did you ever make your wife upset with you? Aren’t you sorry that you did? Here are twenty things that will make your wife very upset:

1. You forget to remind her about her doctor’s appointment. The appointment is in one hour.

2. You spill coffee on the freshly cleaned carpet.

3. You start off a conversation by saying how sorry you are. You then tell your wife to prepare for the worst.

4. You spill beer on the freshly cleaned carpet.

5. You walk with muddy shoes on the freshly cleaned carpet.

6. Stay off the freshly cleaned carpet!

7. You admit that you are having an affair. You tell your wife that you are only cheating on her for the cheap sex. You then tell your wife that you love her, and prepare to duck when she throws the vase at your head.

8. You give your wife a kiss while you still have a horrible cold.

9. You tell your wife that she looks like the Goodyear Blimp.

10. You tell your wife that having sex with her is about as enjoyable as having a root canal.

11. You spend the college money that you saved for your daughter on gambling. You lose all the money in one night.

12. You buy a new car that you can’t afford, and immediately wreck it in an accident.

13. You promise your wife that you’ll pick up her dress at the dry cleaning. You only remember to go to the dry cleaners when the shop is closed.

14. You forget to pay the bills on your credit cards. Not only is your credit rating lowered, but the interest rates on your past due bills is sky high.

15. You pick your nose during the play.

16. You sing loudly during the play and disturb the audience.

The government of Ontario is creating an online gambling site, in order to reduce taxes.

The government of Ontario is proposing to launch an official internet gambling and gaming site. It is their goal to start launching the online gaming site by next year. Currently, OLG earns $1.9 billion annually in revenue, and the new website will boost it by an estimated $100 million. The Ontario government believes that the large amounts of gamblers will help reduce the burden on the province’s taxpayers. However, some people are questioning whether this is a good idea, as some people will become addicts. In response, OLG promises to put up measures that will help people control their addiction, such as online councilors, pop-up warning messages, and etc. Nevertheless, people are still questioning just how foolproof this really is.

The economic perils today have led some to the underbelly.

Today, times are tough across America. The official unemployment rate in our country is 8.6 percent but tons more are underemployed. Many are not working enough hours with meaningful wages and compensation to support families and themselves. What do some of these displaced, laid-off and underemployed do for money?

Today, many normal employment channels have dried up due to our porous economy which has driven some to society’s underbelly for income. Certainly very few in our cities have turned to highly illegal and harmful occupations – like drug trading, trafficking, extortion and thievery to survive. But, behind computer terminals and closed doors; at racetracks and casinos, other shadowy professions are prospering and multiplying. Case in point: A very close friend of mine got fed up with trying to scratch out a buck in the L.A. real estate industry five years ago and became a professional poker player. Instead of days consumed by calling on clients and customers with business cards in tow, my buddy opted to play high stakes cash and tournament poker games in Southern California, Las Vegas and felt tables beyond to try and earn a living. Countless others have followed suit, leaving professions with solid pay checks by choice or boot to cards, ponies and point spreads to swing a buck. The action in most of our nation’s casinos is alive and vibrant – day or night. Doors are mostly open 24/7. Because of antes, cuts, rakes, and bad luck flops and turns, most undoubtedly fail at their new found careers. Most I suspect end up in far worse shape than when they left mainstream America.

Today, in our cities and across our nation, many women, too, have become displaced by job loss or have struggled to find work in the first place. High divorce rates nationwide and separations from partners have also added to women’s struggles to make ends meet. No doubt, a small minority of them have turned to the shadows for incomes. Prostitution flourishes in the U.S. and it’s there for the taking at the flick of a mouse and phone call. But, it has become much more hidden than decades past. Solicitations in bar lounges and on urban street corners have largely been curbed in favor of cell phones, websites and traveling lap tops. Today’s technology has altered how the world’s oldest profession is promoted and solicited. Becoming a high priced hooker these days means going high-tech. For some struggling women today, this income alternative will not dry up – it’s recession proof. There are no professionally handed out pink slips, only rotating hands of a clock.

The problems with underbelly professions in society can be discussed legally and morally, certainly. But there are economic issues, too, which can’t be solved easily. Most of our state governments have huge billion dollar dripping red ink deficits. The recession has caused thousands of layoffs from payrolls, reduced commissions and has certainly had an effect on states’ income tax revenues. Those jobs lost or waned were in most cases properly accounted for and taxed. Past nationwide Borders employees received W2s and stated and attested to their professions on tax returns. So did countless other mainstream Americans who lost jobs. Don’t think for one moment today that the billions of dollars changing hands nationally in the shadows is properly accounted for and taxed. It’s a cash game, in safes and under mattresses, and out of reach from governments’ needy hands. And, when we go out for our morning strolls around several city blocks, we often wonder how the pretty lady several doors away with the red convertible Mercedes parked in the driveway and some of our other neighbors live so well.

                                                                  #

With the advancing of the age our brain begins to exhaust. Memory begins to deteriorate, the speed of our thinking slows down… That’s why it is a common practice for the doctors to recommend the deteriorating adults to solve crosswords and sudokus, as well as learning new languages and mnemonic techniques.

However a number of medical experts believe these methods to be not as effective as it is’ thought they are. Not very long ago an innovative team of researchers suggested a brand new method of renewing of the brain cells. They have discovered at the Yale University that during any game or competition the human brain is so deeply “absorbed” by the desire of winning that almost all brain areas tend to activate at their maximum.

The earlier notion was that this happens through the dopamine alone. However it has turned out that while winning or losing all brain areas react and respond in a way as if our life depends on it. And indeed, under certain circumstances and during playing games people react quite emotionally to their losses and wins. As a result brain cells simply wake up.

That’s why the scientists announced gambling as the most efficient supporter of the good memory and quick thinking.

Success and failure are part of the life. we must always be prepared for not so happy times in our lives. If they come all of a sudden may cause us lots of problems.

Fate

People love to win every thing, every game once they become addicted to win. May be they like to win only; they never want to loose any thing. That is human psychology and you cannot help it. However, this may be a painful habit as wining, losing is part of the life, and you will find it painful, if you do not get, used to loose too some times. That will keep you prepared, better for the tough times that life may have for you in its stock.

When you win, you want to win more, and when you loose, you want to recover. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with that and you should not mind it. Just one thing is there and that is addiction, as long as one is, not addicted every thing is fine.

I think we should just see it as fate. We have our own destiny. If it is not for us then it is not. We just have to trust the plan he has for us. We just have to be aware that what he has for us is something more that we can imagine.

He may give us what we wish for or not, but in the end, all that is happening to us is for the better. Yes, be joyful always. Just being alive and with a happy family is enough for us to be joyful. Its part of the game, so be joyful.

What’s The Matter With Our Indians?

“Never criticize someone else unless you walk a mile in his moccasins.”
- Lakota Sioux proverb

To begin, let’s examine the title.

Five hundred years after Christopher Columbus (Christophe Colomb, an Italian cartographer of some considerable renown) defrauded his Spanish sponsors into believing that he had discovered India–naming the inhabitants he found “Indians”–many people still call the aboriginal peoples of North America Indians. By the way, Columbus didn’t “discover” the Americas. Being a map maker, he had spoken on many occasions with Norse map makers who had been to North America many times with Norse fishermen who had been visiting the continent for hundreds of years. Thus began the great North American fraud, but more on that later.

The aboriginal people of North America sometimes call themselves Indians, but they aren’t serious about it. African Americans sometimes call themselves “niggahs” too, but as a people they don’t care for the moniker any more than the aboriginals like whites to call them Indians. “Indians” is a bad name given them by ignorant Europeans whose primary purpose in coming to North America was to steal and to conquer. They called it discovering, exploring, trading, but let’s use plain language here. They planned to take as much as possible and give as little as they could get away with. It was the European way of the time.

“Our” is wrong as well. What are called Native Americans in the USA and First Nations in Canada were never conquered, never defeated as a people. Of the hundreds of distinct tribal groups–at least the ones that were not slaughtered to extinction (Beothuk, the original “redskins” that lived in Newfoundland) or decimated as they tried to defend themselves in “Indian wars”–none were truly defeated. They didn’t have any concept of “owning” land, so they were prepared to share it with the newcomers. Since the newcomers themselves were not decimated by such delightful diseases as smallpox that the Europeans delivered, the white skins soon outnumbered the natives. As always, size (of population) matters.

So far as aboriginal peoples of North America are concerned, even today, they are Americans or Canadians only according to citizenship documents they may have needed for travel purposes. They consider themselves citizens of their own nations, as promised them in treaties written for them by English speaking lawyers, in English legalese, explained to them in simple but deceptive language they could understand. The English speakers had no leave to negotiate, so it was a “take it or leave it” situation. This matters because in most of these cultures no one forces another to say “No” to anything and it is considered very rude to be forced into saying “No” yourself by another person. The aboriginals agreed to treaties partly because their culture taught them to be agreeable, to not say “No” to someone who is offering something.

They were tricked into giving up “ownership” of their land (a concept they never had in their culture) by Europeans who promised them homes on land they would control (”reserved” land, thus called reserves or reservations) and rights to fishing and hunting on their traditions lands, free education and a stipend for each person from the Crown each year.

The aboriginals had no concept of “king.” They knew of a Creator that was active in their lives but never seen, so they assumed that the unseen King would also look after them as the Creator did. And, of course, keep promises made in writing.

What were the living conditions? A little perspective is in order here. After the Second World War, representatives of the (white) government of South Africa came to Canada to see how the Canadian government dealt with its “Indian problem.” Then they went home and, following the Canadian pattern, enacted Apartheid. Apartheid was banned in South African years ago when the black skinned people vastly outnumbered the white skins and the world turned against a prejudiced government in South Africa. However, in Canada, the Indian Act still exists, though the government has made promises for many years to remove it. The United Nations has condemned Canada publicly for its apartheid regulations, to no avail. Apartheid still exists, not in South Africa, but in Canada. On “the rez.”

Are “Indians” forced to stay on reservations these days? No, in Canada about half live off their home reservations. But any government benefits come only to those who live on the reserves. If you live off the reserve, even briefly–especially if you are a woman–then move back to the reserve, good luck trying to get your rights to benefits back from the government.

Now about the “What’s The Matter” part of the title. What’s the matter is that North American aboriginal people did not die out, as expected, which is why they were given such a “sweet deal” in the apartheid style treaties. What’s the matter is that the culture of the North American aboriginal people is very, very, very different from the culture that was brought to North America from Europe. If this article were expanded to book length, it would still not be long enough to explain the many differences between the cultures of the Europeans (now white North Americans) and the aboriginals.

What’s the matter is that the white governments of North America never kept the promises they made to the aboriginal peoples in legally drafted and signed treaties they drew up themselves. No aboriginal group was ever offered the chance to draft a possible treaty because they were considered by the Europeans to be inferior people, not quite human in the European sense. Not only were the conditions of the treaties in the style now known as apartheid, the governments didn’t even keep the few promises they made in those treaties. Promises they made up themselves.

We are used to politicians making promises before elections, then forgetting them once the elections are over. But if we have a legal agreement with the government, we expect the government to keep its end of the bargain. The government certainly expects us to keep our end, and is prepared to enforce it with imprisonment if we don’t. The government of Canada has never kept its part of the treaties it agreed to with the aboriginal people it wanted to avoid going to war with. There were no Indian wars in Canada to speak of. The aboriginal peoples had no choice but to let the white skins take over their land, exploit it with farming, with mines, with oil wells, while receiving zero in return for their agreeing to “share” that same land. Their “reserved” land, by coincidence, rarely proved to have any real value, including for hunting the animals they traditionally hunted for food, temporary shelter and clothing.

The “problem” with “our Indians” is that the white people lied, cheated, duped their treaty partners, then refused to keep even the few concessions they made in the treaties they signed to keep the peace. And the white people can’t understand why their “Indians” are upset. Wouldn’t you be upset?

Not only do the aboriginals not have a concept of land ownership (no one would accept ownership of the air, so why should people want to own the land when we can all share?), they don’t have a word for “religion”. Aboriginal people don’t have a problem with belief and faith, with wars and arguments between people who believe in the same God, as whites do. They never ask “Do you believe in God?” Every one I know and have read about believes in a Creator. That’s not the God of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam). The Creator is a part of everything, to them. Including rocks, trees, grass, wheat, bears, snakes and people. In fact, the concept of Creator largely agrees with what physics has proven about atoms being components of everything, about energy and matter being different versions of the same thing, about everything of importance being accessible. Science doesn’t agree with the concept of a supernatural, but the aboriginal people do not blame scientists for their shortsightedness. They accept what others think and choose to believe.

It’s the rest of us non-natives who can’t accept differences, who can’t accept others who don’t believe what we have been taught, who can’t accept that aboriginal people believe what they can feel and experience while whites want to have mysteries based on “faith.”

The problem is not with the people we white North Americans call Indians, but with us white North Americans not caring enough about others to learn about them, to see if what they believe, what they know, how they live, may be better than what we have been taught. We treasure our ignorance and want to preserve it for our children. Those who believe anything radically different from what we have been taught must surely be “inferior,” so may safely be disregarded.

The history and behind the scene's look to the mafia.

The History And Inside Scoop of The Mafia

When you think of New York, many trade marks come to mind. The Statue of Liberty, is among the most popular. However, since the 19th century, The Irish Mafia has been exploding immigrants from the Old Country. The arrival of the Irish Mafia had the local business owners running scared. Their domination had become very powerful. No racketeering was too small for the Irish Mafia.

The Irish Mafia made a big name for themselves, literally, with names like, “ One Lung, The Killer and Mad Dog.” The women, flashy clothes and drinking days were just getting started. The Irish Mob had begun to influence many of the United States biggest cities. In 1974 a gang known as The K&K gang, robbed a Philadelphia bank. The members were of Irish decent, and later became known for their involvement in loan sharking, thievery and gambling across the State.

In the early 1980’s when drugs had begun p a role in the Mafia, over thirty K&K members were taken into police custody. Nonetheless, the gang still continued to dominate and grow. The gang’s leader, Ray Matorno was gunned down, after bringing over a dozen hit men, in order to remove the Italian Mafia’s hold over Philadelphia.

St. John’s cemetery is a Historical trademark, when it comes to New York and it’s ties to The Mafia Gangsters. Millions of names are displayed. Many suffered from a blow to the head, but the tombs could never silence the history laying beneath it all. The legends of the Irish along with The Italian Mafia, speak for themselves. The blood shed at the hand of the Mafia Bosses, and it’s members cannot be erased, and a visit to St. John’s Cemetery is unlike any Gangster Movie of all time.
