I come to meet people from every walk of life and the sad truth is the ones closest are the ones well equipped to screw you. Now why does this happen, well most of the time its cause of a rich blend on ungratefulness paired with an attitude that well stinks, that people posses. Being good to people is like being a goalkeeper no matter how many goals you save they will always remember the one you missed.

Everyday I learn something new, some inadequacies about myself, and usually the people to tell or make me feel it… are part of an esteem bunch of losers. You make people an integral part of your life, give them your mind and soul just to find out they’re throwing themselves at others. For someone who doesn’t do much… my life goes through dramatic changes I mean it seems like there is a long unending line of people waiting to screw me

I wonder at times what has happened to us as a community, great civilizations have been bought to dust for their own mishaps, with no one else to blame but themselves. Noble life demands a noble architecture for noble uses of noble men. Lack of culture means what it has always meant: ignoble civilization and therefore imminent downfall. My nemesis – my downfall, if you will – was relationships, and trying to fulfill them, but obviously I’m not going to discuss my relationship(s) but relationships in general.

There was this time when partners were chosen on the qualities they possess rather then what they possess. Unfortunately much of our activity these days is nothing more than a cheap anesthetic to deaden the pain of an empty life. For those poor men who want to make something of themselves you know be self-made, basically the honorable thing to do are quite aptly termed “boring”. Now lets the kind who is not boring and hope to learn from these individuals who have supposedly everything. Taking the easy way out is an option to, set low standards, meet them and live happily ever after. Firstly you should be an absolute awesome dancer and completely in the clubbing scene. Obviously to get to the club you need to have a car, and ample cash to go with it. Doesn’t matter where is comes from, hard earned or just from the old man’s fountain of cash, it all counts. If all that doesn’t work you might want to try trekking, damn the excuses they make.

Well its fun now, life seems good, but where is the growth, I mean is this what you’re going to pass on to your kids, just because your dad doesn’t ask you with who your going doesn’t mean it’s ok. What you portray to the world is often quite the opposite of what you are, and when this happens it’s the beginning of the end. People change, but it should always be for the good. Sitting at home waiting for some aunt to help you ship your ass off to Canada seems the ultimate option. The intent of this blog was just to vent some repressed feelings. The target of this is clearly stated in the title. And if somehow you can relate to this blog, consider yourself to be in deep shit.

A good wife is one who serves her husband in the morning like a mother does, loves him in the day like a sister does and pleases him like a prostitute in the night.

Why is it that people constantly strive to be difficult? all i ask from you is time, maybe its selfish of me that i don’t want you to go away from me but even you don’t know what turbulent times lay ahead of me. this is precisely why one should not divulge their problems and go by life alone. i wish i could spend my life whining but time is a luxury i don’t have. yes i lie allot according to people but its a lie cause i choose for it to be a lie. the thing about a quarrel is that it take two parties, it can be avoided if one party deserts it only gets worse if one o the parties in question probes. i was quite happy till i got to know that women are capable of breaking hearts.

to begin with for you the whole notion of being in love is conceptual, but what you fail to understand is that concepts at times make you defy logic. the reason why i say you live in denial is cause you actually do, religion is a beautiful thing but its not open to interpretation, if you wanna follow one part of it you cant ignore the rest its not regular ice-cream shop where u get too choose your flavors and toppings according to your mood. I’m telling you now i won’t miss you, i’ve bought myself to handle things alone thank you very much. i’ve mentioned i’ve an extremist so its either black or white no grey for me, same thing in life its either a yes or no. my friend whether you like it or not is my conscious, i was told by my conscious not to venture into this arrangement its dangerous and heartbreaking, but being a man i dint think twice, now look at me.

moving to even more trivial issues, the order i seek in life is the confusion i feel. everyone has problems each with their own priorities my actual problem is that i don’t reach that level to handle the bigger ones cause people find ample time to burden me with smaller more irrelevant ones. the more you try to run away from a fight the faster it chases you down. you try to give someone the respect of not fighting back they will make sure there is a fight. “Izzat Raz nhy ati bhai”. Another problem is that everyone wants to be the victim, i think its a universal rule now that its always my fault. i don’t mind but it gets to me sometimes and people just don’t understand.

The point well, there isn’t a point to this post its just to tell you that people are so short sited, i know its cliched to say that put yourself in my shoes but seriously try it. You will get to now that it isn’t a walk in the park, even for a handsome guy like me …

Have you ever wondered why even nowadays women find it harder to reach the same occupational stance as men? I recently met a very impressive woman that kept underestimating herself, as she compared herself to men and younger women.

Do women have less self confidence than men?

The 21st century is era when women in the developed world are taking over men’s jobs, they can materially as well as spiritually take care of the family, they have freedom to express their needs and wishes, they can travel or do anything their ancestors would never dreamt of.

Still, there are many women who always feel that in some fields they can never do as well as men. This applies for very gender neutral jobs like cooks, writers, journalist, radio moderators etc. There are many of them, but how often is for example a girl TV presenter hired for her abilities and how often is she hired for her nice face? How many women top class cooks do you know? Why is this?

Is this because of the stereotypes in thinking and the self perception of each gender? I feel that the society in which we grow up affect us very much, regardless the global trend. On one hand, many women still feel the need to be protected and look up to men as the rulers of the world. On the other hand, many men feel endangered by strong women who are taking over their professional and social roles. And there the mental fight and wicked circle starts because both genders need to be accepted and recognized in their social status and have to fight for it.

As for the self confidence, it seems to be the social environment in which we grow up that strengthens or weakens or self perception. It is a family with a one strong parent or a model when one gender is preferred to the other. There are many sons who feel neglected because their sister is the daddy’s little girl and there are many daughters who feel it is not fair that their mummies always make them do all the housework and spoil their brothers. The social environment is the second factor, in countries where women are very active in public life and are brought up to self confidence, they can hardly feel to be something less then men (the contrary may though happen).

In general, both genders are equal and are predisposed to have the same self esteem, it is only our environment that can negatively or positively affect this self perception.

Do elder people underestimate themselves compared to younger ones?

And how is it with age difference? There are many elder people who are laid off because of young dynamic ambitious employees who recently joint their company. These people surely feel less secure than the younger ones whose professional life has recently started, who are enthusiastic and full of fresh ideas and opinions. This is the case in many companies, especially in middle management positions.

For the top management, the contrary may be true. Someone who is really an expert on something can hardly be aged 25. Well, in some cases he can, but it is not very common.

There is also very big difference in age perception. Older people tend to be not very happy about huge inflow of youngsters and the less experienced ones feel limited by the old ways and old structures in some companies.

Who is more confident then? Highly experienced older people can hardly feel threaten by someone who can be their child or grand child, but people working on average positions seems to feel insecure in presence of someone strong and ambitious, who knows the modern trends and technologies. It can be also the case in some families: when you are a child you obey and trust your parents. But as you grow up, you see they also make mistakes, and at certain point you see that you know better then they do. For some situations there is no difference in career and family. Only one is harder to accept than the other one.

It is not easy to generalize people. For many centuries women were made inferior to men and some are still finding their new role in the current times. The status is finally equal, and however it still happens, there is no need to underestimate women (nor men).

The same logic applies for elder people. In some regions, they are highly respected for their long life experience, in others they are treated like the less important thing. Elder people deserve respect however every time the level of recognition and honors shall be considered individually and in regard of the situation. (You can hardly say that someone who has been doing the same thing for 50 years is an expert without looking at the results of his work.)

A look into some of the basic difference between women and men.

God only know that we can all drive each other mad on the topic of the opposite sex. I know that women have driven me over the edge some times, be it in my mind or in a car. However, in my years of observing, I have noticed that the massive amount of arguments and headache in all men and women relationships come out of what I feel are a few are basic misunderstanding about the genders.

Men are simple, Women are not: I can’t recall all the times I have talked to or watched a lady stress out over something that seems completely unimportant to me. This struck me most when I listen to a girl complain for two hours about her boss getting mad at her during the day. What I liked even less was this was at a dead end job she hated and was thinking about leaving. That being the case, why would she care about what her boss thought?

I have noticed that men have a far more common trend of being laid back. Something bad happens they don’t care or notice, unless it is really really bad. When was the last time you heard a semi-normal guy complain about his elbow being too rough? Not saying it doesn’t happen, just saying that I notice girl worrying about small stuff more.

Women are smarter, guys are saner: Now, let me explain myself, it comes from point number one. Women have massive brain power. They can keep crazy long schedules and to-do lists all in their head. Men forget what month it is. But that also lets men not let things get to them so much. One can’t worry about what they can’t even remember. So when something does come up they have a cleared head to face it with, where most women already have a full docket on their mind.

Women are far more in touch with their feelings then men: Women are always going to win on the issue of affection. That is why women are mothers. Men simply do not have the inner understand of their own feelings to do something like be a mother. It is women’s greatest strength; unless they let their emotions run their life. That is part of the reason why I think antidepressants sell off the modern drug store self like candy.

Men will never be able to feel as deeply as a woman can, not that men can’t feel. It is just not the same. And sometimes women forget that about men. It is not a case that a man doesn’t care, he just may not have such a good understand of his emotions as a women does.

No man is prince charming, and no woman is the princess in the tower: A common fairy tale that we secretly believe is that our fairy tales are true. Men like to be the knight, brave and strong and able to save the fair lady. But men can’t, no one can save anyone. You can support, you can help, but only the person can change themselves.

Women also have fairy tales. They want prince charming. They want someone to be everything they ever saw in the movies and they will dance the night away and everything will always be perfect. Yet it doesn’t work like that. The only man that is going to be prince charming is a man pretending to be because he understands that is what a woman wants.

Men are stimulated through their eyes; women are stimulated through their minds: There is a very real reason why women have more to look at than men do. Men like to look. Men are aroused best by images. We like the curves of a woman, even the gay men I have met like the curves of women.

Women are aroused through their own fantasies. Romance novels are made mostly to be read by women, because women respond through the imagination more then men. That is why men seduce mostly through words and women mostly seduce through those wonderful curves.

With these things in mind you can better predict and understand why we do the crazy things we do.

A recent survey of the knowledge and skills of 15 year olds in the 30 OECD countries consistently revealed some startling differences between the sexes in the areas of Science, Mathematics and Reading Performance.

A recent survey of the knowledge and skills of 15 year olds in the 30 OECD countries consistently revealed some startling differences between the sexes in the areas of Science, Mathematics and Reading Performance.

Reading Performance

In all 30 OECD countries, girls gained higher results than boys in Reading Performance. The biggest difference was in Greece were girls attained marks 13% higher than boys. The OECD Reading Performance average score for girls was a significant 8.1% higher than their male counterparts. The biggest differential between the sexes was in Greece where girls scored results 13% higher than boys. The highest scores of all were attained by girls in Korea.

Mathematics Performance

The Mathematics Performance results were higher for boys than for girls in all but one of the OECD countries, namely Iceland where girls gained 0.9% higher marks than boys. As an average across the OECD, boys results were 2.3% higher compared to their female counterparts. The biggest differential between the sexes was in Austria where boys attained results 5% higher than girls. The highest marks of all were gained by boys in Finland.

Identifying Scientific Issues

In Identifying Scientific Issues girls gained higher results than boys in all OECD countries without exception. They performed on average 3.5% better than boys. The biggest differential between the sexes was in Greece where girls attained results 7% higher than boys. The highest marks of all were gained by girls in Finland.

Knowledge About Science

In the Knowledge About Science results, girls came out on top in every country except the United Kingdom where boys outscored girls by a very tight 0.002% margin. On average the marks for girls were 1.9% higher across the OECD. The highest marks of all were attained by girls in New Zealand.

Explaining Phenomena Scientifically, Earth & Space Systems and Physical Systems

In every OECD country boys outscored girls in each of these three areas of science by between 3.0% and 5.3%.

Now that we have this information and we know that boys and girls have different strengths and capabilities should we attempt to redress the balances? Or should the different sexes be encouraged to concentrate on the areas in which they are more likely to be skilled?

The results can be found in full here.

Changing tides in the current of America.

When these United States first uttered the words “We the People” it had a slightly different ring to it. That moment in time was dominated by white males, so “We the People” meant basically a bunch of middle to upper class white males who had similar religious backgrounds (or, at the very least had religion at all).

Such is not the case for the modern day “we”. We are now, black, white, red, male, female, Baptist, Catholic, Mormon, atheist, American decent, African decent, Mexican decent, etc… We are now so diverse and cover such a broad spectrum of ages, genders, races, religious beliefs and income levels that there can be no continuity among us. So, where did “We the People” go?

While “we” were busy fussing among ourselves over petty problems and difference (which by the way, are what make America, well America) The original “we”, the upper income, white male was busy buying political votes that would set his company up financially. And who was he buying these votes from? Well by George he was buying them from other upper income white males that we put in control of our country.

If we ever hope to have a “We the People” that actually means anything again, we have to start seeing it in our government. Sure, sure there are a few Hispanics, a few African Americans, a few women….but until the congress, house and senate are as equally diverse as our actual country is…..you can guess how they’ll vote.

What can “we” do about it? Well, hmm, let me think, I think you can VOTE for who you think best represents you and your community. White males are not the majority any more, so why are they representing the majority? I think that’s because their buddies that own the big companies have enough money to help buy them seats in whatever arena they are interested in. How do they do that? Advertising, money to tour the country, to donate to other causes that will support them, the list goes on. And guess what, we let them do it, then sit around complaining that the guy we elected doesn’t think like us.

I am a 40 something whit female, and I will follow my heart in the coming elections. I will vote the vote that’s good for me and not the popular vote. I will listen to the speeches, and learn about their backgrounds. The internet has become a powerful weapon in the middle class to poor hopeful candidate’s arsenal. It does not cost a thing to have a presidential “Myspace” or “Facebook” and Youtube will play whatever video they send stating their views.

I’m not asking for a tea party (although it might not be a bad idea) just a little initiative. Just spend some time and get to know the players, it is OUR country. I wouldn’t let someone order my meal at a restaurant why would I let them determine the policies and laws of MY country. It’s time for “We the People” to stand up and be counted!
