The Egyptians developed a brilliant civilization during this time. They created impressive paintings and sculpture. They made studies of the stars and planets and invented a calendar with a 365 day year. The accurate measurements used for building the pyramids show that they were skilled in mathematics and engineering.

The Great Pyramid of Cheops in Giza, Egypt, is composed of more than two million blocks of stone, which weigh an average of 2.5 tons each. The pyramid is 446 feet high and covers about 13 acres.

The Egyptians also developed new ideas about medicine and surgery. Eight dynasties ruled during the period of the Old Kingdom. Towards the end of this period, Egypt was weakened by constant battles for power among nobles, priests, and the pharoahs.

History of the wonderful works of arts in Egypt. How good are you in History, answer the questions on this article.

Image via Wikipedia

For more than 4,000 years, the Phyramids of Giza have been regarded as one of the wonders of the world. Perhaps the greatest wonders of all is how the builders managed to erect them with only the simpliest tools- not even the wheel which came into use in Egypt several of hundreds years after the Pyramids of Giza were finished.

Image via Wikipedia

There are three major Phyramids of Giza, near Cairo, and they were built as the tombs of the three Egyptian Pharoahs, who had the statue of gods on earth. The first and largest, was the monument of Pharaoh Khufu, also known as the great Phyramid, who reigned from about 2,590 B.C to 2,567 B.C. The Phyramid is 480 feet tall. It’s base covers over 13 acres and is 750 feet square. The Phyramid is built of about 2,300,000 blocks of stones, weighing an average of of more than 2-1/2 tons each. Some weight more than 15 tons and the granite roof slabs of Khufu’s burial chamber weigh 50 tons.

Image via Wikipedia

The Phyramids are built on the slight hill on foundations of solid rocks. A nearby outcrop of rocks form the lower part of the Great Sphinx. Today, the outskirts of the city of Cairo reach virtually to the foot of the phyramids, but when the phyramids were built, the site was out in the dessert.

Image via Wikipedia

It is also the ancient Egyptian temples that the visual arts – painting, sculpture, and achitectue – found fullest expression. The temples shared the massive quality of Hatshepsut and the temple at Abu Sembel. Others, such as those of Lukor and Kamak were of the pylon type.

Egypt has announced emergency measures to revive order following a mob attack on the Israeli Embassy within the Cairo suburb of Giza Friday night. Protesters had spent much of the day tearing down a protective wall, before finally breaking through Egyptian Army lines.

Information Minister Osama Hassan Heikal said Saturday that legal measures were being taken to transfer suspects detained for Friday’s violence to an emergency state security court. Earlier, the state-run MENA news agency said military police had arrested 19 people for his or her alleged roles within the attack.

Tensions had been mounting throughout the day Friday once a rowdy crowd of largely youth began hammering away at a wall in front of the building, tearing most of it down. Security forces tried to ward off the gang by firing teargas, but were slowly overwhelmed permitting protesters to enter the largely residential building that houses the Israeli Embassy on the 17th and 18th floors.

The Egyptian government says at least 3 people were killed within the melee and quite 1,000 were wounded. many people were arrested. Security forces are on high alert.

One middle-aged Egyptian man complained to al-Hurra tv that the protection forces in front of the embassy should not have intervened to guard it, because it’s the people’s will to tear down the wall in front of the building.

He says it was a supreme display of the need of the Egyptian people, who demanded that the wall protecting the embassy come back down, and that they brought it down. He says Egypt’s ruling military council must respect the stress of the people, because they are governing within the name of the people.

Veteran Egyptian editor and publisher Hisham Kassem says an awesome majority of Egyptians were horrified by the violence at the Israeli Embassy.

“About ninety five % of the Egyptians are disgusted at the attack on the embassy and the other violence that transpire,” he said. “Even commentators who appeared on channels like Jazeera … who normally have a really anti-Israeli position, were saying, ‘This is wrong. we won’t attack an embassy.’”

Kassem worries, however, that Egypt’s ruling military council might use the attack on the embassy as a pretext to use force within the coming back months to modify different protests and different incidents of violence.

“Once the united states says that you simply cannot use force against demonstrators, the answer could be, ‘Excuse me, do you mean we will use force to defend the Israeli Embassy, but not the remainder of the country?’” he said.

U.S. President Barack Obama had urged Egypt on Friday to intervene to guard the Israeli Embassy. Egyptian sources say the army commandos stormed the embassy building to rescue Israeli diplomats, who were flown to Israel.

Khufu, his greatest accomplishment--the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Ruler of the 4th dynasty and the ruthless and cruel Pharaoh according to some people.

Khufu

The Pharaoh was commonly known as Cheops. He ruled in the 4th dynasty (2551-2528 B.C) He was the second Pharaoh of this period and he ruled for 23 years. According to archaeologists, not much is known about Khufu’s personal life or his accomplishments. Many assume that this period was a highly structured society and that he must have gained great wealth. His most known and famous construction was the Great Pyramid of Giza. The Pyramid is about 481 feet tall.

The pyramid has so much fame, more famous than the builder, Khufu. Although he was the one who organized the construction, not much is known about the Pharaoh due to the fact that his remains have never been found. There was only an empty sarcophagus in the center of the King’s Chamber located inside the pyramid. And a very small statue of 9 cm of Khufu has been found. This statue was not found in Giza or near the pyramid, it was found to the south at the Temple of Osiris at Abydos. Many believed that his tomb was robbed.

Many archaeologists believe that Khufu led military into the Sinai, Nubia and Libya. Khufu was believed by some to have been a ruthless and cruel Pharaoh. He commanded a tremendous ability to organized and mobilized workers to build the Great Pyramid. Khufu was the son of a pyramid builder, King Sneferu. He probably learned a lot from his father.

There are many theories surrounding the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza. The lamest theory, suggested by many, suggests that aliens built the pyramid. The second theory, experts suggest that slaves were forced to work daily until the task was finished. The other theory, however, suggests the pyramid was built by thousands of skilled workers who camped near the pyramids everyday and worked for a salary.

Pyramid of Cheops or also known as the Great Pyramid at Giza. You can call these monuments as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Pyramid is the oldest and the three found in Egypt. According to Egyptologist, believes that the pyramid was built over the grave of the dynasty of four Egyptians. To perform this construction took about 14-20 years, which was built in 2560 BC. This is an impressive monument and a landmark for Egypt, where millions of people come to see this spectacular site. Believe it or not, the fact that this pyramid is a structure that is male and measured at a height of 480.6 meters. This is the tallest structure made by man, which is recognized as one of the wonders, even in the world. Pyramid of Khufu is the oldest monument in the world that was built three years ago in 1800.

Basically, this pyramid was closed down by the stones on the outside forming a smooth surface. Even today, if you visit you can see the original structure is not destroyed. To build this one of the Seven Wonders of the World has taken millions of rock known as limestone material. Many Egyptians were used as workers for the construction of this site. They were forced to lift, move and drag the huge stones in place to be. In this pyramid, there are three well-known cameras. The lower house is registered in a layer of solid stone pyramid was built. For kings and queens of the two cameras were placed on top of the pyramid.

In 1976, American flies near the Viking Mars and photographed on the surface of a huge, gigantic human head, which they called the Sphinx, because there was a striking resemblance to the head of the Sphinx at Giza. At the same time and photographed a huge fields dotted with pyramids.

Americans quickly cooled the passions – say no to Mars pyramids sphinx or not, everything is just a play of light and shadows, optical illusion – illusion. But despite these claims to the world press in the 80 years leaked the existence of complex facts about pyramids on Mars. Finally, in November 1994 the National Aeronautics and Space Administration research (NASA) officially stated: “The sphinx and pyramids on Mars exists.” All these years took place at NASA’s secret work, images from Viking to analyze the best computer. After the evocation of that mysterious and much-anticipated word YES was started a special press conference. The emergence of the pyramids on Mars, estimated for the period from 9000 to 5000000 years. Even in 1961 – even for 15 years until the start of the Viking Richard Hougland Institute in Brookline in the U.S. despite NASA’s prohibition on evidence gathered by the footsteps of ancient civilizations on Mars. The document entitled “Expected consequences of research space man” at 178 pages talking about that turf Sydonie plains on Mars are visible traces of objects obviously artificial origin and around the pyramids and the Sphinx. The plains stretch Elizij “Mariner 9″ discovered a field of pyramids. In the southern polar region of Mars are revealed geometric, regular structures called “City of the Incas” in the northern hemisphere in the Gaza Sydonie photographed the “City of the Pyramids” and 10 km from his sphinx, which shows a woman’s face with a tear on the cheek. This title has ancient Egyptian haircut.

But this means that a Martian civilization was somehow linked with Egypt, Atlantic colonies or alone Atlantis. The length of the face measured from the chin to the hair is 1.5 km and 1.3 km wide – its height then measured 0.5 km. Such giant could be built only a powerful civilization. Raises the question of why women face? It is perhaps a symbol of the Mother of the World, who weeps over the civilization that perished? For Sydonie pyramids is 25 – 5 large and 20 small .. The largest pyramid of Kheops pyramid 20 times higher than in Egypt. Small pyramids are as large as those at Giza, or the recently discovered pyramid in the jungles of Bolivia with a height of 250 m. The parties to the pyramids on Mars, reaching 0.5 km at an altitude of 1 km. And all this is a large area of 25 km. Images of the Sphinx is exactly on the meridian of Mars. In the center of the complex – is a circle with a diameter of 1 km. But what is it? It’s spaceport, accelerator center of the city or in the form of a mandala? The circle then runs a variety of lines – paths. Pyramids are ordered complex system. Sphinx and the main axis of the pyramid are oriented to the north axis and the other three big pyramids are skewing the meridian at approximately 16 degrees, which means that it is 1 / 22 of the arc, known as the angle alpha = 16.36 degrees. This angle is unusual by being placed at the base of the plateau of Stonehenge, as well as other buildings before. Location of all bodies (bodies) is in the mutual coordination (line) of axial lines and touch lines (tangents). Location Martian complex is comparable with the plan pyramids of Mexico, in Teotihuacan, he smiled and brandy. It is clear that the old city on Mars when it was bombed a few meteorites. But even though you can see on the left pyramid two interventions, in addition, there are obvious crossroads. Some routes are built as a detour around the craters caused by meteorites fall.Does this mean that people built this city in spacesuits? The images from the Viking was unveiled yet another Martian Sphinx and in Utopia, surprisingly similar to the first. And there were also discovered another pyramid at the Deuteponilus. That means that Martian civilization of Atlantis and many cities have developed at a time when the Martian atmosphere suitable for life? And when was that? Before thousands or millions of years? And what if the civilization of Sirius associated with Mars? Moon and his phenomenal random characters equally as excited about Mars. Photos station “Lunar Orbitr 2″ made in 1966 captured objects a regular conical forms in places the sea calm. The images were taken from a height of less than 48 km and they are seeing sharp shadows. Most reflected the monumental obelisk. Sergei Proskurjakov combination schemes do monthly shots. It was interesting that the monthly distribution plan objects is identical to the deployment Chufuova pyramids, and Chefrénova Menkauerova. Wednesday peaks discovered in the pyramid system “abaca” are distributed with an accuracy up to a mirror reflection as well as the top 3 famous pyramids at Giza. The schemes have a place unique to the Egyptian law triangles representing monthly tips (pyramids) and of the pyramids at Giza. As you can see, again offered to monitor the volume of civilizations Atlanteans and Sirius. Mars remains one of the major mysteries of our age. Of the ten Russian space stations launched to Mars, neither fulfill its program until the end. Landed only two probes. Successfully flew the first U.S. station to Mars Mariner in November 1964. Meanwhile, a few made their stations to 8,000 images of Mars. In the sixties, the Russian stations, nothing happened. In the seventies, celebrated the success of Viking and Russian station Marsy should fail. In the eighties, Americans have once again succeeded and failed Russians with their stations. Why is Mars himself ventured Russian station? If we consider, and incline to the deciphering of the Galactic Code (Jose Argueles – a descendant of the Mayans), we find that in the 80’s collapsed mental house of our planet. This means that the aggressive orientation collapsed unconscious at first atheistic mood of individuals and gradually introduced into the ionosphere and turned out the spiritual values of ancient civilizations and early cosmology and Christianity to Russia.

Americans first discovered on the moon and unravel the mysteries of the first Sphinx on Mars. Meeting astronaut Armstrong on the moon 20/06/1969 spacecraft with other civilizations has revealed a new era for earthlings. Armstrong’s voice heard from space in all states outside the country of Russia and China. His voice said: “There are large objects, UFO! Oh God, they stand on the other side of the crater and watch us! “And then followed the mysterious disappearance of two astronauts of Apollo 14-Shepard and Mitchell. The lunar module returned within the specified period. And when their oxygen supply has long since arrived – they came back and refused to explain his incredible saving. After returning to Earth, both filed for retirement on pension. Exciting, is long since declassified U.S. documents related to the accident and the destruction of a flying saucer in New Mexico in 1947 on board were four humanoids.Since then, the secret U.S. bases located the body more than 20 pilots of UFOs and actual plates. Embarrassment caused similar concealment of facts. Why do you think Nostradamus wrote: “Well, what we get to XXI century? Descending from Heaven Burning – now is the master of the Earth. The end and beginning of the century, the rebellious spirit of the living man threatens to reveal Mars ‘freedom’. What about Nostradamus had in mind when he spoke in his quatrain about Mars? On Liberty earthlings, Atlanteans, or our contemporaries trying to imagine himself as ruler of the Universe? Ruler of Earth descends from heaven burning. Burning Sky – Uranus, the god of heaven in the old myths. In January 1986, was launched Voyager spacecraft to Uranus, which revealed an unusually orderly lines on Miranda – moon of Uranus and Uranus spin axis orientation to the sun and the incredible magnetic field. What exactly is the line or lines on Miranda?Extremely reminiscent of the lines on our Nazca, extending to tens of kilometers plateau LAMP de Nazca in Peru. Gigantic lines show the man wearing the space suit. Contours resemble astronaut that floats in the air. Viewing figures is so great that it is not visible from Earth, visible only from an aircraft or space ship. Lampa de Nazca lines and Miranda were the spaceport Atlanteans civilization or perhaps Sirius? Let us turn now attention to the fact that within 4 days after the Voyager flyby of Uranus near January 28, 1986, an American ship Challenger exploded 73 seconds after the start. And following the spacecraft’s flight ended just after the start of the explosion. The spacecraft Arian in the same year ended in failure – also exploded just after launch. And then came the turn of the Chernobyl disaster in April and May of that year.Does this mean that he actually collapsed mental house of our planet in 80 to 90 years and the awareness of earthlings to attract cosmic spiritual values - memories sent to us to turn to the old sacred teachings, Mahatma writing, learning and HPBlavatské Rerichových to know themselves. who we are in the Universe, which manages SPACE ONLY Reason, and incomprehensible to us that we are asked to respect Cosmic laws that gave us through Jesus Christ and the other teachers, the founders of world religions. In the 80’s NASA discovered an extraordinary guide to Uranus Umbriel. On his smooth, pale ashen meteorites nezvrásněném disk is seen strange, fantastic clear round (circle). NASA astronomer Šklovskij pronounced version of that moon of Mars – Phobos and Deimos are inside the hollow body and artificial origin.Jose Arguelies in his book “The Mayan Factor” describes a meeting with Richard Houglandem, NASA’s associate in 1983.Hougland was dissatisfied with the interpretation of processing results at NASA’s discovery of the complex on Mars. J. Arguelies viewed the photos from Mars enlarged on the computer and was surprised. “The sad memories in me spill, but this perception (feeling) was infinitely broader and deeper, as all types of memory that I knew. It was created in me a feeling that civilization was born and developed life on Mars is destroyed, it hit the infamous tragic end.

Day dedicated to the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara has been tiring. All this day we dedicated it and the first capital of Egypt, Memphis. We accompanied the same driver who was telling you about the first episode in Cairo, Wahid, we got along very well.

Due to the growth of the city in recent years, the pyramids have become a kind of “neighborhood” of Cairo .Basically you do not know where it ends where it starts Cairo and Giza, Giza and the houses of those knocking on the gates of the pharaohs. An advantageous negotiating with a dealer at all recommended camel driver took us to benefit and transport to the foot of the pyramids, but also to go on a ridge line where you could see all the pyramids at Giza. Fun cost us about $ 55 per person and I would not recommend me to proceed. It’s much cheaper to buy ticket to enter the pyramids and then walk up the pyramids. Looking around you will find many dealers trying to sell you something, and if you want to be photographed on a camel, blood can negotiate with them.

Pyramids are, in fact, the first pharaoh of Egypt’s tombs , with their shape, creating the link between heaven and earth, is dedicated to the sun-god Ra, as evoked sunlight falling on Earth. There are testimonies of ancient Egyptian belief in eternal life, which is why the pyramids that housed all the goods a pharaoh would need to continue their normal way life – animals and jewelry.

Inside them there are several rooms, including “Queen of Pharaoh” and for the treasures and artifacts, rooms whose reputation has attracted thieves and destroyed the tombs of pharaohs legacy to future generations.

Although at Giza are about six pyramids , the most visited are the largest and most luxurious of them: the pyramids of Cheops, and Micherino Kefren. After the year 4600 , when the Pyramid of Cheops was built, this measure 146 meters . Meanwhile lost nine meters in height, but has retained its name of “The Great Pyramid of Giza” and is one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World still standing . Those who want to see the inside of the Pyramid of Cheops and have no problems with enclosed spaces, small and poorly ventilated have to get up in the morning and stand in line to be one of the 300 people who can enter every day in the pyramid.

Pyramid of Kefren, although it has only 136 meters, apparently due to positioning, higher than that of Khufu, his father. It is the only pyramid that still retains some of the original limestone casing. Sphinx, the mythological animal with a lion’s body and face of man, was intended to protect Kefren’s pyramid, and now is the protagonist of most photos of Asians.

Micherino or Menkaure is actually four pyramids – one large and three smaller ones, which are part of the complex or the mortuary.

Next stop was in Memphis - where the Nile Delta meets the Nile Valley - Egypt’s first capital and a prosperous city until the year 700 AD, now empty and extremely poor. Open-air Museum houses a statue of Ramses II and a sphinx.

We ended the day and also our stay in Cairo with the pyramid at Saqqara, the oldest in the world, dating back 9,000 years. Known as the “stepped pyramid” is part of Zoser’s funerary complex, with a similar architecture of a temple. Also there I visited the Pyramid of Titi, where I had the opportunity to see the inside of such a construction.

Surprising discovery near Giza: In Dahshur, researchers have found the remains of a port facility. The area around the famous Bent Pyramid was apparently over a canal to the Nile.

In an excavation of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) were apparently found the remains of a harbor – away from the water. In Dahshur, about 25 miles south of Giza, the researchers discovered Nicole Alexanian to a roughly 90 by 140 meters wide border, which is reminiscent of a port facility.

Why a port is located in the desert? “The Nile at that time was much further west than today,” says Alexanian. Therefore, it is conceivable that they had passed the Nile water via a channel up to that place below the pyramid. “The bottom of the port facility has a level that could have been achieved in the time of the pyramids by the flood,” says the researcher. Under the circumstances, could have brought the dead king by sea for burial.

The research team found in Dahshur also a covered causeway, the connection between a valley temple and a pyramid. He led from the temple of the so-called Bent Pyramid, which was built in the reign of Pharaoh Sneferu between 2670-2620 BC, down towards the Nile. The domed roof of the road, visible from the remains of which still had to assess the excavation leader until the 6th Added dynasty around 2300 BC. “The perimeter of the road are older than the roof that had probably built later, to modernize the system according to the taste of the new era,” says Alexanian.

Demolition without respect for old buildings

The archaeological team, which was actually in search of a second temple at the foot of the Bent Pyramid grub, also from a ramp that was built in the New Kingdom in order to transport large blocks of stone from the pyramid temple. Without any respect for the works of its predecessors, the Egyptians had demolished about 1300 BC, the temple to use the stones for new buildings.
This ramp they built out of broken parts and fragments of limestone relief, who also came from the temple. Then they moved the large stone blocks, decorated with reliefs were part of the desert down to the Nile. Presumably they used ox sled to move the heavy stones.

The Valley Temple – who had been suspected there, where once was the border between the desert and the fertile land – have found, the archaeologists are still not. Meanwhile, they think that there is no second temple was the Bent Pyramid. “At this stage it was not yet determined when it came to look like a pyramid district just had,” said Alexanian.

Next, the DAI team would therefore like to determine by further drilling and excavation if the water came before the time of the Nile flood in this vegetation-free area where today there is only desert sands, ancient pottery and bones.

What are the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World

The ancient Greeks loved art and architecture. They were the first people to compile the 7 wonders of the ancient world list. These wonders included the marvels of the 4th century BC. The Greeks had conquered much of the world and traveled far and wide. As they were patrons of beauty, they took fancy to the landmarks and unique architecture of various lands. They compiled a list that contained places that were ‘theamata‘, that is, ‘things to be seen’.

The Great Pyramid of Giza
2584-2561 BC
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the only surviving member of the 7 wonders of the ancient world list. It is located at Giza Necropolis, Egypt. This pyramid is about 800 feet long, 450 feet high and is built of over 2 million blocks of stone. It is said to have been built as the tomb of the 4th dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu.

Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Around 600 BC
It is said, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon were built by King Nebuchandnezzar. He built the garden for his wife Amytis of Media to enjoy a private, terrace garden without any disturbance. It was build in Al Hillah, Babil Province, Iraq. These gardens were said to be about 400 feet wide, 400 feet long and were over 80 feet in height. Some historians are under the impression that these gardens were built on a series of platforms. Each platform put together made the garden over 75 to 80 feet high. These platforms were connected by a series of steps and paths that made the queen happy, loved and got rid of home sickness. It is also is said to have a complete system in place for the circulation of water. The garden is supposed to have been destroyed by a massive earthquake.

Temple of Artemis at Epheus
c. 550 BC
The Temple of Artemis had a brush with bad luck plenty of times. It was destroyed and rebuilt several times on the same site. Every time it was destroyed, it was built more lavishly and with even more impressive architecture. The first time the temple was built it was destroyed in a war in 550 BC. Then it was rebuilt only to be burned down by a man. This man wanted people to remember his name till eternity. But, his plan did not quite work out as he had planned. After the temple was destroyed an official decree was passed, anyone who took that man’s name would be put to death! Alexander the Great, was born on the same day this great temple was burned down. When Alexander visited the temple after many a years, he offered funds to build the temple better. It was built about 425 feet long, 225 feet wide and 60 feet in height. There were 127 columns to support the structure. The Goths, destroyed the temple around 262 AD and this time the temple was not rebuilt due to lack of funds.

Statue of Zeus at Olympia
435 BC
The Greeks completed building the statue of Zeus in his temple to honor the Greek Olympic Game. The statue was a gigantic structure that occupied the whole width of the aisle of the temple. It was about 40 feet tall and was said to be destroyed in a fire during the 5th and 6th century AD.

Mausoleum of Halicarnassus
351 BC
It is said, King Mausolus ruled a small kingdom in Asia Minor. His queen Artemisia was a beautiful woman who loved the king a lot. After the death of King Mausolus, she got the most beautiful mausoleum built in the memory of her loving husband. It was known as the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus and people from far and wide came to visit it. By the year 1494 AD, it was destroyed by a flood. It was rebuilt but was damaged by an earthquake and plunders of the European Crusaders destroyed it forever.

Colossus of Rhodes
292-280 BC
After the death of Alexander the Great, his three generals fought over his land. Everyone wanted to rule the island of Rhodes. It had potential for trade and thus desired by all. But, the people supported General Ptolemy and helped him drive away the army of one of the enemy generals. In order to celebrate their victory, they build a huge bronze statue from metal of the war machinery left behind by the losing party. This was a statue of their patron god, Helios. Every morning the bronze statue glistened under the sun. After about 56 years it was built, the statue was toppled by an earthquake. It fell into the harbor and just the thumb of the statue was visible over the water surface. The king of Egypt offered to rebuild the statue, but the people of Rhodes refused. This is because they believed Helios himself threw the statue in water in a fit of rage. Around 600 AD, Arab traders removed the remains of the statue and sold it as scrap metal.

Lighthouse of Alexandria
c. 280 BC
The Island of Pharos was a harbor in Alexandria, Egypt. This lighthouse was built in this harbor and helped ships enter the harbor safely. This lighthouse is said to have survived for 1500 long years and finally destroyed by an earthquake in the 1300’s. During its era, it was the tallest man-made structure at about 380 to 440 feet high.

So, these were some interesting facts about the 7 wonders of the ancient world. Just reading about the 7 wonders of the ancient world list makes us give out a sigh in awe.
