Anyone can be "cool", but it takes a little extra to be Awesome.

First off, the difference between “cool” and “awesome” (at least in my book), cool just means popular. Cool people are often the stereotypical popular kids, the ones who are convinced that hair is more important than grades, last night’s football game is more important than you, and if you aren’t part of their personal ring of friends and fans, then you are worth just about nothing. Awesome people, on the other hand, can be popular, but still have the time to be nice. They take school, jobs, and people seriously, and are more than willing to be helpful when they can be. The following steps are the basics of being truely awesome.

             1. Don’t put people down. Next time you think of a great dis to throw at somebody, don’t. Instead, find a way to compliment them. with a sharp wit and a little practice, compliments can be just as funny, and far more satisfying than insults, without causing any harm. It may seem lame at first, but it gets easier, and it’s lots of fun, especially if your friends respond well to it.

             2. Take your education seriously. It may not seem so important right about now, but if you brush school off now, it will bite you in the butt later. Also, it’s a lot easier to hang out with friends when you aren’t constantly being yelled at or grounded because of bad grades.

             3. Whatever you do, do it well. Make sure to put effort into everything you do. People are attracted to those who do well, whether it’s in sports, or school, or extracurricular activities, so if you have a blowoff class, don’t just ignore it, try to get above a 97,or if you’re in band try to be first chair. Even in the classes that you think that you simply can’t pass, put a little more effort in, study a little more each day. If you try, you can do well in just about anything you try.

             4. Don’t be afraid to help. If you are following step 3, odds are, people will start coming to you for help. It’s likely that people will start asking you to tutor them, and some people may even ask for your advice if something is happening in their lives. Avoid brushing those people off if you can. Yes, there are good ways to say no without offending anyone, and if you simply can’t help them, then use those, but help them out if you can. They usually appreciate it a lot, and you can make some great friends that way.

             5. Respect the people around you. Even if he is that one person whom everybody avoids, or that guy you just can’t stand, everybody has something worth respecting, you just have to find it. That doesn’t mean that you have to like the person, or even spend time with them, but always remember that they deserve respect in their way, just like you do.

             6. Know how to have fun. I don’t mean go clubbing, get drunk, do drugs, anything like that. There are far better ways to get yourself killed than by messing yourself up like that. I’m talking about movies, safe parties (emphasis on the safe), band concerts, ball games, stuff like that. Get a group of friends together, and go do something. But most people already know that. What is a little harder, is having fun in school. Talking with friends during free time, making inside jokes with your class, and making games out of school work can make school time much more enjoyable. By using your time at school, you have a lot more time to talk and joke with your friends (though the more active things to do aren’t allowed), and you have a far better educational experience.

There it is. Six steps to being awesome, and making high school life a lot better for everyone involved. It probably works for other walks of life just as well, but I haven’t had the opportunity to experiment with any of them. Thanks for reading!

How to know that a person is really good person since all that glitters is not gold.

Always remember that it’s not easy to find a good person, unless and until you are very lucky. However to increase the chance of finding a good person, I list down some of the characteristics which are commonly observed in any good person:

They generally are short tempered, which is quite against their nature.

They don’t try to hurt anyone but still hurt everybody unknowingly

They are generally less successful

They are reluctant to give any advice but when they give it eats up your whole lot of time

They will always try to prove that they are not bad, but always fail to do so

They appear quite rude but in reality they are quite shy

They generally try to become bad, always fail to become. Even if they become, they are the persons who get most of the punishment.

They generally get a lot of punishment

They generally don’t try to help you because they are afraid of getting exploited

They are the people, who have maximum tension

They are the people, which will appear to change a lot after a passage of time but in reality they remain same

They can’t speak lies

So, in short mostly people with negative personality are tend to be more good then people with positive personality.

This is because people with negative personality tend to hide their negative persona. They show their negative persona only to those person whom they feel are weak enough to have any impact on their image.

Now, the negative aspect of such people is very easily deciphered by good people and they feel that everyone favours the negative persona (they forget that bad people don’t show such persona to everyone)and then they try to inculcate such persona in them. This results in all the above characterstics mentioned above.
