In my latest book it is revealed how to live out your passion, this is an excerpt.

The saddest lives are lived by those who never fully realize their potential in this world, seemingly sleeping, continuing to struggle against the river’s flow, refusing to look deep inside where all of the answers truly are. We each came into this world in a state of joy, learning how to leave this behind, and forever reaching out to try to regain that which was lost. You and I are so much more than meets the eye, because we are filled with all that we need. You are complete as you are, in realizing you full potential you will lift the world up to greater heights. If you do not find you full worth you will have deprived the world of your greatness, in a sense leaving a void behind you that no other could ever fill. Fulfill your greatness and play your part, for in doing so you will help the entire world in ways beyond the imagination.

Letting go and bettering yourself for the future. Continue holding on to your dreams and make them happen.

Time progresses as the day goes by. As we find ourselves in situation after situation. We never know where something may lead or when it will end. The truth behind this is that we are human, and with human nature we make mistakes and we make decisions that are based from our own beliefs… our ideals.
If you want to be honest…we all can do a lot better with the right idea of happiness and the right people around us. Everything that seems good isn’t always good. Some things end up badly and some things end up correct. This is all based on what we choose to do. Our decisions are the benefactor to the affects that are at hand. And…with that said we all ultimately choose our destinies.
What if I were to tell you that all that you seek in life and all that you truly desire can be yours? Would you believe me or would you be within the average, closed minded group of people who will look at this question negatively? It’s all up to you. If you have a goal then you work towards that goal, whether it be love, business, work, or fame. Mostly it would be a well made and happy life. This is something that we all want. We all just have different ideas of what they happy life involves.
Life is a wasteland of negatives that you will encounter in an almost everyday basis. The only thing you can truly do to change that is to ignore, ignore, ignore… Look to God for the answers you need help with, but for the ones you can handle on your own look deep inside and find what the right answer is. Mistakes are made all the times by the best of us, but in the end a few mistakes does not cancel out your dreams.
With a few slips here and there, the mistakes made can haunt you only as long as you let them. This is when you should draw the line to getting pass a mistake and looking to the future with them or anymore. Surely with making them in the first place you will eventually become affected by the previous mistakes thinking that you can do no better, but this is surely a way to fail.
That way of thinking can only down you and make you believe that you will never better yourself in anything you do. Let go… Don’t hold yourself in that place anymore, especially if those who were hurt or bothered by your actions before have forgiven you. Continue to work towards you goal without stress holding you back any longer and without a negative thought or action taking you backwards

I do the announcements at my high school and people always tell me they are annoyed at the fact that I am reading off a prompt that ends with “Make it a great day… or not. The choice is yours.”

Which it is your choice. Are you going to take the intiative and change the events in your day or change your attitude to make your day better, or, are you going to drag yourself and people around you down.

I often talk about famous people but they cannot change your life. It takes you to change your own life. Help someone you don’t normally talk to. Pick up something someone dropped, thank a vet, appreciate everything your teachers have to offer. It’s the little things that add up. THe little things that people do not normally think about that can make someone else’s day and in turn making your day better.

So remember are you gonna make your day better? Or are you gonna choose to do the opposite.

The choice is yours!

Orientation matters so much. Knowledge about how to attain fulfillment in life is a great preriquisite to attianing that fulfillment. We are all endowed with capacity for greatness but not all know this. How many know about this?

Orientation matters so much. We are all endowed with capacity for greatness but not all know this. Ruskin says that “The weakest among us has a gift, however seemingly trivial, which is peculiar to him and which worthily used will be a gift for his race”. This thought of Ruskin is the truth many do not know. Everyone on this earth has at least one talent. The problem of many is that they do not see what is in them. Rather they keep focusing on what others have, admiring and desiring to be like others.

People who have good ideas not yet conceived by others rule the world. They are always at the top. They have great asset that can bring them before kings. Today, many have resigned themselves to poverty, failure and to the lowest ebb of the social strata. In their own reasoning and understanding, they are doomed for failure and their situation can never be changed because of the family they came from. This kind of orientation is from the father of failures the devil.

Myles Munroe opined that “The greatest tragedy on earth is not death but ignorance”. For you to have the orientation and mindset that you cannot make it in life is a tragedy. That is where most people got it wrong in this world. Our thinking affects our being. If you are of the school of thought that there are people born great and some are born to suffer, you are wrong. You should change your orientation by reading biographies of great men and women. This will help you change your orientation. I have read the biographies of some great men and women and found out that not all were born with silver spoon in their mouth. Many had suffered a great deal to become what they are today. This changed my orientation and I resolved to do some things that will affect my generation thus leaving a legacy for posterity.

If you must change yourself and status in life to live fully, you should be wiser than you were yesterday. Abraham Lincoln once said, “I don’t think much of a man who is not wiser than he was yesterday”. You should learn something new every day. The quality of friends we have, the quality of our thoughts and the quality of our environment matters in what we final become. These determine your actions and attitude. It fashions your orientation and understanding of life. Therefore, if you will have orientation and mind set for greatness, you should begin to live a more positive life. You should choose friends that will improve your quality of life. Read books that will challenge you and then you will be on the right part to maximizing the potentials in you. Note that your future depends on many things but mostly on you.

Becoming great in life takes certain amount of patience and persistence. This is telling you what they entail.

This might sound unattainable for someone who doesn’t believe in moving mountains. But when you remember that the good God asked us to take absolute power over everything on earth, you’ll begin to understand my drift.

Now with this frame of mind, your mentality is well-tuned in on becoming great in life. You only have few things to do in life for you to achieve greatness. The first one is patience while the second is persistence. Now, before you will need patience, you will also need to find out what you very good at. Sometimes, most people see themselves good in two different fields of human endeavours. Not to worry. It means you are blessed with two different talents.

You will have to ask yourself the one among the two that has more economic value for you and as well as launching you on the road to greatness. This is so because the other one will at the end of the day as you will discover, complimenting the other. When you get started in life on your quest to greatness, you will have to need a lot of patience to enable you face the seemingly insurmountable challenges that you will certainly face while doing what you do best. Patience makes it possible for you to savour your success when it comes while persistence will keep you on the track of the field and path you have chosen to thread in life.

Another way one can attain greatness is by waking up everyday with this question: what can I do to make my life better? This question is necessary so that you will come up with something that will definitely impart positively on humanity and not just yourself alone.

You equally will need lots of prayer for divine guidance. Always seek God’s concern about whatever you have in mind to do in life.

These ways, you will definitely attain greatness in life.

Living in the power of potential and recognizing this in ourselves as well as in others.

Never underestimate the power of potential. Never underestimate the power of the mind. Never underestimate the power of the heart. Never underestimate the power of prayer. Never underestimate the power of love. Understanding the potential positive power that is in each of us is the Gateway to Limitless Possibilities. All famous inventors, philosophers, teachers, and spiritual leaders have known this secret to be absolutely true.

These great minds themselves have never underestimated their abilities or their ideas. For when others see nothing at all, these believers of the power potential see a great potential in everything and in everyone. Something overlooked by somebody else, forsaken, and not acknowledged as worthy or uninteresting or simply too difficult to give praise. Great thinkers of our time throughout history and great entrepreneurs have tapped into a vision of success. It is not so much that they were smarter or maybe worked harder, but that they have the ability to see beyond obstacles and hardships, and unequivocally saw the potential that was there all the time, but discarded and ignored by others.

You must believe you are on a road to greatness. You must believe that you’re here to do great things. You must believe in yourself that you can accomplish these things. You must be able to recognize not only the potential in yourself for greatness and success, but you must also recognize this in others as well and help them promote the best of themselves not only for the greater whole as in groups or teamwork, but for their own expanding potential broadening their consciousness and their personal goals to help them see the greatness that is inside themselves.

This is the best gift you can give to others who have the potential for greatness and may need that extra support and guidance to give them confidence to see it through. As you exercise this observation of great potential in others you will find that it becomes reciprocated back to you tenfold. The confidence that you show in others and praise do not go unnoticed. As if on cue when you are suffering with worry and doubt, somebody somewhere is going to recognize and praise your unique and awesome potential. They will see something in you that perhaps others do not see, but that is plainly visible if only somebody took the time to look more closely. Living in the power of potential and sharing those ideals with others will not only enlighten you, but it will help escalate your own achievements.

We are born with the ultimate potential to achieve great things in this life with love and insight provided by God’s divine grace bestowed upon us. The power of potential is in everybody and everything. The vast universe itself has the potential for being everything we imagine it to be. We here on planet Earth are no exception. They say “the world is my oyster” which literally means that you can do or achieve anything you want in this life, because you have the ability or opportunity or freedom to do so.

But it also means you have the will, the power, the mindset, full of dreams, hopes, wishes, goals, aspirations, and your own unique creativity to create anything you want in this world. The power of potential is your ability to tap into your own living greatness and miraculous divinity. You are born with the ability to create miracles in your life and to develop situations that are beneficial to your existence. The law of attraction is working for you every day of your life. You are attracting what you put out there. Realizing your own self worth and recognizing the power potential in yourself and others will open doors to realizing your goals and dreams.

So be kind to others and recognize their great potential, appreciating their skills or talent or friendship, and uplifting them to even greater potential. Be a teacher of good faith and recognize that everybody has a dream. Never underestimate the power of love, kindness, and prayer for they are aligned with the supernatural where miracles happen and are aspects of every living person here today. Connect yourself with those that are living in the power of potential and recognize that power inside you.

Living a life of great potential is living a life of gratitude and realizing in the magic of believing in yourself and others. You must believe for great things in your life. Confidently moving in the direction of your dreams. Believe in yourself and have faith from your heart and above that your imagination will produce the life you want to live, and know that all possibilities are possible with that mindset.

What does it take to be great?

Do you want to be great? I’m sure there are thousands of books and materials elsewhere that tell you about 7 steps, 50 secrets, or maybe 20 rules on how to achieve greatness. People usually drown themselves with those kinds of “instructional” materials only to find themselves frustrated with failure.

I’m not giving you any of that. Instead, let me share to you a story that will help you get a grip on how to achieve genuine greatness.

—

RACHEL SLAMMED down the telephone and yelled for her secretary. The plush office attested to Rachel’s importance. She had risen rapidly through the company by loudly promoting herself and viciously eliminating anyone who got in her way.

Her secretary entered the office, and Rachel began spouting orders as usual. “Get that stupid jerk Patterson in here. And tell Allison to-“She suddenly stopped at the pained expression on her secretary’s face.

“It’s your daughter,” the secretary said, “Your baby-sitter called. Danielle has disappeared from her backyard.”

Rachel raced out of the office, flung herself into the driver’s seat of her BMW, and squealed out onto the street. Darting, dodging, and blaring the horn, she sped toward the sitter’s house, thinking,” If anything happens to Danielle, I’ll kill myself”. She ran a red light. Almost to the sitter’s house, she saw the crossing guard that had been on the corner for years, ushering children across the street. He had always seemed to Rachel to be a doddering, insignificant old man. And now he had forced her to stop, wasting her valuable time.

She opened her mouth to curse at him, and then noticed the child in his arms- Danielle! Suddenly it was clear. The old crossing guard had found Danielle at the park and was bringing her back to the sitter.

Rachel swung open the door and ran hysterically to the man. She swept her three-year-old into her arms and hugged her, overcome with gratitude. Rachel, the corporate executive suddenly felt very small. And the old man she once thought little of was very important.

—

When I read this story from a printout I was studying, a stunning realization got to me. Achieving wealth and power does not make you great.

How then is greatness achieved?

“When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this man your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all your fellow guests. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

                Luke 14:8-11(NIV)

An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. Jesus, knowing their thoughts, took a little child and had him stand beside him. Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For he who is least among you all –he is the greatest.”

Luke 9:46-48(NIV)

Genuine Humility is the key to greatness. Simply put, we are not the center of the universe, God is. And He exalts those who are humble, because he is pleased with them…those that put others before themselves, and seek to serve others instead of being served.

A description of Muhammad ali's life and inspiring story.

“What hurts most”, said Ali after the loss to frazier, “wasn’t the money that losing cost me. It wasn’t the punches I took. It was knowing that my title was gone. “

By this time, the draft evasion case against Ali had reached the U.S Supreme Court. In June 1971, the court reversed Ali’s conviction by an 8-0 vote, ruling that his claim for conscientious objector status had been valid. All criminals charges against him were totally dropped.

With his legal struggles finally behind him, Ali began his comeback in the ring, rounding out the year with more fights. He beat Jummy Ellis in Houston in his 32nd fight, won a decision over Buster Mathis, and knocked out a West German fighter named Jurgen Blin in the seventh round.

Famous quotes

” I will be a killer

and a chiller

and a thrill;er

when i get the gorilla

In Manila”

“Keep asking me no matter how long, on the war in vietnam, I sing this song, I aint got no quarrel with the Viet Cong

Ali retired with no doubt the best professional boxing career to that point. He will Also be remebered for his determination, strength, and passion for the game
