Climate change and how it is caused.

“Written out” version of a speech I did for English. Subject was – The biggest problem facing the world today.

The following report will address and compare alternative fuels used to power motor vehicles as far as their advantages and disadvantages as well as how each affect our environment. The goal of this report is to find the most effective fuel that has less of a negative impact on the world’s environment in a whole. In addition, the alternative fuels that will be the topic of discussion are electric, hybrid, natural gas, hydrogen, fuel cell, clean diesel (low sulfur), biodiesel (B100), and ethanol (E85). Each of the mentioned fuels will be weighed out according to the amount of pollution they do and do not contribute to the atmosphere.

When the sun’s rays shine on the Earth, part of the light energy is absorbed as heat by the Earth’s surface while the rest is reflected back into the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases act like the glass surface of a greenhouse and reflect the heat back to the earth, resulting in an increase in temperature.

Everyone’s heard of global warming. But have you ever heard of the following hazards of global warming.

Since the mid 20th century, global warming has become a major controversial not only for Americans, but for the entire world.

This is a proposal that I sent to Governor Schwarzenegger, President Obama, and many other influential people.
