This is an essay in which I look at how schools group children and prepare them selectively for jobs in the future.

Incorporating active and collaborative learning into the computer science addresses issues that are unique to computer science education; it provides a mechanism for coping with the ever-increasing complexity and change inherent in the discipline, can serve as a tool for dealing with a wide range of background and abilities exhibited by our students, and it facilitates a safe and positive learning environment for students.

Why do people group? People always put other people in certain groups: for example outcasts, nerds, popular, unpopular, etc…
