Jessie Jackson came out this morning stating that we need to change "pain into power". Will this inflamatory remark only escalate the cries of racism moving like a dark cloud over our country? Black leaders across the states are chiming in with "the talk" that mothers have to have with their sons if they are black. The question remains that violence does not know color. The fact is that every mother, no matter what race or ethnicity, has "the talk" with their teen children, to be aware of bad things that can happen, in the hopes that their child will not be the victim.
