Please follow the steps carefully to avoid errors.

1.  There are 12 months in a year. Let “1″ be equal to January, “2″ for February and so on.

2.  Let a friend add 18 to his birth month. You friend must not mentioned the sum. 

3.  Then let him multiply it by 25.

4.  Subtract the result with 333.

5.  Multiply the result by 8.

6.  Deduct or subtract 554.

7.  Divide by 2.

8.  Add your birth date. (ex. January 25 = 125)

9.  Multiply by 5.

10.  Add 692.

11.  Multiply by 20.

12.  Add only the last two digits of his birth year.

13.  Subtract 32940.

14. Replace the first two digit by half of its value.

If the answer is 222188, let him replace the first two digit (22) by half of its value (11) making it 112188. This means that his birthday is November 21, 1988. If the answer was not right, you may have committed errors during the process or you just simply lied about your birthday.

15th June was the day which brought so many news of happiness for us because on same day your eldest brother Sattar got call letter for his job. Your elder sister Rukhtaj completed her Quran reading on the same day evening and the biggest news was your elder brother opened his eyes after 2 days of unconsciousness. My mom describe the importance of today in these words always before saying, “Happy Birthday to Me”

For my Mom, “I brought hope and happiness for my family” and she conclude on, “Now it’s your mission to give hope and happiness to those who need it most.

I wish I can fulfill dream of my Parents who see me as a symbol of “Hope and happiness” I think I was the luckiest one in my family because the way they all loved me till today I can not forget. The way my father looked towards me with his shining and smiling eyes in which I clearly read only one sentence, “Make me Proud by spreading hope and happiness for the whole human kind. How can I forget importance of those full of hope eyes in my life? I miss him so much..

Celebrating birthdays is a cultural tradition that is carried on in most every culture throughout the world.  It is, aside from religious holidays and observances, a day we each recognize and the one we probably looked forward to first.  It is a day that celebrates you and who you are.

The day you were born, for most of us anyhow how, was a happy and joyous occasion celebrated by family and friends, even by God when others may not have been celebrating so much, but God was because He loves you more than words can express and had planned for you, knew you even before you were born into this world and has very wonderful and special plans for your life.  It is reason to celebrate.  You are very special and your life is very valuable.  You are a VIP (very important person) and you are loved.

Back in time before people kept written records of special events, births and marriages people had no way of noting time passage except by the seasonal changes in the heavens, and on the earth itself, by the moon and sun and stars, the growing seasons.  Of course people aged then as much as they do now but there was no special record kept or any special anniversaries or noted milestones made record of.  People didn’t keep records of such. 

Birth dates and other special events didn’t start being noted until after the first calendars were created and established and even then those special events were mostly made note of when it centered around kings and queens and the elite of our societies.   Common folks and events were seldom recognized but that eventually changed and now just about everyone celebrates the life that they are and in the way of their own cultural tradition.

For many of us our birthday celebrations go on from that day forward to the day we die in one way or another.  Some of us have big celebrations with parties, special events, dinners, even banquets with family and friends around us and we are toasted and roasted and it is our special day, our few moments of fame one day out of a year. 

Most of us, however, don’t go for the lavish celebrations.  It is more personal and most likely recognized by only a few family members and your very closet, best friend or friends.  That birthday recognition gives us a feeling of being loved and appreciated and we all need to feel loved and appreciated, we all really need that to be healthy and to be happy.  It is a miserable soul who feels unloved and that no one cares about his thoughts or his aspirations and those feelings are reflected in our personality, our behavior, our attitude toward life and living.

Today, just about all children and most adults look forward to this special day, their day, our birthday celebration.  The Germans are, I believe, the ones who first began celebrating the birthday among the common folks and they called this day Kinderfeste meaning festival or celebration of the child. It was a way of noting and marking the birth of a child and the annual milestones in a child’s life and eventually these celebrations extended into adulthood.  Now we all celebrate that special day and look forward to it.  It is our day.

So Happy Birthday, whenever your special day is and take a few minutes to reflect on your life and the direction it is going.  Remember how very special you are.  Make this a special day because it is the beginning of your very own, personal new year.  Be happy because you still have a life to live, goals to attain and dreams to inspire you and a God and family and friends who love you.   

You are about to start a new year.  This is your new year celebration, a time to take stock of the past, inventory what is working and what isn’t and step forward into your future with refreshed hope and faith and with your eye on the goal.  Birthdays are not only a day of celebration for most of us; our birthday is a personal day of reflection and as we get older that becomes more and more the case.

Birthdays are celebrated in most cultures around the world in one way or another.  For most of us our special day is not celebrated with those big and lavish parties and for a few of us it is barely recognized if at all by others; only we may remember and maybe we will do something special to be good to our self.

In common, most of us celebrate the day of our birth with a few family members or friends getting together and doing something we especially enjoy, maybe have a special meal of foods we like best, maybe a few gifts or a gift from those who are celebrating with us, gifts that say I love you and I am glad you are here and in many cultures there is the Birthday Cake, that special dessert, that sweet treat made with you in mind. 

Birthday cakes are wonderful and a special, your very favorite kind and flavor, commonly made with fancy decorations and topped off with candles to celebrate the years of your life.  It is for some of us the best part of the day or at the least the most flavorful and delicious part of the birthday meal because it was made with you in mind.  Someone thought enough to make it special.

The birthday cake has become very much a part of the birthday celebration, especially in western cultures and in most all cultures a sweet pastry or treat of some kind is given to the birthday boy or girl and that stretches back to at least ancient Rome where we who are of common descent began celebrating birthdays and back to the early days of the Egyptian Pharaohs when it comes to the social elite, the kings and queens, the princes and nobleman, the chiefs and the hierarchy of our cultural society, though the elite celebrated in much grander style than did the common folk and that apparently is still very much the case though most of us celebrate on a greater or lesser scale in the same traditional ways.

Birthday cakes are always special.  I remember my father’s was a special spice cake with a butter cream frosting he especially enjoyed.  My mother loved daffodil cake, my brother always wanted chocolate cake and my sister wanted a cherry walnut cake.  I always wanted pineapple-upside-down cake.  One of my grandmothers especially loved maple walnut cake with a burnt sugar frosting so that is what we always made for her.  My own children used to vary their request but it was often chocolate or a marble cake and I made a special effort to make the cake of their choice.  It was always fun and gave me great pleasure making those cakes.  Actually one of my sons preferred apple pie so I would make an apple pie and he now likes cheese cake for his birthday.  His wife or I make sure he gets that too.

It is always a lot of fun to celebrate a birthday, to make a day special for those you love and care about whether you are one or one-hundred and one.  It is your day.  So Happy Birthday and may you enjoy many more filled with love, light, peace and good health.  God made you special and for those of us who are a part of your life and you a part of ours we celebrate you being born because we are so glad you are here. Go ahead and celebrate the very special you that you are.

Things You’ll Need

A funny Birthday card

A casual atmosphere

An easygoing friend who won’t make a big deal out of things with HR if you are at work.

A smile on your face

A pen

Step One

Pick up the pen and the birthday card.

Step Two

Write one of these three phrases on the birthday card with the pen:

“Shine on, you crazy diamond!”

or

“Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight!” or

This is the day that you were “Born to Be Alive.”

If you have a friend from the island of Jamaica say: “One love, one heart, have a nice birthday and feel all right.”

Step Three

If you have a friend that is African-American you can sing Stevie Wonder’s song, “Happy Birthday To Ya, Happy Birthday” to them and they will appreciate it more.

Step Four

Put a smile on your face and hand your friend the card and you will surely get a smile or a chuckle in return.

Overall Tips & Warnings

Only do this for a real friend. This is not something that you would do for someone who is an adult but has not yet learned how to stop being a tattletale and go run stuff into the supervisor’s office or even worse Human Resources.

Laugh with your friend and not at your friend to make the cake, icing and milk go down more smoothly. Also laughter burns off a little bit of calories from the cake you just ate.

“Happy Birthday to Ya, Happy Birthday” by Stevie Wonder is a great song to sing at a house party for a friend.

“One love, one heart, have a nice birthday and feel all right.” Is a nice thing to say to a Jamaican and even better try to get them to talk about their country a little bit and your listening to them talk will be your “gift” to them. Happy Birthday All!

“Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight!” is from KC & Sunshine band and is a little more mainstream to use if you are not sure that they like Pink Floyd or not.

“Shine on you crazy diamond!” is for someone who is wild or a stoner or a slacker and knows Pink Floyd music very well.

Now if the person is not a good friend or is a tattletale or likes to spread gossip about you that could hurt your career just write “Best Wishes” in the card and sign your name beneath that and then hand the office card to the next prat who has to sign it. This way, you have covered your own ass, you know?
