11 rules that can keep you happy provided you practice them

Life is very beautiful and it is also a fact that it is mortal then why shouldn’t we make it simple, face the hardships smilingly, since only we have to solve our problems. In order to solve your problems sensibly, it is important that your mind must be at peace and for that peace of mind it is important to live happily.

Living peacefully and happily is not typical. You only need to make some rules in your life and practice them. In this way you can keep yourself happy and distribute happiness among others as well. Just practice the following rules and see what happens!

Rule No. 1

First of all always be hopeful. Despair is a sin and it embarrasses the person more. Therefore, try to look at the bright side of every matter and be hopeful for success. If you are not succeeding in any matter, then be satisfied in the God’s will for He may want to give you something better than this one.

Rule No. 2

The second important rule is to keep smiling every time. Think how many people will smile seeing your smile. Smiling opens the gates of spirit. When a little child smiles, you can see smile on everybody’s face and you feel unique internal gladness that cannot be given any name. Smile also keeps the body healthy and you know soul cannot be separated from body except after death. Therefore, smile and let others smile as well.

Rule No. 3

The third rule is never breaking anybody’s heart because if you break other’s heart, you will also feel pain. It is said that there is a reaction of every action. When you curse others, you also feel recklessness internally. This recklessness serves the purpose of dam in front of your happiness. Always remember, who do not respect others, people do not respect him too. Therefore, be obliged to other’s people love and faithfulness. Forgive others’ short-comings whole heartedly. Remember, forgiving whole heartedly means, forgetting displeasure incidents in a way as they never occurred before. It is difficult but not impossible.

Rule No. 4

Fourth rule is passing your time with your friends and relatives. Meet each other and share gifts, but remember always admiring other’s gifts, because the love of giver is also included in it and people who reject other’s love remain emptied from love themselves.

Rule No. 5

Fifth rule is describing your happiness. If you get any success or any of your desire fulfills, express it with an open heart, but not in a way that other’s feel jealousy. Thank your God and if anybody else has got any happiness, pray that God may prolong his happiness. When anybody prays for others, the same pray become blessing in his favor as well.

Rule No. 6

Sixth rule is your relation with your Creator and that is very much important one. Strengthen your relation with your God. Worship Him and share all of your heart feelings with Him. It is only God, in front of whom; we can open our heart’s secrets without any fear. Do virtuous deeds and also invite others. Your virtuous deeds should be of a kind that can benefit majority of people.

Rule No. 7

Seventh rule is learning from your environment because knowledge is that treasure that keeps on increasing and it does not get any harm from the ups and downs of the circumstances. It is not necessary that you always use books for gaining knowledge. Learn from Newspapers, Magazines, T.V. Internet and from incident that are taking place around you. Try to learn from the experience of elders, since they have already seen and understood the world more than us.

Rule No. 8

Eighth rule is helping others. Believe me, you will feel happiness that can neither be expressed in words nor can be valued. Helping some blind person cross the road, leading to the right path, helping the poor, guiding the sinful person will surely give you happiness.

Rule No. 9

Ninth rule is very important. Choose words sensibly in your speech because the wavering of tongue is more dangerous than the wavering of feet. Making the cheek red by slapping will disappear after sometime, but the slap on the heart sometimes cost much. Therefore, choose words thoughtfully in your talks. Whatever difficulties and problems we are facing in the world now most of them are the result of this tongue alone. Speak politely, you will receive politeness in return and if you speak bitter, the opponent will also utter bitterness.

Rule No.10

Tenth rule is giving room to truth in your life. Speak truth and support truth. If you want to punish anybody, keep speaking truth with him. Don’t find faults or criticize others because when you criticize, you yourself give an opportunity to others to raise finger on you. Remember, when you raise you finger on anybody, the remaining four fingers points towards you.

Rule No. 11

Eleventh rule is taking care of your health. Do light exercises daily. Your most of the brain and body tension is released by exercising and you will feel relaxed.

Happiness is present inside a person. Setting of few rules can make your life simple and more attractive. Before applying these rules, remember, come what may, you have to adopt these rules and then success will be yours destiny.

Here is the raw truth about the problems that all the people in the world face, doesn't matter whether they are rich, poor or orphan.

Everyone have always dreamed about being rich and living a luxurious life without any problems. But do you know that there is no such thing as a luxurious life without any worldly problems?

Yes you read it right, there is no such life without any problems. Lets suppose you somehow won a lottery and all the riches are at your doorstep, you would probably love it for a day or lets say a week, or maybe a month, or a year but what after that? Eventually there will arise a problem, a pain or a loss for you. This is the raw truth of life, A person is never satisfied with what he already has and those who are satisfied have to face many problems and go through sufferings.

When you get rich, you will never get the happiness you get when you meet your relatives, friends or family, the change in their attitude, with all that humbleness gone you will notice that its not easy being rich and happy at the same time. People start getting jealous from you, you are restricted from options and have limited freedom, you can’t enjoy the love and relationships that poor and middle class families enjoy. Sometimes, these things are at extreme and there is a threat to your life as well, you can’t walk in public without any arms or bodyguards to protect you as there is the slightest probability that you might get robbed or murdered for any reason. Somehow by being rich you are deprived of the luxuries of life that most common people enjoy. Most of the time poor are happier than the rich, they have tasted the bitterness of life so they always appreciate the good moments.

“You will never appreciate a good apple if you have never tasted a bad one”, this was nicely said by whoever said it, it is a fact that if we always eat good food and enjoy the best luxuries then we would never appreciate it if we haven’t gone through the bitterness of life, once you get used to it, your life will return to normal, the daily routine without any changes and you will start getting bored of your life and eventually most people commit suicide, especially in America these days, most people commit suicide, in other third world countries, people set America as an example and wants to live the life of Americans while Americans are not happy with their lives, if your from America and are Happy with your life then consider yourself lucky as most people get bored of their daily lives and even though they have achieved success they have no aim and lose the will to live anymore and eventually commit a suicide.

One thing’s for sure, we should always Thank God for whatever we have, and never feel down if there are too many problems in our daily lives as many people are so bored of their lives that they crave for problems and hardships. To live a successful and happy life always set a aim for you to achieve as once the aim of your life is achieved you will lose courage to live so always set a new aim once one aim is achieved so that your always struggling and hopefully this struggling will keep you get going.

Money can buy anything but not love and happiness that sometimes comes from the activities of your life. In movies they always portray that there was an aim that the Hero had to achieve and he did but they never show what became of him after he achieved success?

If your afraid of anything than go now and do whatever you want to do, its your life so live it without any fear or restriction, spread your wings and take flight, always look to forward to achieve something higher but always remember to Thank Your God, For if it was not for God you could have never been successful. As for me, Though I am facing many problems but overall, I am living a Happy Life Alhamdulillah!

When times get tough, many feel the pressures fall into depression that leads to death. Suicide usually increases in economic recessions. The economy goes under and so do people's moods.

Suicide rates increase in times of Recession. Starting with the Great Depression and doubled in the 80’s. Suicide rates have jumped in economic troubles. It is suggested that its likely to be this way in our most recent economic downfall. The highest jump occurred in the Great Depression, it spiked to 22.1 suicide oer 100,000 persons. Murray, 2011 states that 22.89 increased in 1932 from 1928. With that being said suicide still plays a small part in the U.S. Cancer and Heart disease are much more common. Many people may talk about suicide because they are so overwhelmed with bills and other financial obligations.

The economy needs improvement. If it stays in the shape it is now than, there maybe much mire than just talk about suicide. It is quite difficult for those who may have never suffered any financial problems. Many have lost jobs because their employers could not afford to keep them on. Those who are in need should be helped and those who talk about suicide should be encouraged.

I know times are hard, money is tight and we get distressed because a family vacation is impossible, travelling whether by plane, car or true has gotten too expensive so what is a family to do. For many families they decide to deny themselves, and the only ones that suffer are usually the kids. Outings’ can be fun and inexperience is you plan accordingly. Know friends with pools, BBQ equipment, how about a local park, these are all places you can go with your children, and other family members to have fun.

While going to your city’s biggest monuments may be expensive, but to make a trip to many, and just admire the artwork; for most youngsters is fun enough. It doesn’t take much to entertain a child; time spent with them will over time go a long way. True the economy is in a bad shape and we are all scrambling for MORE money, but if you have your life, your family, friends and a roof over your head, you several steps attend of many throughout the world.

Young children don’t know economic hardship especially if they are having fun, so don’t sit around your home and mumble about not having money, go to the local park, or beach and show the family how we all use to take the time to have fun.

Economically things may not be great, but they can be fun.

Life will always require us to set new goal, and revisit your old ones, thus this can and will help you to understand perhaps where you go wrong

Taking a good look at your personal budget it may show you exactly where your “extra” money is going. Find ways to cut back, cigarette smoking, drinking is one of the biggest budget breakers there is; and one can make a million excuses, but the bottom line you are now spending more money than you have. Spending on nonsense that is what that is.

Economic Hardship surrounds us all, from work, to family outings, to monitoring your person budget, though not impossible it will be difficult but don’t give up.

I use to worry about time with family but as time went on, camping, parks, ferry boat rides and window shopping became fun. As a family we looked, we dreamed and over time we set goals. It is not impossible, it is just hard.

This is an article about the special some one in our lives, one who has helped us through hardships and trials.

The special person in our life can vary depending on many factors, some include how we were raised and the circumstances upon in which we were raised. Others involve maybe a special someone who has helped us through some very difficult times and is always on hand to be supportive.

For me the special person in my life is my Grandmother. Once my Mother reached the stage where she was incapable of looking after me I moved in with my Grandmother*. My Grandmother stopped her entire life and turned it off to look after me. This is rather incredible, I will say again my Grandmother stopped her entire happy retirement and entire life to look after me! My Grandmother is someone special I tell you. Her unconditional love and compassion enabled her to support me and help me through all my tough and difficult times, and believe me there has been many.

This incredible woman deleted some of the best years of her life to look after me, now isn’t that special? So have a think about the special person in your life. They could be anyone in the world, you may have not even met them yet…

Though your special person can change over time, you will probably always have the same someone in your life for support until they move on. Losing your special person will be hard for you no denying that. Accepting support from other people when your special person moves on can be hard, as most of us put on the brave face and act like everything is okay, when often it is not. A new special person cannot be found, most often, through normal means usually they are found through particular hardships and trials, I only found my Grandmother as my special person through the trial of living with a Mother who couldn’t look after me.

So have a think later when you are alone and see if you can identify the special person in your life.

*My Mother is well now however I still live with my Grandmother.

Sometimes motivation comes from the most unlikely places.

We are living in a day and age where times are tough for many of us. It seems like every time we turn on the television, there are only bad things happening. A global bad economy, natural disasters, and wars dominate the news now. Many people are losing interest and motivation in our world today. Inspiration is drying up like water in a well for most people. When this happens, people fall into depression, and other negative habits and patterns that seems to dominate their lives. That is one of the worst mistakes a person can make. We gotta find ways to stay motivated.

I recently had a conversation with a friend of mine, who is dealing with a hard time right now. She mentioned to me that lately she has been so depressed and stressed out, that all she does is sleep. I told her that she needs to try to find a way out of that depression. She didn’t like this statement, and felt like I was being rude to her. That wasn’t my intention at all. The main point I wanted to make to her was being depressed wasn’t going to help her situation. There are many ways to keep and stay motivated. All it takes is a bit of effort, and a positive outlook. We must first develop a positive way of thinking in order to gain motivation. So what are some ways we can get motivated?

Motivation can come from many places. Too many for me to name in this article. It can come from a friend or family member seeing a good quality in you, and letting you know about it. Motivation can come in the form of volunteering, or doing something positive for someone else. Small things like writing an article online and getting a lot of views can motivate a person to continue to write. If you are into selling things online, getting a confirmation e-mail saying that you sold an item can be motivating. Like I mentioned there are so many ways to get motivated. The main thing is for us to find inspiration in the small things. Contrary to what some people think, small things do matter in life. People tend to overlook the little things in life, but these things can help us stay motivated. Lets not let the hardships and tough times in life beat us down. Like I mentioned in a previous article I wrote titled, “Society and how we handle our problems“, we have to face our problems head on. So what motivates you?

A long summary in my opinion of what I thought life is in general through lessons, quotes, and advices that I heard and still hearing in my life. I wrote this so that maybe people could relate to what I wrote, and maybe share the same things I had or still go through.

The things that we go through help define who we are.

What we do every day determines our actions for tomorrow.

How we live today, will guide a path for the rest of our lives.

When we love someone, you should hold them close to your heart,

because our lives don’t live for long.

Love like there is no tomorrow, laugh like you never laughed

before, because you should never forget the little things in life.

How can we spend the rest of our lives if we don’t live our life

to the fullest?

Don’t take everything for granted, they were there for a reason, to

help you live a better life, and for you to learn from that mistake.

Take life as it comes to you, because who knows, it might never

come back again.

Take a breath when you need to, and take it easy, life is stressful

as it is, so don’t make it even more unbearable for yourself.

If you are in a relationship, listen to one another. Arguing over something

stupid can mess everything up that you had going for each other.

Kiss the one you love, not the one you hate!

If you hold a grudge, you should let it go or karma will come your way.

Give a smile when you know someone needs it the most, give back to the

people who helped you before you can give to someone else.

If you love someone tell them before they are gone forever, because you

will regret it in the end.

Having a person who will be there at your side when you need them

the most, that is the person you can depend on and count on them to be there.

When you live in the real world, conquer your little goals first before you

can start that quest to challenge your dreams.

Take those small steps towards who you want to be, and once you have

found yourself, take your determination with you and never lose sight of it.

When you are lost, ask and seek for help from you friends and family, because

they are there for you all day, every day.

Don’t lose hope, it’s there, you just have to reach as far as you can, go as far

as you can, if you just believe in yourself first and never let anything hold you down.

Then you can find a way to accept the hard things in life that make it difficult

to live.

Ask your parents if you need help, that’s the reason why they ask you

if you need help! Don’t be stupid, accept what they are willing to give to you,

because they will give you more than you have asked for.

Having confidence in yourself, can lead to leadership, which can lead to a path of

conquering your fears and you can step outside of your comfort zone.

Take the time to really listen to what your parents have to say, after all, let’s face

it, they were kids, adolescents, teenagers, and adults and now they are our parents.

Let’s be serious here, they have been through a lot, and we should be mindful of that

and be mindful that they know a lot more things than we do.

Respect their authority, for they have been respectful to us over the years.

We should look forward to what is ahead of us, with our heads up and our feet

firmed with strength and courage, because with these two things, it can take us two

steps forward and two steps back.

We should take what’s in front of us and work with it, and make it our own, and then

decide for ourselves what we will do with it.

Don’t be fooled by strangers, let them be fooled by you. Don’t let your eyes be deceived

by your surroundings, let your surroundings be deceived by what you see.

We should have faith in what we believe in and stand for what we think is right, and be

mindful of what the views of others are.

When the time is right, we should take matters into our own hands when it concerns

us. And when life seems to be going fast, slow down and pace yourself.

Be calm and conscious of others, for they will be humbled by our actions.

We don’t know what is in store for us, for we have no control over the things in our

lives.

But we can change our future if we accept what has happened already and take in the

valuable lessons we learn from it.

Because in the end we will always be thankful of what we have accomplished and what

we have learned from over the years.

And as we go on with our lives, we should always know that life isn’t what it seems, life

isn’t all fun and games, that life gets rough, and that there may be times that we may feel

like we should give up; but we push onward when it gets tough, because we know that if

we give up, we lose, but if we fight on and keep going we win and we feel like we can do

almost anything we set our minds on.

There are many opportunities in life and we should take the time to find the right choice that

will lead us to our own future.

Graduation Message.

Yesterday, we had our Pinning Ceremony at my alma mater.

Although I was not able to bring any gold yesterday, I feel proud of myself and my classmates because we surpassed the great training in our College. All the hardships we have faced, we have surpassed.

And as we were receiving our pins yesterday and being proclaimed as graduates, I cannot help but feel sad that we are about to be separated so that we may proceed with our own journeys to life.

I will miss my classmates. I have learned to love them much, since I have been with them for two years now. They make my coming to class everyday an exciting one.

And so to my beloved blockmates, I leave you this message.

The bamboo is a woody, perennial plant known for it’s resiliency. Unlike most
grasses, bamboos can grow very tall, and is valued by humans for their culinary,
medicinal, construction, artistic, and ornamental uses. Like the bamboos, we,
the students of BSN 4-4, are a family of nursing students who exhibited
resiliency against all the obstacles that came our way. We are a family because
we shared hardships, success, pains and happiness together although we have
various likes and personalities. We are proud and glad to say that the hardships
did not break us. Instead, it made our friendship and love for the art of
nursing grow. We have happily bonded through all the tedious paper works, all
the mind-contorting nursing subjects, and all the tiring duties in the hospital.
We also were priviledged to have experienced touching the lives of school
children, and the special children because of our Clinical teaching and
microteaching. Because we came from the College of Nursing, we have the unique
experience of showcasing the knowledge we have gained from our Nursing Mentors
creatively a la MVJ style.

The thesis, a requirement we all have to finish, was a big rock that almost
wrecked what friendship we had. At the same time, we were required to conduct
numerous seminars, just like the seminar for the Nutrition Month, the seminar required by
our Information Technology professor (it’s benefit to us, until now we cannot
fathom) and the seminar required in our Contemporary Nursing. Honestly, those
task almost drove us out of our minds. Still, those hardships did not break us. Instead, it helped us to grow and it showed us how versatile we can be.

Just like the bamboo, all of us aspire to be of service to the community in a
multitude of ways. And just like the bamboo, we hope that the friendship that we
developed will swiftly and steadily grow through the passing of years.

Congratulations to all of us! God bless on our journey.

Read this story to learn about a working man that must endure many hardships. Everything in this story is not real and has been written to show people the hardships.

I used to be a cashier at my company’s store and made about 7 lins a hour. To give you an idea about how much this is, our nations poverty make 3 lins a hour. They do hard physical work and there are many of them.[20% of our nation!] They earn enough money to build a small hut out of sticks and blankets and can afford food and weekly baths. I sure am glad that I went to school and got a degree.

Today I got promoted to manager of the store and am getting paid 10 lins an hour. This is very good because with that extra 3 lins I can buy more for my family. I was very excited and hoped to work even harder.

3 days passed and I had invested about 25% of my money into the stock market. Most of the stocks went down and I incurred a loss. On the news they say that this is only temporary, but I see it getting to be bigger.

The next day I got an email from the corporate office telling me that I must lay off about 2 cashiers out of 5. I hate firing people because they will have trouble providing for their family.

A week went on and I was depressed, the stock market kept dropping and dropping. My rent for my apartment went up and there were rumors at the corporate office that I soon would be receiving a pay cut!

The next day I learnt that 50% of the nation was jobless and that small shops and businesses that had been their in my childhood were now closed.

I don’t know how long this can go on for but I am getting lower on money and I see many on the streets. I try distributing my extra 3 lins amongst them but they all fight for it.

Riots have started in the city and politicians are being assassinated by the public. The police force can only handle so much.

I got a very shocking letter in the mail that told me I am fired and that my company will be closing down. I don’t know what to o and can’t afford to pay rent.

Every single one of my stocks are now bankrupted. I am almost out of money.

I have heard of a land in the east that is very wealthy and filled with jobs, but I must spend all my current money to get their. Its a gamble but I think that I may just go.

I was attacked by rioters and they stole my clothes. No one has clothes anymore as they are all selling them for food.

25% of the country has starved to death. The government isn’t doing anything.

Helicopters come from the sky lowering down supplies like food. We see many other tents being set up in which clothes and sanitary items are being distributed.

There was a big war between some foreign soldiers that took power and now they plan to get us out of this mess. Now there are no more people in the streets they are all housed and supplied with food.

Sometimes one may think life today is full of competition. Even me?

In the world today, it is a struggle and Darwin’s law of natural selection is at its maximum application!

The less fit are getting out of life’s struiggle as the more fit ones triumph more!

Daily, somone fails to move on steadliy with life and get’s weaker and weaker, creating a greater need for dependence as some one else becomes more and better placed to survice with greater independency.

How bad it is, to find yourself in need of someone to depend on, yet there’s none!

Recently, a very good friend of mine sent me links for jobs, so that I could get employed. Also, she thought I would send the links to my sisters and cousins(who are under my care) so that they could also get jobs and survive better.

This was really so good, a plan. But; ofcourse everyone knows that Jobs need qualifications.

A few people can apply a lot of faith and apply for a job requiring masters degree in public health, when one is just holding a diploma in Occupational therapy like me- no wonder no one has replied my job applications yet!

Actually, none of my sisters/cousins has done High School, unfortunately. My mother couldnot manage to take them further and all of them stopped before High school. And when I tried to have them study, I also failed. One of them is supposed to do pre-High school exams starting this friday, but I have a debt at her school that is going to cause her to miss the opportunity. That’s our life! That’s why i struggle so much for them, and for our family; I am the one who has by grace studied further, and you know I have also muissed opportunity to go further!! Keep us in your prayers.

Love and blessings;

Yours Stuart

NOTE: There are thiose who are weak and have been out competed out of the struggle of life; holding their hand up and to walk would make the creator smile; if one is capable of doing this!

Neglecting oters and running so fast and beating followers in miles may not make him say “well done!’
