How To Get Successful Life – As This Give you Happiness? - Remember that life is harmony – Not Money

full of harmony and balance. Although not always be what it is. If discord sense is our duty to seek a balance. The challenge increases when we are caught in a funk, and tend to decrease with a life perceived by our eyes. Thank God to receive a greater chance that the circumstances! Deadlock load the spirit of the theory of relativity, for the facts to think about the situation and create new opportunities.

Here are some suggestions to get around an impasse and find a way to happiness.

1). Remember that life is harmony

This is the first and most important element that should return to their conscience. Harmony is, if you realize it or not, never goes away. This is the beginning of life. Therefore, if your eyes seem to betray the harmony, then you need to start exploring new ways to reveal it. It is the path of curiosity and openness.

2). Disconnect expectations, re-evaluate their real needs

If your mind is not sharp, can not see the purpose of his heart. This temporary disability occurs, most often due to the expectations and goals that give your mind a sense of control over their environment. If the goals are important, no evidence was staying at the point of view of the tension. Adjust your expectations and to compare with the current vision and sense of accomplishment.

3). Do you understand the mechanics of life and consciousness of your thoughts

Life is a subtle flow of material (thoughts and feelings) did. His current accompanies his thoughts and feelings. This gives enormous power in the creative process of his own existence. What thoughts and feelings can be filtered, are the building blocks? The reality. Remember that while your mind can easily catch your conscious thought process, is powerless against the unconscious part of it. Introspective work is important to change your life. Neither more nor less.

4). Study of trends reveal their thoughts and sabotage

One of the reasons that we will be trapped by a lack of awareness and lack of accountability. Lack of awareness increased in number 3. The lack of accountability is the factor that the slow process of evolution. The change can only occur if one knows what will change will be, a situation, a bridge between what was and what will be and start working. Journal your thoughts for a week or more, and explore their own. You see, without trial. Watch your inclinations and disclosure of his eyes, the element of self-protection that prevents you from finding harmony today.

5). Learn to trust you

If we find a way that does not tend to choose, we help them on the open side of the road is removed. Listen to your inner voice and to communicate with the more subtle than they actually resonates with greater meaning and higher purpose. Set up with the truth that you and show you the sleep you are using. You are empowered with new possibilities. Write them down, despite his understanding that can be described as “ridiculous”, “irrelevant”, “unrealistic.” Remember there are dreams if you’re out of your mind, and go to get there if you want a chance, come back here.

The mind is a child trying to understand. The heart is wise, the joy of seeing. The soul is a leader who seeks the experience. Together they seek to

Peace isn’t something you ultimately receive when you slow down the pace of your life. Peace is what you’re capable of being and bringing to every encounter and event in the waking moments of your life. Being peaceful is an inner attitude that you can enjoy when you’ve learned to silence your incessant inner dialogue. Being peaceful isn’t dependent on what your surroundings look like. It seldom has anything to do with what the people around you think, say, or do. A noiseless environment isn’t a requirement.

St. Francis’s famous prayer states it better than I can: “Make me an instrument of your peace.” In other words, St. Francis wasn’t asking God to provide him with peace. He was asking for guidance to be more like the peace he trusted was his Source. Being peace is different from looking for peace.

This principle isn’t about merely choosing tranquil thoughts when you’re feeling frayed and anxious. I suggest picturing a container deep within yourself out of which all your thoughts flow. Inside of this container, at its very center, imagine a candle flame. You need to make a commitment that this flame in the center of the container holding all your thoughts will never, ever even flicker, although the very worst may go before you. This is your container of peace, and only peaceful thoughts can fuel the burning candle. You don’t need to change your thoughts as much as you need to learn to be an energy of peace lighting the way and attracting serene, harmonious thoughts and beings. In this way, you’ll become a being of peace.

As a being of peace, you make a huge impact on those around you. It’s almost impossible to be totally stressed out in the presence of someone who has opted to be peace. Peace is a higher and faster energy—when you’re being peace, just your presence alone will often nullify the uneasiness and tension in those around you. The secret of this principle is: Be the peace and harmony you desire. You cannot get it from anything or anyone else.

We cling to, "Separation." Division is the easiest tool of rule. "Unity," is the answer to conflict, division and jingoism in our global society.

How do the powerful maintain their position? Politicians and the Military control the media by broadcasting illusory division – black from white, gay from straight and nation from nation. Vested interests use separation propaganda to make money. For instance, we would have not guns to make if there were no borders between lands – unity would end conflict as we would no longer have, “The other,” to fight.

Image by Matt Stabile via Flickr | All People As One NO Division Shared Wealth

Us and Them

Here are three examples of separation mentality and how it makes money:

1. War. All wars are between distinct powers, e.g. India vs. Pakistan or Israel and Palestine. If the people of these countries thought about it – they are all human beings sharing this planet with no need to battle. An arms sale makes firms a lot of money that UNITY will take from these manufacturers of death.

2. Religion – Judaism vs. Islam is a prime note. Again separation is a tool to keep you bowed down and chanting. Let’s remind ourselves that both are simply creations of the imagination of ancient curmudgeons. Dogma is a clear rule when brainwashing and dividing. People toss coins to the passing bowl in churches in the name of a single religion opposed to another religion. Harmony would empower people to find their own spirituality in universal human hood without the need for venues and books.

3. Sex – Gay vs. Straight, Bisexual vs. Transsexual and many more, is a glittering example of division, to make cold hard cash. Cooked up in the writings of people in the past, today, sex-separation is the way we are, in Toto, controlled. Congressing in pan sexuality, in UNITY, relegates the pink dollar to the dustbin of history and a lot of lucre is lost.

“Solutions Solutions Solution!”

How do we construct UNANIMITY? What is the means to topple, “Separation Propaganda?” Answer! Simply change the way you think. Know in your heart we are all of the same ancestors, the same human family and we can all now fight labels for countries, peoples and skin. SIMPLY CHANGE YOUR MIND whenever you hear, read or talk LABELS for this is mental division and the reason we all are downtrodden.

Another one of my experiences at Occupy Ottawa.

It’s no secret that this is a beautiful November. In fact, I am writing this entry in my journal sitting sweaterless in the grass. The bustle of drums, media, children at play, occupiers and passerbyers swirl around and – life is good. Two posts into this blog and I already realize that I am perhaps not the best at providing regular, as they happen, updates of the movement. Life simply has too much subtext for me. I revel in the atmosphere and intimacies of exchange, feeling that therein lies the substance of existence.

In plain terms, I can say that in the last few days I have facilitated a healing circle for a younger brother Joshua who lost his father less than a week ago to cancer. I have collected wood for a wigwam from the forest of my roommates old childhood friend. Participated in a workshop on non-violent direct action, have talked to many curious citizens and comforted an Occupier who is experiencing massive backlash from his friends for participating in this.

At the same time I can say that I was not really present to the community. After a well intentioned conversation with my Rabbi friend, I was left feeling uneasy and confused. Am I being naive? Can we really accomplish everything we want- peace, harmony, understanding, love and truth? No doubt these are exceedingly ambitious and idealistic goals, but are they not possible? As it surely won’t be the end, can the Occupy movement at least be the beginning?

Must I leave, in lieu of “protecting myself”, the camp, to those people and forces who stand along the perimeter waiting, wishing for weakness and failure? Since the beginning of my stay here I have experienced such wonderful things. We’ve worked together, laughed together, cried together and grown together, but it’s also been so hard. If we’re here for peace and love, where is it? If, as the media says, we’re all a bunch of hippies, then why is there so much suffering…

These are trying times. Rising up, mass awakening and coming together is as globally prominent as the darkness that tries to control us. We stand at a crossroads. We need to stand together. That is what I realized after returning to camp yesterday morning. I don’t know where this whole thing is going or what my role will be, but I will be here until the end, and I will give everything I have.

My first night back at camp was a wonderous example of the strength required as well as the lengths we still have to go in acquiring harmony amongst our species. Three teenage girls arrived late into the evening wanting to stay over. They had run away from their group home and were refusing to go back. Obviously, this sparked a lot of concern among the people present – both for the safety of the girls and for the security of the camp. In the end, none of them stayed. One went home, one left and the one whom I volunteered to stay in my tent until the morning, when together we could figure out the best plan of action, got picked up by the police and was brought back to the house where yesterday she tried to commit suicide.

I don’t pretend to have the answer to these difficult situations. The young girl who was brought back home by police is here again today. She says she was kicked out and is going to stay at her boyfriend’s mom’s house. I do all I can for her. I give her a hug, offer my unending love and support – tell her that we are here at Confederation Park for her too. So that she won’t have to feel so alone. So that the people giving their lives to help others, like those working in group homes, don’t feel so unsupported.

I will be there for you. I will be here for you. I will not let you down.

Happy Holidays to all, when Holidays are supposed to fun, festive, creative, filled with positive vibes,. It you're faced with the opposite. STRESS level at its highest. During the Holidays? How can that get handled..

First, realize you can’t really please every body. Then lots of patience and tlc. Talking alot

with your family. Get in a support group on the addiction. And, lots of bonding and

togetherness. Lots of communication and listening. If you find your self concentrating to

much on other peoples attitudes. You’ll end up stressed. If talking to them one on one or

etc isn’t helping. And, they either become rude or already rude/. Kindly excuse yourself from

the situation, stepping outside/ another room/ etc. And, take a breather. If they presist on

being rude infront of the family ask them to stop and take a breather. And, inform him/ etc

that there is to be no grumpiness/attitude/ etc during the Holidays. No one should have

hear this type of conduct. The Holidays should be a joyous time for all members of the family

and friends, children,.

Listening and jamming on Christmas/.. music,. Getting ready for the Holidays. Suggesting a

healthier Thanksgiving potluck dinner is an option. Getting everyone involved. The same

with Christmas.

Going to the store is no exception. Everyone has a part of the Christmas list.

Ideas on Christmas decorations,. Making a list of options involving the whole

family. Taking turns on their options/suggestions.

If you have an addicted family member. Always consult with the addicted person

and their Doctor. Always keeping them in the loop of whats going on.

Making ground rules is always important. Respecting one another.

Letting your family know you love them all. And lots of hugs.

Smiles and a pat on the back is great a feeling.

Sometimes addiction is possibly depending on the person..

on lack of attention in unique situations. Or they could possibly be getting mocked

in unique situations and they don’t know whether to talk to someone. Or warped

humor done wrong. Its a good idea to try to talk and listen to your addicted family

member. Crying is always a good option in getting pain out. Being around the

battered family or friend in a positive setting. Knowing how to relate them in a

sensitive manner. Rx is always an option as well. Depending on the severity of

the matter. If you are going through a harsh divorce and you ex is giving you

a hard tiime. Get help and do it carefully to encourage the children if both of

you have any. And, always consider being the cool one. Your kids deserve it.

They are just as scared as you are.

ALSO, you should never have to do this by yourself. Seek help.

War and bloodshed.... was never and not is a means of achieving peace.

Draupadi laughed and the world changed. Yes… Draupadi’s laughter hurt Duryodhana’s ego and thus bred the feeling of jealousy and finally led to the battle of Kurukshetra. The Kaurava’s, being jealous of their cousins and out of greed to acquire more and more, in trying to satisfy their ego, waged war against their own family.

Ashoka, also known as “Abhipriya” – one loved by all, wanted not just love but also a vast territory. He wanted not only to rule over the hearts but also the lands of the people and the end result being the Kalinga war, leaving approximately 200,000 people dead and more wounded.

Samudragupta, known as the ‘King of the Seas’ proved his might and expanded his territory far and wide in the process killing thousands.

The 19 year old crown prince of Austria, Ferdinand Franz was killed by Gavrilo Princip who was believed to be mentally challenged, leading to the World War 1, killing 70 million people.

Hitler, who is believed to not having a normal upbringing, out of his extreme love for his country and the ego of his belonging to a superior race, finally led the world to the 2nd World War, again killing millions of innocent lives.

One day rose a man with his desire to make his religion the greatest of all and propagated Jihad, blasting the World Trade Center, killing almost 3000 innocent people.

Suddenly a mighty nation realizes that she needs to shoulder the responsibility of wiping out terror from the world and decides to rise against terror and attack Afghanistan and Iraq, in the process satisfying their ego by proving to the world the power of a super power.

Osama Bin Laden, inflicted wrongs on the world. Wrongs that deserves punishment. But does the punishment necessarily need to be in the form of killing, provong `Blood for Blood’.

Our past is full of examples and again man in the want of satisfying his ego, his desire or his greed has caused misery to himself and the world, be it Dushasan, Ashoka, Samudragupta or Bin Laden. But the question arises, “Is the man truly happy and peaceful after that?” Was Ashoka happy and at peace with himself after he won the battle of Kalinga? Did Samudragupta remain immortal forever?

By the end of the 2nd World War, Hitler had killed his wife, whom he is believed to have been greatly in love with. Was it this happiness and peace that he was looking for? Would he loose all that he did if he had been satisfied with Germany being a nation not wanting to expand the boundaries? Did Bin Laden kill thousands knowing that he would one day be brutally killed in full view of his 9 year old daughter? Can this daughter of Bin Laden ever forget the death of her father, whom she may have loved dearly, however cruel he may have been? Is killing an answer to killing? Can peace ever prevail on earth?

Today, man has all the materialistic pleasures, but does he have happiness and peace around? If it was, would we be going from pillar to post in search of peace, hearing discourses and seeking spiritual help? Even with all this, people seem to be restless, searching in vain for something. What is it that we are searching for? If we think deeply, it is the same that prince Siddhartha did, “PEACE”.

This peace is within us. We need to follow the path shown by Buddha, of identifying Trishna, that is the cause of Dukha and then seeking for Dukhanirodh, and thus achieving Dukhaniwaran. Only when each one of us finds this peace within us, can there be peace on earth.

As I begin this article, I would like to ask everyone reading it to complete the following statement: “If I could change the world, I would…“ What would you do if you could change the world? What would you make better about it? Does your response involve a personal, cultural or ethical value? Take a moment to write down your response to the question and refer to it occasionally as you read this article. Knowing how you can have a direct impact on others can bring about a change that could affect them in a dramatic way. In the same regard, knowing how you can directly impact another’s life can set the groundwork for a chain reaction to change the world as you see it.

Three Terms: Each related to one another and working in harmony

1. Action and Reaction

When we think of the term action and reaction as it applies to physics, we think of Sir Isaac Newton’s third law. This law states “To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction: or the forces of two bodies on each other are always equal and are directed in opposite directions.” In physics, for every action that occurs, there is an opposing reaction. However, applying the same law to the mental and emotional aspects of life can change the definition of action and reaction. We would understand that “for every action, there is the potential for an equally positive or, greater supporting, reaction.”

The altered action and reaction theory can become evident throughout our lives. Take a moment to look at how individuals treat you and how willing they are to cooperate with you. Treating somebody with respect and kindness through action can have a reaction of being treated with the same amount of respect or kindness in return. Show an individual that you are capable of remaining calm and are willing to work together in order to achieve a positive and mutually beneficial outcome to a situation, then the other individual involved is more likely to present the same tone and attitude in return. This has the capability of working in the opposing manner also. Disrespecting an individual or constantly degrading them will cause the individual to perform in the same way. Becoming angry, raising your voice and showing a lack of cooperation, will return the same results from others that are involved.

2. Cause and Effect

One way to look at cause and effect is to realize how you want others to act around you and treat you as an individual. Each of us needs to understand that we, as individuals, become the cause. Our own actions and the way we treat others has a direct effect on another’s actions and how they treat us. If we treat them with kindness, sincerity and respect, then we are providing the cause for others to do the same. Providing the cause will create an effect on others and has a direct impact on our ability to change the world as it directly corresponds to us. In the same regard, if we treat another in a disrespectful, insincere manner and with a lack of kindness, we tend to get the same in return. Understanding how our cause can have a direct positive or negative effect on our surroundings is the beginning of our understanding of how we can directly effect a change the world.

3. Become the Change

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world” – Gandhi

If we want to change our world and have others treat us in a specific manner, then we must become that change. If we want others to be more respectful of us, then we must become an example of the respect through action. I have heard the quote “what we surround ourselves with, we become.” This tells us that by surrounding ourselves with people that are generally happy and respectful, we will become happier and more respectful. If you look at this from a third person view, you realize that our surrounding have become the action, cause and change. Our surroundings are having a direct reaction, effect and change on our own self being.

I prefer to change that quote slightly to read “we surround ourselves with what we are.” Using this example, we don’t rely on others to be the action, cause or change. We rely on ourselves to be the action, cause and change to others. Simply by becoming happier about what we do and more respectful of others will create the change we are seeking. Others will react to the way we present ourselves, we will have a direct effect on them as individuals and we will initiate a change by becoming the change.

Our potential for change

Once we realize our potential to create a specific reaction, effect or change in others, we will have acquired the knowledge of how to change the world. We will understand how a single individual can have an impact on others around them. The same actions that have brought about hate, discrimination and general disrespect for another has the ability to create the opposite effect. The actions that were used to make an individual rude or degrading could have the same individual become friendlier and more supportive through our own actions. Through our ability to love, accept and be respectful of others, we can change the world. The first thing to understand is that changing the world starts with changing your own surroundings. Changing the world begins with the individual and creates a chain reaction to those that surround us. As you look back on the original question that I asked “If I could change the world, I would…” it is my hopes that you now finish the statement with “start with myself.”

A guitar that I found one day.

I found a guitar one day at Wal-Mart. It is a mid 40’s guitar but i have no idea about what brand it is. Also when I found it it had to nasty breaks in the back and had been sitting out in the weather for two days.

This guitar is a mid 1940’s classical archtop with a sunburst finish and it is missing its pickguard. This guitar “Mud” as I have deamed it was in bad shape when i found it. It had two narly cracks in the back paneling that were all the way from the base of the body to the neck of the guitar and had horrible tuning keys on it. The cracks in the guitar were fixed by a local guitar shop. Im still working on getting replacement keys for it so I can tune it easier and dont have to fight with the keys every time it falls a little out of tune.

Also, i have nol idea of the maker of this guitar. The shop that fixed it said that because the name was cut out of the headstock and the sticker in the soundhole had been covered with stain or something that this guitar had probably been stolen in its lifetime. I dont expect to ever get rid of it I plan to keep it in the family for awhile. If you know anything about this guitar I’d love to hear it..

please comment and tell me what you think.

A journal entry about my experience at the National Rainbow Gathering in Gifford Pinochet Forest.

Moving from national forest to national forest, a loosely affiliated group of people that refer to themselves as the Rainbow Family, have provoked curiosity—from scholars to the homeless all over the world for forty years. Their ideaologies—peace, harmony, freedom and natural living—are similar to those of the sixties counter-culture. I recently visited Gifford Pinochet National forest, in Washington state, for one of their annual gatherings. The experience was one of excitement and learning.

After my long trip to Portland, Oregon; a few buses, and a few hitchhiked rides later I found myself exhausted from walking, glowing from inebriation and cold from the forty degree late June, Washington air. Though it had been a long trip, I shook off my discomforts, and was suddenly stunned as I observed the new environment. The parking area—a gravel road with many off shoots—was packed with tie dye Volkswagen vans, and buses, along with many cars, the Junkers and the luxurious. News crews, police, and forest rangers could be spotted here and there, and attendees of many classes, were all about.

As I walked down from the trail head, complete strangers were welcoming me home and telling me that they loved me. Although it was strange, I responded with a more quiet and awkward ”I love you too”—and in my head, a voice saying “maybe”. I smiled and moved along, After several odd encounters with these loving strangers.

While walking through the trail, leading to the “main circle” I spotted many camps and unconventional kitchens, beclouded by conifers, with the exception of dark blue tarps strewn about. Cardboard signs Labeled camppaths:Tea Time, O.B. Camp, Hobo Alley, Polar Bear, and on and on; each with there own purpose. Tea, coffee, pastries, popcorn and even herbal medication were provided, and all you need is a “blisk” or a cup to put it in or lungs to inhale.

There isn’t a monetary system there. Everything you can get and everything that you can push is done through bartering. I was excited about this. You can move up withitems fairly easy if you just have the motivation to yell, and walk around for a bit. One of the easiest ways—If you do not have many items withyou to trade—is through what is called a “random pocket trade”. You can take any small item in your pocket, yell the magic words, and catch a “fish” that will trade you something random in their pockets. Sometimes you end up witha useless nothing, and sometimes you end up with a good tradable item. I did this often, because I was one of the many that came unprepared. I noticed this way of bartering while camping in Hobo Alley withthe rest of the strays of the gathering. I started mimicking the strategy, will the small beads I had unintentionally brought withme. I ended up with many different random items: bigger beads, candies or “zoo-zoos”, string, coins, a little Buddha statue, and even pocket trash a couple of times. It was exciting and new, and I became addicted to it.

Everyday I spent there, from June 28 to July 8th, was musical. Drums, flutes, didgeridoos, guitars, banjos, violins, saws, and even some spoons permeated the air, in colorful patterns. These “monsters” and “dirty hippies”, as they are often called, were pretty talented. I would often sit by the “main circle” at night and stare into the fire, imagining that the music, growing louder, held sway over the fire. It seemed mystical, and at the same time I could imagine how the animals might find it daunting, and stayed as far away as possible. I could picture them all circling around the area, far away from the noise, with their gleaming eyes piercing the dark, just like in some cartoon, or cheesy horror movie. Nothing seemed to matter though. The stresses of society were slowly leaving me. I was starting not to think about it anymore. The only things that mattered were the next trade, the next kitchen, the next fire, the next drum circle and the next breath. It was a feeling of aliveness, and not many said it, but everyone knew it. Beautiful. So much so, that I didn’t think about all of the trash that we creatures were creating.

Trash was the one big problem I noticed, with this event. When you’re having a party in a delicate National Forest, and invite twenty to twenty-five thousand of your ”friends” and “family”, realize that things will get destroyed, and there will be a lot of trash. This became apparent to me, only after I left the forest. Even as I passed a fifty foot long snake, ten to twelve foot high, pile of garbage, I didn’t think about it. I was thinking too much about how society would feel again after being in this magnificent place with all of these extraordinary people that deem society, capitalism, and cities as the wrong way. I understood the reason they felt this, especially after my experience. There was a happiness there; a freedom, that you don’t usually feel in a big city, with a big job, and a big house, with the long arm of the law. I saw how these things could become burdens, and understood them quite well.

They did as much as they could do to clean. This required a specific group of people to pick up trash, and even asking people to stuff trash—if they were to see it on the ground—in their pockets. They did this from dusk until dawn. After having twenty-thousand people in the Forest; eating, drinking, crapping, and cooking in all day and night long, it becomes hard to manage. Everything there was wonderful, and it felt great, but to know that something so delicate and beautiful as the forest was being affected, it became difficult to understand what was truly right.

As a few days passed, after I had left the Gifford Pinochet Forest behind I thought about the way of the world—surfaced again—and the things I had learned at the gathering. The harmony and music was beautiful. The landscape and people were wonderful. The vibes and visuals were mystical. And overall, the lifestyle and ideas were lucid. I look back and still see myself there with, no clue, staring into a drum controlled fire, and a smile on my face. Though I hope these events will continue, because they are fun, and educational; I hope that they will eventually move into habitats that are more resilient to human activity and consumption. Overall it was a good experience, and one worth the curiosity; that needs much consideration about location, and fragility. I learned a lot about the possible peace between human beings; happiness without money and the enjoyment of nature; the thrill of danger, and the disappointment of waste. Maybe one day we can all learn.
