Vietnam: The Lost War
The United States engaged in a war that did not in any way endanger the lives of American citizens. Even the foreign affairs agency admitted that Vietnam did not inflict any harm on Americans. However, the idea of spreading communism is enough to send Americans to war. After years of peace the American government shatters everything when they began to ship soldiers off to war. Along with my disapproval of the war, Americans also did not want the war to go on. This can be seen at the Kent University incident where students were so upset by the war that they began to burn down buildings. The power behind anti war is very strong and is something that I agree with.
