The word community has ceased to exist; it seems people
would rather look after themselves than help someone else out. Selfishness is
common as of late, there are a few exceptions, the selfless people who do
anything to help others out.

I feel lost; so much time lately has been spent thinking why
people do certain things, why certain things happen. It pains me sometimes how
people are expected to conform to what’s ‘cool’ and if they don’t they’re
rifled for it, for some reason I just can’t work that out, originality should
be praised not scolded. I’m surrounded by so many people and I just can’t help
thinking that hardly any of them would help me out if I needed something, apart
it’s much too late for things to be saved and this despairing attitude does not

This is meant to help those of you who have a problem with watching porn.

Pornography can be very addicting. At first you may watch once or twice a month… but then it starts burning into part of your reward cycle in your brain. You began to want it more and more up until you can’t go one day with out it. This is why pornography is bad. There is not much wrong with masturbation, except that its a sin for some religions such as Christianity. But porn does and can ruin your life. You become so dependant on it that you begin to stop caring for things or forget about your loyalties to your current partner. You begin to have strong sexual desires and you search for something better each day. If this is you right now… this is your notifier that you really need to put some effort into stopping. Don’t think “oh ill just do it this one last time and will never do it again…” because that’s not true. I have learned the hard way that its either NOW or never. Some people don’t get far into the addiction thus it is easy for them to get out. But most people go deeper and deeper each day. Remember this: every single time you do it again, the farther away you are from turning around.

Pornography is said to be a healthy masturbatory aid. But in reality, porn is a very addictive mental drug. It can be more addictive than smoking or drinking for some people. The only way your going to stop is with help from the outside. There are only a few people in the world that have forced them selves out just by saying no. But this is not the case for most people. There are many solutions. To name a few: Give you self a positive attitude. Think about your family or friends. When you watch porn, you are betraying them. When you wake in the morning, say to yourself ” Okay, its a new day and there is no way I am going to let porn destroy my life. Another way that helps to get out of the addiction is tell someone. Your close friend or partner is likely to understand. Tell them when hey are in a good mood and make a plan to how your going to stop. The first thing you can do is to have someone set a password on the computer and not tell you so that when your alone, your not tempted. Speaking of which, try to never be alone in the computer room. Take notice that you usually start getting cravings when you alone. Do you best to avoid this situation and it will help you allot. The last way that I am going to share is get rid of the source. If its the computer, get programs that block bad sites, or even batter, get rid of the computer entirely. If its magazines, burn them. If its tapes, burn them and smash them with joy. If its anything else, obliterate it. There are different methods for getting out, but remember this: its either NOW or never. I wish the best of luck to all of you that have fallen into the trap.

A few tips how you can get a "C" to an "A".

There are a lot of Highschools and Middleschoolers who do not know what to do in order to get good grades. Parents who are reading this should follow these simple steps to help your children get straight A’s.

1. Do not let them do their homework with a computer/phone/electronic device nearby. This will obviously distract the student to get off task from what they are supposed to do. Make your kids study at somewhere more quiet such as a local library or maybe in a peaceful room.

2. Try to help your children as much as you can (for ex. studying for a test, helping them memorize vocab words, etc.). This will really help the student get good grades because recently it has been scientifically proved that kids who study on their own usually end up getting a lower grade on a test or quiz compared to someone who studied on it with a friend or parent.

3. Do not let your children “hang out” with their friends too often. (The Maximum time to let your kids play with their friends each week should be: 6 hours). If kids are with their friends more than once a week it may lead to your kid in-completing his/her homework on time or having enough time to study on a test in the future.

4. Study for a certain test in the future little by little instead of studying for the whole thing the day before. Here is an example:

(TEST ON FRIDAY; TODAY IS MONDAY)

MONDAY-WEDNESDAY: Spend about 30 brief minutes in these 3 days

THURSDAY: Spend an hour (Look over all the things you went over the last few days)

FRIDAY: You will get an A on the test/quiz no doubt.

Despite what many might think, Gage is well known across hundreds of nations all over the world. Gage has been around for several centuries and has a very important meaning in the lives of many. It would be safe to assume that Gage is going to be around for a long time and have an enormous impact on the lives of many people.test for introduce3

Social & Cultural Factors

Gage has a large role in American Culture. Many people can often be seen taking part in activities associated with Gage. This is partly because people of most ages can be involved and families are brought together by this. Generally a person who displays their dislike for Gage may be considered an outcast.

Economic Factors

It is not common practice to associate economics with Gage. Generally, Gage would be thought to have no effect on our economic situation, but there are in fact some effects. The sales industry associated with Gage is actually a 2.3 billion dollar a year industry and growing each year. The industry employs nearly 150,000 people in the United States alone. It would be safe to say that Gage play an important role in American economics and shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Environmental Factors

After a three month long research project, I’ve been able to conclude that Gage doesn’t negatively effect the environment at all. A Gage did not seem to result in waste products and couldn’t be found in forests, jungles, rivers, lakes, oceans, etc… In fact, Gage produced some positive effects on our sweet little nature.

Political Factors

Oh does Gage ever influence politics. Last year 5 candidates running for some sort of position used Gage as the primary topic of their campaign. A person might think Gage would be a bad topic to lead a campaign with, but in fact with the social and environmental impact is has, this topic was able to gain a great number of followers. These 5 candidates went 4 for 5 on winning their positions.

Conclusion

Gage seem to be a much more important idea that most give credit for. Next time you see or think of Gage, think about what you just read and realize what is really going on. It is likely you under valued Gage before, but will now start to give the credited needed and deserved

A little story that got out too damn late.

Hey there guys, this is Alyssa Bustamante

She seems harmless right? Just your average teen kid. Yet, like many of us out here in the world, she wears a mask. Unveiled, this is what lies beneath it.

Your thoughts at the moment, “Oh wow, would a troubled looking child”. And you know what? Your right. This is the face of a murderer. At the age of 15 years old, Alyssa strangled and stabbed her 9 year old neighbor, prematurely ending her life. Despicable yes. But I hold a soft spot for her in my heart. Hold your stones ladies and gentlemen, an explanation is on it’s way.

Alyssa comes from a ravaged home. Her father was in prison for the most of her life and her mother abandoned her during her childhood. As if that wasn’t enough, she had to fight depression all through her life (probably alone for the most part). She has tried to kill herself multiple times using painkillers and razors are not stranger to this girls body. Scars and bloody tracings are carved into the memory of her body. Etched into her arm is a powerful word called “Hate”. How disgusting right? I mean, God she has issues! She could never be attuned to the way normal people you or me, right? If you agreed with those false statements, your something of a douche. If you put a mirror in front of me and peered hard enough, you could some parts of Alyssa on my face.

People like Alyssa are always tossed aside by our biased ass society. Cast aside for having different thoughts and experiences, people like her tend to turn to other methods to feel accepted. Drugs, hanging with tough crowds or even self mutilation. They feel alone, like no one understands the daily smothering of hurt they have to go through. They feel trapped in deep dark hole with no way to get out. Minutes feel like hours, hours feel like days and days turn to years. The will to live is extinguished by dark clouds that hover above almost daily. Without those “methods” we mentioned earlier or a really good friend, something bad usually tends to happen. Those of us that our lucky enough to get help, usually get the help we don’t need. Medicine is prescribed and things look hopeful, right? ERRRR, wrong. America seems to think that medicine is the cure all for mentally ill people. Hell, for anything really. But it’s not and in this case I’d go as far to say it helped Alyssa to make her decision to kill. People like her need love. Love is a damn good cure but no ones willing to show any to the people who need it the most. Our social ladder feeds attention/love/praise to the prettiest or the “coolest” people on the ladder, and others like Alyssa are shunned to the bottom where they rot. Believe it or not, I’ve been in a Alyssa’s shoes. But by the grace of (insert Higher Power you worship) I found the courage and power to flush away my “medicine” and to be a stronger person. If you went back in time and told me who I’d become in the future, I would have scoffed at you and turned away. I’m one of the lucky ones who got saved. I couldn’t have pulled myself out of that dark pit without the help of my friends and family though. Alyssa’s been charged with murder and the justice systems probably just going to lock her up til she croaks. Yes, she committed a crime and must receive her due punishment…but someones got to see this for what it is. She needs help beyond punishment…and she damn well isn’t going to find any in prison. I can only hope people will read this and change their ways and maybe another Alyssa can be pulled away from his or her destructive path.I’m not writing about this story to try and get sympathy for what I’ve gone through, but to make people aware of people like this. For they are human just like you are me. Never forget that, they are human.

“Judge me for who I was, I care not. For I am stronger now than I could have ever imagined. I will continue to grow even more powerful, while I use this strength to uplift my brothers and sisters around me. This slave will become a king.”

Snow :D.

In order to understand our selves, we must first understand snow. The constantly changing fashionable take on snow demonstrates the depth of the subject. Though snow is a favourite topic of discussion amongst monarchs, presidents and dictators, its influence on western cinema has not been given proper recognition. Often it is seen as both a help and a hinderence to global commercial enterprises, obviously. Relax, sit back and gasp as I display the rich tapestries of snow.

Social Factors

Society is a human product. When Sir Bernard Chivilary said ‘hounds will feast on society’ [1] he created a monster which society has been attempting to tame ever since. Difference among people, race, culture and society is essential on the survival of our world, however snow irons out misconceptions from our consciousness.

Some analysts have been tempted to disregard snow. I haven’t. To put it simply, people like snow.

Economic Factors

Is unemployment inherently bad for an economy? Yes. Of course, snow fits perfectly into the Lead-a-Duck-to-Water model of economics.

Housing
Prices

snow

How do we explain these clear trends? Recent studies indicate that housing prices cannot sustain this instability for long. The financial press seems unable to make up its mind on these issues which unsettles investors.

Political Factors

Politics was once a game featuring competitors from elite classes. Politicians find it difficult to choose between what has become known in politics as – ‘The two ways’ – pre and post war views of snow.

Consider this, spoken at the tender age of 14 by a legend in their own life time, Noah Woodpecker ‘Taking a walk across hot coals will inevitably hurt your feet.’ [2] Primarily, he is referring to snow. If I may be as bold as to paraphrase, he was saying that ‘political ideals are built on the solid cornerstone of snow.’

Where do we go from here? Only time will tell.

Conclusion

In summary, snow plays a large part in the lives of all. It sings a new song, ensures financial stability, though snow brings with it obvious difficulties, it is truly snow.

The final say goes to the award winning Whoopi Lopez: ‘You win some, you loose some, but snow wins most often.’ [3]

There are many times when you might need a solicitor, here are five that you might not have thought of.

When looking for a solicitor or legal advice try and find a trusted person like Newcastle solicitors or someone who deals with it in your area. There should be plenty to chose from and you should try and go on word of mouth or recomendations

Divorce

The details of a divorce are stressful and emotional. Separation of assets, children and a shared

life is difficult and if both parties are not on good terms it can be even harder. Getting the right

legal advice from a solicitor with experience in divorce can make the whole process smoother and

easier for everyone involved. Solicitors can give advice on what rights you have, help you reach a

settlement agreeable to both parties and write all the legal documentation which makes a divorce

recognised and final.

Making a will

A will is very important if you want to make sure your family gets everything they are entitled to

after you’re gone. There are a number of legal issues which must be dealt with when putting your

will together which mean it is much better to consult a solicitor at the beginning of the process. They

can help you to write the will out using the correct terms so that it is clear and legal. An experienced

will writing solicitor would also inform you of any inheritance taxes which affect your family. If

you are elderly or infirm, they can help you through the process ensuring you have made sound

decisions and have a viable, legal will.

Claiming compensation

After an accident or injury you may think that there is blame to place and compensation to be

sought. You should first call a solicitor for some advice on how to deal with your claim in an official

capacity. The claim may be against an employer, fellow road user, or unknown third party and for

a number of reasons. Perhaps you would like compensation for being unable to work and loss of

salary, maybe you were left with permanent health issues after a car accident. It is best to talk

through the details of your claim with a solicitor and be advised on the claims procedure before you

embark on what can be a lengthy process.

Buying a house

When buying a home you need to employ a solicitor to carry out conveyancing. This is when

the titles of a property are signed over to a new owner and must be completed by a licensed

professional to make the sale legal. Aside from this necessity it is a good idea to contact a solicitor as

soon as you are certain you will place an offer on a house, to ensure you have the right legal advice

and help in place should there be any complications during the buying process.

Issues at work

If you are having issues at work and feel that your employer is not treating you as they should it

is hard to know what rights you have. Contacting a solicitor is the best thing to do first in these

situations as they will listen to your worries and help you to decide if you have a case to take further.

An employment solicitor will also help you to decide which route to take to best solve your problems

at work. This could mean employing them to undergo legal proceedings against your employer on

your behalf, or pointing you in the direction of a mediation service if relations have broken down.

The only power people have over you is that which you give them. Taking back you own life is with in your power.

We work to live and create a acceptable life for ourselves and our loved ones. Since we spend so much time at our work we tend to build relationships with our co-workers, unfortunately not all of them good, but we all strive to make the best of our situations and our surroundings. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we still seem to find ourselves at the shortest end and our work lives slowly spiral down into our worst nightmare?

In such a case the first thing to do is evaluate you own situation. If you feel you are being bullied, then you probably are. There are many types of workplace bullies, but the worst must be the brutish overbearing manager. The reason why I consider him to be the worst is because he holds so much power over you and can really upset your life for you.

The criteria for being bullied are miles long, it’s up to you to research and find out if you are being wronged, and you deserve to know. For instance, if your boss shouts at you in front of colleagues or clients just because he feels he has a right to, then you are being bullied. When only you or a handful of people get treated in a degrading manner but not your other colleagues, then you are being bullied, and discriminated against. When the first thing you face in the morning is a belligerent boss taking out their home stress on you, you are being bullied and you should take steps to ensure that it stops.

Being bullied should not be taken lightly. There are many subtle consequences that could change your life irrevocably. Loosing income due to absence and poor health is just the tip of the iceberg. The family is usually the first to suffer and unfortunately they usually suffer the most. If you wake up negative or you don’t want to go to sleep at night because you don’t want to face a new day, then you should realise that there is something seriously wrong. That is no kind of life to live.

Unfortunately some people are more prone to being bullied than others. This is because one person can hardly afford to turn the whole work place against him or her. So who would then be considered prime bully fodder? Well that’s easy, if you fear you could be bullied, then you can. The reason I say this is because a person that is strong enough to withstand bullying wouldn’t even consider it. Bullies follow a certain path. They choose the quiet and reserved people, because they are so reserved. Bullies hate conflict more than most. They will avoid confrontation and their chosen victims will more than likely be the type of person who refuses to make a fuss. Also people who are low down in the ranks and very dependent on their jobs would be a clear target, which is why it is best not to show you dependence too clearly.

When you have established your position as that of a bully victim then the only decision is which rout best suits your needs. There are so many ways to stop this menace that once you take the first step it almost becomes funny. The main thing to remember is that you are ultimately dealing with people and you have the same rights as they, if not more so. So, first of all, get your mind-set right. You’re only a victim if you want to be one. Find out about the laws in your country. If you have a HR department, contact them to get the relevant information pertaining to your situation. You could also try your union or a professional councillor to get information on how to proceed.

One way to deal with the bully is of course to “man up” and face the person on your own. At first this might appear to be impossible, but you mustn’t let your fears rule your life. Scrounge up every last morsel of courage and face your demons. If you record the whole conversation and remember to keep cool, chances are you will shame the offender into an apology and your life might take a dramatic turn for the better.

Otherwise, use the more formal rout and make a written grievance. Remember that a written grievance should contain all the facts accompanied with dates, times and possible witnesses. When going this way an independent person will investigate the allegation and report the findings to the relevant people. Your boss, or his boss, will then meet out punishment as necessary.

The reason why we have this problem of people using and abusing other people is very simple. People use other people for certain things; to feel better about themselves; for financial gain; to hide their own incompetence and a million more reasons. The only question that should matter is, are you a victim or not?

If you work for an intelligent competent company they will have no time for irrational behaviour from their managerial staff and will quickly put an end to it. If they don’t, and leave you to the offenders mercy, then they have just proven to you that they do not deserve you and you should take this as an opportunity to move on to greener pastures and remind them of the saying, it’s too late for regrets.
