This is an attempt to gather and compare the net-worth and fortunes of historical figures against one another. Inflation and other factors devalue currency over time; economies of different regions over time periods; and economies’ produced goods, commodities, and services over time. These are from what I have been able to discover are the wealthiest people of all time. I may have missed a few but these prove to be the most interesting and there stories all have one thing in common. All had vast fortunes and all had vast power.
