In the 1920s, the economy was booming and the stock market was upward-spiraling, wealthy and dynamic. However, while the Industrialized areas of the United States were prosperous and having the "time of their life," the farmers and Rural areas had the opposite effect. The economy soon collapsed. A presidential candidate, Hoover accepted the presidency on March 4, 1929, even though he was amidst the problems of the Great Stock Market Crash that led to the sorrowful Great Depression. President Hoover now must try to save the disheveled nation, while it is still breathing…
