It is completely amazing the kinds of sexual sins occurring in today's world. Incest, lesbianism, homosexuality, sodomizing of female partners, sex with animals, are just but a few.

Imagine a father raping his three-year-old daughter! Try also to imagine a father, who for years, abuses his three daughters and fathering children with them!

The solution is The Holy Bible, which provides us with all the answers we need for today's living, and for life eternal.

Japheth, the Incestuous Father

Japheth divorced his wife, Georgita, in November 2001. He kept his three daughters, Georgette, Sarah and Faith, who were at that time aged twelve, nine, and six respectively.

It was his practice to have sex with each of his daughters at will. He even went as far as sodomizing them. As of November 2009, when the girls were aged twenty, seventeen and fourteen respectively, he had fathered four children by them. Georgette had a son and a daughter, while Sarah and Faith had daughters.

Jane, the Rape Victim

Jane, a Management Consultant in one of the leading management consultancy firms in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya in East Africa, would once in a while work late. One evening, in mid-July 2010, she worked till 10.00pm. She drove towards her house, which was only five kilometers from their offices.

When she was just about to turn at the t-junction leading to her house, a car swiftly overtook and blocked hers. Two pistol-wielding gentlemen from that car, came to her and ordered her to give them the car key. They tied her legs and hands, then bundled her into the boot of her car.

They drove her to a forest, where they untied her, thereafter raping her in turns. She was given her car-keys, and led to her car, and told to drive home as fast as she possibly could.

Jerome, the Abusive Boss

Jerome was Susan’s boss at a building and construction company. Susan was a top performing secretary in that organization. Susan and Jerome got along fairly well. However, Jerome had, for over eight months, wanted to sleep with Susan, a single mother, having separated from Geoff, the husband. Susan’s response had always been a big NO.

Jerome, himself a married man, was apparently burning with passion, and he really wanted Susan. One day, Jerome, the director, told Susan that, unless she would sleep with him, he would sack her.

Susan was in a dilemma. She wondered how, once sacked, she would pay rent, buy food and clothing, and take her three children to school, as well as pay for her own college fees. Abel, the first-born son, was set to join university in just a few months.

Owing to Susan’s silence, as she went through an endless tunnel of darkness, Jerome, in mid-October 2009, went ahead and drafted a dismissal letter, and delivered it to Susan. Susan was shocked and dumbfounded. Her world fell apart. Jerome made sure that he delivered the letter at 6.30pm, long after all the other employees had left the office.

Susan was hysterical, asking how Abel would go to university, how she would pay school fees for the other two, how she would pay for her own fees in college, and how her family would survive. Jobs are quite hard to come by in Kenya.

Jerome answered saying that the letter could be discarded the moment she would say “yes” to sleeping with him.

Out of desperation, Susan gave in. That marked the beginning of endless sexual exploitation against Susan. Her mind was tortured.

The Lesbian Sisters

Lydia, Ruth and Stacy were sisters aged eighteen, fifteen and twelve respectively. Lydia and Ruth got into the mischief of fondling Stacy’s genitals, stimulating her using their tongues, and sucking her breasts, and asking her to do the same to each of them. Lydia and Ruth were full-fledged lesbians, and partners to one another.

They also hooked Stacy up with a neighbor’s daughter, Samantha, who was fourteen. They ordered the two to “make love” using the techniques that Stacy had been taught.

Lydia and Ruth would order the two young girls to watch DVDs that would show them more techniques. They would switch partners. More potential partners were recruited. Each new recruit, though at first reluctant, would be up to the task after some grilling.

What is the world coming to? Have people lost their sanity? Is there an evil spirit hovering around the world today? Do people still have a conscience?

The answers to all the above questions are found in the Holy Book, the Holy Bible. Below are the principles regarding sexuality, as reported in the Holy Bible:

Sex was of God’s making. (Genesis 2:24)

Sex is meant for married male-female couples, in holy matrimony, and meant, not only for procreation, but also for enjoyment, each seeking to satisfy the other:

Leviticus      18:16;

Leviticus      18:22;

Hebrews      13:4;

I Kings 14:24

For reasons of prayer and fasting, couples are allowed to abstain from sex for a short while, before getting back together:

I Corinthians 7:3, 5

Sex with animals is forbidden

Exodus 22:19

Sexual immorality begins with evil thoughts.

Matthew 15:19

Sexual immorality leads to death. This is true today, following the coming of the dreadful HIV, leading to the killer AIDS.

I Corinthians 10:8

The choice as regards whether you choose life or eternal death cannot be imposed on anyone. The Holy Bible tells us that God loved the world so much that He sent His One and Only Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

The best choice you can make is to choose Jesus Christ.

Different cultures have different ways of expressing themselves but we all have universal needs - like using the facilities, the loo, the restroom, the toilet, the bathroom, whatever you want to call it!

We’ve all seen them, weird signs in the bathroom. Sometimes restaurants get cute and use other names for men and women like lads and lassies. We’ve all seen signs about washing your hands or ads for various products. Or those symbols that are supposed to clarify things for people of every language except sometimes they don’t make any sense at all.

By Flickr User Carbon NYC

This is one of the weirdest and creepiest signs I’ve ever seen. I’m hoping that it was supposed to be a rendering of a Dad taking his child to the bathroom in New York. It does sort of scream out as being a advertisement for Man-Boy Love or something like that though. And the really weird part is the alien arm. Who’s arm looks like that? Is it a tentacle? What the heck???

By Flickr User bitshaker

This is a sign at the California Adventure park but it still makes very little sense. Is it the washroom? Is it the fish gutting room? What does the men’s bathroom sign look like?

By Flickr User Matt Perreault

Here’s a great example of when vandalism improves a sign. It’s just a regular bathroom sign for employees of a restaurant but someone’s has cranked it up a notch. Wash your Hands because “Remember: You are gonna be some zombie’s food!”. You definitely want to be nice and squeaky clean for those crazy zombies. I know how much they hate dirty hands!!! I guess Oregon is full of zombies!

By Flickr User arvindgrover

Here’s another bathroom reminder for employees to clean up after using the facilities. This restaurant is a little more lax than others though as you only have to have one clean hand. Maybe it’s Captain Hook’s restaurant. You’d think they’d also mention keeping your hook clean though.

By Flickr User Cote

People normally just ignore those lame “employee of the month award” posters but this one is unforgettable. Great job Andrea Perry!!! I’m not sure this is how I want my hard work to be recognized… I guess this is what it feels like to be a pee-on. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself! At least it turned the tiny airplane bathroom into something funny.

By Flickr User indy138

Here’s a really high tech toilet found in a hotel in Japan. This one’s not really funny, just very different and cool. I do like the illustration of the spray function though with the round derriere being sprayed by water. Not only does it have a spray function, there’s also a bidet, automatic deodorizer and even heated seats!

By Flickr User chadmiller

I understand how paper towel might end up in a toilet but someone’s “undergarment”? At least the paper towel is garbage after it’s use. Well, maybe some people’s underwear are garbage after use too — yuck! I especially like the quizzical expression on the guy’s face that’s reflected in the mirror beside the picture. It’s like he’s really pondering the meaning of the sign.

By Flickr User arvindgrover

Ever feel like someone’s watching you and judging you? This urinal stall in Korea might make some a little bit uncomfortable. At least it has the little walls on the side to keep other bathroom users from view. I never really understood why men’s urinals are just lined up along the wall in open view of everyone else. It’s like a horse trough or something. I’d definitely get performance anxiety. And if you thought this one was bad, check out the shot below…

By Flickr User joeltelling

This doesn’t even have the tiny privacy walls. Hysterically funny. I’m not sure if these women are impressed or disgusted. The one at the far end with the binoculars probably doesn’t get used that much. Maybe these pics are there to get the “users” to be more tidy when using the facilities? You know how fussy New Yorkers can be!

By Flickr User gruntzooki

OMG, maybe this bathroom needs some judgemental pictures posted above the toilet as well! How bad would it have to be before you’d post the sign and then underline all the words with a fluorescent hi-liter? Maybe it’s a house full of teenage boys!

By Flickr User Hobbes vs Boyle’s

This seems like a pretty normal bathroom until you look closely at the sign. Occupancy by more than 918 persons is dangerous and unlawful. Just how big is this bathroom? I’d definitely be afraid of getting lost in there!

By Flickr User sevitzdotcom

Whistle while you work might also be a good choice! Absolutely hysterical sign found in a Canadian bathroom (where else?!) but a great suggestion to keep people from walking in on you while you’re in the middle of something. I’m not sure that using the bathroom would really put me in a “seasonal” mood.

By Flickr User mandydale

This is a really cute depiction of people who have really, REALLY got to use the bathroom found in Sweden. We’ve all been there, done that! Too bad it doesn’t show them doing the pee pee dance as well. I hope they make it in time!

By Flickr User CosmoPolitican

This sign found in a bathroom in Amsterdam really makes me wonder. It’s never even occurred to me to take a shower on the floor of a bathroom! And I’m always worried about the shower curtain being “just so” so that no water leaks out onto the floor. At least they “kindly request” using the bathtub instead of the floor. I might be a little more rude about it!

By Flickr User mind on fire

This strange symbol was found on the door of a Paris cathedral. I’m not sure if it’s depicting a business man getting a cell phone call or if it is the international sign for gastrointestinal distress that the photographer titles the picture as. Or maybe someone is shooting tiny bullets from his rear pocket. It could be anything really, lol.

It was 1692, and nobody was safe from being accused of a witch. This was the year the Salem witch trials began, which were a series of killings of people because they were thought to be witches. What caused the Salem witch trial hysteria of 1692? Some say it was caused by ergot, a poisonous fungus. Others say it was because four teenage girls wanted fame. Some even said it was because people wanted land.

Some scientists say that ergot poisoning caused all of the hysteria. In Linda Caporael’s article, Ergotism: the Satan Loosed in Salem?, it says that ergot grows on a lot of different cereal grains, especially rye. Rye was a main source of food during the time period of the trials. Ergot grows especially well in warm, damp, rainy springs and summers, which was what the climate was like at that time. Some symptoms of ergotism are hallucinations, mania, psychosis, etc. All of these symptoms were recorded during the Salem trials.

Land-ownership also could have caused the hysteria. In The Enduring Vision, the richest Salem residents lived on the eastern side of the village. The poorer residents lived on the western side. The eastern side had richer soil and benefited from Salem Town’s flourish, since the town was closer to that side. The western half had less fertile soil, and was segregated from Salem Town. In the book Salem Possessed: The Social Origins of Witchcraft, written by Paul Boyer and Stephen Nissenbaum, there is a map that shows where the accusers, accused, and accused witches lived. Most of the accusers lived on the west side, and most of the accused and the witches lived on the east side. Some historians believed this is because the accusers wanted the accused hanged so that their lands could be taken, since it was fertile and closer to Salem Town.

Another possibility is that the “afflicted girls”, four teenagers, faked being tortured by a witch. Teenage girls were the lowest level in the social classes of Salem. In the book Salem Witchcraft, written by Charles W. Upham, it says it is possible that because of being looked down upon, they could have wanted to be famous and faked it all. After seeing how successful their plan was, they continued. It was recorded that once or twice they messed up, but were not caught because everyone was confused.

There are many more possibilities as to why the residents of Salem Village became hysterical. Because we have no proof that proves that one specific scenario could have been the reason, we may never know what really caused the Salem Witch Trials.

Last year, my two-year-old daughter was a duckling. Think very yellow, very puffy with orange and yellow striped tights, and stuffed webbed feet. The year before she was a monkey, absolutely adorable. I started looking online for some good ideas for costumes this year and found some absolutely hysterical ones.

Halloween, like every other holiday it seems, has become completely dominated by advertising and money. Long gone are the days of throwing a sheet over your head with two big holes in it for the eyes and dragging a pillow case up and down the street for popcorn balls made by your neighbours. The costumes have become more and more intricate with the internet offering thousands of choices. It can become very overwhelming for a parent who wants their child to be in something a little different than everyone else. It seems like there is always a thousand “Scream” masks or witches.

My daughter was a monkey for her first Halloween — standard Gap issue costume, but really really cute! Last year, she was an adorable round little duckling. This year, I just don’t know. It’s the first time she’ll really get to have a say in her costume — she’s just over 2 years old. And starting to get a little picky about what she wears. I don’t want her to be just a run of the mill princess or ballerina though. She has dress up clothes she wears around the house like that all the time. And she’ll have years to be whatever she wants for Halloween. I’m starting to lose years where I’ll have complete say over her costume. I’m thinking something funny. I went on line for some ideas and here’s some of the funniest costumes I’ve ever seen. Now I just have to decide which one…

Peeps

You know those cute little marshmallow ducks that are constantly showing up in your Easter basket.

Super cute but maybe a little too reminiscent of a duck. Plus it reminds he of how my older son always puts the peeps in the microwave with little toothpicks stuck in them to see who wins the sword battle.

Tootsie Roll

Keeping up with the candy theme going on.

This one is hysterical but much cuter without feet for little babies. Otherwise it sort of looks like a giant monster tootsie roll on legs!

Wheaties Box

Especially good this year after the Olympics!

While this one doesn’t come small enough for my daughter, it’s great! And it reminds everyone of the Olympics and all of the USA’s gold medals…patriotism and free candy all in one go.

Air Freshener

Okay, this one takes the cake and smells good too!

If she fit in this costume it would definitely be the one I picked whether she liked it or not! Check out the look on that baby’s face — definitely not that happy.

Whoopie Cushion

Here’s one I’ve never seen before!

A walking whoopie cushion! The only down side is that I know her brother would try to sit on her over and over — teenage boys are troublesome.

Pez Dispenser

Who doesn’t love Pez?

If a kid is dressed like candy do you still have to give him candy? Does this costume give candy back through the mouth??? Cute, I love it.

Chiquita Banana Girl

Okay, it’s really called the Tutti Frutti costume but my name sounds way better.

This one’s super cute and has a body suit underneath the “half shirt” to keep her warm. Definitely a contender.

Man-Eating Shark

This one is super funny while at the same time, perpetuating the myth that sharks are killers!

Maybe my two year old is a little young for this costume…I guess it could cause nightmares in the faint of heart little ones but it is really, really funny.

Elvis

Hold onto your blue suede shoes, Elvis is in the building!

I especially love the sideburns!

These 9 costumes sure aren’t your run of the mill Disney character costume (not that there’s anything wrong with that!). It just gets to be a little much when you run into ten Elmos on your street or whatever is the “hot” costume this year. Halloween doesn’t always have to be scary, especially for the younger kids. Funny totally works too!

Check out some of my other articles to see more funny Halloween costumes:
