I feel for the people affected by this. They have announced that anyone who applied for residency before 2008 will have their files returned along with there application fees. Some have waited almost 10 years. My parents too are still awaiting residency which keeps been delayed even though they applied after 2008 and have been working and living in Canada for the last three years.
