May one Labor Day is approaching.

The Labour Day or Labour Day is a holiday celebrated on May 1 of each year that will highlight the commitment of the trade union movement and the achievements in the economic and social workers. Labor Day is recognized in many countries around the world but not all.

The origin of the festival dates back to an event organized in the United States by the Knights of Labour (Knights of Labor, an association founded in 1869) in New York September 5, 1882. Two years later, in 1884, a similar event in the Knights of Labor passed a resolution so that the event had an annual basis. Other trade unions affiliated to the International workers – close to the anarchist and socialist movements – as suggested date of May 1 holiday.

But dropping the final choice on this date were the serious incidents that occurred in early May 1886 in Chicago (USA) and known as the Haymarket riot. These facts had their climax on May 4 when police fired on protesters causing numerous casualties. The then president Grover Cleveland believed that the celebration of May 1 could be an opportunity to commemorate this event. Then, fearing that the commemoration would be too much for the nascent socialism, transfer the object of the festival on the ancient organization of the Knights of work.

The date of May 1 was adopted in Canada in 1894 although the concept of Labor Day is here referred to earlier workers held rallies in Toronto and Ottawa in 1872. In Europe, the May Day holiday was made official by the delegates of the Second Socialist International meeting in Paris in 1889 and ratified in Italy two years later.

Are UFO's really true? Is the government trying to hide something? Find out.

Visitations?

How many of us would actually believe someone if he/she said, “I saw a UFO yesterday!”. Almost all of us would say the guy’s gone bonkers. But what if he had proof, how many of us would have denied then? For many years people have claimed to see lights and strange unexplained objects in the sky. Any image search of UFOs will turn up many of these images. Most of them are false alarms and some are computer-edited. Some of them may be a result air-crafts or lenticular clouds. Take a look at the picture below. It is very likely that, if untold, many of us would have mistaken it for UFO. But there are some that cannot be told about.

A Lenticular Cloud. This could have been easily mistaken for a UFO.

A typical picture of a flying saucer (or UFO)

The Roswell Incident

Indeed, as the universe is so vast the chances are that somewhere ‘out there’ there are other life forms and that we are not alone in the Universe. Any alien life that did visit the Earth would certainly be more advanced than our own. They would have to posses the technology necessary to travel vast distances to get here.

One of the most famous incidents took place at Roswell in New Mexico in 1947. On the evening of 2 July 1947, many UFO sightings were reported during thunderstorm near Roswell. Some said that an object had been struck by lightning. The next day, strange wreckage was found .

  The mysterious wreckage.

When the impact site was located, a UFO craft with mysterious carvings (like hieroglyphics) and alien bodies were allegedly found and an autopsy conducted. On 8 July 1947, the Roswell Daily Record announced the capture of a flying saucer. But if it existed no one knows what happened next, or if they do then they are not saying!

  The alien body.

Deliberate Cover Up?

The official explanation was that the ‘UFO’ was a weather balloon. Many people, including the residents of the town, thought that there was more to it than that. In the following days virtually every witness to the whole event was either quickly transferred or seemed to disappear from the face of the Earth. This led to suspicions that an extraordinary was the subject of a deliberate government cover up. Over the years, books, interviews (you can check out one here), and articles from a number of military personnel who had been involved with the incident, have added to the suspicion of a deliberate cover up. But the real question has still not been answered-are UFOs fake or real? That question cannot be answered right now. We may have proof, but the government will never let us believe in them. Maybe someday we will find out. Maybe someday there will be something spectacular that will prove that there are other life forms out there.

Life a flowing river and some one has said, if ever you want to define your future, redefine you present. It could work wonders and you would appreciate if the present is gold, you could be looking at something as bright at diamond. For glories and resounding future one anchors past every hurdle and looking forward gives ample boost to your physical strength and mental agility to excel in every field of life. But one thing, you cannot forget the past from where we take up the challenges to look beyond future!

In the real sense the past incidents and traumatic happenings can be good enlightenment and can prove to be a mirror to the life and help in living a perfect life in future. They stand testimony to what happened when you did wrongs and rights. The detailed evidences and images could come in front of you to make a reassurance for a bright future. In fact one cannot deny the youthful hi jinks, mischiefs and merrymaking which could have resulted in bad name and iconic with misdeeds of yours. Perhaps if one wants to look beyond past into the future it is good to rectify the present which is a thresh hold to a new beginning.

You're not supposed to laugh when someone slips on a banana peel or stubs their toe and falls down. But here are some exceptions; video clips of accidents, mishaps, and bloopers that somehow lighten the heart and give you a sense of elation.

Skiing to Get High

Professional snow-boarder and kite skier aside, -I bet this guy wrecked his shorts during this adventure! An unexpected updraft lifts a snowboarder many meters into the air and drops him down again, -seemingly unhurt, quite a distance away. This was dangerous folks but doggone amazing all the same!

Amazing Waterspout in the Road!

[youtube=

]

I don’t know why but this video just makes me happy and joyous. The music helps and while the motorists involved must have been terrified, watching this video from the safe and omnipotent view of the surveillance camera just makes you feel grateful that it’s not you. Watch the pedestrian on foot fleeing the impending second eruption of this watery geyser. For this person, this must have been scary-sick.

Ill-Prepared Helicopter Nearly Crash Lands

[youtube=

]

A helicopter attempts to lift off from a Greenpeace vessel off the coast of Scotland encounters difficulties and hard-lands, nearly decapitating a support-crew member. Apparently, a retention strap (visible atached to the tail section) had not been removed and the helicopter lifted prematurely and was jerked back down when the strap became taut and broke.

Window Washer Platform Disaster

A window washer platform on what appears to be Denver Place Plaza Tower is buffeted in high winds and repeatedly strikes the side of the building, knocking out windows and sending showers of broken glass and office supplies raining down upon the streets. Reminiscent of the planes that struck the World Trade Center Towers in the terrorist events of 9-11, this video is scary and almost painful to watch. Note the pedestrian briefly visible on the left side of the screen on a cellphone, presumably adding his call to the hundreds of others to reporting this event to authorities.

Denver Place Plaza is one of the newest and most energy efficient office complexes in downtown Denver, Colorado and in June of 2007 was sold to a California-based investment firm for some $200-million dollars. I have not been to Denver in maybe seven years now but know of the building and may even have taken pictures of it when we visited the nearby 16th Street Mall shopping district.

Trapped Under a Flipped Tractor Trailer, Motorist Unscratched!

A drive of a sedan is buried beneath a flipped tractor-trailer and rescuers frantically attempt to rescue any survivors. First, the attempt to lighten the load of the trailer portion and using heavy moving equipment, roll the trailer over and amazingly, the driver is still alive. Using the jaws-of-life to extricate the driver, he climbs out and is escorted to a hospital where he is found to be without any injury whatsoever!

Accidental Blooper, Auf Deutsch

In German, a news anchor apparently gets her queue wrong and speaks presumably something embarrassing. This infectious laughter of her just makes my heart glow. Give it a listen and if your German is better than mine, share with us what she is saying. We’d all like to know for sure but until then, just enjoy the giddy humor.

Best of All Program Endings : Leave Them with Humor

[youtube=

Do you remember that deranged NASA astronaut-stalker Lisa Nowak (image below) ‘love triangle’ case?

Image via Wikipedia

Back in early 2007 Ms. Nowak drove 900 miles in her car wearing a disguise to conceal her identity in what turned out to be an attempted murder of a female rival for the affections of yet another astronaut. She wore a wig and allegedly also wore an ‘adult diaper’ so as to not have to take toilet breaks during the road-trip.

A newscaster had a perfect way to end their program which briefed upon her story. A one-liner quip from the news anchor sent his fellow co-anchor into fits of laughter. Delightful!

Some info on aliens and our recent study and probing.

Here are some of the incidents that happened in past when some unidentified objects being seeing by people and the belief became strong of the existence of some other world then earth.

Siberia – (Russia) – 1969- The most powerful security service of Russia, KGB carried out a secret mission and found a UFO (Unidentified foreign object) in the dense forest and without being disclosed to the world, the whole debris of space ship was transferred to unidentified place for further research

Pennsylvania – (US) – 1965 – It was 5 p.m. and people of city saw a flash of light in the sky and as it approached near it appeared like a fire ball, which was coming toward them in high speed. Every one was frightened and soon the fire ball crashed into the jungles with a bang and then there was a huge silence all around. This incident was watched by thousands of people. Government carried out the search operation and the reply given to people was that it was a meteoroid, which falls from the sky. NASA was silent on this incident but a New York journalist filed a case against NASA and government sources after many years of this incident so as to bring out the truth to the people with fresh probe and hope all will find something new about UFO, which being not told to the people.

New Mexico – (US) – 1947 – Thousands of people saw UFO in the sky of a state of Russell in US

These are the cases when UFO or Aliens being seen by many people and there are many more other incidents to support the belief that there are other planets too which have some species living over there but so far only the Aliens have invaded our planet but now the time is for us to go and search them. Some of the Japan’s top scientists and NASA are probing them with the help of using some of the best telescopes available on the earth and they have identified a specific star (name and location not yet being disclosed) where there is a chance of possibility of life. They have already sent radio signals to them and keeping an eye on it. The star is believed to be thousands of light years away from us.

There is also one planet “Alten” being identified as possible source of Alien’s living. Japanese scientists have already sent radio signals to them and are hopeful to receive reply by 2015. There is also some sign of life being found on Mercury and Moon and the images being sent by various satellites to support this belief but not so far surety given by NASA.

Surely there is some other world too on this universe, where there is a existence of life and now it’s Our time to go to them rather then they invading or approaching us.
