I decided since these writings were just sitting in my Writing Folder they may be useful to someone on Triond.

Here is a link to the beginning of the Challenge

My Corset of Love Challenge One

Welcome to the other side of relationships. I call this the supreme angle of detecting love, lovers and all that great stuff our souls desire.

Challenge #4 was cruel. Living life is not living by what we don’t want, but rather living by what we do want.

Your next challenge is a good one. What do you want? This can be a hard question to answer. I am aware we live in a society where the balance is far from balanced. There are a lot of people who know what they want in relationship but have an idea that this is owed to them by all. Here is a truth -No one else is looking for the love of your life except the love of your life. Never believe someone knows better then you who want to be in a relationship. Separate yourself from the pack and search within you for your own answer. Trust me the perfect match for you ALSO WANTS what you want. You owe no one anything except your honesty.

For Challenge # 5 I ask you to pick one person you know and tell them One quality you want in a partner. (Please…not what you don’t want.) I fully understand that telling another person what you want may feel intimidating. But it’s worth it. Please post below a little detail of your experience once you have completed this challenge. I would love to hear about it!

Individuals shape the course of developments in American society through different approaches.

Cultivating individuality is a process that calls for perseverance and commonsense. Individuality does not exist in a vacuum but has to be tempered. In American society it is usually impacted by social responsibility, laws, and spirituality in a democracy.

Why is it essential to cultivate individuality?

The cultivation of individuality is important because it allows a person to make his own decisions independently. Normally, an individual takes all the facts at his disposal into consideration before deciding on a course of action. Undoubtedly, there will be some areas about which he is not knowledgeable. In such circumstances, it is expected that he would turn to opinion leaders that he trusts on whom he will base his decision.

Let us say for instance, that Albert Smith is intrigued by the show Army Wives and he has no idea concerning the protocol in the military and wants some questions answered about soldiers being wounded in action, it would be a good idea for him to seek out an appropriate military personnel for an explanation.

Why is social responsibility necessary?

It is all well and good to be an individualist, but it has to be tempered by social responsibility. Commonsense will dictate. Will a person shout fire in a crowded theater when there is no fire? Pandemonium will break out, probably causing the lives of hundreds.

It is essential that in an election a person should be informed about the candidate that he is going to support. He has to weed the chafe from the wheat as he reads and listens to sources for such guidance. As far as the print media is concerned, his best bet is the elite press, like the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and Time Magazine. On the broadcasting side, he can turn to ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, and Google for questions he is unsure about.

What is the role of laws?

Every society has a legal framework under which it operates. They consist of those provisions that citizens have to function under and seek redress if their rights are violated. Laws therefore play into individuality and social responsibility. They define a person’s limits. Some individuals have seen it fit to push these limits with civil disobedience when, in their view, they were faced with no other options but to bring their demands to the public attention in this way.

What part does spirituality play?

In American democracy there is supposed to be a separation of church and state enshrined in its constitution. Often, the lines are blurred. A person’s spirituality though, is and will always be, an influence on his actions in society. It will determine to what extent he pushes an issue. How he approaches “hot button” topics like abortion, gay rights, stem

cell research, and immigration reform.

- – -

A democracy is dynamic. It is always changing. Leaders come and go, but some policies endure. Behind these changes are the roles of individuals.

Component of ones personality with his/her unique traits and the unique value system is called "individuality" of the person.

I have discussed with you what makes each of us a peculiar person, and proved that each of us has a unique set of circumstances and these make us what each of us is – different from all others. In another article, genetics behind individuality. I discussed that each of us carries genes from all his/her ancestors and some of these get active deciding on the individual characteristics of the person. Thus, every one is different from others from birth point of view as well as from growing point of view.

In general, we all are human beings, some of us have common faith and beliefs, some are equally educated, some of us are in the same profession, some of us live in the same locality, some of us go for morning walk together, some of us form a close-friendly circle for liking each other, and so on … Thus, apart from our differences, we have many many common traits and attributes.

Image via Wikipedia

Thus, every individual shares a lot with many others living far and wide apart, yet is unique in some other traits. These traits which are different from all others are unique to that person, making him/her an individual. Due to this uniqueness, the person keeps his/her unique value system and sticks to that. And component of his/her personality with these unique traits and the unique value system is called ‘individuality’ of the person.

In-spite of each one of us being a social animal, we all love our respective individualities and like to preserve these. What a wonderful splitting of personalities – on one side, we boast of having common interests, goals and aspirations, on the other, we stick to our respective individualities. The commonality provides us social status, while the individuality provides each of us an identity. For the sake of this identity, we preserve and respect our respective individualities.

Each of us inherits genes and hence the characteristics from all his/her ancestors, it depends on the circumstances and efforts of the person which gene will get active in him/her defining his/her characteristics.

We have investigated and discussed what makes each of us a unique individual. The basic cause was found to be different and unique combination of circumstances. As part of this unique combination of circumstances and also part of our individual constitutions are genes deciding our individual characteristics. Genes mean those elements in the body which we inherit from our parents and other ancestors. Through these, we inherit characteristics of our parents and other ancestors. With this fact in mind, let us see how and from where we inherit these genes and hence the characteristics.

Image via Wikipedia

Each person transfers genes of his/her ancestors to his/her off-springs. All our ancestors had different genes and traits of their own as inherited from their ancestors. Thus, an infant has in his/her body all the genes of all his/her ancestors. But not all of these genes remain active to define characteristics of the person made out of the infant in later days. or in other words, most of these genes remain dormant in the body, except those which find congenial circumstances for them to become active and define characteristics of the person. For example, a person trained as a wrestler will have active genes of one of his/her ancestors who was good at wrestling. Similarly, a person remaining in touch with philosophers would have activated genes received from an ancestor interested in philosophy.

This also means that a person can activate any sort of genes present in his/her body by making efforts in a field of his/her interest, provided any of his/her ancestors had the desired characteristics. Thus, in a single lifetime, a person can be rich in different characteristics of his/her ancestors through making efforts in the desired fields

.

Individuality is key value to each of us and we get it through our unique group of circumstances. It is the cause of our victories and defeats in life.

We all belong to a large group of humans, then to our own subgroups based on history, geography, culture, education, profession, hobbies, tastes, ….. yet we all are peculiar and different from each other at the roots of us. This makes each of us an individual, a social unit.

We love cohesion, we feel safe in company, we feel loved in family, we long for getting someone for filling our individual voids, yet we remain peculiarly different from each other. What is that factor which isolates us from the whole, which provides us a unique identity, which makes us aware of individuality? Let us ponder over.

We take birth from different parents, at different locations, at different times, at different temperatures, … We grow in different environments, in different economic conditions, under different types of cares, ….. We get educated differently, in different institutions, in different curriculum, for different purpose, … We follow a different lifestyle, a different profession, a different routine, …. Yes, we are different from each other for these differences of ours – we call circumstances. Our individual circumstances make us different from each other, as unique individuals with unique physiology, with unique psychology, with unique habits, with unique beliefs, with unique temperaments, … Yes, each of us is unique, made by our unique combination of circumstances. Yet we are part of the whole, sharing different things with different groups of people.

This peculiarity, this individuality is our greatest asset providing each of us a distinct identity., for which we can be proud of. This uniqueness works for our victories and defeats in endeavors of life. When we try to fight with some one going to his/her field out of our uniqueness, we get defeated. Conversely, when we fight within periphery of our unique attributes, we are victorious.

How do we find oursleves? How do we find our purpose and passion in life? Well, this isn't easy but we all can find our way in life. But this takes help from our parents, friends and others.

From the moment we are born our parents have a vision whether direct or indirect about how they want our life to unfold. They feel as if it is there job to provide not only food, shelter and a stable home but a path that we can follow to success. In theory this sounds great, but in actuality our parents or guardians are only raising us based on what they feel is right or wrong. Our goals, dreams, accomplishments, etc. become theirs and they live through us. This can lead to resentment, rebellious behavior and a lost identity.

In order for anyone of us to be individualistic and find our own true purpose and passion in life we have to be free to make decisions on our own. This includes being able to make mistakes and learn from them without feeling like a failure. Parents and guardians may regard this as bad rearing but sometimes in order to mature in life you have to learn how to fail so that you can learn how to rise up and succeed. Of course, we want to make judgments that are proper and consistent but we know that doesn’t always happen. Everyone path is different but we have to be free to experience a wide range of situations that life will throw at us. This way we will know how to handle ourselves next time and very little will surprise us. When you protect someone so much you could end up doing more harm than good.

If we want to find ourselves so to speak then we should try to experience different cultures, lifestyles and beliefs. A one tract mind can be a one way ticket to stagnation and ignorance. Many of us don’t realize who we are until we get out into the world and see things we never seen or heard before. We then begin to open up and find out that this world has so many beautiful things to offer. We usually call these phases or experimentation. So many of us think and speak like we do because we haven’t been exposed to different environments, art and language. The more open we are to exploring the world and the people in it the more comfortable we will be in our own skin.

We know that our parents and guardians have good intentions when it comes to our well-being. But their responsibility is to guide and not direct. This is why when we reach a certain age, typically teenage years, we rebel and cause problems because we feel as if we have no say in our own lives. Individuals have to take control of their own lives as early as possible. This gives everyone the best chance to understand what it is we want to become, what we want to believe and how we want to go about living the rest of our lives.

In a world populated by trends, there are those who work too hard to develop the respect of their peers. Instead, they often end up in a deficit.

Punk cred, scene cred, and most recently, indie cred. The weaker-willed of the fashion-influenced demographics strive mightily to gain the invisible currency that is peer-support. However, those that operate the higher echelons of their trend refuse to give up even a shred of their respect to the plaebians that attempt to make people like them.

The problem is this:
Scenesters can smell desperation.

It’s almost as if it’s an experience honed ability, similar to one achieved after ‘levelling up’ in an RPG video game. When one has truly grasped the teachings of their ’scene’, they are aware of those that truly have no idea what they’re actually doing: the indie-kid who believes that “you only ever find the best items in op-shops” is totally rejected by the worn hipster who’s long since acknowledged that the quality of what you wear is irrelevant, it’s the combination of items. The ‘emo’ who still maintains their Myspace in 2011, replete with All Time Low and Mayday Parade lyrics, gives an eyeliner-stained glare to the thirteen-year-old who considers herself a ’scene-queen’ after attaching some coon-tail dyed hair extensions.

As sappy as it may be, the numerous trends apparent in modern society and those that are absolutely miserable at filling them make it all the more obvious that people need to find a niche that they fill instinctively; a place that means they don’t need to seek the appreciation of others and are comfortable without needless, and often ugly, desperation.

We all have dreamz that are unique to us, and this makes us all leaders.

“I is for individuality and Good spirit,” says my oldest son Michael.

We all have dreamz that are unique to us, and this makes us all leaders.

As we mentioned earlier we all have dreamz and we have been forced to shelf them because of our current station in life. The first step is to remember your dreamz. This might be difficult because we have all been clouded in some way. We might have to go through a cleansing process to recall what we really enjoy doing in life. “I Love U Be Good” says my oldest son.

If you ask the average person off the street what their dreamz are they will stop for a moment and try to remember. Our dreamz were more visible to us when we were youngsters or children playing joyfully in the grassy fields. As we get older we choose a profession that we believe is Good based on the amount of money it pays, but in actuality we might not be doing what we enjoy.

My oldest son’s dream as a kid was to be Rocky, and I think that’s not that easy. “It’s Easy Be Good,” says my oldest son. At one point in time my oldest son saw Marco Antonio Barrera “The Baby Faced Assassin” and “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather as being Good Apollos and saw himself as being an unknown that could be given a shot at the title (just like Rocky).

Now days he believes in creating a Utopia and does not see the need to compete. According to my oldest son he has hung up his boxing gloves and has retired from the sport of boxing. His boxing name is “Be Good.” My oldest son never fought professionally, only recreationally. He received a black belt in Tae Kwon Do when he was only thirteen years old. He then quit immediately because he did not enjoy fighting. He still has a Good foundation for boxing if ever there is a need to go out there and box.

We actually believe boxing is really dancing in disguise like the Waltz, for example. Lucifer has purposely clouded this sport so that we bloody each other up.

My oldest son runs five miles everyday just to get some light running in there. He has broken Floyd Mayweather’s consistent runs record and no one even knows who he is.

When he was younger my oldest son saw his peer get his eye closed out by Marco Antonio Barrera “The Baby Faced Assassin.” My oldest son thought of setting up a boxing exhibition match between himself and Barrera to avenge this loss, but now my oldest son is completely against violence and retaliation. He would like to act as a positive role model to our youth.

He thought about using boxing as an instrument. Similarly to how Wars are staged we could stage a boxing exhibition match between two fighters and campaign across the country for “No Fighting.” We could have the younger crowd those under the age of eighteen vote for “No Fighting.” Valuable lessons could be gathered along the way. If people vote for “No Fighting” we know in our hearts and minds that we have won. Otherwise there would be a fight and I guarantee you valuable lessons would still be learned. Tears would be shed and we would all feel stupid at the end and wonder why we fought in the first place.

When he was younger my oldest son also dreamed of becoming president of the United States of America. In a Utopia we as angelz would share roles and responsibilities. It is possible that we could all be president.

As he grew older my oldest son Michael chose the profession of a software engineer. He was a Computer Science major at the University of California, Irvine and then became a research assistant in the Medical Informatics Department at Stanford University. He left Stanford to pursue acting (another dream of his), but never made it because he did not have the right connections.

At one point Sidney Sheinberg visited our home when my son was just a little boy, only nine years old. Michael tried to reach out to Jonathan Sheinberg (Sidney’s son) at one point, but never heard back from him. They passed on Michael and went with a girl instead. This could have very well been Natalie Portman or Scarlett Johansson. My oldest son Michael will see himself as being a software engineer for the rest of his life even if he chooses a different profession. He will always enjoy writing code.

My oldest son is said to be precocious.

What are your dreamz everybody? Try to remember them and pull them off the shelf.

We Love U Be Good
