The movies are all about journey and imagination. It's particularly deep romantic classics like Casablanca that resemble a bit of gold in a treasure chest.

The movies are all about journey and imagination. It’s particularly deep romantic classics like Casablanca that resemble a bit of gold in a treasure chest. The thoughts conjures up pictures of an exotic, mystical place like Casablanca – the perfect place for a romantic interlude. It is a place with loads of historical past, intrigue and wonder. One minute you can be on the beach sipping a delightful mint tea and the next minute be procuring in the exotic, yet dangerous bazaars crowded with vibrant spices, drinks, sweets, condiments and trend accessories. Indulge on Turkish delight or enjoy the stroll by means of the fruit and vegetable markets.

What a spectacular journey by means of a timeless and tradition wealthy city.

The classical romance of Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart is unforgettable for these of all ages, cultures or religions. It’s a romance set in a historic place wealthy in beauty and aura. Morocco is a country surrounded by colourful mosques and temples – the perfect symbols of religion and culture. It has also been described as one of the fashion spots of Africa with the fascinating mix of cultures forming unique designs and artwork.

As you enter Morocco, let the journey begin. Journey via the crowded streets to watch the snake vendors, the acrobats and performers. Stroll through the malls full of people busy looking for a basic restaurant.. Sit down at a restaurant to look at the Stomach Dancers perform their best dances and appeal to crowds of clientelle.

It is crammed with thriller and intrigue.

The story of a good-looking, clever man like Humphrey Bogart meeting a younger woman like Ingrid Bergman in an exotic and exciting place like Casablanca seems so adventurous. It looks as if the right time and place for a love story.

As it’s set in World Warfare II, it’s the story of 1 man torn between love and virtue. It might be an virtually inconceivable option to make: choose between the love of his life or proceed the combat with the Nazis. It’s certainly a film that is something out of the ordinary. Also, it has achieved worldwide acclaim and unbelievable success as a outcome of location, actors and story. It was widespread in the earlier centuries and continues to be fashionable proper now.

With a spectacular forged and unique location, it is hardly shocking that this is one in every of Hollywood’s best performances and considered one of its most well-known motion pictures of all time that has additionally stood the check of time.

A lot of famous movie lines have gotten garbled as time has gone by. Do you remember some of the most famous?

Bogart, Cagney, Sherlock Holmes and George Washington: Just some of the famous people who didn’t say what you think they said

Humphrey Bogart – the name suggests an image of a smoky bar filled with characters of all types. A man tickles the piano keys and an agitated Bogart demands, “Play it again, Sam.” But wait, stop the music – did you know that Bogart never uttered those words in the movie?

Just like many popular sayings uttered by movie stars and other notables – from James Cagney to Neil Armstrong – the words we think they said are different from what they actually said.

BOGART AND CASABLANCA

Take Bogart’s memorable performance in 1943’s Casablanca. While most people will swear he said, “play it again, Sam,” and the phrase has been used countless times since, in fact it is Ingrid Bergman who says to pianist Dooley Wilson “play it, Sam. Play ‘As Time Goes By.’”

JAMES CAGNEY

And what about James Cagney’s oft repeated line, “you dirty rat” allegedly used in one of his gangster movies? According to Cagney he never said that line in any of his movies

SPORTS SAYINGS

Sports are full of misquotes or quotes that have morphed over time. Leo Durocher, famed manger in the 1940s and 50s, is often reported to have coined the term, “nice guys finish last.” But, that isn’t what he said. His actual 1948 comment about the New York Giants was “Take a look at them. All nice guys. They’ll finish last. Nice guys. Finish Last.” Time tends to shorten things and that’s what happened with Durocher’s comment.

W.C. FIELDS

The great comedian W.C. Fields is the victim of a quote that is attributed to him – “anybody who hates children and dogs can’t be all bad” – that is not only wrong but also wasn’t said by Fields. Humorist Leo Rosten used a similar phrase (“anybody who hates dogs and babies can’t be all bad”) to introduce Fields at an event.

WILL ROGERS

Another famous humorist, Will Rogers, is well remembered for saying “I never met a man I didn’t like.” Except that’s not what he said. He actually said “I joked about every prominent man in my lifetime, but I never met one I didn’t like.”

GEORGE WASHINGTON

Even the father of our country, George Washington, gets caught up in the “he didn’t say it” phenomenon. His famous “I cannot tell a lie” comment when his father supposedly confronted him for cutting down a cherry tree, is actually something a Washington biographer, Mason Locke, put together when he wrote of Washington in 1799.

ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR HOLMES

Even Sir Arthur Conan Doyles’ great fictional detective Sherlock Holmes’ everlasting line “elementary, my dear Watson” won’t be found in any of Doyles’ stories. The line was actually coined by actor Basil Rathbone, who played the sleuth on screen.

History is full of quotes and comments of famous people, who, it turns out, didn’t utter them or said something quite different. But, as one actor said in the 1962 film “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance,” with John Wayne and James Stewart, “when the legend becomes fact, print the legend.”

"A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous." - Ingrid Bergman.

One of the highest pleasures in life known to mankind is kissing, yes, kissing erotically. Now aside from having our desire for the opposite sex satisfied, one can kiss even more longer for the recent medical research have shown that erotic kissing brings amazing health benefits to both sexes. Listed below are the results of the current medical research as to what an amorous kissing can do positively to our health.

Kissing is more effective than meditation when it comes to easing stress and tensions.

Kissing releases a hormone called oxytocin which is known to have a very calming effect on the body; it’s kind of similar to having an actual massage.

It also provides good exercise for the facial muscle which may in turn prevent the likelihood of looking aged, though one is pretty young.

Kissing cleans up the teeth from bacteria which may prove harmful to dental health.

Kissing is also believed to be capable of removing body calories.

If this is really the case, and you don’t have anyone to kiss, better look for one now. And for those who are tied by the social contract, kiss more, kiss longer, and kiss everyday. Kissing is good for our health, aside from being the medium of conversation of the two souls who are in loved. “What of soul was left, I wonder, when kissing had to stop?” The romantic poet Robert Browning once said of kissing.

How happiness is and was thought to be reached.

There isn’t a formula for happiness, just try to do things which will make you happy without actually wanting to have the end result. This is what I understood after reading several quotes on the subject including a quote from Bertrand Russell. The voyage is better than the goal, I understood. It sounds like one will always be disappointed if he found that there was nothing after happiness.

People can make or break the chain of reactions that bring them euphoria or elation. It is kind of like saying to a smoker that he will be happier if he stops the habit and they often are. The trick is to be able to give it up with the goal of being happier. Often enough the habit is stronger than the urge to be problem free.If a person decides to frequent a gang whose promise for success is stepped in wrong doings, it is up to him to decide what will make him happier. Naturally this does not mean that society around him will be satisfied or happier with his decision but that is his choice and he will pay the price for being subversive.

Happiness is also a question of living healthily and with a minimum amount of worry. To be more blunt happiness is question of forgetting what ails you or ignoring problems that will bring you down. This is what I got from Ingrid Bergman who must have had some unmemorable moments she wanted to forget.

Camus wrote something to the effect of not being too concerned with other people on your way to happiness and I can see where he was coming from when I have met people which have offered me little companionship and more worry or angst because of their instability or aberrant behavior.

If such people approach me these days, I am less likely to worry about them or want to get involved and this keeps me clear of any problems that may arise such as being asked for money and other favors when I need to help myself and concentrate on my own goals.

Helen Keller made a reference about keeping her gaze towards the sun to avoid seeing any shadows. Metaphorically this can be taken as to keep your mind full of optimism and give little heed to the negative input around you. There will always be plenty of that as “misery does enjoy company.”

Bertold Brecht made a reference to of enjoy life to fullest because it is brief and this is where I would like to conclude my review on happiness quotes. Indeed, as I reflect on how many years I have spent concerning myself with issues that seem so trivial, today I know know that I will spend less mental time on the absurd.
