I suppose I could bore you with all the facts and statistics but I won’t. We all know that abortion claims the lives of thousands of children everyday but what we don’t always know is what I like to call "The Human Effect".

Before the legalization of abortion in 1973 (with Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court), each year thousands of women were seriously injured or died from unsafe, illegal abortions. Hundreds of thousands more had to give birth to children who did not want. The legalization of abortion meant that for the first time, women could decide whether or not to have children and when. It was and is central to the emancipation of women.
