The question which always haunt an intelligent student with bad luck.

Whenever a student tops in class various adjectives are added his/her name. They are scholar; intelligent; brainy; brilliant; outstanding; etc. the list is just endless. In my class word “scholar” is quite popular. But many times, I feel this word is not suitable for a topper.

I feel that the education system of India is not perfect. This is due to the fact that in many instances a topper gets choked, whenever he/she comes across questions which are based on logic. This is seen more commonly among science students. The students just mug up few notes for exams and get very good marks but later fail to pass any good entrance exam like Indian Institute of Technology- Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE), etc.

Moreover most teachers, schools and coaching classes are just doing spoon feeding to their students either by giving ready made notes, setting papers which just test their mug up power or both. They totally ignore the logical development of student. Even students want to have an easy life, so even they don’t protest. Instead, they will protest if a teacher tries to test their logic. So, the net outcome is that the students who tops are not able to perform at topmost level.
