Even before I begin introducing a scenario on why individuals eat non organic, “Mitchami Dukkadam”.
If there has been a day or interval in our day-to-day life when I’ve done anything incorrect, or have damage you or your whizzes deliberately or certainly, I ask for your forgiveness (Mitchami Dukkadam)

The Jain team just completed a 8 day substantial Paryushan Parv(festival) which is focused at dropping and versatile everything bad that has took place to us in the last interval. The 9th day a.k.a “Samvatsari” is the day we all ask for forgiveness from everybody, because according to Jainism, you get peacefulness only by versatile and dropping everything incorrect that you may have done or knowledgeable in the past!

This publish is to view the aspects why People slaughter the creatures for foods. Being a Jain, I have been following a organic eating strategy, and have been trying to effect individuals become organic themselves. Have not been able to convert one ?

It’s complicated how individuals can eat something by getting the day-to-day life-time of another present pet. I wonder if every non organic would eat pet pet meat if they had to slaughter, and epidermis the pet on their own. It’s because it’s murdered, cut, prepared and offered in a amazing eatable way is why you eat non organic..? No.

Why do individuals eat non-vegetarian anyway?

Taste? If that is the scenario, can they eat the pet pet meat raw? No. The ingestion region does not allow the pet pet meat to be absorbed if it’s raw. Try that for Work schedule Calendar month and you will begin sensation it’s outcomes. What creates the personal preference is the masala’s (the additional components that you add to the recipe). Every personal one of them or mostly everything is from something vegetarian!

So what really creates the personal preference is the organic components than the pet pet meat. “Try it and you are going to know for yourself”, Thank you! I know a thousand or probably a few 100 thousand formulas that will personal preference a lot better that are non-meat people. When given so many choices why should I eliminate something to eat?

So it’s definitely not the personal preference. What someone recommended when I expected the same dilemma was: “Some places in The far eastern do not have place that can create food”.

Let’s think again… Is that the reason? Who are that they eating? Carnivores or Herbivores? Herbivores obviously, because they are simple to create, attain and eliminate. Again, people ingestion region does not allow ingestion of carnivores’ pet pet meat on a frequent interval. My dilemma is, where do the creatures get their foods from if you cannot create food?

So it’s not the non-availability of foods either. One comes to the cost then… Obviously it’s not that. You get fruit and generate more cost-effective than the pet pet meat.

No the cost, is it what they are continually knowledgeable to? From whatever I’ve comprehended from contacts of different thinking, no thinking requirements you to cause irritation to another present being for foods. Every thinking there is preaches peacefulness by excellent network with all present, which of course should involve the creatures. Islamic appreciate a day known as Bakrid when a Goat must be murdered, not sure why, but I understand that is for a objective definitely not foods. Sincere appreciate Easters day examining a boiled egg with a aspect, why egg? Again, I’ll only have to be able to go with with a dad to understand that.

But all being said, none of the created use of preach “Kill an pet for food”.

Now do not tell me that if you do not eat hen, the hen inhabitants will create and the whole foods routine will be inspired, because if you look at it, it is us who are imitation them uncommonly, looking after them until they are definitely fit to be murdered.

Now image this, when you want that meaty cheese pizza or a hen 65 comforting on your selection, you have to actually create a hen, food it and one fantastic day cut his go off with the same palms you fed it with, and delay until it dies definitely (yes run take about 2 mins to die after the go is cut off), and epidermis it, would you do that?

So it’s definitely got to do with the psychological create up of a individuals. We are just doing it because they do not combat. It’s that simple.

Sad truth of the issue of the concern is, I had gaps in my experience when I was in look for of this film. Wild animals are kept in the most serious of the circumstances and are then murdered ? How can man be so cruel?

Real Story: I was on this experience in Bihar when I saw a car finish of beef being taken for slaughtering, they hardly had any location to swap, yet the man necessary two more creatures in the car. The younger ones were shouting, while the beef all had gaps in their experience. How can we be so cruel?!

Thankfully there are some Jain firms, some of which I’m element off, who are using sources accumulated from their contacts to run something known as the “Panjrapol” a location for all the creatures retrieved from Slaughtering (by purchase of huge sum of cash to owners)

Did you know that all run household pets were electrocuted to dying because the specialists can’t appropriate take fantastic them? Panjrapol is a location where these household pets are taken, taken appropriate excellent as not be able to generate kids again, and then taken appropriate care off like animals?! It’s fantastic that there are that they who are doing fantastic products, but it does not end unless we all stop it!

No concern what you do or what you say, if you are in that destination getting a non organic foods, or comforting in the advantage of the house taking that non organic foods, you are in a oblique way accountable for the day-to-day life-time of that pet. It’s like a rivalry, when you personal preference it, you wantWhy Do People eat non vegetarian?

Even before I begin introducing a situation on why individuals eat non organic, “Mitchami Dukkadam”.

While most of the deities have peaceful face filled with love and compassion, some of the Gods and Goddesses are shown with terrifying face and with lots of weapons in their hands to instill fear in people, so much that after a visit to the temple, the children would not sleep well due to fright. But why are they depicted so? Here are a few possible reasons.

Illiteracy Needs Fear:

In the past, there are more illiterate people than the studied ones and therefore it would have been tough to intellectually persuade them towards following the rituals. Even today, the highly civilized and educated people claim to be God-fearing rather than being the God-loving or God-friendly kinds. With Yama, the God of death (Hinduism), Lord Shiva, the God of destruction (Hinduism), Narasimha or Parasurama, who are the forms of Lord Vishnu (Hinduism), the Goddess Kali (Hinduism) Mara (Buddhism), etc are shown to be ferocious and frightening

Fear Frightens The Bad:

People commit mistakes when there is no fear of punishment and therefore the children were brought up telling them stories that if they lie or do bad things, the Supreme Beings will punish them. This is proven further by the representation of Gods and Goddesses with divine faces in some temples and their warrior and killing form in others. It is also said that Lord Shiva has a vertical third eye in the spot above the middle of his two eyebrows that would open when he is angry about the wrongdoers and when open, it would burn everything that is there before it, especially the evil.

Fear Helps to Focus:

Happiness is a superficial and light feeling and one would not be able to focus when they are happy. This is why people are refrained from promising when they are in joyous moods. Fear on the other hand is a deep emotion that would trigger the true nature of the subconscious mind thereby ensuring that the person would focus as focusing is one of the best qualities of adrenaline generation. Fear of God would put the person in the righteous path if they are laypersons and Love of God would give them confidence in living a peaceful life. The frightening deities deliver a combination of these emotions. With something already present to fear, one would not have enough bandwidth to fear for other trivial things in life.

Warding Off Evil:

If one tends to visit to many of the villages in South India, the boundaries will have an Ayyanar temple is erected where he is seen with huge weapons with extended tongue on huge horses few scores of feet tall that would easily put a smiling child to tears due to fear, which is considered to be the guardian of the village safeguarding the residents from outsiders and evil forces such as ghosts or demons. By flipping through the annals of history of these villages, one can easily find the headman of the village or a clan who would have been courageously defending the interests of their people and later became the inspiration for the Ayyanar Gods for the future generations.

Restoring Confidence:

The Gods and Goddesses are shown to fight negative attitude, loser mentality, fear, wrath, envy, pride, prejudice, disillusion and various other things that would hinder the person’s progress. Therefore, when something bad happens to the person, the role models of Deities fighting off the evil forces can be taken into the mind and one can ward off their adversaries easily.

Every concept of the religious belief have been created for a reason, but due to the loss in translation across various generations, the real moral is fading away leaving people with the superstitions alone.

The conclusions of an atheist about the nature of death.

I was raised a Christian since birth. As a Christian I accepted death. I was sure that once I died I would go to Heaven and spend the rest of eternity in paradise. Death was not something to fear, it was sort of akin to changing your clothes. Once my earthly “clothes” were worn out, I would go to Heaven, where I could enjoy my heavenly “clothes”. Being a human being on earth was akin to having shorts and a t-shirt on, whereas being in heaven was akin to having an extremely nice tux on. I was living with total security pertaining to the world beyond this one. Then I became an atheist.

During the time that I transitioned from Christianity to atheism I wrestled with many questions. Christianity told me that there is a God watching over us and that there will be a Heaven after we die and many other nice things. When looking at atheism in comparison the belief system was more like there is no God so you are on your own in this world in that sense and when we die we are buried in the ground where we rot and our bodies are eaten by worms and shit out as little specs of dust. The Christian views are much more optimistic, but I chose to go with the atheist views largely for one main reason: they are true. I could believe that there was a God and that we went somewhere when we died, but then I would just be lying to myself to feel better. Instead I chose to accept the world as it was, with its harshness and everything.

As an atheist I had to find new answers to questions such as “why are we here?” and “what happens when we die?”, among others. The latter question I struggled with up until earlier this week. My reasoning told me that the most likely thing that happens when we die is that we simply cease to exist. Thats it, game over. I didn’t like that, but it was the truth and there was no use hiding from it. My beliefs about life after death have not changed. When we die, thats it, its game over, there is no after life, there is no reincarnation, there is nothing after we die. We simply cease to exist. However the other day I had an epiphany that made this truth acceptable.

Recently I have been studying more extensively eastern religions such as Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. I’ve been amazed at how different the philosophy of these religions are from the western religions that I was raised around. Many of these religions have no god and/or do not have any eternal life, making them somewhat more atheistic. All of the eastern religions I mentioned believe in reincarnation. Once you die you are reborn. What you are reborn as depends on the level of karma (the difference of your good and bad deeds) you have. However the cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth (known as samsara in Hinduism and Buddhism), is not forever. Another major concept in all of these religions, especially Buddhism, is that as long as one is alive, one will suffer. One wont be suffering 24/7, but with life suffering will inevitably come. Many eastern religions maintain that the suffering we endure in life is due to our attachment to the material world. When our dog dies, we are saddened because we were attached to the dog. If we become homeless we suffer because we were attached to having a home. If we abandon attachment then we circumvent suffering. Instead of suffering when our dog dies, we say “that dog was a good dog and I had many good times with him, but he is gone now and I cannot change that so I must accept it”. With that mindset our suffering is minimized.

When we can be unattached to this world we are considered to be enlightened by eastern philosophy. Once we are enlightened the cycle of samsara ends and we are liberated from it. From the perspective of western religions, this is when you would think that one goes to Heaven, but it is not so. At that point your life truly ends. You simply cease to exist. That is exactly what my view of death is without any reincarnation. I learned this and my first reaction was “why would I want to achieve enlightenment then?”. At first glance, by achieving enlightenment you would just commit ultimate suicide. However I then thought back to the idea of suffering being inherent in life and realized that final death is a liberation from the suffering brought on by life. Now this is all fine and dandy, except for the fact that you also can no longer experience the joys brought on by life. I am a man who lives in extremes. I do not do things conservatively, I allow myself to feel the greatest joys I can in life and at the same time allow myself to feel the greatest pains. Dying to avoid suffering is not a good reason to die in my book, because I can handle true suffering if it means I can experience true joy.

I continued to read about Hinduism and Buddhism when I stumbled upon a lesser known religion called Jainism. Jains do not believe in any god, but they do have the same ideas of karma and reincarnation as Hinduism and Buddhism. Jains seek to detach themselves from the material world, the same as Hindus and Buddhists. In my reading about Jainism, however, I discovered a startling difference between Jains and other religions. Jains commit suicide. That being said, not all Jains commit suicide, in fact the hugely vast majority do not. Suicide is considered to be something one that is enlightened can choose to do when they are totally unattached to this world, have no regrets, and have amassed all of the good karma they could possibly need. At this point there is no more that they must do in life and can die without any attachment to this world, continuing their life is just more opportunity to feel suffering. They then cease eating. They live for about a month meditating and only drinking until they die. The giving up of eating shows that they are so unattached to this world that they can choose to give up food. They die on their own terms at the time they desire without any regrets or attachment to this world.

Before I read about this I had never heard of a glorious death. However, in my mind, this classifies as a glorious death. After I read about this Jainist suicide, I realized how good it sounds. You get to die on your own terms, when you are ready. By the time you die you have no more attachment to this world and can leave without regret. You escape the bondage of life forever. I noticed how one of my main fears about death was not the idea of ceasing to exist, but instead leaving things undone or not being ready to go. I also noticed that in life I have felt held down by simply being a living, breathing being. This feeling is hard, if not impossible, to describe, but it is somewhat like you are noticing your limitations as a human being and how vast they are. The only escape from these limitations and human suffering is death. With this logic, death is the most liberating experience you can have, when you are ready for it. The bondage of being a living being no longer applies to you and the suffering that you experience as a human being can no longer happen. As for the joy that you would miss out on, that pertains to how dying on your own terms applied to me. If you die on your own terms you can have already experienced all of the joys that you want and need to experience until you are satisfied that you have experienced the joys of this world in their full spectrum and splendor. I have come to conclude that dying is completely superior to any kind of eternal life or immortality. After all, if you have eternal life, you have that eternal suffering and bondage, whether you go to a Heaven or a Hell.

Jainism, Buddhism, and Hinduism's appeals in Ancient India.

Jainism, Buddhism, and Hinduism all emerged in India in this period. How did each one appeal to people? Did each one appeal to different groups of people? Why? How did their popularity develop through this period?

Many religions were starting in Eurasia during the ancient times. Many religions were emerging in India. Jainism, Buddhism, and Hinduism all emerged in India during this time. Each one appealed to many people. Each also appealed to different groups of people.

Jainism is one of the world’s oldest religions whose roots go back to times before recorded history. Those who follow Jainism are known as Ajaina or the followers of Jinas, from whom the teachings of this religion have been derived. Jainism’s teachers of old whose wisdom and spiritual evolution are most revered are known as tirthankaras. Jain religion is unique in that, during its existence of over 5,000 years, it has never agreed on the concept of nonviolence.

It upholds nonviolence as the supreme religion and has insisted upon its observance in thought, word, and deed at the individual as well as social levels. Both in its philosophical essence as well as in its rituals, Jain religion invokes an intense and constant awareness of communication and understanding of not only all living beings but indeed all that exists.

The appeal is ahimsa, or reverence for life, the principle of nonviolence and no injury toward all living things. This principle has led to a belief in the equality of all souls and to the freedom to associate with anyone. Because of ahimsa, the social distinctions prevalent in the Hindu caste system never became firmly established in Jainism. Many people who wanted to leave the strict caste system of Hinduism followed this religion.

Buddhism is based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama. Siddhartha was a prince born around 563 BC in India. He realized at the age of twenty-nine how empty his life had been and how much suffering there is in the world. Therefore giving up everything he owned, he started on his journey for the end of suffering. Meditating under the Bo tree one day, he reached the state of enlightenment. Finally reaching what he had been searching for all his life, he set out to teach and preach to others of what he had achieved.

His body of disciples is called the Sangha. Individual males of the Sangha, monks, are marked by their shaved heads and orange robes. There is also and order for the nuns of Buddhism. Buddhism, instead of being a problem to society, actually is very beneficial to it. Those who practice Buddhism do not think in violent terms. Buddhism helps to clear the mind and help people become more open minded. Buddhists cause no political problems. They accept other religions and are accepted by others. Many Hindus who wanted to leave the caste system became Buddhist. Also, some political rulers converted to Buddhism.

Hinduism is more of a way of life than a Religion. It is present with every possible name and form for Truth or the Divine. This is because Hinduism requires that we see the same reality in all the diversity of creation – that we see the same Self in all beings. It is not because Hinduism is trapped in the diversity of name and form but because its sense of unity is inclusive. Hinduism is not attached even to its own names and forms, however diverse. It can accommodate the names and forms of all religions into its view.

This universal view pervades the form of the teachings of Hinduism, which consists of many different approaches to the same One Reality. It allows the teaching of Hinduism to include all time and all religion, and affords it a characteristic tolerance and combined view of life. Hindu’s mode of living is governed by what is called the “Caste System”. This fourfold caste consists of the Brahmins or the priests, the Kshatriyas or the warriors, The Vaishyas or the merchants or artisans and lastly the Sudras or the servants whose sole purpose is to serve the other three classes.

No one imparts a person into these classes. One has to be born a Brahmin or a Vaishya. The question of why one person is born in one caste and one in the other again depends on ones deeds. At first everyone is born a Brahmin, as a consequence of one’s conduct, one again takes birth in a different order. This appealed to the Rich and the people who were already a high caste, because they would live in luxury until death.

In India, change was happening. Many new religions appeared and many forms of worship came about. Not only was this in India, but the world was going through this change. Different groups were attracted to different religions. Many religions evolved and suited peoples needs, thus prospering.
