Many prediction what will Obama do after he retired from his position as a president

Many prediction what will Obama do after he retired from his position as a president

- When he leaves office in 2016, he’ll probably start the lecture tour and become a statesman, like Carter and Clinton.

- Write another book, start a presidential library, probably inChicago, go on speaking tours, cut an album, golf…

- What all past Presidents do I guess. Make speeches and get paid for it. Bill Clinton has made a fortune.

- Since GW Bush has been out of office you rarely even hear of him making a speech. Bill Clinton has made 75 million so if Bush even made 15 million it is a drop in the bucket.

- A thousand dollars a handshake can add up as well.

- Well, if he wanted to make big money, he should follow in George W. Bushes footsteps, and go on the speaking circuit. Bush has made over $15 million giving speeches since he left office.

- It breaks down to $110,000 a speech. Not too shabby.

- Anyone, anywhere, can be a religious figure. I don’t think that Obama is interested in that, however. He will do what all ex Presidents do – open a library, make public appearances, give speeches.

- When he leaves office in 2016, he may go back to teaching. He taught Constitutional Law prior to politics.

or maybe like Bush, Almost immediately after leaving office he withdrew from the broader bully pulpit thatother former presidents, such as Jimmy Carter, have used to weigh in on matters of public import. But he also joined the storied ranks of former politicians who are now making money on the speaking circuit– and it’s paying off.

What about Your opinion?

The man above John Jackson should be remembered with fondness and affection. John throughout his long 77 year life endeared himself to so many and moved the art of true blues guitar and song to new levels for anyone who sat and listened to him.

I had the pleasure of meeting John and his agent Trish while I was one of the organizers at the Gloucester International Blues Festival in England. I watched from the wings of the stage at John with Trish sitting next to him play to his audience, some of whom had never heard of him before. Little did they know this man had just been diagnosed with liver cancer and little did they know that this would probably be the last time they would see him. As he played seasoned blues players standing behind me listened as well and there comments were only to clear to hear. Look at his thumb move one whispered as John played Lay me Down, how does he do that. It was a performance I will always remember and find myself lucky I was there to share in one of his final performances he will be missed.

John Jackson was born in Woodville Virginia just below his beloved Blue Ridge Mountains on the 25th February 1924 he also had 13 other brothers and sisters. Born to farmer parents who also played music to earn a bit of cash life was quite hard but you wouldn’t know that today, for in the short time I new him I never heard a bad word from him. On the contrary he was a great story teller and had us enthralled over lunch, with my wife becoming a fan immediately.

John first picked up a guitar when he was 4 years of age, his fathers it is said, after that one of his siblings purchased one for him when he was about five. But times were hard so it wasn’t long before John had to put his guitar down and head for work. He had very little formal education and left school after only a few months of 1st grade then going to work on his fathers farm never learning how to read and write. He kept playing though with his Mother and Father at parties but gave up the guitar just walked away from it. When pressed for his reasons he would say in those days it sometimes led to violence and would not pick up the guitar again until the 1950’s when he moved to Fairfax County near Washington D.C. Here he met his beloved wife Cora and started working on a dairy farm and started his favorite job that of a grave digger. It is here that he now began to play again learning his trade from an immense list of people. John learn’t from members of a chain gang constructing roads near by and anyone he could find. He continued this life style until the mid sixties where he was spotted by Chuck Perdue. He went onto perform at various local venues in the Washington D.C. area and recorded his first album in 1965 called Blues and Country dance songs from Virginia. The rest is history and this article is for one of the most unassuming people I have met John Jackson and to prove this point if we go back to that lunch we had with him and Trish on that warm Saturday in Gloucester England, he didn’t even mention that he played at the White House for President Jimmy Carter and was awarded a National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts

Thanks John and Thanks Trish for keeping an eye on him
Stevetheblogger

The Obama Administration's proposed 2013 Budget makes no changes to entitlement programs and continues the current course of American deficit spending. Not only are there no dramatic changes in the budget to rein in runaway federal spending, there is no hope for a long-term solution to America's overspending. No change and no hope is the Administration's economic plan for 2013.

The Obama administration’s 2013 budget proposal will be released on Monday, February 13 and will reflect an administration paralyzed with indecision and lacking any vision whatsoever on reining in America’s overspending. The borrowing at the trillion dollar level for another year is built into the budget, and no changes are being proposed to entitlement programs. The reason for this is that Obama does not want to upset any constituencies in the upcoming election. The one constituency with the most to lose is not voting this election, and that is America’s children who will have to live with the enormous costs of today’s government borrowing. Borrowing that the White House is doing nothing to curtail.

It is a weak, visionless, cowardly budget that relegates America’s future to a debt-heavy lumbering post-empire decrepitude on both ideas and action. The budget from the Obama administration would be suitable for Britain in the 1970’s or Jimmy Carter in the last 1970’s — defensive, uncreative, political, administrative. The bureaucrats will love this budget because it upsets none of their priorities of spending and the status quo.

In 2011 entitlement programs accounted for 43% of all federal spending. Without changes, 54% of federal spending will be taken up by entitlement spending in 2022. It will be impossible to cover these costs without large tax increases or large spending cuts in other programs — it will be easier to deal with these eventualities if they are confronted now rather than when there is a crisis, but the Obama administration does not want to take the lead on entitlement cuts.

The 2013 budget proposed by the Obama administration will project a deficit of approximately $900 billion compared to the approximately $1 trillion deficit projected for this budget year. The lower deficit projection is the result of higher corporate taxes and higher taxes proposed on citizens earning more than $250,000 per year in gross income. In addition, the Obama administration is counting about $200 billion in savings from the wars in Iraq and Afganistan in its budget deficit figure. Without those savings, the deficit would approximate the deficit for this year.

Without meaningful action on entitlement spending, the country runs the risk of a major credit crisis in which China and other world powers refuse to loan additional money to the United States. If that happens, it could happen suddenly, leaving the United States no choice but for the federal reserve to print money to buy up the debt of the U.S., thereby likely causing a currency crisis in which the dollar tumbles in value against foreign currencies and sparks escalating inflation as it would take more dollars to buy the same goods.

Obama's State of the Union speech last night was neither entertaning or motivational to anyone aware of what is happening in the U.S. today.

Having insulted major leaders from around the world, Obama stated that our foreign relationships are better than ever, when in fact, leaders are patiently waiting for Obama to be gone. He spoke as the Community Organizer he was trained to be when he spoke of the teamwork of the Navy Seals in their recent accomplishments. He spoke of trust when most feel he lied in his campaign promises and has not produced the results he guaranteed. He stated firmly that our country is doing great, when in fact, the last quarter showed a poor growth of less than 2%. Recent figures were only slightly higher and were mainly due to holiday spending. Critical of colleges not training enough people for jobs, he noted that colleges should lower their tuition to make it possible for more toattain a degree. However, fact is that majority of graduates are unable to find jobs in their degreed field with most either unemployed or underemployed. Remember that the Democrats wanted the age raised to 23 for children to be covered under parents medical insurance? They would not need that coverage if they were employed! One out of five men over 30 are unemployed. Almost 50% of those under 30 are unemployed. He ordered Congress again to work together, yet he is reluctant to work with them as their leader. Is it ignorance or ego that drives Obama to give such an irrelevant speech or is his primary goal to win another term, no matter the consequences to our country. Lyndon Johnson, surely a man with a huge ego, stepped away from an election because it was best for the country for him to do so. Richard Nixon, a man who staked his success on being reelected, was eventually ousted from office as a danger to our country. Jimmy Carter persisted in running for reelection despite extreme dissatification and a history of failure, and lost, considering himself the victim of politics. President Obama came to the office with little background, no history of success, but a lot of rhetoric filled with promises he could not keep. Last nights’ speech affirmed that he lacks the knowledge, and experience, to lead our country. Let us not be fooled by the rhetoric of a union organizer. He did not address the most important issues of jobs, Medicare, or the Keystone Pipeline which is like a neighbor bringing a cake when you move into the neighborhood. It’s right there, provides answers to some of our biggest problems, and allows us to work with our neighbors, not our enemies.

Me and Newt are from GA. Do I vote for him.

Newt Giingwich is Georgia boy just like me. We were born on the same day. I know how touching that is but the similarities end there. I am not a big fan of Newt and I do not like his campaign methods. Yes, I know he got whipped in Iowa by his counterpart Mitt, but that is how it goes in the caucuses. Now Newt has been involved in many policies during his years in office. While he was Speaker of the House, he was the leader in getting many laws passed while Clinton was in office. I remember the country prospering during Clinton’s presidency.

Newt has many good ideas and will probably be a decent president. His campaign will have to get better. newt has to get back to his nasty roots to win the republican nomination, but I do not think that will happen. Do I think he is the best man for the job. Yes, but he won’t win. Going into Iowa he was a favorite. leaving Iowa he is almost a has been. I don’t even know if I will vote for Newt. I would have voted for Jimmy Carter if I had been old enough. Because I am from Georgia, that is why. I just can’t reasonably vote for anybody because we lived within three hours of each other. Jimmy Carter lives one hour from me. How was that outcome from our country. Will newt be another Carter. I don’t know. Lets just wait and see.

The grandness and fighting of the sun on anthropomorphic beings is greatly underestimated. We say we relish somatesthesia the sun’s rays on our stark skin, but we don’t hump why. We same sunny days, but we’re not certain what virtually them makes us so content. The sun is all-powerful.

The sun’s power is only lately beingness harvested as it should be. Despite Jimmy Carter’s efforts in the 70s, Americans eff overlooked solar drive as an alternative to conventional fuel sources. The sun is possibly the most historic and muscular ingeniousness this planet has.

In the early few period, scientists are also discovering how the sun’s rays affect fill. They make pinpointed everything from incurvation to migraines as a result of diminuendo light on a person’s embody. With the rife use of sunscreen, we and our children are actually dramatically depreciating the turn of sun we get. Our bodies are turn to crave it.
The importance and impact of the sun on anthropoid beings is greatly underestimated.

The importance and result of the sun on anthropomorphic beings is greatly underestimated. We say we bask belief the sun’s rays on our bare strip, but we don’t know why. We equal sunny life, but we’re not trusty what nearly them makes us so paradisaical. The sun is all-powerful.

The sun’s commonwealth is only lately beingness harvested as it should be. Despite Jimmy Carter’s efforts in the 70s, Americans hold overlooked solar life as an secondary to traditional hydrocarbon sources. The sun is perchance the most distinguished and omnipotent ingeniousness this follower has.

In the once few eld, scientists are also discovering how the sun’s rays regard group. They jazz pinpointed everything from imprint to migraines as a outcome of depreciatory sunlight on a person’s embody. With the rife use of cream, we and our children are actually dramatically abating the become of sun we get. Our bodies are turn to starve it. More and solon doctors are prescribing the increment Vitamin D. It is recommended on a regular groundwork to helpfulness engagement the personalty this lack of sun is having on our wellbeing and our bodies.

Doctors especially narrate fill in federal climates who not only have less daytime hours, but also are ofttimes unfree indoors for months at a abstraction during harsh winters. They could go for months without the sun direct impinging them, with exclusive unpredictable exposure through car windshields and windows.

This demand of sun could feature something to do with why so many writer group get sick in states settled in the Federal Federated States. It seems suchlike people who smouldering in the southwest, much as Arizona, live less sickness and symptom gross as a assemblage.

These sun-drenched states are seemly leaders in harnessing the nation of the sun, using solar panels to fascinate sprightliness. This strength can be stored and level allows few fill to completely disconnect from the electrical cookware.

People can use their solar gather to promote to the electrical installation during the period and then accept wager from it at period, when the sun doesn’t occur. In few cases, residents use flatbottom lower strength than they further. In those elating instances, the electrical companies actually displace the doc a delay for use of the spirit. Can you imagine never again having to channelize the auto assort a curb? And instead, receiving a chit from the friendship apiece period? Brutal and author group pretermit onboard the solar nation car, this leave not be much a thin occurrence. It will metamorphose much and statesman shared and we instrument see writer solar doe and inferior noesis from conventional and no sustainable vim sources.

This is electrifying. The sun has not only kept humans existing for centuries, but it may be what keeps this planet live for centuries to get. We curst few quantify when covetousness rotated people off from solar drive in the 70s, but it’s not too modern to do something now and insure the later of our grandchildren.
