Reuters) – A former intern at the White House of a love affair lasted 18 months with the late U.S. President John F. Kennedy when he was in office and talked about the intimate details in a new book published on Wednesday.

Mimi Alford and discussed by the age of 19 years when I started training at the White House in 1962, secret sexual relationship with the president in her book (he was secretly in the past .. my relationship with President John F. Kennedy) “Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy. ”

She told Meredith Vieira of the network (NBC), it had decided to write this book out of fear for herself, of “death.”

Alford said in an interview broadcast on Wednesday: “I do not feel much I expose myself then it is that I truly liberated from the concerns of myself – to do a very difficult thing for me.”

She spoke about the details of the former intern include swimming with the president just four days after the start of the training and doing homework on her way to Washington to have sex with Kennedy.

Alford said, “it should feel guilty. Was married to Mrs. Kennedy. But I did not feel guilty at the time.”

There are numerous reports since the assassination of Kennedy in 1963 that his relationship outside marriage with many women, including allegations of a relationship with a flattering star Marilyn Monroe.

Alford said about these reports, “I think this is probably one of the reasons that make me feel sad when I remember the past. It was make me feel very special.”

Over 50 years ago, John Kennedy raised the hopes of the youth in the United States. He was a hero that older Americans could be proud of. He was the torchbearer of our future. Tears filled the eyes of Americans after those bullets rang out in Dallas.

John Kennedy brought not only his name, but his entire family into the living rooms of Americans. He was handsome, smart and affable. Everyone aspired to be like the Kennedy family. Women sought to be the Jackie look-a-likes in wearing the dresses and hats she made so popular. No one realized at the time what was happening in Camelot. Affairs, political dealings, a President on heavy pain medication, and a tilted picture of the “perfect” family. John Kennedy brought hope to a nation that was still recovering from a world war and enjoying a period of affluency where soldiers returned from the war, could gain an education and buy a home. It was a good time but one due for change. Kennedy challenged the youth of America to take action to help those less fortunate. The old guard gave way to the new politicians who wore skinny ties and spoke out loudly about the time for change. The people retained their trust in the Kennedy’s and looked forward to Bobby becoming President to carry foward the message of change, until the bulletts again rang out in San Francisco, snuffing out the life of another bright, young, hopeful candidate. In the past 50 years, we have had wars that most did not support, scandal in Washington from pedophiles to larceny. We’ve had the Yuppie generation, a President that brought disgrace to the Office and most recently, a Community Organizer with leanings towards Socialism who won because he was “popular”. We’ve had winners and we’ve had losers but today, in 2012, are we looking for another Camelot, or are we looking for someone who can fit the job description of being President of the U.S. and leader of the free world? Oh, that’s right….there is no job description….so what makes a President wonderful?

Porter said that the tone that expressed disappointment in the voice of Kennedy had been quite remarkable, to listen to opposing points of view and not necessarily increased the difficulty of defining the steps to be taken on the country in Vietnam.

She said that listening to recordings, and tones and layers Kennedy voted up and down and dwell talks provides a rare view of historians, it was impossible to obtain from the records of official meetings.

In this article I will give arguments in the case of Babushka Lady.

1. Oliver admitted to record the passing parade with Super-8 camera Yashica given by her boyfriend, Larry Ronco. However, this type of camera was not sold new in 1963 and is available for sale to the public in 1967.

2. Oliver said that the tapes were seized by an FBI agent on November 25, 1963. Oliver and then identify if the FBI agent Regis Kennedy was (no relation to President Kennedy). However, this charge is denied because on that date, Regis was in New Orleans interviewing Jack Martin, a private investigator who claimed to have information about the Kennedy assassination.

3. No one can confirm the presence saksipun Oliver in Dealey Plaza during the incident.

4. Oliver said if he melhat Kennedy’s head explodes and looks like blood splattered on the back of a car Limo. This testimony does not match the description of witnesses and other recordings.

5. Oliver said that two weeks before the murder, at Carousel Club, Jack Ruby introduce someone to him and called him as “Lee Oswald of the CIA”. This introductory calls witnessed by a dancer named Jada who was denied this claim. Jada also admitted that he never saw Oswald. Warren Commission which was formed later by the U.S. government to investigate Kennedy’s death have also concluded that Oswald and Ruby did not know each other.

6. Oliver admitted talking to Jada on the night before the murder occurred. However, Jada admitted that he had not worked with Carousel since October 31 and not be there on November 21.

7. Oliver admitted that the night before the murder, he had dinner with Jack Ruby who gave Polkadot patterned shirt. But Jack’s friends who also ate dinner together that night Jack did not see where Oliver said that night.

The arguments that trust Beverly Claims:

1. Babushka Lady recorded in the Zapruder film (and also other films) has similarities with Oliver, like height, weight and age. In the recording was also seen that the babushka lady standing with a slightly awkward position. Oliver does have a little defect in the left leg.

2. In a document stored in the national archives of JFK, there is a final sentence that was quite interesting. It reads: “Is freedom of information legislation can make a film archive babushka Lady emerged from the FBI to the surface?”

Oliver claims this sentence indicates that the tapes seized by FBI agents are true.

3. Beverly Oliver was never trying to take advantage of the confession. The new story was recorded by the author Bucahanan Coke in 1994, 31 years after the tragic event. If he is going to benefit from the recognition that, why wait for 31 years?

4. No one other than Oliver appeared and claimed as a babushka lady. Is not it strange that Oliver made up the story a lie? Does he not worry that the original babushka Lady appeared to the public if he made a false confession?

5. Indeed, it is mentioned that no witnesses who could confirm if Oliver was in Dealey Plaza during the assassination. But also there were no witnesses who can say if Oliver was elsewhere when the incident happened.

6. When Gary Shaw first met Oliver in 1970, Gary does not believe it with his confession. He asked Oliver shows the location of the establishment when the shooting occurred. Oliver was able to show properly. In fact, the Zapruder footage not widespread at that time. Moreover, Gary’s reputation as a leading researcher of course will not blindly accept the claims of a woman is a liar. If Oliver is only a liar, Gary would not seriously.

7. Until now, the FBI has never denied the story of Beverly Oliver (though also not justify it) and they also never denied Oliver’s claim that the FBI confiscated the recording film (Although they also do not justify it).

On 22 November 1963, John F. Kennedy was shot dead in the area of Dealey Plaza, Dallas. To this day, there is only one prime suspect is unfortunately also shot dead before he could stand trial. So, arguably, this case has not been getting a bright spot, except perhaps, if the photographs are taken of a mysterious woman known as the babushka lady came to the surface.

Babushka Lady is an alias given to a woman who could be an important witness in the murder of Kennedy. This name was given because she was seen wearing a scarf covering the head similar to that used by the elderly in Russia. The word itself babushka means “grandmother” or “old woman” in Russian.

After Kennedy’s assassination incident occurred, police and the FBI asking people to submit all records and photographs taken on site perisitiwa to seek further instructions. One of the best recordings of the events is obtained from a citizen named Abraham Zapruder. Zapruder footage is then shown the existence of a mysterious woman called the babushka lady.

In the film, babushka lady was seen standing on the grass between Elm Street and Main street while holding the camera. He also briefly recorded in several other films and photographs taken in Dealey Plaza on 22 November 1963.

A few moments after the shooting, he looks to join the crowd and climbed into the Grassy Knoll (grassy knoll) nearby. Last seen when he was walking east toward Elm Street. And since then, the mysterious woman and the photographs taken that may never appear to the public.

Police and the FBI concluded that this woman may be a key witness and the photographs taken may be able to provide additional information about what really happened in Dealey Plaza at that time.

The FBI then went to wash the entire photo printing shop in the area and asked if there was a woman who had asked for photographs of the Kennedy assassination was washed prints taken from the angle of the babushka lady.

From this investigation, a clue emerged from a Kodak technician named Jack Harrison. He said that on November 22, 1963, an old red-haired woman asks her 30s to process the photos are similar to the shooting angle babushka lady. But these photos turned out blurry and indistinct. Can not be known with certainty whether the woman is the babushka lady.

The identity of this mysterious woman and her unwillingness to appear to the public and sparked a lot of new theories about the Kennedy assassination. Some say that this woman is the real killer Kennedy. Object that looks like the camera was probably an elaborate weapon that has been used to shoot. But this theory is soon broken by the fact that the bullet that killed Kennedy were fired from above.

Some others say that this woman may have snagged another case that he did not want to progress to the public that can make his case again revealed.

A few years after the murder, identity babushka lady was still dark.

Then, in 1970, A new clues emerged to the surface when a researcher famous murder cases named J Gary Shaw met a young woman named Beverly Oliver after a service at a small church in Joshua, Texas, in November 1970. Oliver admitted to Gary that he is the real Lady babushka.

Beverly Oliver was born in 1946 and worked as a dancer and singer at the Colony Club is located next to the Carousel Club which is owned by Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby, the man who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy’s killer prime suspect, on November 24, 1963, just two days after Kennedy was killed. Jack confessed to killing Oswald because he wanted revenge for the death of Kennedy. Jack Ruby himself died in prison in 1967 for lung cancer.

Oliver admitted, at the time of the incident, he was standing in the south of Elm Street when John F. Kennedy was assassinated. In that position, he is arguably one of the witnesses who were closest to Kennedy.

Does this woman really babushka lady?

If we read about the babushka lady in a variety of sources, then we will discover that Beverly Oliver’s claim is considered as a lie. However, actually not so. Some researchers believe that Beverly Oliver is really babushka lady.

To understand how to view the pros and cons, some of the arguments underlying this opinion of each party.

A Freshman Year Essay on JFK.

“Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s renowned words were first delivered to the American people on a cold January afternoon in 1961. JFK’s inauguration address has been universally extolled as one of the best speeches of all time. Since JFK was the youngest president to ever be in office there is no doubt that he encountered much skepticism. His speech had many purposes but most importantly it gave him positive public recognition. The address was written to encourage Americans to get actively involved with their country. The speech was so influential that it is still quoted from today, and will be remembered forever. This speech is not merely renowned for its presentation, (like other memorable speeches) but for JFK’s use of gripping rhetorical strategies and syntax to achieve his purpose. A few of the most prominent rhetorical strategies employed are antitheses, oxymoron, metaphors, and anaphoras. These techniques unify the audience with a shared sense of purpose.

JFK’s address is a melting pot of rhetorical terms. The purpose of this speech is to bestow the power and responsibility of taking collective action to uplift the nation. Antitheses are used to unify the general population. For example the comparison of “those old allies” to “those new states” signifies the importance of collaborative effort. Another strong example of antithesis is the idea of the interdependence of the poor and rich populations in society; “If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich”. And of course the famed quote that states one should not rely on his or her country (but support it) brings attention to Kennedy’s argument of the need of national responsibility. Furthermore, the use of oxymoron further strengthens JFK’s purpose. Phrases like “a hard and bitter peace” and “peaceful revolution” direct attention towards their implications.

Kennedy came into presidency at the height of Cold War. The riveting fear of the spread of Communism was felt by all Americans, and Kennedy wanted to come across to the public as a leader with a strong foreign policy. Therefore, he denounced Communism in every which way possible in his speech primarily through the use of metaphorical language. The quote, “Those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger ended inside” states clearly that all dictatorships are lost causes. Kennedy also seeks to “begin anew the quest for peace” and save humanity from the brink of nuclear war.

Though rhetorical strategies help to bring out Kennedy’s argument, creative syntax further strengthens his purpose. Anaphoras along with hortative structure portray a sense of collaborative effort and a feeling of patriotic progression. The best use of anaphora in this speech is the use of the phrase “Let us” to bestow these responsibilities, conveying a sense of unity. Furthermore the repetition of the word “pledge” is used in every promising section of JFK’s speech. This word has a very positive connotation and seems more faithful than perhaps using the word “promise”. Additionally, Kennedy refers to his audience as “us”, “we”, and “fellow”. This conveys a sense of caring and further attempts to unify the people and inspire patriotism. Another interesting technique employed is the use of short, bullet-like, paragraphs among the larger ones. Kennedy broke up the traditional body paragraph into shorter ones, allowing people to mull over each position presented.

As stated before, Kennedy did not necessarily win over the general population upon election. He seemed too young and inexperienced. But after his virtuoso inaugural address to the American people, he showed what his future goals were and established himself as a strong leader with a vision to defend the United States of America. The use of rhetorical strategies such as antitheses, oxymorons, and metaphors along with artful scheme and the use of anaphoras and repetition greatly augment his speech, making it one of most highly celebrated speeches of all time.

President John F. Kennedy Essay.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy entered his presidency in 1961 with an attitude of changing the country for the better. Most relate Kennedy to the invasion of Cuba in which America failed to over throw Fidel Castro, but Kennedy offered numerous ways of uniting the country as one (Joseph). He spoke to his citizens in his inaugural speech saying, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” During this time period, the United States was still suffering the effects of the Civil War. A debate over whether blacks should receive the same rights and benefits that whites have was constantly the main focus of the country. With supremacists on both sides, John F. Kennedy could not choose one side and make the people content. He chose to support racial equality. This position gained him supporters, and also enemies. The journey for this equality was going to be rough, and eventually cost him his life.

May 29, 1917, John F. Kennedy was born to his parents, Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. and Rose Fitzgerald. He had an older brother called Joe Jr. who became a football star and leading student in his school. After several years, John F. Kennedy would have 8 siblings in his family. Kennedy was exposed to political positions early from his grandfather, John Fitzgerald, who served three terms in the Congress and was elected mayor of Boston. Throughout Kennedy’s early childhood he was ill often. He was constantly taken out of school because he had to be in the hospital so long (Cooper). It started when he got appendicitis in 1931, but then he was diagnosed with colitis in 1934. Afterwards, he spent two months hospitalized for leukemia symptoms. As soon as he was well, he was accepted into Harvard College. He participated in the varsity swim team and wrote the 1936 annual “Freshman Smoker.” He traveled abroad his senior year to the Soviet Union, the Balkans, Middle East, and some parts of Europe to complete his thesis of Great Britain’s involvement in the Munich Agreement.

John F. Kennedy was determined to serve in the army, though when he first applied he was rejected because of the poor condition of his back. Soon after this upset the U. S. Navy accepted his application and Kennedy climbed the ranks up to lieutenant. While commanding a patrol torpedo boat in 1943, a Japanese destroyer collided into his vessel and threw him into the water. Although his back was injured he carried his wounded crew member 3 miles until he got back to shore. Because of Kennedy’s heroic deed, he was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Medal. Throughout the Second World War he received these medals: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and a Purple Heart – resulting in an honorable discharge in 1945.

Following his grandfather’s footsteps, Kennedy decided to get involved with politics. In 1946, he was granted a seat in the House of Representatives. He ran as a Democratic candidate, though in his voting history he was not strictly in favor of the Democratic views. He often voted against Harry S. Truman, the Democratic president at the time. Moving up in the political standings, Kennedy was elected to the Senate (Hamilton). During his serving period he had to undergo many spinal operations, leaving him critically ill and taking his time away from the Senate. During his rehabilitation he wrote his well-known book, Profiles in Courage, about Senators who put their career in jeopardy by standing up for their personal beliefs. This particular book landed John F. Kennedy with a Pulitzer Prize in 1957. Kennedy gained his national audience when he was nominated for Vice President under Aldai Stevenson, although he lost.

The loss did not hinder his motives to strive higher. He began his campaign for becoming president in 1960 running as a Democratic candidate. Kennedy’s first obstacle to overcome for gaining supporters was his religion, Catholicism. To calm the citizens’ worries about his religion affecting his decisions he stated in a speech, “I do not speak for my Church in public matters – and my church does not speak for me.” In the end of the campaign, John F. Kennedy was up against the Republic representative, Richard Nixon. During the campaign, Kennedy arranged for Martin Luther King, Jr. to be released from jail early because he did nothing wrong, starting his efforts to achieve racial equality through the nation. Although many from Alabama and Mississippi refused to support Kennedy due to his opinions on the Civil Rights Movement, he came out on top. The United State’s thirty-fifth president, and even announced the youngest president to ever be elected to the office.

Being an advocate for the Civil Rights Movement was not an easy position for a president. At the time, the Congress was dominated with white Southern Democrats. Kennedy knew if he ever wanted to pass laws regarding racial equality he needed to do it subtly and not abruptly. Many leaders of this movement did not see excessive support from Kennedy, but he did help when he could. During the Freedom Rides Kennedy assigned certain federal marshals to protect the protestors instead of using FBI agents that he knew would not cooperate. Kennedy would not accept turning the other cheek when he saw discrimination. He acknowledged the schools that were disobeying the law of integration and he used federal troops to force the schools to allow African American students. Even football teams were putting off integration as long as they could. The Washington Redskins refused to integrate, so Kennedy threatened to take away the federally funded stadium until they agreed. Immediately afterwards they began accepting African American players.

John F. Kennedy was not happy with the status of the African American jobs. He took this matter into his own hands, and appointed more than forty African Americans to the federal positions. Five of those positions were federal judges. Kennedy appointed his brother, Robert Kennedy, as Attorney General in order to help enforce civil rights that had already been passed. Numerous lawsuits were brought against locals who refused to register African Americans who were willing to vote. Officials from Louisiana were threatened prison time for denying money be given to desegregated schools. John F. Kennedy used his position to prove to his people that he meant business. He was not going to sit back and let the citizens of his country abuse each other for the mere reason of skin color.

John F. Kennedy became fed up with the disobedience of the laws and the uncooperative enforcers not doing their jobs. Kennedy gave his civil rights speech on television and broadcasted over the radio. This lecture promised that voting will be more closely watched and regulated, schools would be open to black AND white people, and no one was going to stop him from making racial equality mandatory for his nation. Though, regretfully, the N.A.A.C.P. leader, Medgar Evers, was murdered that night after Kennedy’s speech. Using all his equality statements in his speech, he proposed a Civil Rights Act of 1964. Knowing it was going to be difficult to pass, Kennedy approached it sections at a time. After the bombing of the Baptist Church killing six innocent girls, the original draft had enough votes to be sent on even though many voters were southern Democrats.

In 1963, an FBI Director that despised Martin Luther King, Jr. was accusing King’s associations of being communists. Kennedy saw the threat that the FBI was proposing and immediately warned King of the allegations -suggesting that King shut down the accused groups to prevent derailing the Administration’s plans for civil rights. King was too passionate about his organizations that he politely declined. Being stuck in a tight position, Robert Kennedy had to issue a wire-tapping to be sure King was not being dishonest. President Kennedy approved for only limited wire-tapping, only long enough for the FBI to tell whether the position of King’s groups were communistic. This went on until 1966, and a few years later Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot and killed.

November 22, 1963 was the most tragic day in John F. Kennedy’s life. He traveled to Dallas, Texas, in order to speak politically to Democratic members. Lee Harvey Oswald was the accused offender, shooting Kennedy in the back and the head. Oswald stated his was innocent, but he was shot by Jack Ruby before the trial could take place. There is not certainty whether Oswald committed this crime or not, but John F. Kennedy was not only the youngest president to be elected, but president who died the youngest. He was buried in the Arlington National Cemetery with the Irish Army being his honor guard. His wife, Jackie, lit Kennedy’s eternal flame on his grave. In 1968, his brother Robert was assassinated as well, and was buried right beside him.

John F. Kennedy was an inspirational character with an outstanding love for his nation. He risked his life to change the American people’s opinions on race. Equality was his number one issue. He would not accept one person being better than the other because of color. He viewed the citizens among him as brothers and sisters who should get along and help each other strive. Kennedy died a hero to our country and will forever be remembered as the president who risked it all. As his vice president, Lyndon B. Johnson, took over he kept Kennedy’s original plans for America during his presidential term and supported them, finally passing the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Have you heard this phrase - what a personality? If yes, than this article is for you.

Image via Wikipedia

Some leaders are like magnet in attracting top talents. A lot of top talented people are attracted towards some specific leaders. Being curious nature, I had asked these question to some young talented people – What are the reasons behind this attraction? What are the main leadership traits that attract you? I have got some great responses.

There are many traits that are responsible for this attraction but when I did the survey among some young top talented people, the results were extremely shocking and only one trait that was common in all the answer. Some said that integrity and some said that leading by example, creativity, adaptability, assertiveness, humility, sense of Humor etc. etc.

But they all agreed on a one trait and that is my friend personality. Then I realized how personalty plays a big role in leadership. This survey shows if you have a positive personality than chances are higher for you to attract top talent nobody will be attracted towards negative personalities.

Here I would like to clarify the meaning of personality. Personality is broader term and it is related with your way of feeling, thinking, expressing words and behaving. For example Mahatma Gandhi and John F. Kennedy had charming and magnetic personality. Although personality is not the only element of effective leadership but it is such an important one that you can not ignore it.

A provocative look at the despotism of our country.

“The very word secrecy is repugnant in a free and open society.” -John F. Kennedy

Our secret and shadowed government have ruined and added to the decay and despotism to our county. Wall Street and a national bank have seized control over our free society. We are constantly being bombarded with what is politically correct and how to live our lives. In a free and open society we should express and embrace all forms of Liberty. Our liberties have been eroded away and our bill of rights has been almost shredded to nothing. Our puppet government have been in control for over one hundred years. Six times in our American heritage we have fought a national bank. Alexander Hamilton the very founder of a national bank, knew that if the monies interest. Would be able to control a nations people. A few presidents understood that a national bank was extremely dangerous to our very fabric of our free society. As Americans we should and ought to be against any form of secret government. Our society was built with the vision that all men were created equal. And that a free society and free Republic. Our country is a founded republic not a democracy. Our country has been fundamentally opposed to a society in which our liberties are being stripped right in front of our faces. Everyday people see but don’t pay attention to what our government has done. A few generations have fallen asleep on their watch and it is now up to us to re-awaken the people of the united states. We need to jolt them awake by any means necessary. Why should there be a shadow government? Do you want your parents being arrested by their children? This will start occurring as soon as they in doctrine our children to turn against their parents and grand parents. Can you imagine turning your mother into the gestapo and stand idly by as they are dragged out of their homes and loaded onto cattle trucks to be taken away to re-education camps. This has always been the tactics,of communist and authoritative regimes. Our American heritage is being robbed and our country is being looted.

Six times presidents and people have stood up to the national bank system. We are answering to the very people we have fought against. Why do we need a national bank? The answer is simple we don’t. We have the right to have our government print our own money and to back it any way we see fit. With gold, silver, copper, nickle, aluminum, platinum, or even grains. This will bring back sound money. This will restore the power to the people of this country, they will fight hard to keep their power. However we are more than them. They will commit violence against you. Watch the protests on the television rather than just believing what the puppet government is telling you. We have an obligation, to stand against all forms of tyranny to risk our lives and shed our blood for our country. Our founders understood that a republic of laws was the most influential government in the world. All people have a right and an obligation to stand against this form of government, why have Americans become so complacent? Why are we allowing the federal government to strip our rights? We must not allow the government any more power. We have no choice in the matter I have heard people say this time and again. However we do have a choice, we need to be bold and unafraid we must stand and yell we will not go quietly into the night. We must be disobedient to their rule of tyranny. We must not be afraid because if you are afraid the puppets win. I know the thought of giving your life for this cause is scary. Be not afraid. Be strong. The puppets have killed our true political leaders and replaced them with their leaders. And their laws. Disregarding the contract between the government and the people. Working hard to void our contract between We the People, and our government.
