Salt and The Tourist are her new movies that will be out in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Phew..long wait, huh.

Jolie is a very talented actress, but I respect her for the work she does for humanitarian causes. I am also proud of her for adopting those adorable kids- Maddox, Pax, and Zahara. Her personal life gets all juicey at times, but let’s not go there now (LOL). After all, it is her personal life.

Salt is a movie that falls under the Action and thriller genre. It is about CIA agent Evelyn Salt, played by Jolie, whose loyalty towards her country is tested. This is because a defector comes up with an accusation that Jolie is a Russian sleeper spy. She then needs to use her intelligence and training as a CIA agent to protect herself, so that she does not get caught. She also needs to prove her innocence. There is a whole hunt focused at uncovering the truth behind her identity, and finally the question of ‘Who really is Salt?’ is unravelled. Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Daniel Olbrychski are some other members of the cast.

Salt was supposed to be a male character played by Tom Cruise. But finally, the movie was scripted for Jolie. It is supposed to be released on 23 July 2010 in the US. The Tourist is a movie I am personally looking forward to. This is because Jolie is going to team up with Johnny Depp! Oh, I adore Johnny Depp. I am sure I am not alone when it comes to that (LOL). The Tourist belongs to the drama/thriller genre. This movie is still in pre-production phase, and is supposed to release in 2011.

Jolie plays an Interpol agent who seeks the help of Depp, the American ‘Tourist’, to locate a criminal. The twist is that this criminal was Jolie’s lover. Here again, Tom Cruise was to play the male lead role. But now we have Depp playing the role with Jolie. (Hot pair!).
