Mostly Muslims Reject Al Qaeda,The majority of Muslims in countries with majority Muslim population has a negative view of the militant organization Al Qaeda network. Thus the results of a recent poll by the Pew Research Center, a research institute based in Washington DC, USA, which was released Monday (30/4).

Mostly Muslims Reject Al Qaeda, The poll, which became part of the Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Project, that was held in the five Muslim-majority countries, namely Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and Pakistan.

Opinion polls showed that 71 percent of respondents in Egypt have a negative view of Al Qaeda and only 21 percent have a favorable view of the movement.

In Jordan, 77 percent of respondents did not like Al Qaeda and only 15 percent who support the network. In Turkey, the proportion of respondents who support and reject Al Qaeda was 73 percent vs. 6 percent, while in Lebanon, only two percent of respondents who support Al Qaeda. The rest of 98 percent a negative view of the militant movement.

In Pakistan, 55 percent of respondents rejected Al Qaeda and only 13 percent in favor. However, the Pew poll acknowledge is not held in all regions of Pakistan.

Some of the areas inhabited by 18 per cent of the total population of Pakistan can not be surveyed because it was considered too dangerous for poll workers.

Changed drastically

Pew also stated, support to Al Qaeda has begun to shrink even before the movement’s leader, Osama bin Laden, was killed at the hands of U.S. Navy SEAL forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan, last year.

In Jordan, for example, about 61 percent of poll respondents in 2005 claimed to believe the leaders of Al Qaeda will do good. However, after the suicide bomb attacks on three hotels in Amman, Jordan, November of that year, public opinion immediately changed drastically and at the polls next year, only 24 percent of respondents who still support Al Qaeda.

The margin of error in polls in each state varies between 4.2 to 5.2 percentage points. Pew conducted a poll is late March to early April.

Pew added support to Al Qaeda also fallen sharply in Indonesia and Palestine

New home has more bed rooms, a bigger lawn and more fittings

Family of released fear suppose are said to be "delighted" at the move

51-year-old had expected a shift from past home value £400,000.

Abu Qatada has been improved to a bigger taxpayer-funded home since his launch from prison last Calendar month, the Email can expose.

The fear suppose has informed family members in his regional The nike jordan that he is the ‘happiest man in England’ after he was rehoused to the more costly residence.

His spouse and five kids are also said to be ‘delighted’ with the shift, because their new home has more bed rooms, a bigger lawn and more contemporary accessories.

Qatada, who was once described by a assess as ‘Osama Bin Laden’s right-hand man in Europe’, requested to swap homes per weeks time after being free of Lengthy Lartin prison in Feb.

The dislike preacher had at first shifted into a £400,000 home in Wembley, Northern London, uk – sorted by the regional power – where his household were said to be shelling out £1,900 monthly lease which they financed through advantages.

But the 51-year-old expected a shift after problems from the property’s proprietor, who was livid to find he had unknowingly permitted the cleric to become his renter.

Qatada’s sibling, Ibrahim Othman, said: ‘He informed us they have now given him a very awesome new position, bigger than the first home he went to after the English let him go.

‘He is really experiencing his new home and so are his household. The within is very contemporary and has been done up more perfectly, it has more bed rooms and a bigger lawn.

‘It is better for the household. They are all very satisfied in the bigger home.

‘My sibling cannot perform so the English govt finance his household to remain there. The new home is priced at more but he does not have to pay it because there is no way he can generate income.’

Mr Othman, 32, did not know exactly how much the lease was for the new home, which is also in Wembley. He said Qatada’s new neighbors are seemingly confused that one of The uk’s most reviled citizens has shifted in beside them.

‘My sibling says nobody on their road seems to know that they have shifted in. He wants that because there is so much dislike against him in Britain now.

‘He just wants to be satisfied with his household as he is currently. He wants the easy lifestyle. Right now he is the most joyful man in Britain.’

Under the conditions of his help Qatada is permitted to set off for two time a day, but his sibling says he wants to remain in the residence. He fills up his times examining Islamic text messages and looking at Islamic TV programs.

Qatada has also been maintaining an eye on the English press reviews about him, his sibling said.

‘He informed me he is very disappointed with what has been published about him in the Everyday Email. He is far more satisfied with the BBC which has been much more good about him in its protection. Which is what he wants to see.’

In Feb, the BBC was charged of trying too challenging to be politically appropriate after it surfaced its correspondents had been informed not to explain Qatada as an extremist.

Bosses said he should be generally known as extreme instead.

Qatada was blessed Omar Othman but, outdated 19, provided himself the name Abu Qatada after an Islamic student he popular.

He was permitted to get into Britain in 1993 after visiting on a incorrect U. s. Arabic Emirates ticket.

He later stated asylum, despite his household recognizing there was no particular risk against him from the Jordanian govt bodies in those days.

If Qatada had kept in The nike jordan, he and his household would likely still be existing in his older individuals father and mother’s home in a run-down section of the investment Amman.

Twenty individuals – such as 14 kids – currently reveal the rotting five bed room home.

They involve Qatada’s mother and father, his three siblings and all their kids.

Qatada is desired in The nike jordan on fear expenses, but his removal from Britain was stopped by Western idol judges.

The Western Trial of Individual Privileges decided that Qatada could not be sent home without promises from The nike jordan that proof obtained through personal would not be used against him.

The Home Assistant Theresa May frequently went to The nike jordan this Calendar month to try to settle a cope that would allow Britain to deport him.

Part five on the State of Israel.

The tiny nation has had to defend its borders from its Arab neighbors since its birth. Border clashes, acts of sabotage, and a constant atmosphere of hostility have been the general state of affairs between Israel and the Arab states since 1945. There have been bitter disputes over the land, the water supply, and the use of the Suez Canal.

In the Six-Day War of 1967, Israel captured territory from Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. Another war in 1973 between Israel and the Arabs ended in a UN ceasefire resolution. In 1979, Israel signed a peace treaty with Egypt. Fighting continues between Israel and Palestinian forces in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.

Israel has a population of nearly 4 million people, and its recognized languages are Hebrew and Arabic. The country has a recognized area of 7,978 square miles.

How I feel about Jordan van der Sloot.

Jordan van der Sloot was a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway;

From being an horror; this loser doesn’t take a holiday.

Stephanie Flores; he did kill;

From the family, he received a $74,300 bill.

Van der Sloot wants less time in prison;

But, that will not be the judge’s decision.

He could have been sentenced to thirty years in jail;

I definitely think that in life; he fails.

He tried to bribe Holloway’s family for $250,000;

Which probably made many people scream and holler.

For his crime; he was sentenced to twenty-eight years;

That is a lot of time not to have any beers.

He has a friend named John Ludwick;

Who is probably just a big prick.

A lot of evidence is probably buried with his father;

Which, Van der Sloot; it may or may not bother.

His father, Paulus Van der Sloot had been arrested;

It’s a shame that he died with a lot of information digested.

Van der Sloot sued Flores’ father for 10 million dollars in cash;

Obviously, this man makes many decisions that are rash.

I hope that Van der Sloot dies behind bars;

And from the depths of the fiery pit of hell; he isn’t very far.

Nazca Lines in the Middle East, Puzzle ‘Nazca Lines’ weird discovered in the middle east, the Nazca lines of Peru, carving a giant (geoglif) mysterious carved for centuries has been a puzzle and the world famous, and now thousands of similar patterns have been found in Middle East.

Nazca Lines in the Middle East, Air shots and satellite have revealed the existence of ‘wheel’ mysterious stone with higher numbers and older than the Nazca carving, found in countries such as Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.

Image via Wikipedia

This giant structure estimated 2,000 years old, but how the structure was built is still puzzling archaeologists and historians.

“In Jordan itself, we have a stone structure which is much more than the Nazca Lines, a much broader area diliputinya, and much older,” said David Kennedy, a professor of classics and ancient history from the University of Western Australia, told Live Science.

The Bedouins, the nomads are found in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Libya, Egypt, and Israel, calling such structures as ‘works of the old people’.

He explained that structure comes in many forms, some like ‘kite’, the structure of animals, some meandering rows of stones that seem random, and the other rectangular.

Geoglif was first discovered in 1927 by an RAF pilot Lt. Percy Maitland, then Professor Kennedy and his team began studying aerial photos and images from Google Earth

GCC's plan to expand has come as a pleasant surprise to many countries in the middle east. Jordan's prospects to enter the organization as a member seems to be most likely.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) was formed in 1981 in order to coordinate between the six Persian Gulf states which includes Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. This multilateral organization is quite powerful and they have a lot of influence in the neighbourhood. This is because the most of the Persian Gulf states have oil and they are wealthy.

The GCC’s aim is to enhance cooperation between member countries and they have been doing a good job. The GCC countries have cooperation in various fields such as military, science and technology, health, education and many other fields. Their headquarters is in Riyadh and they meet every year.

Just recently, the GCC has considered including Jordan and Morocco as their members.

This can be seen as an expansion of the GCC as a body. This is understandable as the GCC members have good cohesion and cooperation between themselves and naturally, they may feel the need to expand their domain and bring in more members in order to consolidate their powers.

There is a little confusion as to why Jordan and Morocco is being considered for membership of the GCC. After all, neither Jordan nor Morocco come at the Persian Gulf and neither have that much oil like the GCC does. Jordan borders Syria, Saudi Arabia and Israel while Morocco is at the far end of North Africa bordering countries like Tunisia and Libya.

Jordan has been trying since a long time in order to gain entry into the GCC and it is only now that the request is being considered. Since the establishment of the GCC, the body has been very exclusive in its membership. Though the 6 members of the GCC interact with other Arab countries like Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and others through the Arab League, the membership of the GCC has remained exclusive.

So of course, the entry of Jordan into the GCC is due to larger geo-strategic benefits to the GCC because after all, in international relations and diplomacy, there are no free lunches.

So how does the GCC benefit with Jordan being a member?

To begin with, Jordan is an exporter of minerals. With membership, they can have easier market access to the gulf markets and the Gulf countries can fuel more industrialization. This serves them because they know that their oil is running out soon and they need other industries to establish a source of income before the oil actually runs out.

Next, Jordan’s educational and health facilities are quite developed. This benefits the GCC countries well. Jordanian teachers can contribute to the educational systems in the GCC countries and also promote research and development. This is beneficial especially when it comes to health facilities. They can kick-start new sectors like biotechnology and other high tech industries. Research and Development can help the GCC grow and become the next hub of technology.

Jordan has considerable political clout in the neighbourhood. First of all, it borders the state of Israel and has a peace treaty with them. So in case the Arab League decides to revoke the blockade on Israel, then Jordan can act as a mediator and bring about good relations. Jordan is also a trusted country amongst the other Arab countries. Adding Jordan into the GCC will give the GCC countries more influence in the Arab League. Jordan also has a somewhat good reputation during the Arab Spring as we see how the King of Jordan agreed to political and economic reforms in the country and the Arab Spring hasn’t been so turbulent in Jordan.

Lastly, Jordan’s military power is very good. They are US allies and are entitled to military aid from the Americans. They have good training and good equipment and are known to be good fighters. The GCC has a standing agreement on the defence of the 6 gulf states known as ‘Peninsula Shield’. This means that in case one country is attacked by an external enemy, then the GCC states will protect that country.

The Peninsula Shield agreement was invoked by Bahrain in order to quell riots during the Arab Spring. As they invoked the agreement, 1500 troops from Saudi Arabia and 500 Policemen from UAE arrived in Bahrain to police the streets. Adding Jordan would mean a bigger and better force in case they were attacked. Since the Gulf countries consider Iran as a big threat, Jordan’s inclusion would give the Gulf states bigger and better protection from being invaded and dominated.

Thus we see how the inclusion of Jordan in the GCC benefits the body to a big extent.

Pressure mounts onto President Assad to resign after Syria's Uprising.

Jordan’s King Abdullah has become the first Arab leader to call for the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, to step down in the face of a uprising that has caused risk to his regime. King Adullah said “If Bashar considers the best interest of his country, he would step down. On saturday Arab Leaders suspended Syria from the Arab League. President Assad has been in office for 11 years after his Father died in 2000 President Assad was unopposed in the syria re-elections in 2007. Syria seeing what other nations had done like Egypt taking Hosni Mubarak out of power followed suit. The Syrian uprising started in March and has been ever going. Will Syria follow Egypt’s uprising and push President Assad out of power? Syria needs to get itself back into “shape” before Western Intervention.
