The Meaning of Life
The Meaning of Life.
Rage, Rebellion, and The World Today
This was a project that I had to complete back in 2006 for what was essentially my semester grade in English 102 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I had just came off of active duty in the Marine Corps about six months prior to this and no less than a year prior to this I was serving my last combat tour in AR-Ramadi, Iraq. This was the first semester of formal schooling that I participated in since I graduated high school in 2000. The assignment was to take a topic we were passionate about, and tie it together with a movie that we enjoyed, and also compare that to Joseph Campbell’s book, "The Power of Myth."

Hero
Heroes in mythology are seeking the same experience that we in the modern world are seeking. We’re not so much seeking the meaning of life as we are seeking what it is like to be truly alive with a purpose that resonates throughout our entire being and reality.
