			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The legal world has never stopped to ponder over the Judgement of a Philadelphia female who not so long ago, denied justice to a prostitute who had been gang-raped by a couple of hoodlums in the City of Philadelphia. According to the considered legal opinion of the Judge, it&nbsp; was inconceivable that a prostitute could be raped so she ruled&nbsp; that the victim was actually not raped because she was a prostitute.</p>
<p>The details of the case were that the 20 year old single mother who was into sex trade had consented to having&nbsp; sex with her client, but just as she was about to offer her services, the so called client pulled out a gun and instead forced her&nbsp;to offer free services. As if this was not bad a enough, when he was done with the prostitute, he invited a couple of his other friends to have a field day with the single mother at gun point. &nbsp;</p>
<p>She felt that all these injustices happened to her against her will and&nbsp; therefore believed she had been raped. When the matter was taken before this Judge, she instead threw out the case on the grounds that the complainant was a prostitute who could never be covered by the the penal codes on rape.</p>
<p>Instead of charging the rapists with the crime of rape, she instead accused them of theft of services simply because they got the services without paying for&nbsp;them from the prostitute. The rapists got away almost free in a case that many feel was mismanaged and justice was denied. She went on to argue that by consenting to sex with one man, as a&nbsp;prostitute, if in the end this man wanted his buddies to have a piece of the action, it would not be such a big crime.</p>
<p>Such a judgement in America, the land of the free, where Justice usually seen to be done, sounded really very shocking, more especially that it was being handled by a woman Judge. So the poor prostitute went back home cursing herself for bringing up this case to this very uncaring&nbsp;judge.</p>

<p>I didn&rsquo;t want to keep thinking about this for 3 months plus. I may be obsessed.&nbsp; The title of this story could then be &ldquo;eccentric older lady drags young punk into court for charging her for car labor that didn&rsquo;t take place and also driving her to the bank to extract cash for work that didn&rsquo;t occur because he was pissed the old lady was getting away from his clutches.</p>
<p>I&rsquo;m slow to anger but once I get started I can become explosive with rage that has lasted on this earth for centuries; As Mr. Tolle says, it&#8217;s the pain body of women so it&#8217;s hardly even personal in that respect and yet I feel it and cannot deny it. It&#8217;s the pain body of women because it&#8217;s women who get took the most because of lack of knowledge of their car, when they take it in for a repair. I know I have to direct the anger into determinism.</p>
<p>That doesn&rsquo;t mean it&rsquo;s easy. This morning before the coffee kicked in I tried to find a place where it hurts the most. I seem to be getting more emotional this last week as a mediation session looms up on the 29th. Then I shall have to see his face again and I would rather not, nor his lawyer&rsquo;s face whom has to defend this hoodlum. For hoodlum behind a desk is what he is, and no matter how I try to find his innocence, it remains invisible to me, other than the dream image I was given of him shows the man to be the equivalent of a 9-year-old boy in a 30ish body.<br /><img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/readers/2012/05/27/brokenvase_1.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="360" /><br />Back to the place it hurts the most; no it wasn&rsquo;t the fact that I was made into a fool by being fooled. As this so called spiritual person I thought I was, I find myself thinking I am not all that spiritual. It represents some kind of loss, of self image perhaps. Nobody would believe me and I don&rsquo;t even believe myself, that a spiritual person, call it initiate, whatever, could and would drag an unconscious younger soul into a court room.</p>
<p>The only reason I could and would is that he too needs a wakeup call.<br />Back to the pain of it all. The pain will go away. Someday I will forget it was there. Emotions go away. Sometimes you&rsquo;re up, sometimes you&rsquo;re down. Such is life. Time after time, through the voice of a lawyer, my &ldquo;boy&rdquo; tries to find his innocence. Are those who sleep innocent of crime? Or are they just asleep?</p>
<p>So, too, I must watch out for myself first for I was the one who sleep walked into a car repair shop; the awakening was rude for me. Just as if a car horn had blasted your eardrum while dreaming a pleasant dream of walking through tulips.</p>
<p>Ok, I&rsquo;m awake now I shout to the sky, will somebody please turn off the waterworks behind my eyes. I study the pain of being helpless, of being not respected, despite I thought I was so nice and spiritual, and couldn&rsquo;t all see my divinity within, most people do.<br />Because I thought, most people see my divinity, because I am nearly always seeing theirs. There is unity and oneness around and about, just not in this particular repair shop I wandered into. First in a dream, then the next day in reality.</p>
<p>So it was fate I muttered under my breath. I do not like fated experiences. Something says, ah, but it doesn&rsquo;t matter what you like sometimes. Or don&rsquo;t like. You have to deal with it.</p>
<p>On the 29th I&rsquo;ll deal with it, with others dealing with it with me. And the mediation may not be successful and so then a court date will occur, and I&rsquo;ll have to keep living with this burden for another month or so.<br /><img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/readers/2012/05/27/lightindarkness_1.jpg" alt="" width="259" height="194" /><br />Oh well, nobody promised me a rose garden here. Something tells me to just be myself and stop worrying about how things will turn out.<br />So I will try that, but I thought I was just being myself when I got conned and had my thoughts manipulated by the young man who believes he is so upstanding.</p>
<p>I cannot be emotional in court. I know that. So I will just read my statement, point for point, and if I&rsquo;m the only one waking up and smelling the coffee than so be it. The courtroom perhaps becomes a place for &ldquo;discovery, and disclosure upon disclosure until you get blue in the face.</p>
<p>I&rsquo;ve learned all this legal technical language that I really didn&rsquo;t want to learn. I learned it in one sense just to try and figure out what happened those 4 days of interaction with the shop. I had to find labels for it and to some extent I did. A term called constructive fraud leaped out at me from the legal files. I grabbed it and ran with it. It didn&rsquo;t change the facts of what happened, but no matter how you label something, the law says it&rsquo;s still fraud, whether actual or constructive.</p>
<p>Constructive fraud is you would think, a constructive act. Where you build on something to turn it into something else. Constructive fraud was said to occur from a lie of omission, a thing called low balling an estimate, then when they have the keys to your car, the estimate gets quite a bit higher as the days turn into more days.<br />The shop repair scam artists have to rely on the customer not researching the problem on today&rsquo;s internet, where information of whatever kind you need is there at your fingertips.</p>

<p>It occurs to me boys and girls, we are in the internet age, as old as I am, and as traditional as I may sometimes be, even I know the internet age is a new age for us all.<br />In many ways I have blamed the internet for being so mechanical, such a platform for any filthy mouth, or any gossip and back biting. Yet I stand before you now, I might say to the court, to say someone on the internet saved my life by explaining in the greatest detail my exact car problem, on the same exact model of car I have. That is not exactly coincidental to have found this information. All I did was type in Google &ldquo;Broken Drain plug, BMW&rdquo;, and there it was, I looked to see if my name was there, as the car was also the same year as mine. That&rsquo;s when my mind was blown over yonder somewhere, as there was an easy fix for my problem.</p>
<p>Now I had to get the car away from the shop. They were not going to make it easy to walk away. I felt like I was walking unto a stage. A stage all set up to look like a reputable repair shop.<br />A place where you go in for a routine oil change and end up mentally wrestling the shop proprietor for the keys while the tow truck driver waits impatiently in the back ground. For there&rsquo;s no oil in your pan now, no plug, and you have to tow the sucker to another mechanic who actually knows his stuff.</p>
<p>At least you got lucky, you found your special mechanic. Thinking positive while all this is going on is not easy but I must have had protection that day, and I don&rsquo;t think it was my usual spiritual, we are one state of mind being experienced. The best I can describe it, is like a set up, where you just came to play your role. The shop guy played his role well, but it was a bad part, even to the mouth twitching with greed as he counted the bills I handed over, which would make me short the rest of the month, as now I was going to pay this other mechanic for the proper work to be done.</p>
<p>I was already patting myself on the back for a job well done, through my internet research. However, panic attacks were occurring the day before I towed the car away as it was almost too late to back out and you have to get over your guilt feelings that you slept through all the signals given off, that something was wrong here.</p>
<p>The price of getting a little respect is very high. It&rsquo;s called seeking legal means and making the scales of justice swing even. If you start it, you have to finish it.<br />I hope it&rsquo;s all over after the 29th of the month. I&rsquo;ve been treating, and moving my feet very fast. <br />1) Treat<br />2) Move your feet</p>
<p>As life proceeds in 2012, look for the changes in our society, or even world wide, for we shall see these changes as we look for them, and they will be positive changes. For one thing, people will start to stand up and be counted and they may fight for justice or just let another do the fight for them, but they won&rsquo;t bury their heads in the sand anymore, and they will tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth without having to swear on a bible even. The truth will set us all free. And I will be free too, I will smile again. You have to be careful who you smile at, you have to be very, very careful. <img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/readers/2012/05/27/iamsmiling_1.gif" alt="" width="100" height="100" /></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Today I received a thank you note from Ann.&nbsp; Last week, Diane, the leader of our group that goes to the local prison to study scripture with prisonerseach week,&nbsp; told us about Ann.&nbsp; Ann was in the group she worked with.&nbsp; Ann&#8217;s eye was swollen shut.&nbsp; She had been in a fight with a white woman who insulted her and when she sassed back the woman started the fight.&nbsp; Ann was arrested and put in jail for 20 days.&nbsp; Her little dog was sent to the pound.&nbsp; The truck Ann was driving with all her personal belongings was taken to the terminal 2 hours away.&nbsp; The white woman was let go.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Diane found Ann&#8217;s dog at the pound and brought her home.&nbsp; When Ann got out of prison, Diane was going to rent a van and take Ann to get her belongings.&nbsp; We have a van and I volunteered to make the drive.&nbsp; I am so grateful I did.&nbsp; Ann turned out to be a very pleasant person.&nbsp; She has been a truck driver for over 20 years.&nbsp; Instead of being angry at the injustice accorded her in light of the other person not even being charged with anything, she was grateful for the chance to be in a new place and maybe start over doing something besides trucking.&nbsp; Her note was a delight in thanking me and my husband for being kind to a stranger.&nbsp; It&#8217;s tone and content was that of an educated person.&nbsp; It hit me anew of the injustice she experienced.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; When I go to the prison each week, I meet with the hard-core men who have the misfortune to be there.&nbsp; Of course some complain that they are innocent.&nbsp; Once in a while I believe them, but not often, and most know they deserve to be in prison.&nbsp; A really sad fact, though, is that most of the men in the 2 pods I go to are hispanic or black.&nbsp; There aren&#8217;t too many white men there.&nbsp; Is it a matter of racial profiling that makes for the lop-sided population?&nbsp; I don&#8217;t really know, but there are more stories similar to Ann&#8217;s than I want to think could be true.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&rsquo;s an unfortunate fact of life. We are human, and thus, we are prone to judge others. Prejudice is something that has been a natural part of our society for thousands of years. The thought of judging someone based on their appearance rather than the quality of their character is sickening to the majority of people. Ironically, even <i>these </i>people are prejudiced. It has become such a common aspect of our lives that sometimes we don&rsquo;t even realize when we&rsquo;re doing it, but everyone of us has been guilty of it at one time or another. For years we have sought a justified method to, if not end prejudice, at least relieve some of its more damaging effects. In 1964, this became a reality with the passing of the Civil Rights act, which allowed the use of affirmative action as a means to achieve equality. But is the practice justified?</p>
<p>PRO:</p>
<p>Here are a few reasons why Affirmative action is justified.</p>
<p><strong>1:</strong> Affirmative action provides equal opportunities for people with disabilities that otherwise would not be able to succeed on their own. These days, our society is more aware of those around us that have disabilities. However, this does not stop them from being discriminated against. According to the US department of Labor, 2/3 of all people with disabilities in the United States are unemployed, the largest unemployment rate of all demographic groups. Many companies have even expressed not wanting to hire employees with disabilities due to the extra costs of accommodating their needs. Without affirmative action, it would be virtually impossible for a disabled person to get a job and earn a living. Furthermore, it is often difficult for people with severe mental disabilities to achieve a quality education. Colleges often strive to choose the best students who are high achievers and show leadership and service in the community. Unfortunately, people with learning disabilities often struggle in school and find certain concepts difficult to grasp. It goes without saying that these students would be normally overlooked. However, affirmative action ensures that these students have the same chances as everyone else to succeed. Let&rsquo;s be honest, a lot of occupations require a college education these days. You even need to get a major in Sanitation Engineering if you want to be a trash collector. Affirmative action gives people with disabilities opportunities that they would never have otherwise. Thomas Jefferson wrote these infamous words in the Declaration of Independence: &ldquo;We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among them are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness&rdquo;. It was with these words that our forefathers formed our great nation upon. Yet people with disabilities are denied these unalienable rights. They are discriminated against, are hard-pressed to make a living upon which they can support themselves, and are seldom happy with the way they are treated by these prejudiced groups. It is our duty as the United   States of America to make sure that everyone is ensured these unalienable rights.</p>
<p><strong>2:</strong> Affirmative action ensures that women have an equal opportunity to learn and prosper. According to the NOW organization, approximately 95-97% of all high level corporate jobs are held by white men. And this is <i>with</i> Affirmative action. Imagine how low figures would be <i>without</i> affirmative action. Despite civil rights laws, women still face discrimination. According to the US census bureau only 25% of all doctors and lawyers are women, less than 1% of auto-mechanics are women, and only 8.4% of engineers are women. For every dollar earned by men, women as a whole only earn 63 cents. Affirmative action levels the playing field so that women have a chance to succeed.</p>
<p><strong>3: </strong>Affirmative action is needed to make up for past racial injustices. Most of us have at least learned something about the American Civil Rights Movement. The prejudice that other races faced at the hands of our nation is unspeakable. During World War II, the United States forced people of Japanese origin to quickly sell all their property and report to internment camps. These camps were almost exactly like concentration camps (minus the mass extermination part). Many Japanese people lost their lives from being overworked and all the Japanese people within the camps had virtually no rights. And what about African Americans? Our country treated them as a dispensable labor force for centuries until the practice was finally outlawed, and even then, they still didn&rsquo;t have equal freedom. Affirmative action is our nation&rsquo;s way of giving these people a leg up in a world that oppressed them for so long.</p>
<p>CON:</p>
<p>Here are some reasons as to why Affirmative Action doesn&rsquo;t work.</p>
<p><strong> 1:</strong> The concept of affirmative action does not promote equal opportunity. The original purpose of affirmative action was to promote diversity and racial equality in industry and education. However, this cannot be achieved with the current method of execution. Affirmative action involves preferring other races and minorities and races over white, Caucasians. This is simply a form of reverse discrimination. What affirmative action is trying to do is replace malignant racism with benign racism. The only problem is benign racism does not exist. Racism is an ugly matter no matter which way you look at it. Not to mention illegal. According to the 1964 civil rights act, no one shall be denied employment or education opportunities on account of race, sex, or nationality. However, this is exactly what affirmative action does. By choosing minorities over Caucasians, it is essentially denying those opportunities on account of race, and thus is illegal, unjust, and unreasonable.</p>
<p><strong> 2:</strong> Affirmative action does not cover all minorities and thus it does not promote equal opportunities. According to the US department of Justice, affirmative action pertains to Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, Asians, African Americans, and Hispanic individuals. However, two important groups aren&rsquo;t included in this definition: Indians, and Arabs. Because affirmative action does not cover all minorities, it does not achieve its original purpose of promoting diversity. All affirmative action does is give special rights and privileges to certain minorities while ostracizing the rest and putting them at a disadvantage. Furthermore, due to the high rate of success of many Asians, they are no longer considered covered by affirmative action and are refused many education and employment opportunities. According to Asian-nation demographics and issues.org, recent data has shown that when California residents voted to end affirmative action, the number of Asians enrolled in California universities increased, demonstrating that affirmative action had actually kept many students from qualifying for admission to colleges. It is the stereotype that all Asians are successful that had alienated their equal opportunities, showing that America still has not learned its lesson. Even with affirmative action we are still discriminating against people.</p>
<p>So what do you think? Is Affirmative Action just or unjust? Only you can decide!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The proponents of the Universal Law of Life say we are primary, and some people would argue only, creators of our reality. I would like to remain with &lsquo;primary&rsquo; creator than &lsquo;only&rsquo; creator. To suggest I am the only creator of my reality makes all my history irrelevant in one casual sweeping statement. It is not irrelevant, for instance, that children of mothers who have an irrational fear of spiders, arachnophobia, are more likely to develop the phobia themselves. <p>You can just picture it: your mother standing in the middle of the room, frozen on the spot, the look of sheer terror on her face. From your perspective as a little three year old toddler, you look at the point where your mother&rsquo;s eyes are transfixed, then ping pong back to her face, and back to the spider, and in that split second your own fear is confirmed. In your mind, and as a natural survival instinct you learn that if that little thing can scare my &lsquo;big&rsquo; mama, big because as a child all adults are huge, then that little thing is very dangerous. </p>
<p>You live with the fear, brewing within for years, and becoming bigger but yet unnoticed. Twenty years later however, if on the good sane planet, you do receive a deathly spider bite while on vacation because you threatened one by being fearful, is it possible to say that you were the only creator of that reality? History is as much part of our reality as our thinking today, and we can never as human beings, unless we are born as adults, have complete control over the events of our history. </p>
<p>Oh, but then, how I digress! The issue was not about how reality comes to be, but about beliefs and how those beliefs make the person. The famous Bible quotation is, &lsquo;as a man thinks in his heart, so is he&rsquo;. Obviously, there is no correlation in that statement between the fear brewing within, and the eventual spider bite. It just assumes, I was thinking of a near death experience, and the deadly spider bite came because my vibration matched it. It does not, in any way mention that there is a <a href="http://socyberty.com/philosophy/the-law-of-least-resistance-and-help-to-remain-thankful/" target="_blank"><strong>Law of Least resistance</strong></a> at work. </p>
<p>Alas, I digress yet again, from what I initially set out to ponder. There has been a lot of talk lately about which Presidential candidate accepts the rights of those &lsquo;terrible&rsquo; people that are doing funny things to other people of their own gender in private, and which Presidential candidate does not. Mine is not about Presidential candidates either, for I have no knowledge of politics. Mine is to wonder&hellip; some years back pre-marital sex was a taboo. Such a taboo, that in some communities, it was not even discussed in jest, let alone as a serious family issue requiring well planned choices. </p>
<p>Yet, I have watched, in my lifetime no less, the issue of pre-marital sex move from a taboo, to a topic worthy of open discussion. Even in the most Christian of homes, who of course present as the trendsetters on morality and this is a morality issue they say, parents sit with their children now to &lsquo;guide&rsquo; them against this &lsquo;bad&rsquo; behavior. Yes! Pre-marital sex has moved, in my lifetime, which is way less than five decades, from a taboo to bad behavior. It figures, it never ever was a taboo at all, except we feared that it was. </p>
<p>Seated upon my speculation stool then, I wonder, is it not possible that the &lsquo;fear&rsquo; of this new gay/lesbian taboo, is more about our earliest fears, firmly planted in our minds of the potential of the wrath of God released upon the corporate body of humanity if we dared commit it? Is it not possible that our sudden interest in what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms, and that we now strongly feel should have legislation against, is more about &lsquo;me&rsquo; than about them? Is it not possible that an act, that has no life threatening implications on anyone whatsoever, other than of course to the extent that sex predisposes one to HIV/AIDS, is so frightening because we think we will die under the &lsquo;wrath of God&rsquo;? Is that not why we urgently need a head of state to discuss it? </p>
<p>I am not lesbian, and I am not in support of or against the gay/lesbian lifestyle. I have no business concerning myself with what consenting adults choose to do in the privacy of their bedrooms. They should have the freedom to choose! I hate caviar! I know people who love caviar! I&rsquo;m I running around needing a president to legislate against it? Let them drink what they like if the taste suits them! </p>
<p>I am however concerned that people are allowed to carry guns legally, guns that they use to kill. I am concerned that adults rape, molest, and destroy children, turning them over to realities in their history that scar them for life. I am concerned that we would rather waste time thinking about &lsquo;harmless&rsquo; personal habits, that health wise fall in the same category as drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes, than thinking about how to make our world safer and healthier for our children. In my view, it is selfish, depraved, and altogether immoral. It reaches to the highest possible levels of immorality! </p>
<p>Why aren&rsquo;t there more voices calling for more stringent rules against carrying fire arms? Why aren&rsquo;t there louder voices supporting incarceration for life of child molesters? Why is there such lackadaisical support of better health plans for the majority? Please tell me there is one Christian, one morality fundamentalist, just one who can see the stupidity of the pro/anti gay-lesbian rights talk, over other pertinent life threatening issues!</p>

But all that changes when he finds the death note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and how Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals begin dropping dead, the authorities send the legendary detective L to track down the killer. With L hot on his heels, will Light lose sight of his noble goal&hellip;or his life?&rdquo; (Tsugumi Ohba, <i>Death Note</i>).</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Upon reading the first sentence of the books description, I didn&rsquo;t really see the point in reading this book. My first thoughts were along the lines of &ldquo;Oh great, another book about a bunch of teenagers.&rdquo; I didn&rsquo;t like what I saw. Nevertheless, I decided to check it out and see what it was about, and I am glad I did. Having seen the anime episodes before, I was already a fan of Death Note. However, anime shows and manga books tend to be portrayed differently, and sometimes, have nothing to do with each other in the end. This, however, is not the case with Death Note.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; What happens when you pit an uncatchable genius with a strong sense of justice and the power to cause anyone to die at anytime by any means he wishes, against a detective whom nobody knows the real name of, who also has a strong sense of justice and who can catch anybody? The result: Death Note. This book is all about the mental battle between the uncatchable justice-seeker Light Yagami, and the detective who can catch anybody, the legendary &ldquo;L&rdquo;.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; With the Death Note, a person can kill anyone at anytime, assuming they know that persons name and face. Within these rules lies a severe problem for the main character, Light Yagami, &ldquo;L&rdquo;. Nobody knows anything about the legendary detective L, except that he has never failed at putting somebody behind bars, giving him the illusion of being able to solve any case, and catch any criminal. Naturally, this pits the two against each other as natural enemies, forcing each to participate in a constant game of cat and mouse.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On one side, there is Light Yagami. As &ldquo;Kira&rdquo;, Light Yagami is forced into a situation where he must eliminate L in order to continue his task of removing evil from the world, and creating a world of only good. On the other side, there is L. As the legendary detective, L&rsquo;s real name is unknown, even to the highest authorities. With this, L has the advantage of being anonymous. However, because of the Notebook, Light leaves behind no evidence of murder from using the book, giving him the advantage of having no proof to prove him as Kira. This is a very tricky situation indeed.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I would highly recommend this book to anybody who enjoys books that include the following: action, suspense, mystery, or anything related to police work. In saying that, I would advise against allowing younger readers to partake in this book. Reasons being, I do not believe introducing younger peoples to violence at a young age to be appropriate. I would recommend this to teenage or older readers.</p>

<p>I am writing to you with a problem that has gone on right under your very nose. I lived with my Fianc&eacute; and three children that I love very dearly. I am a veteran of this great country after 10 years of loyal service. I am appalled at the fact that the commonwealth of Virginia does not practice Due Diligence when it comes to the Virginia Employment Commission job website.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I applied to the Company of World Technology Corporation from the VEC website and was hired. I worked for this person for 3 months and have not received any pay. The one check he did send after explaining I have a family to provide for, bounced.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I have reported this company to the federal Bureau of Investigations, the IRS, The better Business bureau, the Senator D. Webb, and the Department of labor.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This company owes me from the time I clocked in till the time I clocked out I am owed a total salary of $6,257.00. I am not the only one from this state, and unfortunately I am not the only one in the entire United States.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The following pages will clearly show that the commonwealth of Virginia is guilty of not providing due diligence when it comes to ensuring legitimate companies are the only ones advertising jobs on their VEC website. Due to the fact that due diligence was not done it makes the commonwealth guilty through negligence and vicarious liability.</p>

I want compensation for returning to my family and the fact that this kind of racketeer should not have been able to list his job where a constituent is looking for work in a place that should be safe and secure from these kinds of individuals.</p>

<p>I previously worked for World Technology Corporation. Now they owe me $2270.00 and are refusing to pay me! I gave an 18 day notice to cover my 2 week notice and only worked with them for 65 days. After stating another job I still had access to my que with WWTS and saw that they had not replaced me with another tech, so I emailed them and they said they could use any help that I could offer so I worked 5 more days for them including a weekend so they would not lose the territory.</p>
<p>I emailed them the following Monday and let them know that I could no longer help as I had to much on my plate. Since I still had parts that I picked up and could not complete the orders for I emailed them requesting input as what to do with their packages. As I seldom had luck getting replies while I worked for them I gave them a deadline to respond before I returned the parts back to Dell. Everything seemed fine until payday came and no check came.</p>
<p>I contacted Alafia Young and was told that since there were so many parts that had not been returned yet, that I would not get my paycheck until they cleared. This was after the usual 3 week hold on paycheck to make sure parts were cleared in which the paycheck that it would have been for had already passed and cleared the usual hold. She then told me that since the parts would cost them more that my check was that they would have to hold it.</p>
<p>After another 5 days passed I was not getting responses to my emails or voicemails again so I contacted World Wide Tech Services and let them know that WTC was not paying me and that they were still using my que even though I was no longer with them. The que is where every day we get our work orders from to do the Dell repairs. You do not get a que until your background check and drug test has cleared. We me and another tech was hired, Charles Johnson and Alafia Young had us using a former employee&#8217;s from Texas que. Which I know Dell and WWTS will soon find out when I contact them on Tuesday after the Memorial Day break.</p>
<p>When WWTS sent Charles notification of the email I sent, he started what seems to be his usual behavior as I have seen on here. Charles called me on Wednesday to let me know that apparently the &#8220;board&#8221; has decided to make an example of me and have decided to file a &#8220;breach of contract&#8221; lawsuit against me in his usual $50,000.00 amount. It appears that this &#8220;board&#8221; is most likely composed of himself and Alafia Young as from a previous suspension of a tech fired with me was to have a conference call with this board and it never happened and his 2 week suspension was dropped after one day.</p>
<p>During this suspension I was told that I would be paid triple to cover since most of the calls had been placed into escalation and needed to be worked immediately. I worked over 16 hours on that day traveling 419 miles and when that paycheck came in I was told that Charles denied having said that he would pay me triple. Later he stated that they only get paid $42 a call and could not pay me the $105 (3 times $35) that he promised. Funny how a company can make $7 a call over what they call me and still stay in business. I luckily had a copy of the voicemail that he had left me on April 10th in which I sent to both Charles and Alafia and yet nothing was said or done about it.</p>
<p>I was also told on Wednesday that supposedly Alafia was on her way to UPS (funny when they use FedEx) to send out my payroll when she was notified of my email from WWTS. So Charles tells me that since I am claiming that I have not been paid for my work, that he will be submitting my paycheck as evidence in my breach of contract lawsuit. Funny how he can prove he has been paying me by not paying me? I have contacted a few lawyers as to my rights in this and they find that his &#8220;contract&#8221; that I breached is too vague and incomplete to be upheld in court. Here is what it states, &#8220;IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned has caused this Promissory Note to be duly executed as of the date first written below. I&rsquo;ve read and understand this 90 day probationary independent contract agreement! Also I agree to provide a 2 weeks&rsquo; notice if I separate from the company. Not providing a 2 weeks&rsquo; notice could cause a delay in your final paycheck&#8221;</p>
<p>I was also told that the Labor Board here in WV should deem me as an employee due to the restrictions the company has on my work even though they are claiming I am an independent contractor which in turn helps me out as it allows me 3x the amount as liquidated damages.</p>
<p>I gave Charles 1 last chance to send me my paycheck today and he replied, &#8220;Just landed, I still don&rsquo;t have any word for you, but you do what you have to. Have a good weekend. Please no more emails I have to let the attorneys deal with this, they will contact you.&#8221; These so called attorneys were supposed to contact me on Wednesday and still haven&#8217;t. Also when I asked for a last name and phone nu,ber to contact their attorney &#8220;Scott&#8221; I was not given anything. I will keep this updated as this evolves as I see this has happened to many others while he was under the company name of GTI Support.</p>
<p>If you check out HMJI.net you will see that this company (A Helen Marie Johnson Company&#8230; funny, same last name) had purchased GTI and then this year purchased WTC. Do you also smell something fishy? Also if you check the Better Business Bureau website, you will see that they claimed to be a BBB accredited business and on April 15th, 2010; were told to remove it as they are not.</p>
<p>Oh, I almost forgot. Until here recently, Charles always had a signature with a New York address (same as on www.WTCSupport.com) in which I mailed my 2 week notice to and it was returned to sender &#8211; check address on it. The website doamin is also registered to a Tad Amore with Charles&#8217; email address. I think this guy needs to have civil and criminal charges brought upon him!</p>

Because of the way he runs his business they fired him. They have no association with him any longer but you will notice he still uses them as a reference on his website on a certain page. <p>I was notified recently by another former employee who has also been cheated and is filing an IRS and FBI report on good ol&#8217; Charles Johnson.&nbsp; It seems after reading other posts that he has changed the company to http://www.tswsupport.com/ and it looks just like all the old ones.&nbsp; You would think that someone who is trying to hide and change business names would be a little smart enough to change his website design.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp; Anyways, the reason I am adding information is that Charles has added a nice little YouTube video for his new company under his old company name by mistake.&nbsp; It seems that he has added his voice and style to one of the videos.&nbsp; You can check out his channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/wtcsupport and if you try to leave a channel comment he is pretty quick at getting it removed so no one can see it.&nbsp; It could be pretty fun if we all would just post a link to this website throughout the day to keep his sorry butt busy removing them all day</p>

<p>I&#8217;m not going to go into my whole gory story I think enough of the people complaining here are enough evidence Johnson has issues with reality. When I was briefly employed with him, as a technician, his crew of management staff consisted of his &#8220;good&#8221; friend Alafia, an incompetent total flake, and his wife Debra, who managed calls and the like, who I believe was also suckered into his bull routine.&nbsp; He had a small list of other &#8220;employees&#8221; who facilitated his business but I feel they were conned and suckered into Johnson&#8217;s many promises and lies.</p>

<p>Johnson was contracted by QualX Serv who is in turn contracted with Dell (www.dell.com) who I believe is far removed from this fraudster and probably has no clues to his reputation.</p>

<p>Every single person who has complained about this flake and fraud is 100% on target. To the fool who quoted, &#8220;Take care of your business&#8221; one can only assume your a new employee in Johnson&#8217;s list of frauds and are &#8220;playing along&#8221; with whatever noise he&#8217;s offered as to what a poor guy he is and how he&#8217;s &#8220;just trying to help out&#8221;&nbsp;</p>

<p>When things go wrong, when the falling out begins?&nbsp; He&#8217;ll threaten to sue you (imagine that?) for perceived violations, but truth be told HE SHOULD BE SUED UNTIL HE&#8217;S OUT OF BUSINESS ONCE AND FOR ALL!&nbsp; He should be IN PRISON doing time for fraud, misrepresentation, failure to produce on contract, unfair business practices etc., etc.&nbsp; This is his usual practice btw, is to garner a new employee to play along being a tough guy for him against who ever is on his &#8220;list&#8221;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When I sued Johnson through the Labor Department, he told me to stop contacting him to contact his legal department at Legal@GTIsupport.com which of course was Johnson himself! What a delusional nut case, but just smart enough to keep these cons and frauds going.&nbsp; All his threats either on the phone or in emails were just layers of Johnson&#8217;s smoke screens to divert his cheating and lying back to all his drivers who worked for him. And we were called Johnson&#8217;s EMPLOYEES.</p>

This means that you do not get paid for the work that you perform. The biggest racketeer in the United States today, is Charles Adam Johnson. Charles Johnson&rsquo;s latest scams make people drive their own personal vehicles and go to businesses and peoples personal houses to fix dell computers under warranty.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The actual position is legitimate however Dell pays a certain amount per quarter and Charles Johnson keeps the money while you waste your time and money to keep the vehicle on the road to work.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The problem is that the crappy management this country has allows him to violate Federal law. The Federal Bureau of Investigations and the internal revenue Service is aware and has a full report. Actually I have been fighting this crime since I have been a victim. I swore not to allow this to happen to anyone again.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Federal Trade Commission is next on my list; these are the guys that can prevent Charles Adam Johnson from ever being in Business in the United States ever again. Please help me write to the Federal trade Commission write and tell them we need stricter laws against businesses to prevent the good people from being victims of racketeers like these.</p>

If everyone is earning, then everyone is spending. If everyone is spending, then the currency is circulating. &nbsp;If the currency is circulating, then our economy is flourishing.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Okay first of all let me state that I am not in anyway suggesting that the concerns and anger over this case are not important. Because they definitely are!</p>
<p>There is no room in this world for bigotry! PERIOD. Oh we all know it has been with us throughout man&#8217;s history and sadly will likely always be as long as we live the way we do. But it is inexcusable. However it is sadly more complicated than just racism and prejudicial actions in this case that should anger you.</p>
<p>Let me start with what I think should be obvious to all and yet does not appear to be. Regardless of the racial factors in this case the simple fact is George Zimmerman was wrong on a much clearer level.</p>
<p>This man is part of what is called a neighborhood or community watch. These groups in some areas are very organized and helpful. But there responsibilities are very clear. They are there to help understaffed law enforcement to be aware of suspicious activities. Especially in areas where crime is more rampant. But they are not law enforcement in any way, shape, or form.</p>
<p>So regardless of the motive Zimmerman had to be suspicious and worse yet approach this young man is irrelevant to the fact he had no business to do so in the manner he did. Oh it is not illegal or always wrong to approach a stranger and talk to them. But you never have an excuse to provoke them. NEVER!</p>
<p>What makes this a BILLION times more obvious is that we have public record and proof that the 911 dispatcher tells him TO STOP FOLLOWING THE PERSON IN QUESTION!</p>
<p>Yes! That is the point. He claims Trayvon was suspicious and that bleep holes are always getting away. Whether that means black people, young people, people in hoodies, or whatever doesn&#8217;t matter. He made a judgement right or wrong that this kid was suspicious and he made the call to 911. There is nothing else he should have done or considered doing.</p>
<p>Unless someone is being attacked or about to suffer from harm you have no business interjecting yourself into a situation. Why can&#8217;t we all get this? Why is this not the main point of discussion of where Zimmerman went wrong?</p>
<p>The fact that he was carrying a weapon makes it a BILLION times worse. Look you legally can carry a weapon if you have done all the law requires and I respect that. But you should not be stupid enough to voluntarily enter a possible confrontation with a gun. At that point you are part of the problem.</p>
<p>Look if you give someone an attitude in any circumstances you risk the chance of altercation. Having a weapon only amplifies that risk. None of this should need to be explained to anyone. And yet the media and general conversation is not pointing to this as the obvious reason for this tragedy? Because it is!</p>
<p>Now again there is no argument that we can analyze the disgusting racial motives here. However AGAIN, I think we are glossing over another huge enormous problem with society.</p>
<p>This type of heinous behavior is happening all the time. And while the general public had to kick and scream for a month to get action we should be happy about that. The question is why are we not kicking and screaming everyday about the injustices happening everyday?</p>
<p>Yes why is Reverand Al Sharpton not present at injustices everyday every where? And while he does appear at many it is not even close to enough! And he should be saying that publicly.</p>
<p>And I have never seen the Rev at a case where a White, Asian, Indian, or Latino person was a victim of racial injustice! Why? Dr. Martin Luther King spoke of all civil rights. Not just the suffering of African- Americans.</p>
<p>And why doesn&#8217;t the public insist that gang violence stop immediately? WE know what these people are doing. Why isn&#8217;t Al Sharpton talking to them everyday? After all there are innocent Black people being brutalized every day at the hands of gang members who clearly have agenda&#8217;s. And often times it is racially motivated!</p>
<p>And where is the media in all this? I&#8217;ll make my point using another case. During the Casey Anthony trial the media and the public were so sad and angry and yet there are a number of unsolved murders of children where it appears the mother or father may be guilty and you don&#8217;t hear one peep from the media or public outcry!</p>
<p>The fact is if these people protesting for Trayvon and the media writing about it truly cared about racial crime and injustice in general we would be listing all the cases that are being mishandled! We would use our resources and platforms to influence the authorities to be more thorough about all crimes!</p>
<p>In my opinion all you people are hypocrites! Trayvon Martin had his life taken out of the pompous arrogance of a reckless fool. He also was a victim of deep seeded racism. He was also a victim of injustice and lazy police work. Or maybe police have far too much work and not enough personnel. But we know this has happened too many times before and is happening with &#8220;Trayvon&#8217;s&#8221; all over the country!</p>
<p>The worst part is what I am saying will be laughed at because most people don&#8217;t want to address the root problems they just want the flashy emotional parts.</p>
<p>This is why NOTHING will change and every day somewhere a &#8220;Trayvon&#8221; will be a victim!</p>
