It is not unusual to see and hear problems of friends and relatives ranging from financial, relationship, work related, etc...There must be something more to life than being a journey of many sufferings and miniscule pleasures. The key is to know the secrets of the laws of the universe and use it to have peace, joy, harmony, abundance and the likes.

It is no secret that suffering is incessantly visible and palpable all around us, regardless of age, creed, nationality, class, or religious denomination. There is always strife in the world, and sickness, poverty, loneliness, grief, crime, and death are always just around the corner. Is there a way out of this miserable existence, this valley of tears that constantly haunts humans who live on earth?

Suffering has touched everyone whatever his or her status in life. Even the super rich are not spared from suffering, for even if they have immense wealth, they sometimes cannot buy health or harmonious relationships. Wealthy people more often than not have children who lead disastrous lives filled with drugs, crime and overall misery.

Most of the population have a constant problem with financial matters, and poverty is a perennial dilemma that has never been solved by conventional means. There are also other forms of suffering. Suitors get rejected by the subject of their affections; students suffer from the hardship of study; wives in the home and husbands at work are confronted daily by the vicissitudes of the battles they face on many fronts. It is not hard to see that life is basically a struggle. It has even been quoted many times in many ways that life is a mountain, not a beach.

And at the end, death claims all. Every effort that has been expended, every triumph and defeat, every success and failure, ultimately ends without meaning upon the annihilation of life. There is a seeming senselessness in it all.

Is this all there is to life?

There must be something more to life than being a journey of many sufferings and miniscule pleasures. There must be a reason for existence that is based on intrinsic goodness and happiness. Surely, God did not intend life to be a series of trials with only few rewards.

Deep inside, we know we are meant to be HAPPY.

The key, as some mystics constantly tell us, is to know the secrets of the Self and the secret of existence. Just as natural and human laws govern mundane life, so do Universal Laws govern the higher life and higher human existence. How does one know these laws, apply them, and succeed in this game called Life?

There are many primary laws as well as corollary laws. We will state these laws briefly below.

The Law of Oneness

The Law of Vibration

The Law of Cause and Effect

(or The Law of Karma or Compensation)

The Law of Giving

The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attunement

The Law of Energy Accumulation

The Law of Oneness states that all matter and energy is composed of one essential stuff, and therefore All is One, and everything affects everything else. This corresponds also to the Law of Vibration, which states that every particle of matter and energy vibrates at a certain rate and affects everything it comes in contact with. This leads to the Law of Cause and Effect, which states that every action, emotion and thought has a corresponding effect of the same nature.

This in turn justifies the Law of Giving, which states that the more you give, the more you produce an effect of abundance. How does this happen? As you give more, even as it hurts, you declare to the universe your faith that it will provide you with the means to give more to your fellowmen. This therefore initiates the forces by which you receive more. It is in tune with the Law of Attraction, wherein the vibrations of one’s thoughts, feelings and actions attract their corresponding vibrations. Good thoughts, emotions and actions naturally attract to themselves the same things.

And here is where the higher teachings of the Law of Attunement and Energy Accumulation come in. If we want abundance, we should radiate abundance everyday in our thoughts, emotions and actions. The same is true with the attributes of Health, Peace, Joy, Harmony, Light, Life, and Love. We should radiate these positive emotions daily, and as you do so, so you shall receive them a hundredfold.

There are many other Universal Laws and their corollary and secondary laws. We shall explore them one by one as we go along our journey.

Our lives are governed by social rules, set down by governments, tradition, religion and family. What is right and wrong can differ greatly from place to place, even in the same country. Proper manners and polite conversation can vary widely between a place like Paris, Texas and New York, New York. There is, however, a constant in all of these various rules and laws that govern the many peoples of this planet. Don't be a jerk. Lets look at the Golden Rule and Karma.

The ‘Golden Rule’ comes from the old testament and actually predates Christianity. Similar ideas were put forth in Hebrew texts and it might even be older than that. Basically it says, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Don’t do something to someone that you wouldn’t like very much if you were on the receiving end. Pretty basic and can be boiled down to ‘Don’t be a jerk.’

Now Karma takes that one step further. Karma, as described in Eastern and Indian religions and philosophies, says that everything is connected. Your actions have consequences, even if you don’t see them. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, because what you do will be brought back to you-good or bad. What you do is going to come back and bite you in the butt. It may not be the same thing that you did, but good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people, either now or later. You throw reincarnation in their and things really get wiggy. If you aren’t a good person in this life, your next one is going to suck. Pay now or pay later, sort of thing. Or, ‘Don’t be a jerk’.

Pretty much every law or rule ever set down can be made to fit the ‘Don’t be a jerk’ rule in some way. Don’t spit on the sidewalk-that’s gross, unsanitary and it upsets others. Don’t be a jerk. Don’t use torture to get information-it doesn’t work anyway, makes people justifiably angry and you really wouldn’t like it if you were tortured. Don’t be a jerk. Chew with your mouth closed-no one wants to see that, you spit food out when you do it which is unsanitary and it grosses everybody else out. Don’t be a jerk. Pretty much applicable to everything.

So, next time you are trying to figure out whether or not you should take a certain action or not, just say to yourself, “Am I being a jerk?”

Forgiving someone releases the karma between you, because it allows a reconnection of love to be made between you. Consciousness allows karma to be learnt from, and so the lessons of Love's truths are finally understood.

What could forgiveness have to do with karma, or with the releasing of karmic bonds?

Forgiveness is an act of love, and essentially it is only love that can release you from your karmic bonds. Love is the energy that breaks such bonds, that conversely are put into place in the first place, and then they can be also negatively strengthened, by a lack of understanding into love, and into the truths of that same love, as they are trying to be displayed for you within your life, by your soul, working together with God.

When you have an experience with love, as all experiences always are, and if you do not then fully accept this love, and so allow your self to grow and to understand it from a higher consciousness perspective, even as you grow this awareness and consciousness within and around yourself, you will create karma. Karma is always the end result here because the truth is that karma is only not being made where love is being allowed to fully function as itself, or to exist only as itself. When you ignore either partially or entirely these lessons from love, you create karma, which can only then be released by relearning the missed lesson properly, and this always involves forgiveness.

Forgiveness allows for a reciprocal reflected view of love to be re-established within each party to that forgiveness. Both parties can again see the love that is within each other. Forgiveness removes the artificially constructed barriers that have been put in place, and which are blocking in some way the full transmission, or receiving of this love.

“Anger is like a thorn in the heart.”

This is an old Yiddish proverb that I could easily alter slightly for the purposes of this article. Here is my new version.

” Karma is like a thorn in the heart, that only forgiveness can remove.”

How is this true, and how is karma like a thorn?

Karma is like a thorn on a rose bush where the rose is love, and karma is the thorn. Karma is a part of the bush that pricks you only when you look for the thorns, and ignore the roses. When we look at the thorns first and ignore the love, we create karma, as we will then also send the thorns to another person, rather than the scent of the rose, or in other words, sending and interacting with them, only with love, and from love.

All of this means that karma is also an essential part of life, or of the rose bush, but that when the wood is not being seen for the trees, you will receive a splinter precisely because you have stopped seeing the bigger picture view of what is. The splinter, or the thorn simply prods you awake again, and so this then gives you yet another chance to look at the whole scenario all linked together with love again, and so seeing it all as it always really all is.

All is always, always love.

Love exists at the beginning, and also at the end. Karma and forgiveness are what makes sure that love is always also fully present at the end.

In the beginning, love exists unconsciously present with its truths within our hearts.

The spiritual journey takes us along a spiritual path always being led by this love. We are attracted to love, and the journey simply brings us to conscious knowing of what was previously only unconscious knowing. The unreal becomes real for us, because we have created the consciousness mirror to reflect it back to ourselves within, and so we can at last understand, appreciate and accept Love’s truths as being all real. They are real then both for ourselves, and for all other souls as well.

Consciousness is essentially an energy field that is created around love when it flows from its source, or God to us, and when we allow it, that love, to then have its own way with us, within us, or to flow uninterruptedly through us. This consciousness field never existed until God created the infinite souls within himself, giving them a seemingly freely separated form of independent existence, but really while they were all still, all still being always all still contained within his own oneness.

The paradox is that when we give up this attachment to freedom, we immediately rejoin ourselves to God, and so we can then function as God, as the real part of his oneness that we really all are. Consciousness could be compared then to being like a magnetic field that arises around moving electricity moving through a wire. We are like that wire, and when we do not resist the flow of God’s love, the field of consciousness is allowed to grow much stronger, both within and around us.

Consciousness though is really just a shadow, or a mirror as I have called it here. Consciousness needs a vehicle to manifest itself around. The consciousness of being conscious then creates awareness within this vehicle. God exists beyond even this consciousness. Our consciousness becomes an opening in us for God’s light to shine through to us, and so we become aware of him within ourselves then, consciously as well.

This state beyond consciousness is not really totally all unconscious either like we ourselves are at the beginning. God exists in which some others have called a state of super consciousness. It is a state of pure awareness. Consciousness causes us to appear to ourselves, but God’s reality is only real to himself, and so that is why we must give up hanging onto our own false selves to fully know him as well. Consciousness happens to you, and so essentially it too is not the real you.

God is totally aware love trying to display its truths through us.

We can see the shadow of God’s light as it shines on us through the imaging focus of this consciousness. When we fully rejoin God, now fully consciously knowing our own true position within God, we can then even drop this consciousness once more again, as we again become God within God, but this time consciously knowing what part it is that we are playing. Consciousness will have served its purpose. It has sparked our own part of God into a greater light that shines forth with its own truths in its own way. This allows God to be seen within differing ways by every part, and so God’s oneness is then infinitely known by both himself, and by all of his infinite parts, at one and the same time.

Gods parts also begin to function super consciously then, and all of God is aware of itself.

The parts have been activated into consciously playing their own part, and so God now functions fully knowingly in all parts of himself, both as a oneness, and as a holograthically infinite collection of himself, all functioning consciously independently now as this oneness also. The one in the many has become also the many in the one. The paradox of God is resolved.

Karma will not be an issue at this stage, and nor will forgiveness. God and all parts of himself will all then be love, consciously loving all of itself knowingly, all at the same time.

When we allow love its own way within us, no karma is created, but when we try to divert love to satisfy our own ego’s purposes, we create karma that must be then released again by forgiveness, either of ourselves, or of the other party to that act of non love.

Forgiveness releases us from the bonds of karma in this way. When we are released from all karma we become God again. God always was, and is God, we are just being given a chance to see this from these lower worlds for ourselves. God sees himself within himself in this way.

Does oneness contain truth? What is this truth? How does consciousness connect to truth, and to oneness? Is consciousness separate to oneness?

Is God conscious of himself? What is consciousness?

This article will address the answer to some of these questions.

How can anything that is seemingly separated, and with an independently free existence, live this illusionary life as itself within oneness? What gives it this sense of isolating separation from its position within oneness? Is it our consciousness that achieves or creates this paradoxical, seemingly separated free existence for us, because how can anything ever really ever be separated away from oneness?

Truth is not a condition that splits itself apart for anything into lesser versions of itself. Truth remains itself, intact as itself, at all times. On the other hand though, consciousness can divide truth to see where it is functioning as itself from love’s energy, and where it is being hidden from fully operating as itself, from its operating from a level of less than perfect love, as it is working through you, because you are manifesting a leakage of this love, through holding onto its image, rather than its substance. In other words, you have unresolved karma still needing to be resolved. Karma is only an unconscious fear of love, and of allowing its full power to operate within you, and for you.

Holding onto any false idea of love creates a fear of it. Only the real thing carries no fear, and you must live from this love knowingly from your heart, and not from any form of manufactured fear in your mind, created from your following your own ideas of what love is all about for you. When we hold onto our own ideas in this way, we are really just holding onto our own ignorance, or unconscious fears.

The law of attraction claims that we can attract things of like vibration to ourselves. If there is only oneness, this too must be only really just an illusion. We are not separate from oneness or from God, or from anything else.

Only if we were really separate could we ever attract anything to ourselves.

What is this power of attraction then, and does it in fact really exist?

The common idea about the law of attraction is flawed in that you only attract, what you can attract.

You cannot consciously attract anything to yourself at all. This means that you cannot attract anything else, because you have all things already. All knowledge, and every truth, and everything within God’s oneness is available to you, and to every other part of God’s oneness right now, as well. Nothing is ever missing that needs to be outwardly attracted, except for those extra experiences that will help you to resolve your karma.

Karma is associated with misunderstanding love, or of not yet consciously understanding your role in that love. At the start of our spiritual journey, we are consciously empty, but we know everything unconsciously. The journey is about growing the consciousness to understand love, and its truths as they live within us. As much as we love, we continue to grow our consciousness. There is a direct relationship here, between love and consciousness.

Consciousness could not previously exist within oneness, until this oneness created separate instances of itself to love. Consciousness existed in potential only.

This happened with the creation of the infinite parts, or of the souls within oneness, by God. God and oneness, are the same, but oneness split itself into infinite parts in which it was now possible for consciousness to grow itself within. God created vessels for consciousness.

When love flows between God and his parts, or between one part and another part, consciousness is created then as an added on consciousness field, that is surrounding that love. This happens in a similar way as to how a magnetic field is created around electricity moving through a wire. When we allow love to flow through ourselves uninterruptedly, without trying to divert it in any way, for our own means or purposes, or by blocking it in any way at all, the full field of consciousness can grow at its maximum rate, until it is finally operating at its maximum efficiency around us, and in us, and for us.

This is reaching what is known as God consciousness.

We cannot attract anything consciously to ourselves, because if we try to, we are really still just following an unconscious drive, belief, or programming, or in other words, living still from some of our existing karma, that still needs to be fully faced, learnt from, and moved on from. Anything that we want of ourselves, or have any desire for at all, is always karma, or a part of our karma, and so really at this stage of our journey, we are still just being driven, or controlled unconsciously by our own karma.

What you do attract to yourself then are the experiences that you need, because you are attracting love in such a way that it forms these experiences for you, and the way it forms experiences is by your karmic load attracting what it requires right now that still needs to resolved in your life.

You are always drawing lessons to yourself, in order to give you chance after chance to try to consciously learn from these lessons. This is all done in this way to help you to gain a better understanding of the role of love within each experience. It is also done in this way in order to help you to recognise the truth’s of love within that experience, and how love is always totally responsible for creating every life experience for you, that you will ever go through.

The unconscious karmic load that you carry, that is still needing to be resolved, faced, and learnt from, is what forms your life as it is, and it also explains why your life is as it is. This all gives you continuing opportunities to consciously grow the awareness to learn the wisdom that it is possible to consciously acquire from finally resolving these karmic debts.

In other words, your unconsciousness attracts what is still missing from its consciousness. It is not the other way around, consciousness does not attract, it only observes. And yet the real truth is that it doesn’t even just observe, consciousness is but a mirror for God to be able to see himself within.

The perfect mirror will be available to God, when we all raise our consciousness to the level of God consciousness, which just represents a perfect image of God. What was unobservable before becomes observable both to God, and to each one of his infinite parts.

In this way, we all know God together.

How you behave can have an effect on your life.

I was brought up to understand that you should treat others as you would be treated. It’s a very simple concept. If you go around beating up people, you make enemies, and eventually, one of them is going to come after you. So, in order to play it safe, be nice and try to get along. But that doesn’t always work because with so many people on the planet, that no matter how nice you treat people, you’re bound to run into some character that’s looking for trouble. It’s just that you stand a better chance of surviving this life without getting stabbed or shot if you just act nice.

If you act badly, push people around, cause pain and suffering, eventually it’s going to catch up with you, and you’ll wind up dead or in prison. I think that’s called Karma. But what about fate? Maybe it’s fate that some people are just bad news and it’s their fate to wind up suffering the consequences of their behavior. I heard that there’s a big book up in heaven that has your fate written in it. What you’ll make of yourself, who you’ll marry, how many kids you’ll have, and how you’ll die. It’s all written down. Somebody planned everything that’s going to happen to you. It’s been said.

Yet, if you’re due to become a total creep, and you know that this can’t end well, can’t you just change things? But if you can do that, then maybe it was fate that you first become a down low, cowardly, sneaky creep and you suddenly transform yourself into Mr. Wonderful and in the end, the pearly gates will open for you.

But I think that it’s really the law of consequences. I think there are both good and bad consequences. In the end, it’s the afterlife that’s important. Everything you do has consequences. And the things you do are both external and internal. The external are the things that people can be a witness to, or there is evidence of. And they can be both good or bad such as committing a crime, or helping the poor and homeless. People see these things and react to it.

But there is the internal. You can act outwardly good. Go to church. Donate to charities. Volunteer and so on. But inwardly you may have bad thoughts. Hatred, avarice, jealousy, and so on. I really believe that you must act good outwardly as well as inwardly. Inward thoughts will become outward actions eventually, but even if they never do, at least you are aware that you are not the person that other people see. God knows the true you even if no one else does.

Priests are generally supposed to be seen as good people. We call them Father. We can go to them with our problems. Outwardly they are good but if inwardly they have unclean thoughts, it can cause problems. I’ve seen a hidden camera sequence on a Rabbi, who is supposed to be a pillar of the community, get caught while trying to meet with a teenager for a sexual encounter. I saw his reaction on getting caught. It was not pretty. Consequences. His Karma. Was it his fate? Was it written?

I think he could have avoided it.

Curse runs in the blood of those who became the president of Philippine Republic. Pardon my use of words. In the midst of viral news about the chaotic administration, I overheard an officemate saying “there’s a bad karma in being a president.” In silence I thought he was right. Let me explain why I think the Philippine presidents are doomed with fateful curse.

Image via Wikipedia

1. Emilio Aguinaldo. He is the image of the Philippine 5-peso bill. At 29, he became the first Philippine President during the Spanish period. He was the youngest to have become the country’s president and having survived to age 94, he was also the longest-lived president to date. He suffered several cardiovascular conditions medically called as Coronary Thrombosis, which lead to his death.

2. Manuel L. Quezon. He is the image of the Philippine 20-peso bill. He also appeared on two commemorative one peso coins alongside with Frank Murphy and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He spent his last years in Saranac Lake in New York. He died from tuberculosis.

Image via Wikipedia

3. José P. Laurel. He is the third president of the Philippines. After his presidency, he spent time to develop the school Lyceum of the Philippines his family established. In 1959, he died from a massive heart attack and a stroke.

4. Sergio Osmeña. He was the first Visayan and the oldest to become the Philippine President. He died of both liver failure and breast cancer at the age of 83 in 1961.

5. Manuel Roxas. He became the president after granting independence in 1946. He died of myocardial infarction commonly known as heart attack in 1948. His term, which is the shortest in the Philippine president history, only lasted for 1 year 10 months and 18 days.

6. Elpidio Quirino. No matter how much he tried to become a good president, he failed to win the people’s affection. Some factors could be the unpopularity of his administration and the widespread rumors of his involvement with fraud, graft and corruption and wasteful spending of money abroad. He died of a heart attack in 1956.

7. Ramon Magsaysay. He did not finish his term which was on December 30, 1957. He died in a plane crash. The airplane had crashed on Mt. Matunggal in Cebu where 36 out 56 passengers died including himself.

8. Carlos P. Carcia. During his post-presidency life, he was elected as the President of the 1971 Constitutional Convention. Just days after his election, he died from fatal heart attack.

To be continued…

He's divided the world, lovers and haters. Who cares, if you love him the support him, if you hate him don't. I'm not a blieber just a guy writing about my opinion on the whole thing. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, right?

Justin Bieber

I’m sure you’ve all heard of him, he’s the teenage pop star sensation, and the global teenage heartthrob. Yes, I am talking about Justin Bieber, and no, I shall not hate on him for this entire article. I am a 14-year-old boy, I am not a homosexual and I do have a good taste in music. So it would be stereotypically presumed to hate Justin Bieber. We’ll for all your brainless cowards out there, I don’t.

I would like to write about today of how millions around the world hate this 17-year-old boy. I believe it is for one reason, jealousy. Sure, Justin Bieber doesn’t have a great voice in a lot of people’s opinion including mine; he’s a bit of a pouf, he does stupid things and he try’s very hard to look cool.

We all know singers out there with terrible voices; we do not criticize them extensively like we do with Justin Bieber do we? We know celebrities such as the Jonas Brothers that are considered a bunch of pouf bags; we do not criticize them like we do with Justin Bieber. We all know TV stars like Charlie Sheen who have done stupid things, we do not criticize him for these things and some people even praise him for it. Miley Cyrus try’s to look cool and she is not criticized about this like Justin Bieber is.

What I’m trying to say here is that people hate Justin Bieber because they are jealous of Justin Bieber. He is the classic tale of a poor family rising to success and fame. So for all you working class haters sitting in your shacks chewing on the contents you found in your local rubbish bin for dinner I ask you to please, shut up. There is a one in a million chance that you will amazingly rise up from the dumps so quit fantasizing and be happy for someone who has risen up.

To further prove my point you are all jealous of him because he drives a Ferrari, has many girls who love him and is rich. You want what he has so you put him down for it. You are jealous little off cuts of chewing gum on the street sticking to the bottom of people’s shoes. It is only fair to say that you can hate him all you want, but only if you can beat him, only if you can be better than him. I’m sure the majority of you cannot, so keep your singing in the shower.

At the beginning of this article I mentioned how I didn’t hate Justin Bieber, yet I think he’s a poof, has bad singing and is always desperately trying to look cool. I do not hate him because he has achieved probably better than I ever will in my life, and I am happy for him. I cannot beat him and so I will not hate on him. So for all of you haters out there, have some maturity, stop hating on a 17 year old boy and get on with your lives.

If you are passionate about something so much then if you follow it you will be successful and if your lucky money may come too. But for now, all you haters can sit in the small shack you call home, eat you cities waste for dinner and feel sorry for your miserable lives, because if you intend to sit there criticize others the world around you will move on, you will be left behind and then you will find the aspect of Karma will take place. So then you will sit there and be criticized. You will become depressed. You will not be forgiven. You will be so isolated that you will won’t to die.

So take my advice, don’t hate on Justin Bieber.

This is a time of year where we all celebrate Christmas in some way shape or form. Although my pet's don't know it is Christmas they get to share in our cheer with all the left overs and bones with juicy meat attached. I have always shared gifts with family and friends but over the years as we have grown, Children would be the receivers of gifts where we would simply enjoy a lunch together.

The typical day would be all the family gathers, we would at the start bring something along and I would help my younger brother cook the lunch and prepare plates and silver along with refreshments. I would answer the door as visitors arrived including my other brothers and families. It is a jovial time as with most families. We also feel for friends whose situation has changed where the parents have passed on. In those situations and where plausible we invite them to join us. This is true of one male friend my Father called the fifth son before he parted this world.

The kissing bandit was another name he used for him as he chased females for those kisses. We would have great lunches with food a plenty with drinks both soft and alcohol although best to not drink too much if one was to drive a car. Coupled with responsibility with ferrying the family to safety. We would make a day of it after the huge lunch, we would lay about watching television and in this year a large screen as we bought our mother one last year. We would digest our food and of course have a dessert of which last year was a pavlova my favourite.

I often think about the charities I ascribe to from time to time. I should make a conscious effort to donate at Christmas time as well. I am committed to lost dogs organisation and do donate to animal welfare and children’s hospital. I have donated to different organisations as they appear but not feasible to donate to all of them. The shelters that care for our homeless or less unfortunate than ourselves deserve to be cared for as best our community can afford. Christmas giving needs to be recognized as a time of giving and sharing and showing love between each other. We are not in this world for a long time in the full scheme of things, if we can relate to each other in this way I am sure it will define us in our journey though life. Although I was baptized a Catholic, I have benefited from the Buddhist tradition and philosophy sending out good and positive thoughts will return to you in kind as in Karma for each action there is a reaction.
