Why did the story evolve this way? Now as we have outlined the history of origins of the “Round Table”, the question arises, why the addition of the “Round Table” was made, and whether it had to do with the political, social or structural situation at Wace’s lifetime? Maybe he had more information than Geoffrey had or – what seems less possible – he was a visionary.
