This lesson gives some descriptive ideas for writing stories. It tells ways in which students can use their imagination. Students can make up some things. It is a good pretend lesson and it will make students think.

1. Imagined experiences: Think about something that is strange or unusual.

For example, pretend you are an astronaut and you took a trip to the moon. Pretend you saw some people there. Describe them. Make them unique. Make them look quite different from the people on earth. Describe how they dress, talk. and what kind of homes they have. If you saw some animals, describe how they looked and acted. What kind of food did they eat?

2. You can make up an animal story. This can be fun to do. If you have a pet, you can give it a personality. You can make your pet act funny, play tricks on people, or wear clothes. Your pet can have a conversation with you. This can be a funny story. You can really use your imagination on this one. You can pretend you are writing a play. This can really warm up your imagination. Here is where you can have several animals relating to one another. It doesn’t have to be too long—-just long enough to make it funny.

3. Do you like to travel? Have you read stories about travel or have taken some interesting trips? You can describe some of the things that you have done on your vacations. You can make up some additional things to make it more exciting. This is a good time for you to go to the library and find some information on places that you would like to visit some day. Maybe you would like to write about a far off country such as China, Japan, Israel, etc. You don’t have to go to the library to find out about a country. You can go to your computer to get ideas about customs, places to visit, and a description of the country.

4. Do you have a hobby? Maybe you don’t want to make up something. Perhaps you would like to write something that is real, such as your favorite sports. Describe your hobby or your activities in sports. You may make it so interesting that others may want to have the same hobby as yours.

5. Do you like art? Describe what you did that made your work so artistic. You can even be more descriptive by giving an example of your art work

6. Before you start, you can make a list of things you think you would like to write about. It may surprise you when you see your list when you are finished with it.

.

If you see a person who ahs red eyes, he probably has sore eyes. If you get the chance to talk to him and he will say he does not ahve the sore eyes, he will most likely have stress during night time, or probably not?

Whatever it is, there may be a point when he is stress about his job, his assignment, and his night chores. Just like me, I have red eyes becasue I sleep late at night to check papers, edit thesis, and review lesson plans. I do not know how I ahve red eyes. But one thing for sure, I know I am stressed and I am depressed.

So what if I have red eyes? Is it a bibg issue? Who cares about me then. Oh, yes. You are right, the people who may think that I do something bad. Oh, whom I care most? The people? The people are just right there around us evaluating, criticizing, and ruining others’ lives. These people are nothing; they are actually nothing.

The most difficult areas of like a unique educator are making lesson plans.

The most significant rules in planning the Madeline hunter lesson plan template are:

· You may not deliver new and familiar information about the Madeline hunter lesson plan template for the entire period and learning session.

· Another 40% of the time period should consist of discussion, practice, activities to review the info, and so on.

· In order to start processing the material regarding Madeline hunter lesson plan template, if you are covering materials of the Madeline hunter lesson plan template they’ve seen before you are able to spend 70-75% upon content.

· Keep in mind that not every of Madeline hunter lesson plan template steps are going to be implemented each day.

· Suppose your learning timeframe is 50 minutes. Only 30 minutes could be spent on any new content about Madeline hunter lesson plan template.

· Tips include putting up an instant fill up in the entire blank quiz as well as have learners write down all the answers.

· Do not have more than five questions. If students skip a few of the questions you will know right away just what must be ret aught.

· Students may take the quiz independently or in pairs. You should like pairs since it gives students an opportunity to talk, plus they love to speak! If it is an idea, they must understand particular information.

· Students note down the three most important areas of the Madeline hunter lesson plan template concept, which you covered. This encourages note getting and you can get the concepts correct in their thoughts at this point plus not guess.

Follow to this procedure for second and third chunks of the Madeline hunter lesson plan template learning. It takes about forty-five minutes and you get five minutes left. With house cleaning and transition times contained, you are close to the finish of the period. In case there’s time remaining, ask some review questions. The Madeline hunter lesson plan template is a very easy lesson plan format. This way you’ll always have time period for processing.

In case the bike you're looking at doesn't have front suspension manitou fork you're probably looking at the hybrid, the touring bike and a road bike.
Generally, a coil manitou fork is ideal in case you have the tight budget and are after the all-round bike. They're your most reliable selection as well as are much easily serviced. They're easily adjusted as well as tuned. The most important downside is the excess weight they have because of the steel spring in the manitou fork. However this means they're usually made tougher. In case you want to perform DH racing, plenty of jumping or similar to throw your motorbike around then it is a manitou fork for you.

These days they’re getting more reliable as well as are a great option for the XC rider and someone who wants plenty of adjustability on the manitou fork.

· Bounce back is the speed where your manitou fork springs support once you push this down. It’s good in case your fork has the rebound adjuster although not essential. Additional advanced riders prefer to set their rebound however if you’re only an amateur biker you’ll be fine with any factory settings.

· It is an opposite of rebound as well as the speed on route down. You won’t get too many forks which let you adjust it so don’t be worried about this too much. So long as your manitou fork is set-up with your weight, you should not worry about compression.

Once searching mountain bike components, as well as in particular manitou fork, stick to the main brands like Fox, Manitou, Rock Shox, plus Marzocchi. They’ve much money for research as well as development plus build better plus more reliable forks.
In case you’re getting a new motorbike, the cost enhance due to new manitou fork. Moreover, it is generally difference in the wholesale price between the current forks and those you’re upgrading to. In case you play your credit cards right you may generally get them to set up for you totally free.

In case you upgrade your manitou fork per month or two down the track you’ll have to purchase the new manitou fork at retail cost (usually a few hundred dollars more) as well as you’ll usually need to spend to get them suited to your bike.

Consequently think hard regarding whether it is useful delaying the buy of your latest bike until you’ve saved sufficient money to manage to upgrade your parts once you buy your bike. It might save you countless dollars.

In case there’s time remaining, ask some review questions. The Madeline hunter lesson plan template is a very easy lesson plan format. This Madeline hunter lesson plan template gives the students an opportunity to talk as well as hopefully move a little. The information is strengthened three times during a period. Students have a much wonderful chance of remembering this Madeline hunter lesson plan template. Keep in mind, start with the highest numbers of minutes you may spend on content and next create your Madeline hunter lesson plan template lesson all around that. This way you’ll always have time period for processing.

I have been assigned to do a short lesson plan write-up on family values education for 14-year old students. I thought that it would take a long time for me to do so, since I have left teaching more than four years ago. But surprisingly, it was easy.

It was a 4-hour family values education workshop for 200-250 students. I have never done this before. I did some simple research and there were many lesson plabs pertaining to the topic on family values on the internet. I looked for activities that seem to be appropriate for them and incorporated into my lesson plan.

In order to clinch this project, the school set out guidelines on the objectives of the workshop and the skills the students need to learn. The list was extensive and it does not seem to be possible to teach everything in a 4-hour workshop. I finally manage to include most of the skills such as communication skills, time management, crisis management, and many more.

1) Discovery of the Self

- Find someone who… is a fun ice-breaker activity. Students get to learn more about their friends and about themselves.

- My Favourite T-shirt… analyses one’s personality and values. Students need to look into their personal identity and how their values and personality are reflected in their favourite t-shirt.

- Interview Me… helps students to identify their positive qualities

- My Scroll of Achievement acknowledges their personal achievements thus far.

2) Family Crest

- By designing a family crest, students learn family values and tradition through symbols they draw in the family crest.

3) Graffiti: Self-expression or vandalism?

- Through a discussion of graffiti, students make arguments for or against the topic. They may feel torn between the two, and need to find a peaceful resolution to the conflicting ideas.

4) Setting Life Goals

- Students learn to create their own timeline of goals, identifying what they would like to achieve by a certain age.

- They will also anticipate potential problems that may hinder then from achieving their goals and seek a solution to their problems.

All in all, students learn the importance of personal and family values in the achievement of life goals.

Teaching on line, whether to develop teaching plans or not on line, whether to teach on line.

I don’t think the question should be about the development of teaching plans on line, I think about how it can be done and with a formula that would allow me the freedom of creating modules that I could reuse or spend a minimum amount of time for the maximum amount of benefit. Like anything economic or not, it means having to understand the market out there. If risks have to be taken they should now when the market is at its ebband people would welcome changes.

There are outlines and course plans that could be done and I wonder what the market is for that out there. I can see that someone is willing to pay let me ten dollars for a story that I would have to read, digest and write up questions for as part of a literary study. Would this be worth the time and effort? Especially if it is a book that you as a student do not particularly like?Wonder what happened to all those classics that I know all to well for which it would be easy as pie to work up a question list.

So if a teacher is willing to post a lesson plan on a site that receives contibutions from teachers and offers no remuneration than one has contributed to the welfare of the webmaster and not yourself. Some people like to offer themselves as slave laborers willing to contribute their ideas for next to nothing. In this case their may be some advertisement offered by the website inexcahnge for the material but the site may not offer tutoring;in other words it is just a reference site.

If the teacher wants something more interactive he has to approach those sites where there is a flow of students looking for tutors who will instruct them on given problems. It helps to a whiteboard or a forum where the student can write his problemand get prompt feedback. If its languages, it helps if the student could see a flash video of the instructor either recorded or in real time. Again there is the investment behind the computer to see that your hardware can handle the streaming and that you are not working for a bare minimum for some obscure foreign employer you will never meet.

Writing a lesson plan is a lot easier than most beginning teachers think.

I’m going to tell you the “official” way that we are taught. In reality, a lesson plan is just an outline of what you’re going to cover, why you’re covering it, how you’re going to cover it, and how you’re going to know they learned it.

First, it’s yours so on the top you put your name, subject (in case you are teaching multiple different types of classes, and you don’t want to get confused), and the date you’re teaching it. Example: Smithj…….English 3……Sep 6, 2013

Second…List out what specific standards this lesson is going to cover. For school, they have specific names and benchmark standards like LAE 37, etc. This will explain why you’re teaching this specific item and how it directly links to whatever standards you’re being held to.

Third – Purpose – Why are you teaching what you’re teaching? What are they suppose to learn? Usually starts with SWBAT (Students Will Be Able To) Example: SWBAT conjugate the verb “to be”.

Fourth – The plan you’re going to go through to teach them “how” to be able to do what you said you were going to teach them. This can be as in depth or as brief as you are comfortable with. You can add diagrams, pictures, handouts, etc. It’s completely up to you as to how much is in your head compared to how much you want written down. The entire lesson, from beginning to end is outlined and laidout so that anyone walking by could tell what is going on. If the person who is going to be reading this wants to see everything, then list out everything.

Example:

1) I will explain what the verb “to be” is.

- It is not “to be”, it is just called that.

- Be is also seen as being, or a state of being that you are in.

- The many ways of being that you are is: I am, you are, they are, we all are, he/she is.

- I will then make a chart showing how each one looks:

Noun Verb “to be”

I am

You are

They are

She is

So “am”, “are”, and “is” are forms of the verb “to be”.

Fifth – Work. This is not a real section, but it should be at the end of the lesson somewhere. You have to let the students try it, so they aren’t completely lost as to what to do. It’s kind of like math, where you understand everything when it’s being told to you – then you try it and you have no idea what the fuck is going on. So, let the student do something before you assess them.

EX:

I will now ask all students to take out their white board.

I will write a sentence on the baord with the verb “to be” missing and they will have to give me the right answer on their white boards.

Sixth – Assessment – This can be a question, a quiz, a test, etc that will demonstrate that the student has actually learned this. Depending on how anal you really want to be, depends on how much you want to be pout in this. You can create the assessment (formal assessment) or you can just ask questions to various people (informal assessment).

This is how you write a lesson plan. Remember, this is a plan for you to teach. The best lesson plans are the ones that work best for you.

Character Point of View and Conflict Resolution in Ordinary People

April 15, 2011

Standards:

Wisconsin Model Academic Standard A: Reading and Literature

· Content Standard: Students in Wisconsin will read and respond to a wide range of writing to build an understanding of written materials, of themselves, and of others

· Performance Standards:

o Use effective reading strategies to achieve their purpose in reading

o Read, interpret, and critically analyze literature

Objectives:

Students will distinguish the point of view of different characters regarding a conflict within a story.

Procedure:

Approximately 5-10 minutes

Students are divided into six groups. Each group has a character chart to fill in for the character that it is assigned. The characters are Beth, Conrad, and Calvin. The students are asked to look at some major conflicts in the book and how these three characters react and interact with each other as a result of these conflicts. The groups are divided as follows:

Going to London for Christmas: Beth’s viewpoint and reaction vs. Cal’s viewpoint and reaction.

Conrad Quitting the Swim Team: Conrad’s viewpoint and reaction vs. Beth’s viewpoint and reaction.

The Fight in the Parking Lot: Conrad’s viewpoint and reaction vs. Cal’s viewpoint and reaction.

Approximately 10-15 minutes

Students from each group then fill in a t-chart on the whiteboard of the characters’ reasoning and point of view for their actions regarding the conflicts. The groups are asked to explain each character’s reaction to the situation as well as the resolution that was reached. What do these conflicts and resolutions reveal about the characters? How do these resolutions affect the overall outcome of the story?

Phonics lesson plans are the basis on which you can be better prepared to help your child to start learning to read.

Phonics lesson plans are the basis on which you can be better prepared to help your child to start learning to read. You must be prepared to make the most of their time together and make the most of the attention span of your child.
A lesson plan should be created with the goal of teaching your child to the 44 sounds and 43 phonetic rules of English and how to apply them properly. The question is which curriculum will most effectively accomplish this task?

There are numerous websites available that provide you with lesson plans for phonics instruction, however, in this article we will discuss what to look for in a strong lesson plan. With a little planning, you can help teach your child to become an accomplished reader and confidence.

In assessing any lesson plan, there are several things to consider. Plan is the creative, interactive and support the efforts of the early reader? Does the lesson plan using a variety of methods, such as textual, visual, audio, etc, to teach the concepts of phonics? Are there many opportunities in the lesson your child to learn, practice, play and repeat what they have learned? It is through hearing and seeing the concepts of reading in a variety of ways that your child will conceptualize and then use their newly knowledge. When our children were early readers, we used a curriculum in which we created custom brochures together. After selecting the card to be studying for a week, cut the paper chart brightly colored cards. Then we did a little pamphlet on the choice of several sheets of standard card size and stapled together in the upper left corner. On the first page, we hit the letter of the week. Throughout the week, we looked through old magazines and selected images of the items that started with the same letter and sound as our letter of the week. Then paste the pictures to the blank pages of our book and print under the photo .. This enabled us to strengthen the recognition of the letter and the sound of the letter. At the end of the week, often had to add extra pages because the kids were so fun to find those pictures that matched the letter of the week. The book proved so valuable and became dog-eared all use.

The teaching of phonics to your child only has a commitment of time and a little creativity. The search for phonics lessons plans will take time, yes, but believe me when you hear your child to put sounds together and then start reading you’ll realize that it was time well spent.
