This is my look on the social media of today.

Social Media benefits and problems

When it comes to the social media there are some really great things and then there are some really bad things. As a person who is always on Twitter and Facebook watching my favorite celebrities I see how good and bad things happen to them and us. Recently country artist Eric Church got grief for putting his foot in his mouth over some comments that he made about how hard it is to become a famous country star. The country artist who didn’t like it were quick to jump and make comments instead of letting Eric explain what he meant by his comments.
People who are like me that found country artist like Eric Church are grateful for chances to go to concerts and see who is still coming up in the world of music. I went with my best friend several years ago to see Eric in concert at 8 Second Salon in Indianapolis and have loved him since seeing the concert. I am proud that I saw him in concert and try to brag about the experience of seeing an artist like him in concert. The concert was at a small venue and I felt close enough to see him.
Now that the social media is more main stream then what it was then now if I go to another concert I will be tweeting about him and the experience to show how much I have enjoyed his shows in the past and would love to see him again.
Other artists that I would love to hit the big main stream like Joey DeGraw, big brother to Gavin. I have seen Joey in concert and went home and have never forgotten the experience. For me and most people music is the opening to our hearts and I think that music gives meaning to things those experiences that we can’t forget.
Twitter and Facebook are what currently rule the world because that is how people communicate and that’s so important to our everyday lives now days. Because so many people and companies are online with social media there is no way not to know what’s going on with your favorite people. I see what my favorite places to eat are offering now and then. I can also keep up with those family members who are out of state.
One of my other favorite things with the social media is watching my local food trucks to know where they are going to be.
A problem with social media is when you make a comment and you can’t take it back before it hits the world media. It’s not just your friends or family on Facebook but when you make a comment on Twitter and the whole world sees it before it can be taken back.
To everyone just remember when you are online remember other people see you and if you say the wrong thing make sure you don’t hit “return” before realizing what you have said. You can find me on Twitter @jstroudpainter and on Facebook /jstroudpainter.

This is my analysis of the Republican Party's choice for President.

Summer is here. The US economy created only 69,000 jobs in May, which is not very good. The stock market is dropping. Oh, boy, we get to pay through the nose for gas because President Obama will not let his ban on drilling. Hey, why don’t we produce oil from all of the wells we have capped? I find it most interesting that in 2008 when we were paying over $4.00 a gallon for gas, the stock market was about where it is now. When the stock market dove down below 6800, our prices and interest rates dove too. Now that Wall Street is making tons of money, our prices are right back where they were in 2008. The President cannot help that because when Obama signed his Credit Reform Act in March 2009, the bank raised their interest rates, and started charging fees again. They did that before the law went into effect.

The Democrats have convinced most Americans that the answer is GOVERNMENT REGULATION, but the problem is that GOVERNMENT REGULATION IS EXPENSIVE and IT DOES NOT WORK. Our government is bigger now than it has ever been. The Labor Unions, especially SEIU have created a pension system that is unsustainable. Now, the Republicans are pushing Mitt Romney.

Let me tell you something. MITT ROMNEY IS JUST AS BAD IF NOT WORSE THAN PRESIDENT OBAMA!!! LOOK AT THIS: FORMER PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON IS PRAISING ROMNEY AS A “STERLING BUSINESS LEADER” ROMNEY CARE IS COSTING THE PEOPLE OF MASSACHUSETTS PLENTY! WHERE DO YOU THINK THAT PRESIDENT OBAMA GOT THE IDEA FOR OBAMA CARE FROM? YES, YOU GUESSED IT, MITT ROMNEY!

MITT ROMNEY is a PROGRESSIVE just like PRESIDENT OBAMA. If you are smart, you will write in Ron Paul on the ballot. Did you ever wonder why the Republicans did not push him more? He was against BIG GOVERNMENT.

This is just one man’s opinion, but I am an INDEPENDENT THINKER. See you at the polls.

The appellation “zombie apocalypse” has been lighting up the internet all anniversary and has been a allotment of thetop Google trends Friday morning.

On the Web’s Urban Dictionary , here’s analogue No. 4 of crank apocalypse: “The End of the World, if humans who accept died acceleration afresh in rotten corpses analytic for claret and accuracy tostrengthen them.” While we’re assertive the asleep are not rising, the accomplished anniversary has seensome of the a lot of advancing instances of animal behavior imaginable.

A man in Miami happens aloft a abandoned man on the sidewalk and chews off 75% of his face in an 18-minute advance . The attacker’s mother afterwards says her son is not a crank as portrayed in the media. Authorities in Canada accept launched a massive manhunt for a doubtable afterwards a burst duke was beatific to Canada’s Liberal Party, a bottom to the Conservatives and a anatomy wasblimp in a attache and tossed in the debris ofthe Montreal accommodation architecture areahe lived.

A Maryland man admits to killing his housemate , acid him up, afresh bistro his affection and allotment of his brain. A New Jersey man rips his anatomy accessible and throws$.25 of his belly at police, according to the Bergen Record . There accept been added appropriately abominable crimes, but there’s no charge to abide onthem.

Fact is, abhorrent crimes appear allthe time. “This is all annihilation new,” said Scott Talan, assistant of accessibleadvice at American University, with a continued plan history in accessible relations and the media.

Bad account attracts attention, hesaid, and if it happens in bunches, humans like to attach a name to it, hence, “zombie apocalypse.” People aswell like to see others inbigger agitation than they accept themselves, Talan said. “No amount how your life’s going, someone’s got it worse,” he said. We like to think, “I’m bigger off than these people,” he said. And that’s annihilation new, Talansaid, pointing out that age-old Roman philosophers acclimated to complaining that citizens acquainted little for the gladiatorsand what happened in their abominable contests. But he said while these belief boltblaze bound in our active world, they blaze out quickly, too. Unless there’s addition abominable abomination today, apprehend the crank apocalypse to be done by next week, he said. Even if that’s the case, there may be some acceptable that can appear of the absorption crank apocalypse has fatigued on the Web.

A year ago, if crank movies were the rage, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said if it could argue the publicto adapt for the crank apocalypse , maybe they’d be bigger able for disastersadded acceptable to affect their lives, like earthquakes, hurricanes and tornadoes, or a above pandemic. Or maybe the Mayan apocalypse.Talan credibility out that it isn’t real, it’s just a name like crank apocalypse. But afresh again, that isn’t declared to appear until December. There’s still time for that go viral again.

This is not a Rob Zombie Movie.

Zombie Apocalypse (video game) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Has the world gone mad? When I think of Zombies, I think of an undead creature hungry for human flesh. But in the movie sense, not in real life. All of the sudden I am hearing of a hunger for human flesh.

I couldn’t believe that a drug (possibly a new potent form of LSD) could cause you to be so insane as to eat a persons face for 18 minutes. As did Rudy Eugene, 31, who cops killed in the process of eating 75% of a man’s face off. Ronald Poppo, a homeless man, miraculously survived, but doctors now have to face the challenge of reconstructing his face back together somehow.

Luka Rocco Magnotta, a Canadian man is currently the focus of a manhunt. He sent a severed hand to Canada’s Liberal Party, a foot to the Conservatives and a torso was stuffed in a suitcase and tossed in the trash of the Montreal apartment building where he lived. He is labeled as a serial kitten-killer by animal rights activists and once dated a serial killer. A Facebook group started in December 2010 identified Magnotta by name on its page and are asking the public’s help in tracking him down for animal cruelty.

Alexander Kinyua, 21, was being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center after being charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault for killing his roommate. He is convicted of killing and chopping up 37 yr old Agyei-Kodie. He admitted he ate Agyei-Kodie’s heart and part of his brain. His head and hands were found in the basement by the victim’s brother.

Now is all this Zombie related or just plain Drug related?

Anger does have amazing energy behind it and it will change your life, but the results depend on the use. Use Wisely.

As you may already know, anger is the most simple emotion to fall back on. When things go wrong it’s easy to get mad. What I bet you didn’t know is that you can harness the madness and it’s energy. Everything in life is made up of energy, but anger releases a bit more energy than is necessary. So why don’t we harness that energy? Because this energy is potent and powerful and has the ability to destroy in the wrong use. If you can master this energy, you can do so many things. I have learned that changing your thoughts during a moment of anger, towards someone or something that always makes you feel happy, can dilute the anger. Even getting rid of the emotion of anger doesn’t just make the energy from it just disappear, take control of these energies and you can change your life for the better. Anger is an embarrassing emotion that can ruin your life and make you hate life. Our worst and most pathetic emotion has the most power behind it. Ever notice that we are prone to breaking things when we are angry, even things we can’t break when we’re in any other mood.

Well you can change your anger into something completely different, something that uses more brain power than muscle power. I bet you didn’t know that such energy existed behind anger. It’s impossibly addicting and very hard to control but the secret to complete control is this.

Meditation, but in a whole new way. When meditating the first thing you need to do in order to achieve a blank mind is a custom way that I use.

While trying to clear your mind, your mind itself fights back and forces more thoughts into your head, but you have the ultimate weapon. That weapon is imagination.

So imagine a white board that’s completely blank, you have the only marker. Nobody else can write on your board except you. Any thoughts can be pushed behind the board and to ensure that you stay clear minded, switch your marker for an eraser, so that you make no mistakes. Already my mind is clearing itself, even as I write this…..

Sorry I kinda had a moment there.

Anyways after achieving a blank mind just sit still and focus on a single thought that makes you angry, then as if that thought is a tiny, freezing child, cover it up with a blanket of warm and happy thoughts until it is cold no more. Do this over and over until you no longer have thoughts that make you angry, until even things that happen in life can be easily covered up with positive things.

Life is only as miserable as you allow others to make it, you are not alone, you do not have to venture down this road alone. There are many people out there who have tried and tried to get rid of their anger, with no results, but this is different, this is self-taught and self-learned. Results will appear, no matter what. Anger doesn’t control you, you control anger, and in your hands, the energy from anger can either create or destroy. You Choose.

Sometimes, all we need is faith.

When darkness turns upon us, and life seem full of disappointments. We wonder where we would go in life, what we should do, and what path to take. Being mentally at lost, stressed and unhappy settles into our mind and lives, disstracting us from our everyday life and routine.

But it gets worse, when we do not have faith. When we do not belief that anything good can come our way, then everything is impossible, and when impossible sets in, nothing seem to change anymore.

It does no harm to have faith once in awhile, and it doesn’t kill to belief that things could be better. When a person has faith, their mind is conscious of what could and might be. The mind will not drag a person’s day and night down, you’d wake up feeling a sense of meaning in life, and go to bed peacefully. If you have a religion, then pray to your God to help you get through what you are going through. Because although we are physically alone in to fight this world alone, with faith, God is always with us to get through everything.

If you do not have a religion or belief in a God, then just belief that life cannot possible stay bad forever, what goes down, must come up. And like a graph in a chart, up and down is the part and parcel of life. If you can’t see it that way, then perhaps pick a religion and start believing. Does it kill to belief that there is a God watching over us? And if you say if there is a God, then why is the world the way it is? Well, God has forsaken the world, for this is a sinful, cheating world, but he has not forsaken the people of the world who live in it. And if you intend to question the work of the Lord, and ask him to give you a better life, then understand this, “do not put God to the test”.

Either way, life go round in circles, and a bad trip even if it seems to last forever will eventually get better. Also look at the reflection of your life, and analyze if there is perhaps something you are doing wrong, or what could be happening to you may be karma biting you in the ass.

A description of the Split Timeline Theory in the Legend of Zelda Series.

Alright guys, so you probably have heard and seen a ton of Legend of Zelda theories and time lines, the most common is the Multiple Link, Single Ganon theory, also known as the Split Timeline. This is where each new generation has its own Hero of Time, Hero of Winds, whatever. But it is the same Ganon and Ganondorf through the whole series. The main thing that splits the time lines is the two divisions of the Ocarina of Time game where Link can either stay as a kid and live his life with Ganondorf sealed in the future and never taking over Hyrule in his lifetime, or he can stay as a child where Ganondorf is sealed in the Sacred Realm “Forever”. Of course if you take the Adult Link Part, Ganondorf escapes like always and that leads to the events of A Link to the Past,The Wind Waker and all of the Toon Link Games after that. If you take the child Link part you get the direct sequel of Majora’s Mask, and then the events of Twilight Princess. In a 2002 interview with Eiji Aonuma, and Shigeru Miyamoto they said that yes, Ocarina of Time had two different endings, one where he remains a child, and another if he escapes the Sacred Realm after what happens when he was an adult.

The Child Timeline: In Ocarina of Time, Link destroys Ganondorf into the future and he never gets a chance to take over Hyrule in Young Link’s lifetime, and then the events of Majora’s Mask happen. In Twilight Princess, they show the failed execution of Ganondorf which happens a few years after what happens in Ocarina of Time. He then has the Triforce Piece of Power shown on his hand. This means that none of the bosses or anything after the childhood of Young Link(getting the Master Sword, killing Phantom Ganon etc.) probably never happened. This means that the events of Wind Waker and the games that happen after never occur.

Adult timeline: Link pulls the Master Sword out of the pedestal and gets sealed in, and lets Ganondorf enter the Sacred Realm and get the Triforce of Power. After seven years, Link is released into Ganondorf’s version of Hyrule and then defeats Ganondorf and seals him into the Sacred Realm. This leaves Hyrule as a barren wasteland/crappy post nuclear bomb state and no Hero of Time, he is stuck in dimensions. But in this one Ganondorf escapes the Sacred Realm and the events of Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, and Four Swords Adventures occur(Hyrule being flooded etc.) Now these are just Fan Theories, and both of the timelines have strengths and weaknesses. Yep, it is extremely complicated and confusing. The timeline would look something like this:

Hope you learned something!

How a Thesaurus Can Make a Dumb Person Sound Smart!

I had the idea for this post swimming around in my head for a while and I wasn’t quite sure how to go about writing it. I was working on a few ideas and working on some college assignments when I the idea for this post first hit me.

I noticed how often I was utilizing a thesaurus, alongside with a dictionary, to write my papers and for a while it was quite a humbling experience to receive the feedback that I was getting from my instructors and/or professors. They kept telling me how scholarly my papers were coming out (and mind you I am only an under grad), but I could not understand the reason for their kind praise. To me my writing, was and is, still elementary.

I guess it is like some artists out there that are never happy with their work. We as writers are often times the same way.

But this couldn’t be it…then it just hit me…I wasn’t writing great intellectual pieces of art. All I was doing was utilizing a tool that is at everyone’s disposal. Even the dumbest person can sound smart!

When you learn how to conqueror using a dictionary and a thesaurus any writing can sound scholarly.

Usually when I am writing a paper based off research I use a thesaurus in-order to unscramble a word and find its synonym and/or antonym. When I am researching an article that I find online or off and I find a particular word or group of words that stand out to me I would then utilize Dictionary.com (a God Send if you ask me). Everyone can do this and make their writings sound more intelligent than what they really are.

Of course I am not saying that people are dumb (because in all honest no one is), but what I am saying is that all of us can sound smart if we use the tools that are right in front of us.

Give a try. If there is a word or group of words that are in this post that have pulled you in more than others, why don’t you go and take that word (or group of words) and copy and paste it into the search box on Dictionary.com and see what you come up with. Use both the dictionary and the thesaurus to see what other words are out there.

For example: Some may not have known this but the word “dumb” does not really mean uneducated as some of you may have thought. Of course the word “dumb” is used out of slang to mean uneducated, but the word really means unable to speak or mute. (Mute…now that’s another word that can get the gears in your head turning…)

Now that we know the true definition of dumb we can look at the thesaurus and see that the only antonym for dumb is to speak or speaking. This of course is just one word. Imagine what you can find if you used every word in this post. Go…Go ahead and give it a try!

IF done right a spanking will greatly improve a relationship. I have heard of couples getting ready for divorce but a spanking helped save the marriage. Use a slightly cupped hand and throw in some rubs. Do not keep hitting in the same area. Hit then rub and watch the area . If the area is real red then spank other cheek and rub You can make up games where the loser gets a spanking. When you are new to spanking only use bare hand unless you know how to use it without hurting the person.

Kathie Lee Gifford apologized to Martin Short on Twitter after rambling on about his marriage during an interview, not realizing his wife died almost two years ago. Not only did she screw up about his wife's death on Wednesday, May 31, she tweeted her apology to an account that does not belong to Short.

On the “Today” show on Wednesday, a completely clueless Gifford interviewed the 62-year-old actor on the “Today” show, asking how many years he has been in love with his wife, Nancy Dolman. Short was gracious and did not mention that his wife of 36 years died of ovarian cancer in 2010 . He told Gifford they were “madly in love, madly in love” and even joked that Dolman loved him because he is”cute.”

The interview continued with Gifford totally oblivious to the fact that Short’s wife was dead. She complimented him on his marriage, telling him that the couple “have one of the greatest marriages of anybody in show business.”

During a commercial break, someone must have clued Giffordin about the fact that Nancy Dolman died on August 21, 2010,leaving Short a single father to three children: Katherine, Oliver, and Henry.

Doing what all celeberities do when they screw up, Kathie Lee tweeted out her apology about the gaffe she made on national television. “I send my sincerest apologies to @ MartinShort and his family. He handled situation w/enormous grace and kindness and I’m so grateful.” She should have called him instead of using social media to apologize because her tweet was sent to an account that doesn’t belong to actor Martin Short. Instead, she “@” mentioned an account on Twitter that hasn’t had an update since 2009 and belongs to an unknown person.

This wasn’t the first time Gifford didn’t do her research about the celebrities she interviews. When she was on “Regis & Kathie Lee”, she once asked singer James Taylor how his older brother, Alex, was doing. Once again she was clueless, not knowing Alex Taylor died more than a year before she opened her big mouth.
