New Year Resolutions. Those things that you say you are absolutely positively going to do. You swear. You make a pledge. Going to happen! But, then it doesn’t. You were going to lose ten pounds by Valentines, but you better make it by Saint Patrick’s day. You were going to visit grandma every Sunday. Maybe every other Sunday. Or maybe once a month. You are finally going to read War and Peace, even if it kills you. And it might. Why do we make these ridiculous promises of self improvement? My motto-if you are going to make a promise make it something you are going to keep.

The holiday season can be quite beautiful, but what do you do when it get’s ugly in the stores?

So much time is spent on focusing on how to make the classroom work for the so called normal learning child. What happens to the rest of the class?

Everyone has things they wish they had time to do, things that they really need to do and other big long term goals that they wish they could one day achieve. Time is short for everybody, but there are lots of ways that you can make time for the things you really need to get done and even the things that you just wish you had time for.

It is time to get de-motivated and really set commit yourself to accomplishing nothing.
