This article is for those who don't know what it takes to becoming a better person.

This article is to help you understand what it takes to become a better you. Many people sit and wonder “why is my attitude like this”, “Why do people not like being around me”, “Why do I not have many friends”, “Why is it so hard to see things in a positive way”, “Why does it feel like the world is against me” and “Why can I not find the right person for me”. I am here to help you answer these questions because the answer is pretty simple.

I will start with this story; there was a man working in an office building and he worked with about 20 other people. He had been working on his job for about 10 years and he hadn’t been promoted in 4 years. He asked his boss time and time again why he hadn’t been put in for any awards or promotions and his boss told him “You need to do a self evaluation and you may not be pleased with what you see. The man didn’t know what that meant but he went back to his seat and thought about things he did over the past year.

The first thing he thought about was how he used to take notes of things and research things to be better at his job to stand out, he thought about how much stuff he had been through in his personal life and he noticed how he allowed past circumstances to dictate his future, he realized he stopped working out 4 days a week and started going straight home sitting on the couch watching Television shows full of drama and sadness, he also realized how he became a pesimist about everything and no one wanted to be around him.

Many people have the same kind of issues in their life and they can’t seem to figure out where things took a turn but you must sit down and do a self evaluation. A lot of times people go on for years and years and never seem to be able to get back to being themselves after something tragic happens in their life and I’m living proof of that. After losing my brother to suicide I was stuck asking myself the question what could have possibly been that bad but the reality is I’ll never know that.

People go through different types of things in life and some people look at pressure like it’s nothing and some people buckle under pressure. I remained in the same mental state for about a year and I noticed one day while sitting at a table with a bunch of people that I wasn’t myself because I loved laughing and having fun but I was so serious about everything which wasn’t like me at all. After sitting in listening to the conversation that was going on at the table I knew something was wrong with me.

The first thing I did was I went in search of a minister because I had a lot of stuff on my chest that I needed to get off and I knew I could talk to just anybody because they wouldn’t understand. Once I reached out to a minister and they listened to me I was told to get the Purpose Driven life book and I started on my journey of getting back myself. After understanding that I have no control over situations or even my own life I realized I had to stop stressing and worrying about things I couldn’t change. The past is the past for a reason.

I learned I had to look forward to my future and stop looking back into the past because I was only hurting myself. The question was asked to me “Do you drive a car in the forward motion while you are looking back?” The answer to that question was obviously no which I no one does that but I understood the point. I began to look at my life in a different way because I had goals and dreams so I had to move forward. I made up my mind I was going to focus on my future and leave the past behind.

After sticking to my plan great things started happening in my life like I performed on America’s Got Talent, I was promoted on my job, I was casted in a major film, I was invited on a number of television shows and I met my wife shortly after. I believe if I would have let my pride get the best of me and I would have never sought help for my issues I would have never been able to do the great things I have done in my life. I also believe that if anyone reading this has issues let’s the pride go you will be able to move forward into your future.

If you chose to live your life in denial you’ll only end up hurting yourself more and the people around you because a void still exists in your heart and no matter who you run to they won’t be able to help you if they don’t understand your situation. We only live once so I think everyone should make the best of their lives now and enjoy everyday you have.

My final point is in order to have success in your life you must find out who you are first and work on being a better you. Practice Good business principles and building solid relationships with positive people. Negative people never make it far because they focus on the negative things too often. Remember that negative energy goes in a circle but positive energy busts out of the circle and makes change. Being a positive person makes people want to be around you never know they may want to come to you for help.

Living a clean life is a challenge that calls for a number of prerequisites. Some areas of concerns are telling the truth, using your body as a temple, and avoiding the negative influences of poisonous substances.

To many, it is easier said than done. The challenge for us all is how to live a clean life. Some may say that being totally clean is impossible. This obviously demands a great deal of discipline. Still, it is possible to come close. What a person has to do is to embrace certain principles by which to live.

Telling the Truth

To tell the truth is golden. It is a mark of distinction that identifies our caliber. Without it, a person is unable to be trusted. Many persons do not think anything about telling occasional lies. They lie about their importance. We travel through life knowing that we can get away with things, some of them small and others not so small. As it turns out, we bend the truth. For some, after awhile, individuals are not able to distinguish truth from fiction. But as it is said, “The truth shall set you free.” Therefore, say it and experience the freedom it brings to your soul, body, and spirit. Let others see your works, through the things that you do.

Do not allow obscenities to leave your lips or be part of your life. Instead of cursing why not praise. Give thanks for the beautiful things you encounter daily. Express these in words, pictures, and images. Let your heart be open to the niceties of creation. Think and live uplifting thoughts and delight in all things. These expressions tell others about the truth that is present in the world and us. They celebrate life and give joy. It is very romantic to live your life to the fullest.

Your Body as A Temple

Treat your body kindly and it will do the same for you. Begin by praying and asking for divine intervention in your life. Let your spiritual being be nurtured. Through your psyche you can experience the goodness of all things. Eat properly. Have a balanced diet. There is sound advice that is promoted by dietitians at a hospitals around the country. Follow this and you will help ward off high blood pressure, diabetes, heart, and kidney disease.

Be sure to exercise. Breathe fresh air as you walk and ride in gardens and parks. Avoid pollution. Polluted cities are a hazard and so is such water. Be sensible about these natural blessings from which we partake. They can be the cause of cancer. It is a clever person that chooses where he lives. A lifestyle in the country will be helpful. Some people decide to grow their own food so that they will be able to eat organic meals. Others may raise their own beef to avoid buying from the mass production of such produce.

Avoid Poisonous Substances

Alcohol should be drank in moderation. Doctors recommend that a glass or two of wine will be beneficial for a person’s digestive system. To go overboard, may cause harm. Some persons may become alcoholics. There are those that become addicted to drugs of all kinds and even pain killers. Individuals should stay clear of these temptations, for your objective is to live clean lives. Drugs are harmful and detrimental. Coffee can be helpful if drank in moderation.

- – -

Undoubtedly, from time to time, many of us do backslide and we should surround ourselves with our cheer-leaders. That is where good friends come in. It is great to embrace these. Call on them for advice, company, and reach out when you find yourself in trouble. By these actions, many persons undergo a sort of healing and become better persons for it. They soon will be loving the idea that they are aspiring to live lives that are as clean as possible. A person’s life is on the right track when he can safely say that he has cleaned up his act, and his life is as clean as clean can be.

- – -

Living life with a purpose.

One thing is to be alived and quite another to live life. It seems that all the people who inhabit the earth exists but, however, very few of us live in truth. You know what I mean?

Most people just travel through life and exhaust the time given, doing the same thing day after day automatically, without pausing for a moment even to think about what you want to accomplish and where you want to go. That is being alive but not living. So what is living?

- Living life is to realize the good fortune we have for the simple fact of being alive.

- Living life is getting up every day with the goal to maximize every second of sharing it with those who matter most and dedicate it to achieving what we want.

- Living life is not only breath but also means to dream and pursue our dreams.

- Living life is to have goals and purposes that make sense.

- Living life is to try, fall and get up and try again until accomplished.

- Living life is to strive without giving up.

- Living life is wanting to be happy.

How about you, do you live or just exists?

“The less common in this world is to live. Most people exist, that’s all. ”Oscar Wilde.

Work while you work, play while you play a friend a friend once said. If you are one those that believe in hard work, well hard work is good but make sure that you are healthy and live comfortably. Though work often time can be a pain in the neck, wonder why people have to work to make a living, definitely life will be dreadful if we happen to work in heaven, but there is the feeling that nothing of such will happen. God don’t want us to stress ourselves so hopefully angels will do the work while everybody else will dine with god. After all is a free world, where everything is free but that is free in different dimension free world is not in that sense, the statement is a free world means you can express yourselves positively, that gives you the liberty to give out the intrinsic nature and value in you.

Back to the work and play issue fortunately the number of working population around the world is higher than the unemployment rate, if not then the world is technically torpid but surely the world is not an unmoved mover is more of a moving orbit that moves with powerful gravity to a new space of attribute. The more people work the more active the world get western countries has absolutely make the universe to be in a state of flux change is now constant with several innovative technology, there will be such vibrant in the air when someone that works for the first time collect his first salary or wages an expensive smile is let out that is one of the good things of working. But after work is advisable to play around as well, sometimes is useful never to take things too serious when you free your mind and let your mind flow it will grasp incredible things you don’t yet understand. Few geniuses around the world started by playing with what they like to do best and if you are lucky enough it will blossom beyond what you imagine. Work while you work and play while you play will be a dictum for a New Year resolution.

Why do people think that they are not held accountable for their actions? Do they think that they can go through life and do awful things to people and get away with it? It is so unfortunate that they never turn their bad ways around.

Many have an idea what its like to be tormented by someone. It just doesn’t feel0 good when people keep doing things that they know are going to hurt another. We all have done things that we’re not proud of but, tormented another is just down right wrong. What if they harassed you or tried to take your identity? I mean what makes a person (s) so evil? Well, it could be because they are so miserable with themselves that it makes them feel better making someone else miserable. Its quite sad that they will stoop so low that they are willing to get themselves in trouble with the law.

It is not easy dealing with people who could care less about right or wrong. They spend their lives trying to sabotage someones life but didn’t think that they’ll harm there’s instead. I must say that get makes me angry when people keep doing things to intentionally hurt others. I would like to sit these people down and questione them about what could have happened in their lives to make them so evil. They are difficult to deal with and you may feel a little sick to be in their presence. The best thing you can do is stay away from them. Even if you ask them to change the likely hood is they won’t until something drastic happens.

People should unite instead of trying to attack someone because you’re jealous of them or your life is not what you wanted it to be. No one deserves to be mistreated or attacked. I will continue to pray for people who try to hurt others to make themselves feel better. They did help and sometimes they have to loss everything they have before they realize it. Life is short and we must enjoy it besides who needs a miserable person dragging them down. It is sad and I pray that one day these people wake up before its to late.

My house is my palace. From my home everything gets beginning.

Everyone at the world may dream to get one place which cozy for rest, sleep, and take shelter from heat, rain, and cold weather. One home for the so called shelter home. There is while whereabouts bird shall return to its den, there is while whereabouts son of man shall congregate with second oldster warmth it, therefore man even requires house.

Comfortable house require robust earth to underpin building that lies on it. Each earth span is foundation divide existence one house which will be built. Soiled quality option that good as main requisite for convenience for can stay behind and making a abode, including make ready building structure that anti earthquake, flood, and burn up e.g..

Someone remained and making a abode, fertile amends, broadcasting offspring, keeping up tradition, begin of one house. Miscellaneous form and proprietary house human. Each dream may become to come into the world from home cute in narrow room, or maybe of one old hut that really weathered, and has shortly demolished because jeopardize its owner. Even may become life gets beginning of palace kitsch building that comfortable.

There are many dreams that are not most think up and just as remained on the house that permanent. Maybe some people to dream only they haven’t feel equal again. Having house as one myth before sleep. Myth who may never can most take in deep dreamy, since just have very expensive, even less has it.

Then, get what actually that house price? Depend! Yes, depend from how much feels equal we buy it and is not of model and type that we wants. Since oft wish in conflict with fact.

Why? Why one part of we get hard-earned all these years to get house? And even house not visiting being had? Is not available easier trick, faster, and plausible a only to get one house which default, without wait time too long castaway? Or waits urban’s clan growing at carries the wind us?

Human requirement home will force man for toiling, solving duty assignment for a few money sheet and keeps it. And while waits miracle, that man regular just can’t have its own house. In contrast to ala the living one ant gets their colony have can build protection self that enough safe subterranean. Therefore man which practically cultured of ant will bow the neck to prevailing law at society. It requires certificate, right for earth vesture, etcetera. If no that all therefore gets ready a while loved house we suddenly being condemned or fall in polemical dispute which really are rough on. Therefore, if craving house was had, armed with patience to lease or maybe sponge with brother, kinsfolk or maybe with others. And if can apologies, this don’t until happening, enforced man lives under bridges that really dirties and that inhuman.

Instinct to have house that reasonably becomes most intercept when all life requirement so expensive and scarcely any affordable. Partly human delay fantasy it will its craving house that. Try to enjoy what aught, looking forward The Infinite deposits to key one of house at housing real estate to us.

May just if we green eyed. Maybe jealous with current world situation. The world that can’t “ bear ” one houses, then distributed by free goes to one any one that “cries” since wet by rain and heat. This world is not really a free. This the world really has to be bought by “something” that don’t we have (read: money). Since alone man has no what, besides this nude body and it is loan even from God.

What do be fancied man actually is not a only as home as shade (house) but also one house which cozy( home ). Therefore, she or he luckily when he get dreamed house. With windfall’s chance or blessing that proprietary peopled have lived at its monarchy each. House becomes its growing startup inspiration divide human time rest along its body.

Therefore in consequence, man is not afterwards perpetually get illusion and get illusion. That there is clean task that must goes on walking, namely works. Well working to man and also works to retrieve homewards to God with Mighty Rich and His candidness, including has the good house at heaven. Hopefully, God willing.

Enjoying the small things.

Have you ever heard a childs laughter with your heart and not your ears?Have you ever seen the stars with your soul, and not your eyes?Have you ever really stopped to smell the flowers along the way?In the times today,so much of the good stuff gets passed up.In this modern, high tech era,so many of the little things seem to go unnoticed. With cell phones, video games, computers, some of lifes most precious memories are being bypassed.I realized that I also fell into this category, and it was purely by accident. My daughter, who is 20 yrs old was visiting,When she was younger,we always use to listen to records, yeah the old timey, vinyl albums, and 45’s.She is probably only one of a few in her age group that actually knows some of the old songs. And I’m talking 1940s to 1980s.And we listened to a little bit of everything, from truckers songs(my dad was a truck driver)to Cher,to Ray Stevens and everything in between.Well, she came to visit recently, and we broke out the oldies but goodies,a blast from the past so to speak, and it was wonderful.Just brought back so many memories. We were laughing and talking about things, that just don’t come up in normal conversation. And the more we talked, the more memories we shared.Things we had forgotten about. And it was good to relive those days, because we got to fill in my new husband and her fiance of our good ole days.I often wonder how things would be,if cell phones, computers, video games didn’t exist?Would there be more seeing the real world? With the holidays coming up,try to slow down and enjoy life a little.Take time to see things you might have been missing.Try to see and hear things differently, you may be surprised at what you have missed. For myself,I’m going to try to find my inner child and try to find some new meaning in life. There really is something to the old saying “Take time to stop and smell the roses”.You may find a whole other world out there, that somehow has been lost and all but forgotten.Modern gadgets are wonderful, and in this day and time, almost a necessity, but so are building memories, something to hand down from generation to generation.I value the time I spend with my family. And I am so grateful that I have good memories to pass to my kids, and that they actually enjoy listening and getting to know the past.I think my daughter gets a kick out of it.The music, clothes styles, cars, old photos(which is great to make fun of old hair styles) ha-ha.But life is so precious, don’t let it pass you by.Slow down, take a deep breathe and enjoy.

Using analogies is an amazing gift. Understanding them is just as important.

A couple of years ago, I felt myself losing control of my life. Nothing seemed right; I was to the point where enough was not enough for me. What I did not notice is, when I realized I was losing control, control had long ago been lost. It was a slow process, but it was a continuous downhill process. I recently decided on an analogy to explain this slow and steady downhill spiral.

I feel like I’m in a huge, deep pool. I am in the center and I am treading water. I have, in fact, been treading water for a while, weighing my options while doing so. My options are simple: sink or swim, but I have overcomplicated them in my mind.

I was recently enlightened to the fact that I have more options, or rather, I can make swimming much easier…or I can make sinking much quicker. If I chose to swim, it would be much easier if I would just relinquish control. Take a deep breath, go under, and sink until I reached the bottom. I then would realize, that while I have finally reached rock bottom, I have been presented with an interesting opportunity. Once I reached the bottom, I was then in a position to plant my feet firmly on the bottom, bend my knees and spring up, using rock bottom as a stepping stone on my way up. Doing so required faith, trust, and admittance…
Or…I could simply continue to wave my arms wildly, exerting massive amounts of energy to avoid grounding myself on the bottom, in fear of getting stuck. I could then sink involuntarily because of my previous decision to exhaust my energy needlessly.

I made a choice. I chose to swim.

There is less certainty in being able to swim once I have spent useful energy on useless fighting of the water trying to resurface, so I decided using the bottom as leverage was the smartest choice. I am also, in this moment, sure of exactly what the bottom looks and feels like, and although it proved beneficial this one time, I would not like to visit it again. Honestly, it’s just too far down to come back again.

I am now committed to swimming. I am not swimming for time, only for completion. This is not a race; I can take one arm at a time and take a breath when I need to for as long as I want. Funny thing is, now that I have decided to swim I notice my perception was off…this was never a pool I was in, it is more akin to an ocean. It’s full of currents, waves, unfamiliar spaces, unfamiliar species…once I took off the blinders, I realized my tunnel vision had downsized my world tremendously. But regardless of the size, I was here, and I was swimming.

I can only do this one stroke at a time, and giving up is simply not an option; never was, never will be. I prayed for change and God tossed me a lifeline. He is truly capable of doing for me what I clearly have never been able to do for myself. All I had to do is relinquish control and ask for help.

A cradle is a picture of life, while the grave is a picture of death; this article can certainly give us an idea of what must be done with our lives between the cradle and the grave.

People are fond of making a stroll in a mall. Thousands are getting in everyday, some are just there to enjoy the cold environment, while others have the intention to buy something. Everyone is free to roam inside the huge building, doing anything they want to do, but at the end of the day all must get out as a rule and policy. That is a picture of life, there is an entrance and an exit. At the time of our birth, we entered the world like entering a mall, then we live our lives the way we want it, go to places we thought would give us satisfaction and happiness; and after that, we exit into oblivion. There is a big difference between a mall and the so called life. In the former, a person is in control of his time, he or she can get out from the building at 3 pm or 5 pm; while in the aspect of life, it might be taken from a person anytime. In life, the entrance and exit are of less importance compared to what happened in between. In other words, how we live our lives matter most than anything else. Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero, lived only up to the age of 35; yet his activities and accomplishments are being known ,through books and teachings, in this generation and in the coming years. Let us ponder on how to best live our lives from the cradle to the grave.

James 4:14 ( Bible / New living translation ) How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.
