Are they real?

Big Foot, Yeti, Sasquatch, it goes by many names but is it real? And is it the missing link between apes and humans?

I don’t know about all of that, but I do know that new things are discovered everyday. On this whole planet there is no way we can find everything there is to find. If there are animals such as these out there in the world they are not still here because they are stupid. No they are here cause they have remained hidden from people for possibly thousands of years. If they had been found they would surely all almost be dead by now due to hunters and people capturing them for further study.

Maybe if we would back off these animals wouldn’t be so scared and show theirselves more, but in all honesty I think we just need to accept that there are things in this world that we will never know everything about, and that all things are not meant to be found.

My personal views on Nessie and why she is such a big part of Scottish culture.

Being Scottish myself I grew up knowing that there was a “monster” in Loch Ness. As a child of about 8, I visited the Loch side expedition. I was fancinated by her. But as I’ve grown up I have developed an interest in the paranormal, myths and legends.

I have read numerous stories about Nessie, including eye wittness accounts. The earliest story I was able to find was of how St Columba apparently calmed the beast when he came across to visit a Pictish King.

What interests me is that so many people have seen it and the sightings spand over hundreds of years. I used to believe that Nessie was a plesiosaur, many recent eye wittness accounts suggest that the body shape and size is of that which they have heard a plesiosaur was supposed to be like. But besides the obvious (being that dinosaurs are extinct), the evidence shows that the loch doesn’t have enough feeding resources to be able to sustain a dinosaur.

Another explanation of what Nessie may be is a large Sturgeon fish. Sturgeons are thought to have been around for about 200 million years. This would tie in with the age long list of sightings as Sturgeons are still around and obviously still breed. Sturgeons are known to get into River Ness so is highly possible to get into the Loch. right?

There are plenty of opinions of what Nessie may be. There are also a number of monster hunters who have carried out research into the Loch, searching for Nessie. But what would it mean for Scotland should their research show that there is no monster?

Nessie is world famous and is by far Scotlands most famous monster. She brings thousands of tourists each year. If research were to find that there is definitely no monster, would visits to Scotland decrease? Or would people dismiss it and still believe that there is something out there in the depths of the Loch?

I for one definitely believe that there is something in Loch Ness, and its the mystery of what it could be that keeps the legend going.

Prior to the sea creatures that roam the waters today, there was a different breed of animal roaming the sea. Recently discovered fossils indicate some sort of levianthin creature roaming the murky deapths of the sea.

This is a historic find because it shows the existance of another breed of creatures that were originally thought to exist only in tall tales and myths. Now that we have uncovered this fossil, who’s to say that the Loch Ness monster wasn’t real, or even other mythical creatures.

This will open doors to more discoveries and more insight as to whether or not this find will lead to more discoveries.

There is the Chupacabras, the Loch Ness Monster and UFOs, and if you happen to see one of them, we guarantee you that the Slender Man is not like the other monsters.

He likes to wear a black suit and has no visible face. His arms stretched wide to catch his chosen prey. He is tall enough to be a giraffe, and he likes to hunt children. Many apparitions of the Slender Man have been reported and linked to UFOs.

The Slender Man likes to spy on small children, waiting for the right moment to kidnap them. Like with any other ghosts, monsters and demons legends, photos of the Slender Man can be found on the Internet. Sightings and stories are being reported everyday. The only thing we find intriguing with this monster is that the Slender Man is 100% fake for some. Others think he is the real deal.

Is the Slender Man fake, and nothing but a scary story made that keeps spreading on the Internet? Do you have to fear of the Slender Man? Why so many people still claim to have seen him? Well, people are spreading the legend to have fun or to scare little children. We don’t believe everything we read. Do you? The Internet is flooded with liars; this could be the more reasonable explanation for the sightings and stories.

But there is always a “But” and because we like to scare the living Jesus out of other people, we are going to say that your imagination can turn into a reality. Ever heard of the power of the mind? This theory has always scared us. It is said that thoughts can become things, and with the power of the mind and strength you can give birth to anything. In some ways it makes sense, if you think about it, small children see things we can’t see because they made up things in their heads and it became real to them.

Could this be Alabama's own "Nessie?"

Could a small public water supply lake in northern Alabama have it’s very own version of the Loch Ness Monster? Well, two reports at different times this summer might make one wonder a little. One by a fisherman and one by a woman driving over the bridge that runs across part of the lake.

Lake Catoma, located in Cullman Alabama is quite deep in places, and was at one time before impoundment just a creek running through the city. Who knows what might have lived in the old creek all those many years ago. Even more fascinating is what might live in the lake now.

The fisherman reported that he was watching a school of shad being chased by bass, when all at once something much bigger seemed to be chasing the bass. He claimed there was no way to see actually how long the fish or creature was but it looked to be about three feet wide. It only stayed on the surface for a few seconds and was gone.

The lady driving across the bridge only briefly saw something large and dark surface and go down again. She also claimed that whatever she saw was too big to be a fish. In my opinion this could be an alligator. But how one so big could end up in a northern Alabama lake, well that would be another mystery. Not to mention an alligator that size would surely have already been sited by others who fish on the lake or home owners.

Investigation is now underway to determine what might have made Lake Catoma it’s home, and if it is dangerous. Stay tuned…more to come.

“When convention and science offer us no answers, might we not finally turn to the fantastic as a plausibility?” – David Duchovny as Fox Mulder (The X-Files, “Pilot”)

I think one of the most misunderstood things about the paranormal is that it may be normal. Things we don’t understand and perhaps simply don’t possess the technology yet to be able to fully understand the phenomena out there. If we did, wouldn’t those paranormal investigators be out of a job? Their area of study would just be “normal investigation”, nothing “para” about it. Nevertheless, their work must be done as the modern and mainstream accepted sciences want no part of it for the time being. Whatever is happening across the world, regarding all types of paranormal events and phenomena, it’s pretty clear something is going on. Unless the entire planet is in varying states of hallucination and hysteria, and let’s hope we find out if that’s true if it’s indeed happening…

I present another look at the strange happenings in our world. Perhaps, only the fantastic can be proven by the fantastic. Our world’s ecosystems are interconnected through the efforts of plants, animals, and the world around them to keep the circle of life moving. The paranormal maybe connected in the same way. Connected, both in it’s own separate existence from us, and with us moving in concert with our known ecosystems and life cycles. So, in my approach to this large area of the paranormal, I try to think of ways to connect the dots of the paranormal in such a way that they don’t contradict something else already existing, either in the world as we know it or maybe something that exists to us only in folklore.

To knock a few off the top, the existence of UFOs does not contradict whether the Loch Ness Monster exists or not. Both could co-exist at the same time. Likewise prophets and their prophecies don’t contradict the existance of ghosts. The cryptozoology field itself has a natural basis for everything in it to be true, just undiscovered. In another direction the idea of enhanced consciousness and levels of spirituality naturally contradict nothing in the psychical world. Science is moving in leaps and bounds in certain aspects of this area and it may one day be proven, but for now, telekenesis, telepathy and other mind powers remain in the paranormal category. No “mind power” contradicts any of the above either, it too can exist at the same time. To change directions again, Scottish legends of Little People could fall in a number of categories. It could simply be cryptozoology being a race of pygmies in different areas of the Earth.

It all must be approached with a healthy bit of skepicism of course. There are hoaxed tales and hoaxed evidence to all of the above subjects I listed. The thing to remember is that we’ve got tens of thousands of years of folklore, stories, legends and our modern sights to draw on for information. I believe all the pieces are there to solve some of the puzzle. We just don’t know what the big picture is supposed to look like. The vast majority of this field makes the average person take a leap of faith too far for them most of the time, but if enough people don’t do it, how are we ever to going to the bottom of our planet’s mysteries?

KNOWN monster was apparent again, but this time bent on camera. People who abstraction accepted Nessie who say that it is accessible that it absolutely is about the allegorical animal of Scottish lakes, letters AP.

“I could not accept my eyes back I saw this jet atramentous thing, about 14 meters long, how fast they move beneath water,” said Gordon Holmes, 55-year-old class artisan who was on Saturday attack a video clip. He added that he was affective in a beeline band at a acceleration of about 10 km / h.

Loch Ness is associated with abounding belief and mysteries. It is the added good anatomy of baptize on acreage in Britain.

“There are abounding explanations for the sightings in the lake. It could be some biological creature, the after-effects on the basin or some cerebral abnormality in the faculty that we see as abundant as we appetite to see,” says abyssal biologist Adrian Shine.

First, seeing monsters associated with one of the founders of the Christian abbey in Scotland, Sv.Columba, who wrote about them about the 565th year.

From the aboriginal photograph from 1930. until today, over 4,000 appear sightings Nessie, and has been recorded abounding explanations, than it is a absolutely alien breed of sturgeon, alike admitting it has for abounding years, was empiric in Scottish waters, so to altercate that this is the aftermost actual dinosaur.

Holmes attack is conceivably the best affirmation that a abstruse animal absolutely inhabiting Scottish lake, but as was the case with beforehand recordings, and photographs, and he is far from compelling.

When scientists apparent the Komodo dragons were assertive that the chat of the birth of allegorical animals. Suddenly, they saw a “giant creature, which had a close like a snake”, as peaceful basin pond area. While all about him creating abnormal after-effects are not big barbarian angry curiously, as if they were absorbed in every detail on the shores of the lake. Shortly afterwards it vanished, abrogation abaft the afflicted water.

There was no doubt, swore in advanced of reporters and television cameramen John Mac-Kay that it was a – a active creature! Since then, the monster of Loch Ness admiring abounding researchers, scientists, kriptozoologe, adventurers, photographers and television cameramen. However, in the abutting decades in the amnion of the acclaimed Scottish basin has not registered annihilation unusual, best concluded their studies acutely aghast and after any success. They are happier or added good to say added skilled, they were able to celluloid band allegedly recorded some “strange”, but none so far captured is not so bright and actual to argue advisers to get bottomward in the aphotic base of the lake, whipping a aberrant creature, abnormal appearance, and alike added hasty American decent. In chase of Nessie and are now acclimated all accessible techniques of automatic underwater cameras, hydrophones, and alarm precision, to the appropriate bathyscaphe, miniature submarines and accessory technology, by which in 1987. The one accumulation of Japanese advisers aggravating to break a riddle, and to trace the basin monster. Geek taken underwater camera agnate attack was agitated out in summertime 2001. year. The accumulation of Swedish scientists-led researcher Jan Sundberg at dvanaestodnevnoj operation “Clean Swep” abominably to bolt the pokšavala popolarnu Nessie.

Image via Wikipedia

Sundberg, whose analysis with abundant interest, accompanied by journalists from all over the world, opined that he believed that the monster of Scottish lakes alien breed of ample eels, which can be bent application a appropriate network. But, as he himself Sundberg assertive it is no accessible in Loch Ness, 230 meters deep, to baffle the allegorical monster. The aboriginal and conceivably best important botheration lies in how to accomplish such afterimage to be able to see Nessie. The baptize of the basin is muddy, aphotic and abounding with blubbery peat particles, so it does not see through it alike at a abyss of two meters. WORLD Dinosaurs: Abounding advisers accept that it is not absolutely extinct, however, so far the better success was a assiduous and amorous researcher acclaimed lake, a adjacent citizen of Fort Augustus. He assisted with the accustomed camera flash, at a abyss of 66 meters, fabricated added than 2000 shots. On some recordings, addendum contour amazing creatures crvenkastosmede paint, bugs, about four anxiety in acme with a almost attenuate and continued close catastrophe in an almighty pointed, the serpent’s head.

Unsolved Mysteries.

Unsolved Mysteries: Hoax or legit?

We can’t come to know and understand everything about the world. The world is a very big place and, in a sense, continues to expand daily. It’s full of puzzles and riddles and as such, the world is an enigma. There are lots of secrets out there just waiting to be revealed, one just needs to dwell deeper into the unknown to unearth the world’s hidden secrets and finally, shed some light on what came to be known as “unsolved mysteries”. Are these enigmas just some pranks that attention deficit people play? Or are they so legit that government higher-ups are covering them up as it might disrupt nature’s delicate balance? Here are some notable examples of such mysterious occurrence.

The Nazca Lines. These are a huge series of lines, geometric shapes, and drawings made by the ancient Nazcas sometime between 400 and 650 AD. The drawings vary in sizes. One drawing deserving of recognition is that of a monkey which could roughly cover about two football fields. What’s so fascinating and intriguing about these depictions is how they were created. Huge drawings like these require a person to be flying or perhaps standing in a tall structure wherein the whole picture being drawn can be seen at just one glance. Another question about these lines is the reason behind their creation. Some say they were made to venerate their gods as they could see it from the sky. Others say that it served as a landing or parking spaces of alien aircrafts. For whatever reason, we cannot know as the Nazcas never lived long enough to give us more clues.

Ghosts. Yes, like the ones in the stories your mother used to tell you to keep you from staying up late. Ghosts are the spirits or souls of people that passed away, yet cannot move on as they are still attached to this world for various reasons. Not everyone can see them, but I’m quite sure that a friend of yours or a friend of a friend of yours have claimed to have seen or came in contact with these supernatural beings. These are people with the so-called “third eye”. As I’ve said, not everyone can see or talk to them so their existence is shrouded in wonder and mystery which still cannot be illuminated upon as of now.

The Bermuda Triangle. Ah yes, the Bermuda Triangle, one of the greatest unexplained phenomena of the 20th century. The triangle is formed by three islands, namely: Florida, San Juan, and Bermuda. The body of water in between the islands forms a triangle, which is responsible for the name. It is deemed to be responsible for numerous aircraft disappearances and home to a lot of shipwrecks. Sounds normal, right? Well, not really. After you’ve heard some of the “whys” of these occurrences, it would not sound so normal anymore. The reasons vary from acceptable ones such as human error, equipment malfunctions, and natural disasters (tidal waves, storms etc.) and there are the unfathomable ones, extra-terrestrial forces at work, paranormal explanations, and even a vortex to another world.

Lochness Monster. Commonly and affectionately referred to as Nessie, is a prehistoric animal that is believed to dwell within the depths of the Loch Ness (Lake Ness) in the Scottish Highlands. The very first sighting of what believed to be was Nessie happened in 1933 when a man from London who went there for vacation apparently claimed to have seen the creature. After that, sightings of Nessie grew larger until in 1960, the first evidence was made. An aeronautical engineer Tim Dinsdale, filmed a what appeared to be a hump swimming in the water with a wake stronger than that of a boat. A few years later, the footage was digitally enhanced and revealed more intriguing evidence. It revealed flippers and more humps which convinced more people that Nessie is real. Is there really something that lived during the age of dinosaurs swimming around that lake? Answers to this cold case cannot be said as of now, but it would be extremely fascinating if Nessie does exist until now.

Lines meant to guide aliens and please gods, souls of the dead that walk with the living, an area of sea where the weird and unexplainable occurs, and a creature known to be thousands of years old inhabiting a lake? These are only a few mind-boggling and intriguing instances that make us doubt the very basic principles of science. Like what I’ve said, we cannot know everything there is about the world. Sometimes, we are better off not knowing things as thus should be left as secrets. Though, we cannot know for sure, but maybe someday brought about by the advancements in science, we may be able to unravel the answers to why Mother Nature plays such tricks on the human mind. For now, it is up to you to decide, are these legit? Or just hoaxes?

Sightings of the strange beast – China’s version of the ‘Loch Ness Monster’ – date back more than a century, but like Scotland’s famed “Nessie” reports vary and remain unconfirmed.

On the morning of July 11, several local government cadres caught sight of a school of mysterious creatures swimming through the lake in the Changbai mountains, in northeastern Jilin province, the Beijing Youth Daily said.

“Within about 50 minutes, the monsters appeared five times,” it quoted one of the officials, provincial forestry bureau vice-director Zhang Lufeng, as saying. “At times there was one, at times there were several. The last time, there were as many as about 20.”

He said the creatures, two to three kilometres in the distance, appeared only as white or black spots. But from the ripples in the water, he and others determined the spots were “living beings”.

Officials were not reachable for comment.

In 1903, according to local records, a creature resembling a huge buffalo with a deafening roar sprang out of the water and attempted to attack three people before one them shot it in the belly six times. The beast roared and disappeared back into the water.

A more recently documented sighting compared the head of the monster to that of a human – except with big round eyes, a protruding mouth and a neck 1.2 to 1.5 metres long. It also had a white ring separating its neck and torso and smooth, grey skin.

The most famous Bigfoot story of recent years comes from the United States to spend in the woods in northern Georgia, where two police officers said they found the body of a hairy monster in an abandoned refrigerator on a river bed. At that time, in August 2008, and our website ran the story in question - the overseas media, from tabloid newspapers, television stations can be as reliable thundered on the topic, a decomposed corpse is Bigfoot , however, one thing that not all roads meet. In the area there were many legends about a semi-intelligent creature, a primate than any mountain gorilla, also some traces of Indian hunters and searchers have found traces afirmasera as strange in the woods … unfortunately, ultimately, proved a false story, Bigfoot is “made” in a carnival costume, mate pig muscles of deer and other animal waste.

However, reports of Ts’emekwes or Sasquatch, as it is called a monster by Native Americans, continued with the same consistency, people saying that they saw the hairy-footed than Mount Call from British Columbia, north-west Ontario, on Highway 101 in California or Lake skiff, bordering a while – that’s only in North America.Montaniarda version of Bigfoot, Yeti snow famous man was again reported in Nepal: fixed a year ago, a team of experts analyze samples of hair , and in October 2008, a Japanese team of anthropologists and zoologists discovered during an expedition to the Nepalese yeti’s footsteps on Mount Dhaulagiri IV.

Last year they celebrated 75 years since famous as the Loch Ness monster was photographed for the first time, an event that would be spent on 12 November 1933. Since then, over 1,000 individuals claim to have seen the underwater monster. Last time this would be shown in April and it seems to have been filmed by a Briton, David Garside who are here on vacation with her son. As you see, it is hard to say exactly what is on film (the video was filmed on a mobile phone), but obviously it’s … something.

In other news, a cousin of the Loch Ness over the ocean, Ogopogo (or Naitaka, Lake Demon as he says in red leather Salish language), the monster of Lake Okanagan as tartotul of British Columbia, Canada, was seen eight times this year and Storsjoe - also a lake monster, Swedish, and that is the age in Stockholm – it was photographed last summer.
