The Former Xena Warrior Princess, Lucy Lawless bares all in new Starz series.

Now see Lucy Lawless in a nude lesbian romp in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena

That’s right. No joke, no rumor, and no false misleading article, Lucy Lawless, Xena herself, is finally naked on film. Xena has a huge cult following and Lawless herself has a legion of devoted fans. Now Lucy is starring in the new Starz television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Spartacus has been getting a lot of notoriety due to its copious amounts of nudity and sex. It has been described as a cross between Rome and 300 with a little bit of Caligula thrown in for good measure. Normally in a series like the the nudity is mostly left to the extras, but not so for Lucy Lawless. Though Lawless now 46, has shied away from nudity in the past, the Xena star has dropped her top for Spartacus. Even when Lawless is clothed, her costumes are very revealing and she is simply beautiful. It’s too early to tell how Lucy’s loyal legion of fans will react. It is safe to say that many men, and women, have been eagerly awaiting a look at the warrior twins.

Do you need the real thing? http://lorddixiesblog.blogspot.com/

Lawless first gained fame in the fantasy sword and sorceryseries created and co produced by her future husband Rob Tapert. As Xena, Lucy fought alongside her gal pal Gabrielle, played by Renee O’Connor. The two of them set many men’s heart a flutter and as the series went on, it appeared the two were more than just friends. The presumed sexual relationship between Lawless and O’Connor gained the series a large gay and lesbian following, which continues today. Still although the two paraded around in skimpy outfits and frequently bathed, showered and swam, the goods remained fully and frustratingly out of sight.

The first appearance of Xena actually occurred on the series Hercules, the Legendary Journeys with Kevin Sorbo in 1994. Originally a villain, Lawless appeared as Xena in two other episodes. In the last episode the Xena was changed to a heroic character and a spin-off, starring Lawless was created and premiered in 1995. Xena: Warrior Princess propelled Lawless into super stardom in its six season run. In 1997 Lucy Lawless was named one of the “50 most beautiful people in the world” by People magazine. Also in 1997 she gave a first peek at the peaks accidentally. During a performance of the national anthem, Lucy inadvertently popped out of her top. She was mortified. Most of her fans felt bad about her embarrassing accident. Anyone putting themselves in her shoes, or bustier as it were, would surely know how she felt. Still men everywhere had only had their appetite whetted, not satisfied.

After the Xena series came to an end in 2001, Lawless made many appearances on television and stage. Her highest profile role came in 2005 when she joined the cast of Battlestar Galactia on the Sci Fi network. Lucy took the role of D’Anna Biers, a reporter who is eventually revealed to be a cylon. Sporting blond hair she was barely recognizable as the former leather clad, brunette Xena. If anything Lawless was more beautiful than in her Xena days. Her role in Galactica was recurring but sporadic and the series came to an end in 2009. Once again Lucy had become part of a television show with a large following that seems destined for cult status. Still since this was a basic cable channel she remained fully clothed to many of her fans despair.

Now in 2010, Lucy Lawless has taken her most daring role to date. She stars as Lucretia on the controversial Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Sporting a flaming red wig and little more, Lawless is a vision of beauty. She alternates between red and blond tresses on the show, but fans hope she will one day sport a black wig as a nod toward Xena. Likewise many fans hope Lucy will continue to shed her clothes as the series continues. Male and female nudity is rampant in Spartacus. There is full frontal male and female nudity although some may be simulated. Lawless has not gone so far as to reveal that much, but she has appeared in a very see through gown and a extremely steamy topless love scene. Lucy’s appears topless in the love scene but it is filmed so as not to be to extremely revealing, however this is just the second episode of the season. We can only wonder if and when Xena will reveal more of herself to the camera.

After Lucy Lawless, who is the next nude celeb?

Spartacus is an entertaining show even without the nudity and sex. It is filled with great fight scenes, CGI effects and imaginative camera work. With the nudity, especially from Lucy Lawless, it becomes a must see. Unlike her accidental reveal back in 1997, Lawless fans can enjoy this guilt free. Now that Xena has finally dropped her top only one thing is left to say. Gabrielle, it’s time to whip them out.

Lucy Lawless exclusive nude update

Friendly update!! Lucy Lawless has not disappointed fans. Xena, err Lucy I mean, has fully bared her breasts in the tub. Appeared in several scenes in a completely see through gown that would shame Xena. The lovely Ms. Lawless has also been in many love scenes, some very loud and kinky. The season is still not over and we can only hope for more, a hope that I am sure Lucy lawless will not deny us.

Update Lucy’s character was killed off in the final episode of the season. Hopefully we will have loads of naked flashbacks or a twin for season 2

There will be a season 2, more nudey goodness
