This difference is resolution of Women and Men.

Resolution is a universal behavior that made many people in various parts of the world. If a Jew makes a resolution on New Year Rosh Hashanah, the Hindu celebration of Diwali resolution when making any mid-October, Muslims initiate behavior change for the better every time Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, Muharram is also the new year. For followers of the Gregorian calendar, resolutions are made every time the turn of the year of our Lord. Every year, every individual makes a promise to himself to make his life better. Women and men alike had a tradition to make resolutions, but have different priorities.

According to a survey conducted Huffington Post (via an online survey services provider SocialSci and Mechanical Turk), against 230 adult respondents in the United States, women and men have different priorities in the development itself. Respondents answered questions about the custom of making resolutions, including resolutions they made in the past. This survey shows what kind of resolution are the priorities of women and men.

* Exercise: 78 percent of women, men 70 percent.
* Life is more regularly: 74 percent women, 66 percent male.
* More patient: 73 percent of women and men have this resolution.
* Work harder: men 73 percent, 67 percent of women.
* More to enjoy life: 69 percent of women, men 64 percent.
* Stop smoking: 63 percent male, 53 percent of women.
* Spend more time with your spouse: 61 percent of women, men 60 percent.
* Spend time with friends: 61 percent of women choose it, while only 49 percent of men who make New Year’s resolution.
* Stop drinking alcohol: 60 percent male, 14 percent of women.
* Spend more time with your children often: 59 percent of mothers, fathers 57 per cent.
* Lose weight: 57 percent of women, men 54 percent.

This survey also shows more women than men often make resolutions. As many as 63 percent of female respondents admitted they made a resolution every year, while only 50 percent of men who do the same. Women also tend to be more open, to let resolutions that they made to others. While 93 percent of male respondents said the resolution is personal and only for yourself not to be disclosed to others.

What about you, if your resolution and your spouse, boyfriend, sister or brother men, different in terms of priority is also the custom of making resolutions?

Hello friends,
In this article you will get all the details about Women's issues.

Ladies, this one is for you. Your mother always told you “Don’t give away the farm.” Yet men have been saying, “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?” It’s a paradox; women think they need to put out, or they’ll lose their man. Men don’t want a woman who puts out; at least not long term they don’t. Are you the type of woman who men take home to bed; or the type who men take home to meet Mom?

One man described it this way, “When I’m talking to a woman, either on-line, on the phone, or in person, who do you think is the first person to bring up sex? Almost always it’s the woman. I don’t. I can tell almost instantly if the woman is classy or cheap. I want a woman who is confident, not insecure and thinks she needs to attract me by offering up free sex. What healthy, heterosexual man doesn’t want or enjoy sex with a woman? But I don’t want someone that everyone else has enjoyed. A classy woman is intriguing, mysterious and alluring. Her appearance and the way she carries herself can be very appealing. There’s a huge difference between sexy and sleazy; and unfortunately many woman don’t know the difference.”

Ladies wise up! If you don’t understand why you keep attracting the wrong men, it’s because your standards are too low. Set the bar higher. Do not engage in innuendos or blatant conversation that is sexual in nature. Just don’t do it. You may think you are flirting; but what you are doing is sending a signal to the man that you’re easy. You may hook him for a time. You may both be filled with infatuation, but it won’t last. Men will look at you as the good time gal; not as a keeper.

What are you wearing? Low rise jeans and tummy shirts are in. They’re not in if you don’t have the body to wear that style of clothing and they’re not in if you’re trying to convince the men that you’re a classy lady. That is not to say you need to haul out the turtle neck sweaters and long skirts which cover up your ankles.

You will not be able to change your belief system overnight; your views on what men want. But what you can change almost instantly is how you dress and how you talk. Decide today that you will not openly discuss sex or make comments of a sexual nature with men. There are ways you can let someone know you’re interested without sounding like a hootchie mamma. And lastly, take inventory of your wardrobe. Leave a little to the imagination, don’t show it all.

Men want a classy woman.

Any man who has not realized God, his voluntary death due to fear of physical pains or troubles is not only suicide but also a great sin.

Astonished to see the title! If you are hearing or seeing this topic for the first time, it is natural to be surprised because most people

are unaware of this topic. I also felt a little awkward when, for the first time, I read an article in which it had been demanded that voluntary death should be accepted as a constitutional right. Though, in western countries this demand has been in calling for much earlier. Many books have been written and published there on this subject. It was said that in modern age of science a pill or technique should be researched which can make a person’s death comfortable and painless who wants to die at his will. The reasons in their support they give are that if a person suffering from incurable diseases like cancer or in disability he depends wholly on others, it is better to die rather than suffer a lot of pains and uncomforts. For this he needs a legal right to die at his will. Though a legal right could not be achieved, it established in different countries such institutions, hospitals and organizations that provide medicines and advices for those who want to accept voluntary death.

Let’s see antiquity of involuntary death. There are ample proofs of the prevalence of involuntary death in Indian mythology and ancient scriptures. For instance, body abandoned by sage Sutikshan Muni in the period of Ramayana. It is said in Ramcharitmanas- Ehi bidhi sar rachi muni Sarbhanga|Baithe hriday chhadi sab sanga|| And in the era of Mahabharat, the story of Bhisma’s death is not hidden to anyone. On considering deeply, we come toknow that both of of them had attained sddhi and and their fame spread out far and wide as great men in their life time. Such a person, who has gave up everything for his country and society, his voluntary death has never been termed as suicide; and to call it so is improper and condemnable. In this way we find that Hindu Scriptures accept right to voluntary death. Here it is to be noted that it was never announced from any kingdom or state. I do not mean that there be no new laws or no changes be made in those customs and prevalence that are going on since long time; but I want to only that those customs and rules which give rise to our national feelings and make our characters stronger, help increasing our strength our faith in God; should they be changed or quit? Will the legal acceptance of right to voluntary death make our feelings of service disabled? When all the religions of the world accept that man’s life is attained by God’s mercy and the ultimate aim of life to know soul and be one with the Supreme Being. Our scriptures provide ample proofs when physically disabled persons have realized God. For example Ajamil. Thus, any man who has not realized God, his voluntary death due to fear of physical pains or troubles is not only suicide but also a great sin.

Review for the movie "Man On A Ledge"

I wished before seeing this movie I had not been told the basic plot of the movie, as it would have been a greater surprise to me on how the plot unfolds. So if you do not want this movie spoilt in the same way please look away now.

Now having been told what was going to happen in the movie, it did rob me of the surprise that this was not really a film about a man who is on the brink of suicide. I really would have liked not to know what the real plot was. Which is Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) a cop who was falsely imprisoned for the theft of a 40 million dollar diamond. So along with his brother Joey (Jamie Bell) and Joeys girlfriend Angie (Genesis Rodriguez), they set about trying to prove Nicks Innocence, by stealing the diamond from Evil Businessman’s David Englander (Ed Harris) safe.

Unlike most films of this ilk this movie has a very clever plot device, and that is Nick spends most of the film on a ledge of a skyscraper pretending he wants to commit suicide. So as to distract attention away from the robbery of the diamond.

I do have to say the actual robbery part is rather dull their are only so many times I can see people suspended on wires so as not to activate pressure sensors on the floor, as well as other break in methods that have been done to death. However apart from those scenes the rest of the movie is very clever, it has plenty of action. And it uses the ledge plot device very well indeed.

Sam Worthington for once shows he can act beyond the general scowl that he usually does. Jamie Bell is a big surprise looking and sounding vastly different from his Billy Elliott role. As for Genesis Rodriguez it was clear she was only in it for the hot girl in skimpy lingerie moment, a role I have to say she played very well indeed. Ed Harris was good as a villain although he does look a bit like an ancient Egyptian mummy. Special mention must go to Elizabeth Banks who played Lydia Mercer a police negotiator. I think if it was not for her role the scenes on the ledge would have been a lot less sparky.

If you like your action smart and well written this is the movie for you.

I give this movie a 7 out of 10

Do the Affects of Revenge Ever End?

Revenge always leads to tragedy, no matter if the revenge is morally right or wrong. Revenge is an evil that can slowly build up and possess someone to do things him /her normally wouldn’t. Hamlet serves as a great testament to these things. In Hamlet’s culture he was morally right in seeking revenge on Claudius for killing his father, but did this revenge end up going the way Hamlet originally planned and how did the buildup of this evil affect Hamlet throughout the play?

Hamlet’s culture is responsible for the way Hamlet seeks revenge in the play: “Hamlet is the product of a culture that knew a truth beyond all the confusions and diversities of life. It is certainly logical to look at him in terms of that truth. If it be insisted that we today are too far away from it, then we must be too far away from Hamlet as well, who would survive as a relic of the past and of nothing else” (Davis 3). In other words, Davis believes that Hamlet showed truth in his madness and our generation today would not go to the extent of which Hamlet did to avenge his family, as so this makes our generation today “untruthful” in a sense. If revenge is looked at today it can be seen that it is a waste of time and always ends up wrong, but in Hamlet’s time it was a duty to avenge family. The ghost or Hamlet’s father in the play wants to be avenged and how can a son deny his father something so honorable: “So art thou to revenge, when thou shall hear” (line 8). Once the Ghost tells Hamlet that his father was murdered by Claudius, the fire is lit and Hamlet is set on revenge.

Hamlet’s determination possesses him and makes him perform duties of which he doesn’t want to perform: “My purpose in bringing all this in is to demonstrate the attitude of Hamlet toward a duty which he does not want to perform, but which honor, circumstances, and chance all require that he perform whether he like it or not” (Davis 43). Hamlet’s emotions come out and you start to see the revenge taking control: “By asking why Hamlet is aroused to react in turn with fear, desire, contempt, and disgust—not only towards Gertrude, but also towards Ophelia and the Ghost—I hope to show that Hamlet’s “problems” lie in his epistemological dilemma spurred by the material manifestations of “the inexpressibly horrible” (Kumamato 48). In the play Hamlet’s mentality has been changed in order for him to carry out these acts. He has turned ruthless and full of anger and expresses it as such by telling Ophelia: “get thee to a nunnery” (3.1 118). In other word’s Hamlet is calling Ophelia a whore and directly shows his determination in seeking revenge.

Hamlet seems to grow with evil throughout the play and most critics wonder if it has anything to do with the Ghost’s command over him: “Elizabethan ghosts, we are told, could be good or evil / The moral ambivalence of the Ghost’s command is made quite explicit it admits that murder, which is what it seeks, is even in, the best, most foul, Furthermore, the motives for the revenge it seeks are largely private there are many lines of heartfelt anguish at the adulterous relationship between Gertrude and Claudius” (Hughes 395). The Ghost seems to make Hamlet believe that murder will solve everything and that he must kill Claudius to avenge his father, but what if the Ghost is actually the Devil trying to manipulate Hamlet? This would explain a lot of things because someone’s father would not push revenge so hard even back in Hamlet’s era.

Hamlet was so overwhelmed with revenge that his safe plan of killing Claudius spins out of control. At first Hamlet was like okay, I’m not going to let this get out of control, I’m going to make the killing clean and prove Claudius’s guilt first, but it didn’t turn out the way he planned. Hamlet proves Claudius’s guilt and spots him kneeling and praying while on the way to his mother’s chambers, Hamlet contemplates how easy it would be to just plunge a sword into his back and let things be over with, but Hamlet feels that this would be a benefit instead of revenge as Claudius would go to heaven: “Now might I do it pat, now is a-praying / And now I’ll do’t – and so goes to heaven” (3.3 72-73). Instead of killing Claudius and being through with the murder, Hamlet decides to wait. Hamlet must give Claudius more of a death than the crime Claudius committed: “The revenge killing requires craft because it must equal the outrage of the original crime and satisfy the revenger’s intense feelings” (Brucher 257). Hamlet’s madness wants him to be satisfied in killing Claudius and leave him with a sense that payback has been served. Once Hamlet arrives in his mother’s chambers he hears Polonius cry out from the drapes and mistakes him for Claudius and kills him. This just goes to show that revenge never ends because if Hamlet would have just killed Claudius in the alley then more people would not have to die.

Claudius is now trying to get rid of Hamlet and plans to kill him in a “friendly” sword fight, but Claudius has a few tricks up his sleeve. Claudius has poisoned the tip of Laertes’ blade and poisoned a drink that he will offer to Hamlet. Hamlet refused the drink and Gertrude unknowingly drinks it, which results in killing her. Hamlet then kills Claudius and Laertes. Hamlet is now left alone and drinks the poison and also dies. This goes to show that revenge always leads in tragedy. Hamlet got corrupted with vengeance which led to the ultimate never ending ride of tragedy: “It is a play about vengeance and how avengers lose their souls, sin, and corrupt in turn” (Lidz 33).

In conclusion, revenge always ends up spiraling out of control and into tragedy. It will start off with a nice plan of action, but will always end up going wrong. Hamlet started off with a plan of action, but his vengeance led him into getting more innocent people killed, including his mother. Revenge never has a designated area to stop and when it does stop the damage has already been done. Revenge always leads into corruption and greed: “Any satisfaction a man may derive from punishing his enemy is more than outweighed by the utter misery he brings on himself” (Prosser 11). Hamlet’s madness ultimately leads him to destroy himself and others; twice the damage was dealt than originally because Hamlet acted with such vengeance and anger. Hamlet finally admits his madness in the end with an apology to Laertes: “Give me your pardon, sir / I have done you wrong, but pardon’t as you are a gentleman / This presence knows and you must needs have heard / How I am punished with a sore distraction / What I have done / That might your nature, honor and exception, roughly awake, I here proclaim was madness” (5.2 90-96). Hamlet is too late in realizing his madness in the end, however for tragedy has already struck. This all goes to show that revenge never truly ends and when it does tragedy has already struck, so revenge is truly a dish best served cold and should only be pursued with no outside factors or influences.

Presentation Outline

I. Hamlet’s revenge ultimately leads to his demise.

A. Hamlet is defended in going for revenge by his culture moral ideas. Arthur Davis says in one of his books that “Hamlet is the product of a culture that knew a truth beyond all the confusions and diversities of life. It is certainly logical to look at him in terms of that truth. If it be insisted that we today are too far away from it, then we must be too far away from Hamlet as well, who would survive as a relic of the past and of nothing else” (Davis 3) In other words, Davis believes that Hamlet showed truth in his madness and our generation today would not go to the extent of which Hamlet did to avenge his family.

B. It is great that Hamlet is standing up for the morals of his era, but to what extent does revenge stop and when it does isn’t the damage already dealt?

Hamlet grows with evil throughout the play and some critics have an explanation of why. Geoffrey Hughes believes that the Ghost is just a tool of the Devil and manipulated Hamlet to act the way he does. “Elizabethan ghosts, we are told, could be good or evil / The moral ambivalence of the Ghost’s command is made quite explicit it admits that murder, which is what it seeks, is even in, the best, most foul,” (Hughes 257).

So as this influence of revenge fires up Hamlet, his plan of making the killing of Claudius sort of clean cut, changes. Instead of killing Claudius while he is praying when it would be so easy to do he decides to wait and kill Claudius when he is sinning that way, he would not go to heaven. Hamlet’s mistake of not killing Claudius here results in the killing of two more innocent people including himself, Polonius and Gertrude. Richard Brucher says “The revenge killing requires craft because it must equal the outrage of the original crime and satisfy the revenger’s intense feelings” (Brucher 257). He stabs Polonius behind the drapes and Gertrude mistakenly drinks the poison and Hamlet decides to drink the poison as well to get rid of the misery. So is revenge really worth chasing after? You never know when it’s going to end and when it does tragedy has already struck.

Having mastered those two little detail, let us now explore two other things you can go that can ensure your GOING HOME WITH YOUR MAN each time, every time… and making it last.

Rule #3: Understand Love

Love is when a guy cares for you and you care for him back; love is when you can’t wait from the instant you part until you can see each other again. Love is when you can’t keep your hands (or mouths) off of each other; or when you can’t stop exchanging gifts, because you care that much for each other. Right?

WRONG!!!

Love is a decision, a choice… and the actions you take because of it. Too often you find an average woman thinking or believing that love has anything to do with how you feel about the other guy. But this is a hugely dangerous premise because if love were a feeling, it would be doomed to fail – just like all those other human feelings and emotions that change with the circumstance, or that get sated. Hunger, anger, fear, pleasure… all these are fleeting human stimuli that are no more than mere secretion of chemicals in the body. The emotions are gone the instant the chemicals stop flowing. It would be such a shame basing an entire life on a choice that was made based on a fluid that flowed for a brief and passing moment in the human body. Love is supposed to last forever has got to be a lot more than that.

Love is when you consider all the pluses and minuses to be had in your man, and you DECIDE that you are going to be with him whether they add up or not. Love is when everything adds up wrong and you CHOOSE to still be in that relationship/marriage irrespective of the science behind it. Love is going the distance despite the hurts or challenges you may encounter along the way. Love is knowing that the same man who makes you most happy and so starry-eyed today WILL one day hurt you so badly you’d could kill him and then yourself; love is knowing that when that day comes you will still OPT to go on with it. Love is committing that you are going to be by his side through thick and thin, and you are going to help him be all that he can be!

It’s heavy, I know, but its truth. Love is courage; love is faith; love is IN SPITE OF, not BECAUSE OF; love is strength. This is why genuine love cannot fail, because it looks out for the bad times and the failures and deals with them when they occur, not quitting.

You do not have to “give it up” to every guy you spend the time of day with, but you need to at least love them a little. The average person on the street will consider it giving too much of yourself, but I call it stooping to conquer, since you are stronger and better because of it… And when you do decide to be with that someone, your marriage/relationship is going to be that much stronger because of it.

Rule #4: Learn To Forgive

You know, when you don’t forgive someone, you aren’t hurting them; you’re hurting you. Really, they go around not knowing that you’re having such misgivings about them, sometimes not even knowing that you still exist at all. Sometimes, such folks actually know that they have hurt you and go around proud or unhappy about it, but the sad part is that you actually still use up all of your energy holding on to all that negative emotion, hurting the people around you because you have chosen not to forgive. And so you find it impossible to learn how to trust again. It drains you – unforgiveness; it makes you bitter and difficult to be or have around. But if instead you understand that the other person is human and they are bound to make mistakes at some point – just as you are human also and bound to make your own mistakes as well – you’ll be able to let go of all ills, big or small. This way, your relationships will not have to hit the rocks every time one of you hurts the other. Simple, controversial… but true.

There are a truckload of other dos and don’ts anyone can come up with, but I’d be surprised if any of them trump these simple truths. The problem is we keep trying to be smart and independent, moral and upright; but if humanity has proven anything about these things over the course of history, it’s that smart and moral tend to fail, but sacrificial doesn’t.

I am a guy; and possibly my views may not be views you readily agree with, but if you gave them a try they just might work for you as they have for my wife and I. I used them with her and they worked; I USE them with her and they work! And I guarantee that if you are sincere about bearing these words in mind with a view to doing the right thing, you will end up GOING HOME WITH YOUR MAN each time, every time!

Have you ever felt tongue-tied or be unable to think clearly when you was around a woman who you admired? You are not alone. Apparently quite a lot of men who suddenly become dumb when interacting, even just by thinking, of a woman.

It is probably something to do with the efforts of a man in attracting the opposite sex. Unlike the majority of women who are more concerned with their physical appearance, the men are generally trying to look smart or funny in front of the woman he loved.

“The man so busy thinking about what the sentence will say next or how to make the woman in front of him impressed. All it takes skill sense,” says lead researcher Sanne Nauts. These efforts tend to be harder if a woman which assessed very interesting.

Interestingly, these momentary brain deadlock was not experienced by the women. According Nauts, it relates to the theory of evolution. Naturally men have the urge to show the opposite sex that he is the most superior man which can be selected.

The theory was proven by Nauts try through a study involving 71 male and female students which asked to complete a series of simple questions to measure their intelligence. During the charging process about that, either male or female, were told that they were observed by a colleague of the opposite sex.

Although the students did not know what the female students observed of them, in fact it can make them nervous, so their ability to answer questions declined 14 percent. Contrary with the female students, they are still capable of doing his duties despite it said that the opposite sex observed them.

People constantly enter and exit our lives. The ones with heart touch ours, no matter how often we see them or how long we've known them. Knowing him was an honor.

I could be in the worst of moods that morning, afternoon, but when I saw his mail truck followed by a puff of smoke I would smile. ” You and your stinky cigars!” I’d say to him. He’d chuckle or smile. Hey he liked his cigars. Some days the weather would be terrible. I wasn’t leaving the house to go slushing around in the gloom of rain, sleet or snow…Sometimes on these despised days I would hear a knock at the door. My dog would growl, bark at him but nonetheless there was Bill, wet, cold and smiling. He handed me my mail while my crazed dog snapped in the air at him. I’d be annoyed for a moment. Couldn’t he just simply leave the mail in the mail box? Couldn’t he see that my dog was nuts? I sure would skip my house. ”Thank you.”, I’d say. ”Have a nice day, Eve.”. Despite the rain or wind or snow or my sometimes lack of path to my door in knee high snow, he would find a way. I appreciated this. I’d close the door and inevitably smile. He was a happy person. As I would close the door behind him, my envelopes of bills in hand, I’d watch him wave at another neighbor or go right up to them and send greetings their way as well. Sometimes I’d be walking to the bus stop to pick up my daughter with my crying son and there he would be at the corner taking a puff or two… “you smell like my dad”, I’d yell at him jokingly of course. My dad smokes cigars too. One of our numerous conversations we shared in passing. He always inquired about my son as I passed him. He could have simply waived us on. Now I’ll miss his glowing energy on a gloomy day and quick chats on my way to the mailbox or bus stop. He forced you to take a moment and share a kind word or a quick kind gesture even if you thought you wanted to be left alone. When he left, you realized you welcomed the break from life. You were left smiling despite the unpaid bills in your hand. They were just paper, Bill the mailman was all heart. Now with him gone… What can I say? What would do such a man of pure greatness justice? Surely he was, ‘is’ loved by his family and friends. He was the mailman. I saw him less than 5 minutes a day. When he was off and someone else delivered the mail early, it felt all wrong. I really did not know much about him and perhaps it’s wrong of me to write this but I feel in his passing I must thank him. He was much more than a man in a mail truck. If he touched my life in a way by just delivering mail and offering a kind gesture, imagine how he touched those truly dear and close to his heart. I was lucky enough to have him as my mail man. He was more than mere man. Energy, heart and soul was indeed he. How I wish I could have seen him one last time to just smile at him as he shook his head at my crazy dog and wished me fair well as he drove away to a better place. One day if we are lucky enough we will see you again. Fair well, my friend.
