Not a game you sit down and play with other people.

I like to play a game. I like to call this game “The Manipulation Game”. You play by manipulating other people. Manipulation is a valuable life skill and this game will help build that skill. This game takes confidence, an ability to lie, questionable ethics, and an ability to hide stuff from others.

You start by finding minor things that you want to change. Your a kid and want an extra cookie? I’m sure you can get it. All you have to do is create an argument for it (A long argument should work, but try to think it out). By creating logical arguments and small lies you can get anything. There is more and the previous statement should not be taken literally.

The above part is fairly easy. This is the complicated and fun part. You must fool people into thinking you aren’t manipulating them. People must “read” you like a book. To create an effective cover you must live this cover. You must keep your manipulating colors hidden. People think I couldn’t tell a lie if my life depended on it. This is partially true, in card games I can’t bluff at all, and I actually do hate lying. In reality I can lie incredibly well, I’m not proud of it, but I can tell anyone anything, especially over the Internet.

But of course the point of every game is to have fun, and in this game “fun” happens to be a massive rush. To truly have fun with this you have to drop hints that you are playing. Take risks, I told people some stuff to be honest. Now people think I am an honest person. If that went wrong people would wonder what else I had hiding.

Of course I don’t actually use this as my way to manipulate people. In my life I just manipulate. This kind of stuff becomes natural and you do it unconsciously. If I told you how I manipulated people I would have no more fun. Work on your skills at manipulating and maybe I will be caught on your hook one day.

DISCLAIMER: I wrote this for entertainment purposes and to just write something because my views were going down. This is completely fictional and I do not advocate manipulating anyone or breaking the law in anyway. I am not responsible for any trouble you get yourself into. I am not responsible for any harm you may have caused to yourself or those around you by following this guide.

P.S. You lost the game.

The American People Want Results, Not Excuses. Whoopi Goldberg Help!

This probably sounds like harping at this point. There have been a multitude of television, radio shows and articles both paper, book and electronic that have discussed this topic. The public opinion has been subject to many different venues. We are tired of our leaderships taking the route most traveled and winding up in the same spot, penniless and jobless.

That’s right, we need jobs. What are the major indicators? When the statisticians have to manipulate the numbers to show a positive outcome is a major one. When the flash-mobs start organizing criminal activities is another. When people give up on looking for a job because they have been out of work for more than 2 years, this one is just the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back.

We need jobs, how much more proof is needed for this one? We need more sources of revenue. The FAA is up and running but for how long? Legalizing illicit drugs would be a great source of revenue. We have lost the war on drugs, it’s time to stop punishing people for their destructive coping skills by putting another burden on the economy by placing them in jail instead of tax supported rehab facilities they paid for with their own bad habit. The prison systems are overrun with people who have not committed a violent crime, they just need a legal way to deal with their self-destructive coping skills and throwing them in jail hinders this process.

It’s time to give the illegal aliens a tax number. So they can pay into the system they chose to try for the naturalization process in support of our government that can’t keep them out. How about giving those illegal’s that are not violent criminals a grandfather clause so that there are no repercussions for how they came here, just so they have the opportunity to do the jobs we refuse to take on and pay taxes. The illegal aliens are not taking the jobs we want; they take the ones we are overqualified for like garbage men, waitress or dishwasher.

Gay marriages should be part of the norm, yes the majority of people are heterosexual but this fact should not omit the other fringe factor of society just because the homosexuals, transsexuals, and others that have a sexual difference whether from preference or genetic mapping to have the basic rights of the rest of the population. How many people are not paying a licensing fee for marriage because someone feels uncomfortable?

We need to take back our heritage of honor and ingenuity now, while the old ways and traditions have failed us this is our wake up call for change. True change and not just going from one political party decision to the other but thinking outside the box. Bringing in more of the population fringe element by legalizing gay marriage, legalizing illicit drugs, generating an easier protocol for illegal aliens to go through the naturalization process will create more jobs, more revenue and a healthier inclusive perspective for the citizenry of this great nation.

This is our country, but our government leaders haven’t gotten the message yet. We will not take their excuses and blaming anymore. If you decide to go down this route you are dooming this system to fail. Let’s face facts, if our government and whole society doesn’t collapse it still doesn’t look promising for the current leaders because more likely than not they will be voted out of office. No one wants to hear excuses for why the system is failing; we want to hear what is being done to promote more jobs and revenue therefore stability.

Try another route, we need to see some actions from our leaders that show the ability to adapt to different situations and are more inclusive instead of the same old excuses for why the whole situation is locked into a downward spiral towards collapse. These are just a few ideas from two people sitting together for a healthy discussion on the topic at hand.

We need some comedians to start working these topics into a stand-up routine that brings a higher comfort level for the majority so that more people will join in a can-do or let’s-do perspective instead of everyone just complaining. Whoopi Goldberg can you help out Washington? How many jokes can you make from this article? Whether you are for or against the topics brought up, or if you have other options you would like to explore, please speak up and get the ball rolling.

Relationships between people, as my experience has shown us, can be very complex. This rarely happens because two people want the same thing at the same time.Hence conflicts arise and attempt to induce the other to do what you you want. Often this conflict is hidden or permanently unconscious people involved.

But this is not beneficial. The best approach is rational in that you agree to make compromises and try to find creative solutions that have all won. Usually, though, things do not happen that way. We want those around us to see the world in how we see. Therefore we try to manipulate, control people around us. Shostrom described these types of handling:

1.	By authority . Try to control others by giving them commands by virtue of its authority, a position he has in relationship to social status. Such a person believes he knows what is right and what to do.

2.	The weakness . Such a person is against authority control and using its weakness. Sometimes “Lost,” “I do not understand”, “Can not do that”, “The pressure is too high” are very effective ways to dodge you control others. This is passive aggression.

3.	The intellect . Such a person sees the world as a smart contest. Constantly pushing it, trying to convince, to seduce him and trick others.

4.	By submission . Such a person wants others to care for it to be addictive, and loyal subject. Behaving like a nice kid, full of gratitude and helpless, I cause others to do a lot for it.

5.	By force .Others are intimidated and made to act as desired by threats, anger, brutality. These are typical ways to manipulate both men and women. What can you do if you feel manipulated? First you must realize this problem and try not to be so dependent on each other. Try to figure out how to make your way alone, things are really important to you. Try to regain confidence in their abilities.

What should you do if you are the person handlingmost common ways to try to influence others are: - to explain rationally the need for change; - in brutally ask someone to change, always remember and ask them to do so as soon as possible - ask others to support the proposals that we have; - get over someone’s head to get support from a person with greater authority; - negotiate so to get at least some of what we want. What methods you use the type of personality. ”Dictators” are brutal, aggressive, they will not accept them say no (if necessary will resort to threats).

Rational will be based on facts, arguments, will plan carefully and make compromises. Those who want to board will be active in trying to influence others, but try to be diplomatic, and personal charm to win because of the flattery. The last category is that of people withdrawn try not engage in any controversy.

Evaluation of the work you very much our social capabilities, how we collaborate with others. Usually people aggressive, brutal are the worst seen, even if we accept that business is competitive. Best rational people are seen (if you’re male) and nice people or withdrawn (if you’re female). Important not only get what you want, but how you manage it.

Try, whether you’re male or female, to make rational use of the techniques to try to force your will. By using negotiation, persuasion, you can rely on receiving approval from others and not always you have to resume work to try to force your point of view.

A quick look into how reverse psychology works.

Aha! You clicked!

You have been the victim of what is popularly known as Reverse Psychology, the act of telling someone not to do something in order to get them to do it.

You’ve all seen it, a parent telling their young child “Don’t sit there!” in order to get them to sit there. “Eat that cookie!”, so that they think it’s a punishment. You’ve probably even used it yourself in one form or another, to get your defiant friends/siblings/relatives to do what you want them to do, by making them think it’s their idea in the first place.

Reverse Psychology doesn’t work all the time however, as the more obedient people will usually follow what another person says. It tends to work usually on disobedient or defiant people, as they tend to do the opposite of what you tell them to do.

It can be really quite useful in specific situations; I’ve used it plenty of times to get my younger siblings to give me what I want, regardless of what they first thought of the item in question.

As for being on the receiving end of Reverse Psychology; when I’m told not to do something without an explanation why, I’m always burning with curiosity to find out more about the subject in question.

Just don’t tell me not to do my homework, as I’ll be in ecstasy, jumping for joy, and probably lighting something on fire to celebrate (most likely the aforementioned homework).

I suppose the reason why you, and why I, would have also clicked on this article was my curiosity. What could he have wrote about? Why did he feel the need to make the title rather barren?

Perhaps to get you to click on it.

A very comprehensive and thorough analysis of the Russian revolution that begins from the coronation of Nicholas II to his abdicaiton in 1917.

Year 11 – Oral Assessment Task – The Decline and Fall of the Romanov’s

Autocracy in Russia

      Alexander III

o Seeds of the initial problems of autocracy were sown by Alexander the III and elaborated upon by Nicholas II (son)

§ Nation was illiterate, uneducated, attacked from foreign powers on all flanks

§ Alexander III failed to adjust Russia’s government to the changing realities of the 19th century

Ruled with support – bureaucracy, autocracy, religious orthodoxy

Joined Black Hundreds in 1905 – Unit causes of Russian Nationalists and anti-Semites

      October 20, 1894 – Nicholas II power

      Social Structure (pyramid)

o 85% peasants

§ Largely illiterate

§ Religious

§ Superstitious

§ Highly conservative

§ Serfs – virtual slaves, no personal freedom

· Emancipated by Alexander II

· Personal freedom, purchase land from nobles (redemption)

o Rest of society

§ 2 million nobles

§ 700,000 merchants and professionals

§ 350,000 clergy

§ 14 million urban workers

§ 100 million peasants

§ Landowners, army officers, government officials, bureaucrats, clergy, professional, merchants, traders, businessman, small working class (10%)

o Power distributed unfairly.

      Government

o 1613 – Romanov’s rule

o Tsar

§ Absolute power

§ Exercised supreme and unlimited executive, legislative and judicial power

§ Two advisory bodies

· State council

· Senate

§ People had no say in government, parliament, no political parties, no means of debate

§ Ministry of the interior, police, army kept order, whilst orthodox church – obedience and a better life in the next world

The personality of Nicholas II – Not born to be a politician, let alone the Tsar of Russia

Born on May 1868 in Tsarskow Selo, the eldest son of Tsar Alexander III

o Became Tsar of Russia in 1894

      Alexander III (Father)

§ Suffered abuse from his father

§ “…bullied and treated him as if he were a child…”

§ “…pelting him at dinner with bread balls…”

§ “Whereas Alexander III was diligent, mentally strong and was willing to work for what he wanted, Nicholas was weak, lazy and willing for others to do the work for him” (Historylearningsite 2010)

Princess Alexandra of Hesse-Darmstardt (wife) was a decisive factor in shaping Nicholas II political views

o Devoted Nationalist, despised those who favoured Western style democracy (liberal ideas, freedom of speech, voting)

o Convinced him “to resist ever-growing calls for increased democracy within Russia.” (BBC n.d.)

o Alexander II “inability or unwillingness to prepare his son Nicholas at an early age to rule as absolute autocrat” (Alexander Palace Time Machine 2010)

o Cummins “dominated by his manipulative wife, a highly emotional and bigoted woman, whose increasing interference in government affairs wad ultimately a disaster for Russia”

      Family

o “He did not care for anything or anyone except for his sons and perhaps his daughters” (Alexander Palace Time Machine 2010)

      Power

o Not fell ready to rule

o Lacked the experience and abilities to rule

o Despite inadequacies, God chose him

§ Deeply Religious

§ Russian Orthodox Church

Constantly mislead and bullied by relatives, leading him to his reliance on his wife

Cynical, mistrustful view of human nature = sad, desolate life

      Lacked political savvy and instinct

o “He found it impossible to reconcile his own strict views of what was right and wrong for Russia with the responsibility of a modern monarch to compromise his own views for the good of the nation.” (Alexander Palace Time Machine 2010)

o “…into the awful job I have feared all my life” (Nicholas II)

Navy minister (nautical analogy) – “what will be the course of the ship of state…the lord only knows”

      642,2327, p.4,March 14, 1901, Ts.S. (diary entry)
“… We go on enjoying ourselves here…

Opinions of historians and the historiography of the topic

No other topic in history that has been more distorted by political historiography than the Russian revolution

Professor Edward Acton in his 1990 book – Rethinking the Russian Revolution states there are four traditions of interpretation (Orthodox Soviet view, Liberal, Libertarian (left), revisionism)

      Orthodox Soviet View

o Soviet state aimed to emphasise Lenin’s genius

o Historical inevitability

o Bolsheviks perfect leadership – class conflict -> overthrow of capitalist exploitation by the part representing progressive socialism -> dictatorship of the proletariat

o Evidence was used to support this view and others that contradicted were discarded

      Liberal

o Contradiction of Soviet interpretation

o Revolution was pure coincidence from a disastrous war, abysmal leadership, incompetent politicians

o Politics, historical figures in events

o Bolsheviks – ruthless, conspirators, fanatics, exploited chance to seize power

      Libertarian

o Aspirations of the people who were betrayed by the Bolsheviks

o Masses swept away Tsarism, Bolsheviks crushed the masses

o Unprofessional work, did not gain much acceptance

      Revisionism

o Economical, social, institutional aspects of revolution

o Aspirations of men and women at the political parties

o Tsarist economy

o Dynamics of popular unrest under Nicholas II

o Drama of 1917

Russia at war 1904-1917

      Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905)

o Expand to the Far East into Manchuria and Korea, opposed by Japan

§ Japan would recognise Russia in Manchuria

§ Russia would recognise Japan in Korea

§ Failure in negotiations

o February 6th Japan lays siege to Port Arthur

§ Nicholas stunned, enthusiasm and patriotic loyalty of the people cheered and provided support

§ 28,000 Russian losses

o Battle of Mukden 1905

§ 89,000 losses

o Russian Baltic fleet

§ Completely annihilated

§ “Ripped apart by the accuracy of the Japanese gunnery, crippled by high-speed torpedo boats…” (Tames 1972)

o Effects

§ “…it had been inconceivable that with the size of their forces the Russians would lose” (Cummins 1996)

§ Racial views of Asian power

§ Wounded image of the impregnability of Russia – government, people, global

§ Major factor of the 1905 revolution

      World War I (1914-1917)

§ Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand assassinated by Serb on 28th June 1914

§ Russian Foreign Minister “This means war in Europe” (Austrian Ultimatum to Serbia, 23 July)

§ Darby “Nicholas did not want war in 1914; Russia was not ready, and would not be so until the completion of the military programme in 1917.”

§ Tames “…greeted with an upsurge of patriotic fervour”

§ Tames “….regarded as a Holy Crusade against the Germans”

§ Lenin commented in 1913 that war in Europe would be helpful for a revolution “but it is hardly possible that Franz Josef and Nicky would give us this pleasure”

§ Darby “Strike almost ceased and mobilisation went smoothly. All were united to beat the Germans…”

o The Russian Steam-Roller

§ Pre-war – 1.4 million, mobilisation + 3.1 million reserves

§ Unprepared for war, lacked munitions, weapons, training, discipline

§ Heavy industry too small to equip army – 6.5 million men by November, 4.6 million rifles

· General Belaiev reported “In recent battles a third of the men had no rifles…wait patiently until their comrades fell before their eyes and they could pick up weapons. The army is drowning in its own blood”

§ Suffered large-scale defeats at Tannenburg and Masurian Lakes

§ First six months were satisfactory, next sex were disastrous.

· Russians were pushed out of Galicia – 200-300 miles

· 4 million killed, wounded, captured

o Nicholas Takes Command

§ August 22 1915- Nicholas appointed himself Commander in Chief of the Army. This meant that he put himself in the position to be blamed for the heavy losses on the battlefield as well as the disorder at home. This lead to the Russian people becoming increasingly dissatisfied.

§ 1915 – Educated classes had become disaffected, 1916 joined by homeless people and proletarians

· Economic –shortage of food, fuel and high prices

· Collapse of the rail network

· Requirements of the army

· Hoarding of grain by peasants

· Darby “the ordinary inhabitant is condemned to a half stared existence”

§ Tsar left his country for the front line leaving it in the hands of his wife Alexandra and Rasputin

· Alexandra and Rasputin’s effect- changed ministers, ‘ministerial leapfrog (changing ministers frequently)’

· Darby “anyone who showed some independence of mind was replaced by someone whom the empress and Rasputin liked”

The 1905 Revolution – Culmination of issues within Russia which culminated into a revolution

Frustration and anger was created by the loss against the –

o Russo Japanese war defeat

o Famines in 1897, 1898, 1901

o Land distribution issues

o Poor living & working conditions

o Frustration of radical political parties to take power

o Growth of politically impotent middle class

      Bloody Sunday

o Sunday January 9 – Father Gapon amassed a movement to petition to the Tsar for reform and to grant Russia a parliament

o Gapon then led a march towards the winter palace without the Tsar’s knowledge.

o The peaceful protest was turned around when panicking elements of the army fired upon the people.

o 1,000 of the 150,000 protesters were killed in the attack according to contemporaries

§ Police – 200 killed 800 wounded

o Sir Charles Hardinge “…the order to fire was given. The fact that the troops were at the distance of only of only 20 yards from the crowd…results were appalling”

o Clements “The Cossacks rode right into the crowd and slashed with their sabres like madmen”

      Effects

o January 1905 – St. Petersburg strike, peasants rebel against landlords

o February 1905 – Tsar’s uncle Grand Duke Sergi is assassinated by SR

o June 1905 – Mutiny on Battleship Potemkin (poor treatment and conditions for sailors)

o June, July 1905 – Trade Unions & political organisations establish people from professional class form Union of Unions

§ Union of liberation, zemstva form Kadet party – 400,000 strike

o Nicholas “It makes me sick to read the news…strikes in schools and factories, murdered policeman, Cossack riots”

o August 1905 – Promise of a Duma, rejected by most Liberals and population

o September, October 1905 – General strike, brought country to its knees.

§ Soviets coordinated strikes, exercising more power than city government

      Witte

o Best administrator to the Tsar, immensely helped Russia’s economy and industry by reaping millions to the treasury. Gave Russia its first constitution and parliament.

      October Manifesto

o Nicholas abandoned plans for a military dictatorship and appointed Witte as his Prime Minister

o Due to Witte’s advice Nicholas issued an imperial manifesto (17th October) which promised; Fundamental Civil Liberties, the franchise to all classes and that all future laws would require approval from the State Duma

      Peasants Manifesto- late 1905

o Comprised of genuine land reform

§ Each peasant got their own land- no landowners

§ Cancelled all past debt

§ No corporal punishment

      The End of the Revolution

o After Witte’s success in gaining support for constitutional and financial reform he moved to ensure the loyalty of the army by having the Tsar loyalists in the army purge suspected rebels.

o Nicholas supported counter-revolutionary groups like the black hundreds who purged the Jews

o General strike crushed in Moscow due to 1000 people killed

o After a year the Tsar government suppressed all revolutionary activity with the use of the army

      Nicholas and the Duma 1906-1914

Failure of Nicholas II negligence to get rid of his autocratic powers with a Duma led to his downfall

17 October 1905, violence receded, Nicholas II regained initiative on political matters

o Elected through universal male suffrage

Britannica “elected legislative body that, along with the State Council, constituted the imperial Russian legislature from 1906 until its dissolution at the time of the March 1917 Revolution”

Fundamental laws – rendered Duma ‘toothless advisory body’

o Did not comply with October Manifesto

§ Veto legislative measures

§ Dissolve the duma prior to its five-year term

§ Article 87 – Tsar could legislate by decree during emergencies, Duma could not pass laws without the agreement of Tsar and Imperial Council

§ Nicholas II “I have a constitution in my head, but as to my heard, I spit on it”

o Tsar – administration of Europe, determined all foreign policies, commanded armed forces, appointed all ministers, declare a state of emergency

      First Duma

o Neither conservative nor revolutionary, 478 deputies elected

§ Kadets, Non-partisans (peasants), Socialists (SRS & SD), Trudoviki, Progressives of Peasants Representatives, Poles, Octoberists

o Constantly undermined, denied and effective role in government

o Cummins “…little more than an impotent debating society”

o US ambassador Abraham Ascher“…members of the Duma in every conceivable costume, the peasants in rough clothes and long boots, merchants and trade people…”

o Dissolved within ten weeks

      Second Duma

o February 1907 – 3months

o Prime Minister Stolypin, taken over Ivan Goremykin, aided in passing the laws

o More radical than the first

      Third and Fourth Duma

o 1907-1912

o Hampered by assassination of Stolypin by Soviet Revolutionaries, reactionary policies of the Tsar/Imperial council

o WWI

Repression and Reform in Russia 1906-1914

Stolypin – After 1905 revolution, Russia underwent a period of Repression and Reform headed mainly by the Prime Minister of Russia

o Initially appointed as Chief Minister, 1906 soon took over Ivan Goremykin as Prime Minister (Tsar’s right hand man)

o Energetic man – Cummins “…who understood better than many of his contemporaries the problems facing Russia”

o Devoted to Tsar’s autocracy – initially ruled by decree to consolidate law and order to strengthen repression, before May 1917, ordered ‘Stolypin’s necktie’ reducing the number of Terrorist attacks.

§ Twin Tasks – restoring order and instigating reform

Reforms – Helped to improve the life of the peasants

o Hannah Had the potential to “…have set the Russian empire on a course of relatively peaceful change”

o Tames “Stolypin’s strategy was to suppress violence and simultaneously introduce reforms which would end all reasonable grievances”

o ‘Sober and Strong’ New land law 9 November 1906 – Create class of prosperous, conservative, independent farmers (Kulaks), pay land outright

§ McCauley “…peasants will be granted the right to leave the commune freely….obtain part of the communal land stock as their own property”

§ 1914 – 9 million peasants owned their own land

§ Allowed more foreign investment for more railways, coal & iron production

o Prompted voluntary migration to Siberia to alleviate hunger 1907-1909

Knowing who your true friends are can be tough, especially if you’re younger. However, follow these steps and you’ll know exactly who are your true friends and who are not.

While we are always surrounded by people that we treat nicely and we hang out with all the time, they might not truly support you and your opinions. For example, the people that you work with everyday may not really consider you as their friends.

First of all, the basics. This may seem like an obvious one, but study your “friends” to see if they are nice to you. See if they are always nice to you no matter what you do. This doesn’t mean that you should provoke them, however, to see if they still would be nice to you.

Check to see if they notice small things about you. This doesn’t mean that you should get a new hair style and see if they notice. Act a little differently around them every once in a while to see if they notice. If they notice, then that means they probably consider you a friend and they are wondering what’s making you act differently. However, if they don’t notice, then try to make yourself a little bit more noticeable.

See if they actually care about you. For example, whenever you get hurt, do they care about you? Do they ask how you’re doing every now and then? Or, do they not care and completely disregard the fact that you have been recently injured? While most of us don’t really think about this, this is almost a dead give away to whether your friends are true friends or not.

Pay attention to the respect they give you. This doesn’t mean that they should bow down to you whenever you walk by. However, there are a few questions that you need to ask yourself. Do your friends treat you like trash? Or do they treat you like a human being and act politely to you, and respect you and your beliefs?

Do your friends support you? In this step, there plenty of ways to check and see if your friends support you. For example, if you play an instrument and a concert is coming up, ask your friends to come to the concert. If they come to the concert and cheer you on, then they support you. Fortunately and unfortunately, a fight is always the most effective way to see if your friends are your true friends. If you happen to get in a fight with someone and your friends are around, see if your friends will help by joining in the fight or breaking up the fight. However, if they just stand around and watch, then they aren’t your true friends.

See if your friends are always honest with you. If your friends aren’t honest with you, then you really shouldn’t be wasting your time with them, even if they’re fun to be around. While sometimes it’s hard to tell if someone is lying or not, this is a great way to tell if someone is a true friend or not.

Look for the lack of integrity within your friends. If your friends aren’t real friends, then they always will have a lack of integrity with you. For example, if they promised to do something with you over the weekend but then they say that they are “too busy” then they lack integrity. If they forget to do something with you or they forget to hang out with you, then there’s a lack of integrity.

Check if they are willing to sacrifice their time to be with you. True friends, most of the time, will sacrifice their own time to hang out with you or to help you with something. Fake friends will almost never do this. Fake friends always think that they are more important than you because they aren’t truly your friends. If you sacrifice yourself for your friends more than they do the same for you, then perhaps you shouldn’t be wasting your time on them.

Don’t be manipulated, or used. Fake friends will always try to take advantage of you and your time. They will try to use you for their own benefits. If you start to notice that your friends are starting to use you for their own purposes, then be careful.

Keep these tips in mind whenever you happen to be questioning your friendships.

An effective way to become telepathic. Talk to people via brainwave.

When I became telepathic I was absolutely excited. But I obviously had to work for that ability. It isn’t as you would think. You do not thin something and send it over to someone else and they hear it in their head.

It is more like, you can now alter, or manipulate peoples emotions.

Now, I personally know that no one wants to read long, boring articles so I will try and keep this brief.

To start you must clear your mind. You can do this by just closing them, or staring into space at nothing in particular. Now just think of emotions. This is hard to explain. Just pretend to feel angry or sad etc.

Do this until you think you might have aquired some telepathic ability.

Now find an animal. Animals have a higher brain capacity than humans. Continue with the emotions.

Then do commands. Imagine your animal sitting or lying down. Once they obey, then you will know your telepathic.

Then once you are absolutely certain of your abilities, try this on a human. Do the emotions.

It is good to do this with a person you know well, because you have already established a subliminal connection. This means it will be easier. Once you have used the emotion on them for a while and frequently, ask them curiously if they have been feeling your emotion. Do not blast out and say ” oh my gosh! I am telepathic ” for three reasons-

1. You will close off the connection. Because they think you are crazy.

2. You will never see them again.

3. They will tell everyone they know that you are crazy, and they will tell everyone they know that your crazy etc.

Hope this works for your brain type.

In a world dominated by marketing, images, promotion, and inattention, we have lost touch with what is authentic and humane in our lives. Our culture has become so dominated by selling that it is very difficult to judge who or what is geniune. What can we do to restore authenticity and the good part of humanity in our lives?

The famous historian and former librarian of Congress Daniel Boorstin first remarked on the loss of the authentic in his praised but little read book The Image, which he published in 1961. He commented that our culture then was so corrupted by advertising and marketing that what was real and authentic was getting lost. The means of promotion and manipulation have greatly expanded since his book was published. We not only have radio and television, but we live connected to our networks where we are exposed to a stream of information, most of it created by those with an intent to persuade. The truth is lost in the mass of data we receive.

We surf the Internet, we receive facebook status updates, tweets, RSS feeds, innumerable emails, and then we watch television, listen to the radio, read a magazine, see a movie, or watch streaming video. We have become information addicts as if we might miss something important and forever be left behind because we were not following all current events as they unfold. Analysis is less important that stimulation. Being current more important than having a considered opinion. Boorstin said we live in an age of fabrication where manipulation of events, people, and things were dominant in society. The prepackaged information is now overwhelming us.

What do we mean by the authentic and the real? We mean the actual people, events, or circumstances that constitute an event, place, or community. For instance, the original New Orleans was a raunchy, dirty, libertine, city that had its share of corruption, cultural diversity and tension, wildness, and danger. Now, the old French Quarter is tame and made-up for tourists — a Disney version of its authentic version. What about country music? Is it really the music of the rural south — of Patsy Cline and Jonny Cash. No, the handlers and slick marketers have moved in to package everything to make it seem interesting and genuine, when it has lost its authenticity.

Perhaps it is just the homogenization of the culture that has made illusions more real that the reality they portray. Events are overly scripted. The real seems almost boring and plain where there is so much that is simulated to make it interesting but safe for mass merchandising. It used to be that each town or region of the country had its own unique, genuine identity — now those identities are just in a museum, and the towns are filled with coffee shops, brew pubs, chocolate makers, and wi-fi hotspots. The authentic is nowhere to be found.

Furthermore, through this loss of the authentic, America has lost its American values. Those values used to be unique — self-reliance, independence, a mistrust of government. Now the culture celebrates the selfish, promotional, and the bizarre. The celebrity politicians are fauned over by the media, avnd society turns to government to solve problems — that is a monumental cultural about-face for America.

What is the solution? Not a governmental solution, but a personal one. The marketing culture is already past our doorstep and in our homes through our televisions, blackberries, iPhones, and computers. It is a personal effort to re-connect with and revive what is genuine and authentic in our lives. What values are important, and how can one be an example of them. Much of what is genuine in our society will be lost forever in a culture increasingly commercial, and what can be preserved will be what we control ourselves through our own freedom to choose.

Realistically speaking, money is an important thing in everybody’s life. We need money for almost everything that we want. We need money to buy food, to have to place to stay in, to buy clothes, to sit on a bus and to go to a public toilet. In short, we cannot live our modern way without money.

Luxuries and Pleasures

Most of us engage in some sort of work to earn a living. In other words we work to get money in order to live. Many of us try to get by with whatever money we have but all of us only if we have money. Money can buy almost anything so much so we may think it can even buy happiness. That is where we make the blunder and allow money to rule our lives. That is when money becomes the root of many evils.

Accumulate Wealth

Consider a man who spends most of his time trying to accumulate wealth. He realizes that others are also trying to do the same. How does one grab hold of what others desire too? If wealth cannot be obtained by one way, other ways may be employed, any other way. So this man probably will lie and cheat others to get what he wants. Similarly others will cheat and manipulate him. If this man’s luck holds, he succeeds. Otherwise he falls, picks himself up and tries again. The never ending game continues.

Quest for Money

Thus we read daily about people fighting to get into power. Those in power then make use of their position to line their pockets. Corruption is rife. Funds are embezzled and well-known figures feature in scandals that ‘rock’ society. In this quest for money, many evils are committed. Some leak out into public view, a lot are kept behind closed doors.

A Successful Man

A successful man accumulates his wealth “for the sake of his children.” When he dies, his children fight for the wealth. Brotherly and sisterly love vanishes like a puff of smoke. Lawsuits and physical threats take its place. The dream of one man is shattered by the very objects of his dream. Money controls their lives.

The Sake of More Money

For the sake of more money, a person with enough greed can do almost anything to get it. Many of the means of getting money are not what one would call decent. Banks and goldsmith shops are held up at gun-point. Burglars break into houses. Young thugs extort from innocent victims. Girls sell themselves. Policemen take bribes. Parents gamble their families into poverty.

Unhappiness Breeds

Even the honest ones are not spared the chains thrown around them by money. There are so many employees who slog unhappily day in out at their jobs for their wages. Unhappiness breeds all sorts of tension and frustrations. Productivity drops. Health problems crop up.

From young, children are asked to work hard so that they can do well in the studies. What is the purpose behind this effort to do well? Money again rears its ugly head. By doing well in his studies, a person stands a better chance of getting a ‘better-paying’ job. ‘Better paying’ means more money. More money means more happiness, or so they mistakenly assume.

Happiness on Wealth

Despite all the wealth a person has, happiness will elude him if he puts his happiness on his wealth. Howard Hughes died rich but forlorn. Big tycoons hire bodyguards to protect themselves. The not-so-rich ones work themselves to point where suddenly they find that they are too old or sick to enjoy their wealth, if they have any. The average man works for money. Money has imprisoned them.

Obsessed and Enslaved by Money

What else can be said about money? Well, we can let it work for us so that we do not become obsessed and enslaved by it, or we can work for it so that we become its slave and reap all its evil that it can give.
