There are many factors that have contributed to the present economic problem of the United States, one of which is what I choose to call, "The China Syndrome" which, in the estimation of many economists and laymen has regrettably increased the level of our dependence on unrestricted imports of cheap Chinese goods, inundating our markets with no major exports to make up for the deficit that is presently plaguing the economy.
