Though there are many laws that are enacted by the government/s but these laws seems to remain on paper only. One such law is the ‘Maternity Benefit Act, 1961’, which enables the pregnant ladies to receive their salary from their employers during their maternity leave including a medical bonus from them too.But this is not been followed in India by the employers of the companies.Is it right to spare these employers or should we punish them for risking the lives of many is the basic question.
