Is 2012 Our Last Year on Earth or are We in for Some Big Change?

Besides the Mayan prophesies that December 21st, 2012 will end their recorded history, you have to also ask that maybe that date might even mark the cusp of some fundamental change in everything around us. I realize that all the religions have a prediction of doom and gloom on our horizon for all our ongoing wickedness, but what if we don’t end everything in some cataclysmic event that leaves our planet with nothing more than another asteroid belt encircling our heat source, but instead we break through those barriers of our intellect that keep us bouncing along only using about 10% of our mental potential?

Personally I really don’t want to lose my Dish Network subscription come December 21st next year, especially since I’ve sunk a ton of coin into not only having an HDTV that puts my old 32 inch to shame and a surround sound system that delivers in-your-face heart pumping action like I’ve never known before, but I’ve finally come to terms with my disappointment with Netflix raising their rates on me, and Dish Network now gives me the Blockbuster Movie Pass that has a collection of over a hundred thousand movies that I’ll never be able to get through in only one year.

Oh, where was I? Oh yeah, back to only using 10% of my brain (maybe less). Just think, if we could actually use more than 10% of our brain, we could not only remember more information that would help us in our ability to learn and retain, but maybe we could even be able to accomplish things using our minds that for the time being seem far fetched. I had a conversation yesterday about how we all have the ability to manifest a future reality based upon our desires to picture our goals on a daily basis, and through our repeated visualizations some uncanny things start to happen, like opportunities and people that coincidentally contact us or we bump into them that somehow make our dreams and goals a reality. If we can do this already, then can you imagine what our world would be like if everybody knew how to control this ability as well as other abilities we haven’t even tapped into? Somehow I’ll go with December 21st 2012 being the turning point in our human growth, and less on the fatalistic concepts of those who choose to ignore the possibilities of our potentials, and maybe why we’re really here in this existence.

Overcoming The Odds: The Human Equation

The doom and gloom that spreads across the Internet is certainly nothing new. Throughout history, mankind has been predicting its own demise. How strange that none of these predictions of Biblical proportions has ever materialized. The harbingers of doomsday scenarios fail to understand that humans not only have free will, but also manifest very complex ‘dramas’ which some believe to be a schoolhouse for lessons. Others see the manifested drama as simply a form of entertainment for a species whose infinite potential of its intellectual expansion, transcends the majesty of the entire Universe. Civilizations come and go, but humanity prevails. We prevail because that is what we have written in the script for the grand play now showing on planet earth.

We are at a stage of social and emotional development that has all the outward appearance of a catastrophe just waiting to happen. But that is the essential ingredient for a really “edge of your seat nail biting” story. And of course it comes in many forms, especially from the far right fanatical religious groups. They are all cheering on Armageddon. Now that is really bizarre, but not to be outdone, are the middle of the road fanatics who believe an economic meltdown is immanent. Is it really? We survived the Depression of the 30’s and there is no doubt in my mind we will survive what is being called the Great Recession. It does place a lot of people in tenuous financial positions, but they will survive; albeit they may have to engage in downward mobility, but that is not necessarily bad. In fact, we might all become a bit stronger if we let go of materialism as a way of life (yep business will suffer but that is part of the story).

Now there is a really fun part to this story that sort of attempts to get around the human equation by predicting an end of the world scenario that cannot be thwarted by modern technology. This is the earth “getting pistol whipped” by the tail of Planet X scenario or a chain of monumental earth changes. Now that makes for a great movie idea…oh yea I forgot they did jump on that with the soon to be released movie: “2012”. The harbingers of doom forget that what we might manifest as a calamity is also subject to our manifestation of unexpected solutions.

Will we suffer these horrendous calamities? It’s the not knowing part that keep us alive, aware, and feeling the raw and pounding free flow of emotions that makes us unique and indelible within the Universe (the divinity of humans). And of course those of a religious persuasion will shout that God will punish the wicked especially those who believe that they themselves are divine. If you have trained yourself to live in constant fear then these words of doom will have you shaking in your boots. If you are still rational, you will see that it is all part of the script intended to entertain that most majestic of creations: the human.

December 21, 2012: Are You Ready?

The title of this article assumes some sort of special importance to the year 2012. For any other year the answer to the question would likely produce blank stares with minds spinning trying to remember if December 21 was a winter equinox or a solstice. It is in fact one of the two dates in the northern hemisphere for winter solstice which is the longest night of the year (in some years it is the 22ND). Historically it has always been the date for celebrating the expected return of the sun: a time of transformation and rebirth. But why is the winter solstice of 2012 more important than any other year? Astronomically speaking there will be a completion of an alignment between the galactic equator and our Sun (which started around 1999). This alignment will produce a major magnetic energy stream directed at earth. It is this expected spear like stream of magnetic energy that produces speculation of a possible polar shift. Many of the ‘doomsayers’ across the net, use the Mayan prophesy to support their conclusions. The simple truth is that the only thing predicted by the Mayans for December 21, 2012 is a planet wide spiritual transformation. It is actually an evolutionary shift of human consciousness from separateness to non-separateness: a greening of the mind.

The evolutionary shift is a refinement of the human species. Essentially this means a world wide consciousness shift of pulling back from the ancient conclusions that mankind is a victim of random forces. The shift that will result will be a replacement of the victim mode of thinking with a concept of co-creation in the assimilation process of the circle of life. The transformation of matter from one form to another will be understood as a co-creative assimilation design by all of existence rather than a capricious event of nature. A tribute to this process was made in the movie “The Lion King” (Circle Of Life). At the basis of this shift is a thought process that always begins with recognition of the responsibility that the individual has for ‘creating his or her own reality’ in cooperation with the rest of existence. It is this one concept that is so often misunderstood. Some net gurus assume that it is a process that will separate those who are in ‘service to self’ as opposed to those ‘in service to others’. What they fail to understand is that the process is a recognition that there are no others! It is all one. Unfortunately, this recognition was tagged as a law (The Law Of One) which implies a sort of god like director. We (as in all of existence) are the One and the transformation shift is the rebirth of the human consciousness: a greening of sorts of the human mind. What was termed Homo Sapiens (wise man) becomes Homo Verde Sapiens (Green Wise Man) or Humanus Verde for the individual.

The title of the article is a bit tongue in cheek because the shift will happen regardless of your preparedness. There is nothing to prepare! It will happen very suddenly, although some people will not recognize the change until they notice that their personal priorities have changed. What seemed so important prior to the shift will fade like a bad dream. Every person on the planet will have a new sense of awareness of the planet and all of existence. This will very subtly change their everyday behavior. It does not mean that everyone is about to achieve Sainthood. But it does mean that those who refuse to admit to the whole will be viewed as needing help rather than punishment. Proof of personal existence will change from “I think therefore I am” to “I think therefore I create”. And training the skill of manifestation will become a basic component of childhood education.
