Is there such a thing? This is a spinoff to my article about leaving a relationship. It seems people have remarked that they thought it would be too expensive, complicated or messy to seek a divorce. As we go through life, there are tests for everything. From our youngest years, we took tests for school, to learn to drive, to get a job, to go into the military. If we are sick, tests are done to determine why. As we age, our minds and bodies change. People think they are fine, but are not. Judgement may be the first thing to go, followed by cognitive impairment. Systems and laws in place do not protect the elderly from poor judgement due to the aging process.

Many are scared to take the plunge into Politics as they fear they would not survive for long in this field and in a way they are Right. by Brian Maverick Blum in Issues, February 7, 2012

The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) held a writing competition asking these two questions, and this essay is my entry. In it, I explain why it is necessary for us to abolish or severely rein in the Federal Reserve, and what "money" we should use instead of our deflating fiat dollars.
