In dream interpretation, it is important to focus on the details, and take into account the factors and influences of the dream. However, the mood of a dream is a message in itself.

One of the most important parts of dream interpretation is the overall mood or atmosphere of a dream. While the details of dream are the individual clues to the messages from the subconscious, being aware of the overall mood or atmosphere of the dream is vital in assessing how it all fits together.

The mood or atmosphere of a dream is a connected to the emotional state of the dreamer in real life. For example, a dream set under a bright sunny sky evokes a positive feeling, and may foretell of ‘sunnier’ days ahead. However, a dark, cloudy sky portrays an atmosphere of impending doom, and suggests that the dreamer may be feeling heavy of heart.

The colours or shades of light and dark in the atmosphere of a dream can be representative of the overall experience that it currently occurring, or about to be experienced. As a general rule; bright, light colours denote a positive mood before drifting off to sleep, and dark, melancholic tones indicate negativity and a mind weighed down with worries.

Dream Moods – Meanings

Threatening

Dream situations which involve fear are often reflections of a dangerous or overwhelming situation that is brewing. Anxieties that are being experienced in real life are making their way into the dream. If a threatening feeling is remembered upon waking, it is a sign that there is something in real life that is causing the anxiety or fear. The details in the dream should be taken into account for clarification.

Hazy

Blurred or hidden details in a dream often represent confused feelings. Confused emotions in real life often make their way into dreams which hide the truth from view, such as travelling through a dense fog in search of answers. Although the answer may not become evident in the dream, the atmosphere can also contain an element of positive expectation. The dreamer may be aware that the subconscious knows that an answer exists and can be found.

Clear

Dreams that have a floating feeling often suggest a light, stress-free and peaceful type of mood. These types of dreams usually generate an aura of achievement and comfort. Often they occur after some breakthrough or accomplishment after a long period of activity in real life. A dream such as this can often follow after a very busy and hectic period of activity, during which a dream of turmoil, such as a storm, had surfaced. The subconscious is indicating that the storm has passed.

Joyous

Celebratory dreams are filled with an atmosphere of joy and pleasure. They are usually filled with a heightened awareness and vivid sharpness, indicating a time of personal growth. As the overall mood of the dream conveys happiness, it could be compared to a ‘pat on the back’. The dream is acknowledging that the subconscious recognises a time of celebration has arrived or will soon appear in real life.

The boffins have been beavering away for the last decade, aiming to get nano-technology perfected to the point where the traditional tattoo will be as much old hat as dinosaurs. The possibilities are awesome.

What is more popular these days than getting a tattoo, like your favorite celebrity has, but the downside is that you are stuck with it, once imprinted into your skin, and if you start to go off the joys of having it, tough luck. What it, though, as some scientists are claiming could soon be a possibility, you could have a tattoo that changed whenever you wanted it to, at the proverbial flick of a switch?

Over the past decade, research has been going on, at a frantic pace, into so-called polymer displays in combination with micro-electronic circuitry on a truly minute scale, recent developments meaning that putting electronics, onto and into our skin, able to be programmed to display chosen images that image match moods or compliment clothing, may soon become a reality.

Called Active Skin Technology, this groundbreaking concept has many applications that could make life in future much more interesting, and getting ready to go out a matter of pressing a few buttons to achieve the desired look. It is now possible to build a wide range of computer chips smaller than human skin cells, which would be applied through printing or blasting, in large numbers, into upper layers of the skin, and the possible uses for such technology are staggering.

You could have medical sensors implanted, monitoring blood chemistry continuously, relaying data to local hospital computers via mobile phone links, the computers remotely controlling drug dispensing, via especially printed membranes, with pores electronically opened and closed for accurate dosage of drugs.

There is no reason why, given the wonders of nano-technology, that we could not have computer keyboards printed into our wrists, lighting up only when touched, and almost invisible in the dormant state. Everything you need, from MP3 player to cell phone, could be included, the circuitry made of groups of invisibly small devices, with displays based on small organic LEDs.

Light emission is not uncommon in nature, and these organic LEDs could be placed either as simple single indicator lights or entire computer displays, so that wearers would, in effect, have TV screens printed on the backs of their hands. The possibilities for so-called living tattoos, as you can imagine, are quite breathtaking, and the art of body decoration would be headed in completely new directions

Linking active skin technology to cosmetics, and perfumery, seems a logical step, as examples of successful nanotechnology use are to be found with the cosmetics industry already. The most logical move would seem to be the inclusion of programmable nano-particles in make-up. Simply changing the surface texture can effect changes in color, so instructing nano-particles to re-arrange themselves could achieve this same result.

A lady applying makeup in the morning can take some time. A digital mirror, pre-programmed, would show her various make-up designs, and after applying, none too carefully, the smart make-up, she picks what she wants from the mirror choices, and the makeup configures itself to achieve that, using the (active skin underlay, which is, of course, invisible.

This active makeup can, according to her selected regime, change through the day, as she wishes it, the same applying for video nail varnish and perfume used. Active skin can include a warming element, able to vaporize different perfume components on request, altering the scent. The ultimate aim, of course, is to link nerves to electronics, something that could be very close to being fully realized. It would then be possible to ‘meet’ in virtual environments, and to ‘feel’ the handshake you both imagine offering. This would entail the need to print active skin over hands and fingers, but it is not difficult to imagine how much further it could be taken.

Greatly enhanced reality in computer games is inevitable, quality and range of inputs set to improve to the point of having a 21st century future in electronics that is both fascinating and slightly scary. The scenario of the computers at war with humanity in the Terminator films was quite disturbing, but here we are seriously looking at making ourselves part machine, in the furtherance of technology.

I have to admit that I am certain any woman you ask would be eternally grateful for the cosmetic advances discussed here, and being able to use the communicate even when on a beach miles from anywhere sounds great, but all the same I wonder if the steps the scientific world are so excited about are not perhaps that little bit too far. Only time will tell.

A quiet life is like a dream in today's competitive and materialistic. A chase after fame of wealth & seems endless, but everyone wants peace. The funny thing is that there are people who did nothing, but others take, safety of the quest for peace. Life is hard living, but beautiful and worth in all situations. Current situation and the situation will soon be the last, no matter what, what is the reality of life and nothing can change, but the irony is that many of us still can not fight against all odds and make it the best we have.

Peace is not peace and quiet is the feeling of complete ness, a sense of satisfaction, the satisfaction of doing something good. And it can be obtained as follows:

Meditation:

According to Buddhist philosophy, meditation is a way to salvation, it is never too late, we can get salvation through meditation, at any stage of life, I do not know about salvation, but the confidence can be achieved through meditation, at any stage of life. Meditation in my opinion, it is clear their thoughts and minds of all that is problematic and disturbing. One can manage his anger, grief and other emotions, with the help of meditation. Meditation is not a very technical process that requires proper training, can easily be performed by a non-technical, all you need attention. Be aware of the practice should not be limited to cross-legged position. meditation attention is a dynamic practice to follow what they do to any position or situation that is

Daily exercise:

healthy body and healthy mind is the most important ingredients for a peaceful life. Daily exercise improves energy levels and immunity. You do not need to spend hours in the gym, running or even walking for half an hour a day can keep the rejuvenated for the rest of the day. When your body will be healthy, you will feel more comfortable in everything you do. A life reborn as a human being regarded as something very valuable. For a long life is a unique and important opportunity to end our suffering. Therefore it is important to stay healthy. To keep your body healthy is a right … otherwise not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

Practicing his craft for the day:

Hobbies are important and should be practiced regularly to happiness. E is a great way to show their talent and express their feelings. It gives you the opportunity to spend more time with their own is that the reverse is more difficult in this hectic world. A hobby is more than a hobby. A hobby has many advantages and benefits for the individual. For some, a hobby, an outlet for other ways to acquire knowledge. Hobbies keep our minds – and our hands – active. Most hobbies are an ideal way to relax. On the way back to work and sit back and enjoy your favorite pastime helps keep your mind off the stresses of the day. Hobbies also help you relax before bedtime to help you sleep better at night.

Dance music &:

& dance music is the best fighter of stress. The music not only has a capacity to release tension, but to achieve peace of mind and the dance is. You do not have to be a dancer or singer trained to do their own thing in a way that is more fun than you can remove all tension. Listening to music helps you to keep negative thoughts away and enjoy life. Life without music would be safe and probably not allow us to vent our feelings. Music touches the soul and allows us to express different moods and emotions. Music has the power to encourage even the worst mood and to waive any unpleasant thoughts. Music is an art to meliorate creativity in you, not only because it appeals to the conscious mind, but also the unconscious.

Reading:

The books are not only important source of knowledge but can also provide answers to your questions. Read and listen to teachers, so you can “undo” most of our ignorance. Books are important, such as listening to great masters. In fact one of the most important things we can do with our lives. But this does not mean you need to read books on religion and motivation to achieve peace of mind. You can read all that their own interests, whether poetry, fiction history book or a newspaper. Provides a continuous reading from one person to solve their own problems & achieve peace of mind.

Therefore, the appointment is also a religious guru, “If the day to day to live a good life, the truth with love, compassion, detachment, and then automatically take you to Nirvana,” For us, it means peace.

Knowing the Secrets of Success.

TIME is everybody’s resource and everybody’s problem. We all have the same amount of time: either your boss, the president, Hollywood stars, or you. As an aspect of what must be the ultimate democracy, each has but 24 hours a day, 60 minutes an hour.

TIME determines many vital things about your life: how much you get done at work or home, how much time you get to spend with people you like and with yourself. Besides, keeping good time also affects your moods whether you feel a sense of moving forward or standing still. Whether you feel you are running your life or it is running you, whether you are, in fact, stresses or relaxed.

Successful people know that managing time is not a mysterious gift. It’s a skill anyone can learn and practice. A few simple techniques can make life less complicated…..and more fun. Best of all, time management creates balance and harmony among all your “selves” – parent, careerist, civic activist, athlete, cook, accountant. The key is knowing your strength and weaknesses.

These tips are for people with dominant fast-forward personalities.

For those of you with persistent fast-forward personalities, let me save you a little time by giving you these tips:

Make sure your job comes first and your personal and family life second.

Go to work evenings, weekends, and holidays so you won’t be interrupted.

When not at work, spend time at home thinking about or doing work to catch up or get ahead.

Drive fast because you can’t waste time getting where you need to be.

Consistently plan meetings for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Avoid time wasters like hunting, fishing, golf, gardening, and regular exercise.

Be involved in as many organizations, committees, meetings, and banquets as possible.

Take vacations only when absolutely necessary.

When out of town for work, schedule an early morning appointment for your first day back at your office to help keep you on track.

Do not delegate responsibility; you can do it better and faster yourself.

One thing is for sure: You’ll never get too busy to attend your own funeral, whether or not it was in your schedule.

The way a fast-forward person lives adds to the stress and strain he or she is already experiencing.

Being out of balance is not in itself destructive; but to the extent an individual cannot let go and return to a healthy balance, she or he is no longer in control.

People with fast-forward personalities eat, walk, and talk fast. They are restless and impatient, have trouble relaxing, and thrive on deadlines. Typically they are compulsive, competitive, and power-seeking. They are clock-watchers and time-binders. Fast-forward types will try to cram eight hours of work into two and then become agitated when the work isn’t completed – especially if someone else was expected to do it.

They feel pressure even when there’s no need to. They burn a great deal of energy needlessly and have trouble unhooking. They are the high-rollers – big spenders – when it comes to energy use.

About 5 a.m. in an airport rest room, I was at the sink washing my hands. At first I thought I was alone in the room, but I kept hearing a faint mumbling. Turning to look, I saw a pair of legs at the end of a long row of stalls. Listening more closely, I quickly realized that the gentleman in the stall was dictating a letter to his secretary!

Some people might call that an efficient use of time. I say it demonstrates a number of points about fast-forward personalities: the need to do more than one thing at a time, a tendency to have trouble letting go, and an inclination to be stuck in the fast-forward mode.

One psychoanalyst described guilt as the most difficult and the most important problem in the whole realm of psychology. Almost all of man's troubles can be traced to our inner feeling of guilt.

When we think of guilt most of us probably think of something undesirable. While this is often true, we should realize that guilt and guilt feelings can also be desirable. If we never became aware of ontological guilt, for example, we might never see the need for a Savior. If we never had any guilt feelings we might be more inclined to act in ways which would harm other people and harm ourselves. Guilt and guilt feelings, therefore, are not always bad. Sometimes they are constructive and helpful.

Still, guilt feelings often influence us adversely — especially when we rationalize guilt and pretend it does not exist. We do this when we make up excuses to explain our guilt away: “Of course I cheated on my income tax!” We say to ourselves, “but everybody does it.” Or, “certainly I went over the speed limit but there weren’t any other cars around and they probably expect most people to do a little over the posted speed anyhow.” Equally common is the tendency to pass the buck by blaming someone else for our guilt-producing behavior. Adam blamed Eve who in turn blamed the serpent. Hitler blamed the Jews for his difficulties and at the end of his life wrote: “It is true that neither I nor anybody else in Germany wanted war in 1939. It was wanted and provoked exclusively by those international politicians who either came of Jewish stock or worked for Jewish interests. After all my efforts toward disarmament, posterity cannot place the responsibility for this war on me.” This also happens when we blame our friends for their bad influence on us or we deny we are responsible for our actions since so much behavior is determined by our past experiences, or the influence of our parents. (More and more people, it seems, are claiming they cannot be held responsible for their actions since they are the helpless victims of unhealthy childhood experiences.)

When we push guilt from our conscious awareness, we can be sure it will come back to haunt us in other ways. Denied guilt, for example, often causes physical illness. The mere effort of keeping the guilt out of one’s mind can put a strain on the body and cause it to break down. It is also quite possible that guilty people punish themselves unconsciously by getting sick. This may sound ridiculous until you recognize that according to several estimates, between 50 and 75 percent of all patients who go to a medical doctor are suffering from physical illnesses that are emotionally caused. If we are physically sick we get a lot of sympathy and almost nobody holds us responsible for our actions –including the actions that are causing the guilt.

Denied guilt can also cause depression. Here the person has done something for which he feels guilty but instead of facing his guilt he develops feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, despair, and discouragement.

A third way denied guilt influences us is by causing self-destructive behavior. Perhaps you have heard of the flagellants in the Philippines. On Good Friday each year these men walk through the streets beating themselves with whips, literally tearing their backs to shreds. It would seem that individuals feel guilty and think they should punish themselves. Some writers have even suggested that accident proneness may characterize people who are unconsciously angry with themselves for past deeds.

Fourthly, denied guilt can cause neuroses. Often the guilty person develops what psychologists call an obsessive-compulsive neurosis in which the individual feels a compulsion to do something over and over again since such repetitious acts seem to help one fight off guilt. Lady Macbeth’s repetitious hand washing is a good example from Shakespeare. This neurosis also characterizes the behavior of many religious people. When a person feels he must rigidly attend every church service, serve on every committee and engage in every ritual, these may be unconscious attempts to ward off guilt feelings. For these people life becomes a great burden. Their religion becomes a list of do’s and don’ts they never know the real joy that comes from a guilt-free life.

Opposite characterization of humans singled out in this expressed article.

Extroversion and introversion are two different ways of relating to the world around us. They identify where we are most comfortable focusing our attention and where we are energized. Everyone uses extroversion and introversion, but each person prefers or is more comfortable with one more than the other.

It’s safe to say that the terms “extrovert” and “introvert” are two of the most misunderstood words in our vocabulary. What do you think of when you hear the word “introvert”? Is your first response positive or negative? For most people (including introverts), their first response is usually more negative than positive. The truth is that neither preference is positive or negative. Introverts have been described as loners, wallflowers, etc. On the other hand, extroverts have been described as loud, overbearing and obnoxious.

Children who are extroverts are energized by people, action and the things going on around them. They not only focus on the outer world but are also energized by contact with it. They don’t necessarily talk more than introverts, and not all extroverts are party animals. They simply draw energy and inspiration from the outer world of people and things.

Introverts are more likely to be energized by their inner worlds of thought and reflection. It’s not that they like people any less than extroverts. They may enjoy people and have the same communication skills as extroverts. However, they recharge their batteries when they are away from large groups of people. It’s not even that they talk less than extroverts. The introverted child simply feels uncomfortable spending a disproportionate amount of time “socializing” in the outer world.

Extroverts can view introverts as being unfriendly or cold, but this isn’t necessarily true. The natural God-given design of introverts leads them to be energized by time alone. Thus, when introverts have to deal with people who may not be close or familiar to them, they may well feel like fish out of water.

A Closer Look at the Differences

The following is a list of some of the differences between introverts and extroverts. Like most people, you will probably find some things in both descriptions that sound like you. However, you will also have a pretty clear sense that you prefer, or are better at, one or the other.

Extrovert

Feels drawn outward by external requests and opportunities.

Energized by other people and external experiences.

An interruption is an opportunity.

Enjoys people.

The unlived life is not worth examining.

Acts and then (maybe) reflects.

Seeks activity.

Is often friendly, talkative, and easy to know.

Expresses emotions.

Problem solves externally.

Values relationships.

Gives breadth to life.

May seem shallow to introverts.

Introverts

Feels pushed inward by external requests and intrusions.

Energized by inner resources and internal experiences.

An interruption is an intrusion.

Enjoys pondering.

The unexamined life is not worth living.

Reflects and then (maybe) acts.

Seeks solitude.

Is often reserved, quiet, and hard to know.

Keeps emotions to self.

Problem solves internally.

Values privacy.

Gives depth to life.

May seem withdrawn to extroverts.

These might or might not work for everyone, but they couldn't hurt to try.

Hang out with happy people: Who you associate with can have a huge impact on your mood. Try to avoid those who are constant downers, or those who are always angry.

Read: Not just reading of anything, but read something inspirational. Read part of a book you’ve found really moving, or something from a funny Web site. This helps to improve your mood. Don’t believe me? Give it a try. I bet you’ll feel better.

Fake it:Yes, this one sounds … well, it sounds fakey. But that’s kind of the point. If you’re in a bad mood, act cheery. Eventually your emotions and your brain will catch up. You might be surprised how this can improve your mood.

Be conscious of your moods: Being a downer doesn’t have to be a given. Besides, genetics isn’t a given and you don’t have to be in a foul mood all the time. Beware of your moods. Watch for things that trigger sadness or anger in you. Does a certain song make you all weepy? Don’t listen to it. Does a certain person at work get your steam boiling? Stay away from them as much as possible. Keep in mind, you can’t change the rest of the world, but you can change yourself.

Simplify the technology in your life: Simplicity can equal happiness. All too often we get stressed out over things that aren’t really worth stressing over. You don’t have to have the latest gadget. You don’t have to keep up with your 20 favorite TV shows. You don’t have to stay up for 30 hours straight playing a video game. Maybe those things sound like fun, but all that fun might just be stressing you out. Turn off the tube, put down the game controller and get out and enjoy reality for a while.

Seek answers, not problems: When something goes wrong, try to find a solution if possible. Don’t sit around feeling sorry for yourself and wallowing in self-pity. If there’s a problem, fix it! At least it will be progress of some sort.

Work at your physical health: If you look better and feel better, your moods will be better. It’s that simple. You don’t have to start with some major exercise plan. Just get out and walk a little. The next day, make that walk a little longer, even if it’s only by a few feet. Soon you’ll find your body is improving and so is your mood.

Set goals: What is it that will make you happy? Is it achievable? If not, why not? If is is, why aren’t you doing something about it instead of crying about it? Decide upon things that will make you happier, then work toward them. Make a list if it helps you. It doesn’t have to be big goals. Maybe something as simple as talking to an old friend would make you happy. What are you waiting for? Call them! Enough little things that make you happy can lead up to big things that make you happy.

Remember that you are human: You are allowed to make mistakes. You are going to make mistakes. You’re also allowed to have all the emotions and frustrations that go along with being human. Rejecting your emotions can lead to stress, though that doesn’t mean you have to allow your emotions to rule you. Keep in mind that you are human, just like everyone else. You’ll have your good days and your bad days. But by remember that you are much like everyone else, you can relieve some of the stress of being human. You’re not alone. You’re just like the rest of us.

Be grateful for others, and show your thanks: How you treat others affects how they treat you, and it affects your own moods. If you’re nicer to people, they will be nicer to you. And what’s a better way to improve your mood than to have other people be nice to you?
