There are many takes on the Trayvon Martin case, and what happened that night. Here's another theory.

Recently, there’s been a lot of talk over the famous Trayvon Martin case, in which neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman shot and killed teen Trayvon Martin in his neighborhood. Most people seem to sympathize with Martin, claiming he was innocent because he was unarmed. Some side with Zimmerman, claiming that he did not intend to kill Trayvon, and that the death was accidental in an attempt to defend himself. However, one must take a step back and look at the big picture. Here’s my take on what may have happened that night.

Zimmerman, an experienced neighborhood watchman responsible for the arrests of several criminals, was out one night when he spotted Trayvon. His experiences hinted to him that something may not be right, and he decided to follow Trayvon, sticking close behind so he could quickly call police if the teen attempted any crimes. He followed Trayvon for quite a while as he walked home with his snacks and drinks from a nearby store. Trayvon noticed this, and quickly became unnerved. He was on the phone with his girlfriend, expressing his concerns about the strange man following him.

This is where everything goes downhill.

Trayvon, out of fear, turned on Zimmerman. Zimmerman, out of fear, killed Trayvon. None of it was intentional. Just two people fighting out of fear for one another. Trayvon feared for his life, believing the man who followed him intended him harm, and Zimmerman feared for his life, fearing that the frantic, unarmed teen might actually harm him. None of it was planned, and no one wanted to kill anyone.

Anyways, that’s my take on the whole situation. I used to be an avid Trayvon supporter, and I followed the case like a hound dog follows a rabbit. When more details started coming out, I started putting pieces together and came up with this. The new development of Zimmerman’s bond being revoked casts some doubt on his credibility, and so the honesty of his story, but my opinion remains the same. I believe that racial discrimination did play a role in Zimmerman’s choice to follow Trayvon that night, and thus was a primary factor in Trayvon’s death.

None of this could be true. Zimmerman may have just been drunk and decided to go kill some kid. This is just my take on the whole thing, and I personally think it’s a lot more reasonable than some other theories out there.

Guilty Knowledge. That is what the Police described two young boys ages 7 and 8 of having in the death of Ryan Harris. on that hot July day in 1998 She was found in a hot, weed-grown back lot in Englewood. Two young boys said she’d been knocked from her bicycle.

The Cops had driven the two young boys around and asked them questions that Police felt that only a person with first-hand knowledge of the death would know. A day or so before, a Laundromat owner spoke out saying that these boys arrests were no surprise, as they were really bad children. Others had seen these two young boys chase little Ryan with rocks, at one time knocking her from her bicycle as she rode around. The boys said that they threw a rock, knocked her from her bike, she fell and they put leaves in her nose to see if she was breathing. They didn’t say that they stumbled upon her.

Personally speaking, I will admit that the movie The Bad Seed is a poor example to drive a point home but I believed that these two young boys could have done it, so much so that when I had the love of my in the Emergency Room with one of his little Hypochondria-tic episodes, I was talking amongst the people in the ER. I didn’t know that I would feel almost endangered when I expressed that I believed the boys did it. “Those babies didn’t do that, they couldn’t, they’re too little….blah, blah, blah…“ I left the Room to go out and smoke a cigarette (I was still a wretched smoker then too). I was met by a nice lady who said “It’s a shame that people can be so hateful just because someone else has another opinion. These boys could have done it.” She was so nice and we talked at length about it. Child Murderers are not that common but they do exist. Just think of that incident in England. At least their system was intelligent enough not to rule out children because of size and age. Ryan was a typically small 10 year old, sort of like I was, that is kind of skinny and there were two boys against one girl. The age difference was somewhat significant but have you ever been ambushed by a bunch of little bad boys? I could see it happening. Those little boys can ambush you throwing brick bats and all sorts of missiles when you’re young and it would not have been to actually kill someone but who knows? Things are so different know and even though this was in 1998, still it was a violent world of Video games and television.

Oh my goodness, the Police Department had to retreat. They just didn’t want a ’self-righteous‘ riot going on because had they not turned those two boys a loose, there would have been. The then Judge R. Eugene Pinching, now deceased and many other Aldermen and Politicians joined together to allege that the Police Department was wrong, carrying these two kids around, bating them with treats and coercing confessions out of them. There is a lot of Police Brutality in Chicago, I will admit because it’s true. But I just don’t think that the Cops were running around trying to frame two little bitty boys. Trust me, there were enough other fresh game out there to frame that were not that young. Something triggered the Police to investigate these boys in the first place.

And then the public’s dream came true. A sex-offender who was awaiting trial for another offense’s, DNA was found on the girl. Bear with me on this one: he said that he performed an act on or near the girl as he found her lying in that weeded lot but that he did not kill her. He was a Monster with a capital M. But offenders don’t usually change their M.O. They don’t. He was a sexual pervert but never accused of killing anyone before. This guy and his brother who was in jail at the time, had histories of sex offenses so he admitted that to be true. Since the DNA was his, and he was going to Jail anyway he was taken in on that charge of killing Ryan Harris as well. What people don’t know is that this man pled under an obscure law on the books. During the hearing one of Durr’s lawyers, Daniel Coyne, announced that Durr was making an “Alford” plea. In an Alford plea which was named after a 1970 Supreme Court case in which a defendant says he’s pleading guilty because it’s in his interests to do so, but he still maintains he didn’t commit the crime. Alford pleas are rare. Coyne had offered the plea on behalf of a client in only one other case in his 20-year career, and his co-counsel, had done so only once in 30 years. So why this time? “Because Floyd Durr did not kill that child,” says Coyne.

Floyd Durr and his fellow rapist and violent brothers had been offending sexually before and his youngest brother had been charged at one time with Involuntary Manslaughter. Floyd’s IQ was somewhere in the 60s so the Death Penalty was unlikely since it takes more than an IQ of 75 to be accountable. Still he pled guilty in this obscure law because it was in the best interest of him to do so. Sounds like it was in the best interest of the boys. I remember the day that the youngest was released and his father, who looked thuggish to me said arrogantly and cockily “I knew my son was innocent. This boy is an angel….” I’m thinking “an Angel, for real? Even my good, little nice 11 year old boy who ran some ladies down to give them some money they had dropped….was no angel. He was just a nice little boy that I happened to give attention to and teach to do the right thing.

Then the Lawsuits began and the parents of these children certainly pandered to the adoring public who considered them just too cute and innocent to have done such a thing. The Washington Post even wondered how Chi-Town Cops could have arrested them. The cops knew everything from these boys in detail and as one said “If you were just looking at this case at a distance, you can assume things differently. But up close, it’s altogether different……” To this day, some of these men, who are retired, believe that Floyd is innocent.

Just because the young boys could not produce semen didn’t not mean that the semen that was found, not in the girls vaginal area, but somewhere around the body, that the person who left the semen actually committed the crime. Her hymen was not broken. Floyd says that he was drawn to the weeded backyard area because he saw too shorties leave it.

In conclusion, there is a lot of blame to go around in the death of this lovely young girl. First of all, Englewood is not a place that you let a child ride around freely on her bicycle. Also, for years, Englewood was hailed as an area with the highest concentration of sex offenders. Also Ryan had a run-in with a 24 year old felon who threatened to kill her after she hit him with a brick about a day before. But more than anything, as a mother, you never leave your child in a Community that you just don’t know about. Sabrina Harris lived somewhere in the South Suburbs which isn’t saying so much in itself, but she had to know more about what was to be allowed while Ryan was visiting the city. But I understand that she just didn’t know, she just didn’t. I have never lived in Englewood and trust me, I can count on my hands the times I have been in that area. I never liked it and never trusted it. After the first boy’s parents sued and won 6.2 million and the youngest family sued and won 2 million, one or the other of the families went back and sued and got some more for the emotional damage done to their perfect little sons. Sporadically I have read about the troubles that these two boys have faced as they grew up. Detention, Jail, Gang Activity. And I would bet any amount of money that the lawsuit money went straight down the drain. Nobody cared much about Ryan besides her family and people like me. I can look outside the box. Peace.

The Steenkamp Family of South Africa, who was so rudely murdered two months ago; case still unresolved. The police say the ballistics are finalized, but still have not made any arrests. Was Don(15-years old), the sole survivor, the murderer?

Don Steenkamp(15)

The only survivor of a horrific farm attack in South Africa. Since the murders took place two months ago it seems as if the police did not have a clue what really took place the day of the murder. Important evidence that should have been preserved for the investigation, got lost, and the case is just dragging on and on. Don’s Mother, Father and younger sister Martella were shot dead on that tragic day!

Time Line of Tragedy! Sorry this is in Afrikaans, could not find one in English! But maybe if you just look at the picture it will give you an idea what happened!

This murder case, did not seem like a normal farm murder from the beginning! There was no signs of breaking or entering into the farm house, nothing was stolen and the vault where the weapons was kept was found opened! Don said he was in a barn close to the house when he heard the gun shots and realized that it must be a farm attack. He hid there until it was quiet and then ran to the farm to find his family all shot, he claimed that his sister was still alive and died in his arms. He took one of the vehicles and road into town to report the case to the police, and on his way, he found the weapons lying in the ground. He picked them up and took them to the police with him. When he came to the police station, he had no shirt on. Telling the police then that it was full of his sisters blood and took it of. He immediately washed of the blood at the police station?!

Christel and Deon Steenkamp murdered!

When will this case be solved? Who murdered this family? Was it Don?

It just doesn't seem right.

I felt I had to write this article after seeing a documentary on BBC 3 about a 16 year prostitute murdered one of her clients by shots him. The teenager reason’s for doing this is she thought he was going to attack her.

Coming from an unstable background, she was put up for adoption because her drug addict mother was found to be an unfit parent. The young girl fell in with the wrong crowd and lost her virginity aged 12.

Throughout the years she slept with a number of different people either because she thought thats what she was suppose to do or because she was forced. It was clear that this girl needed help long ago, instead she will now spend her whole life behind bars. It just seems like such a waste.

While I agree everyone should take responsibility for their actions I don’t think anyone under the age of 18 should serve a life sentence in an adult prison. By letting that happen they will never get they help they need and a chance to become a better person.

I think it most cases they would be better off in therapy and be given continued support. What do you think?

The murder case against a man accused of gunning down the brother of a key witness who helped convict New Orleans crime kingpin Telly Hankton last year is going federal, Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro’s office said Thursday. Cannizzaro’s office on Thursday dropped the murder charge against Walter “Moonie” Porter III, 36, along with weapons charges in a separate case against him. Criminal District Judge Lynda Van Davis ordered Porter transferred to federal custody.

Orleans Parish Sheriff’s OfficeWalter Porter

Assistant District Attorney Christopher Bowman, a Cannizzaro spokesman, said the office has turned over its file in the killing of Curtis Matthews to U.S. Attorney Jim Letten’s office.

“We did so in light of the fact that they already have the defendant under indictment for various offenses, which include obstruction of justice, armed robbery, bank robbery, and I believe some weapons charges.”

A federal grand jury on Thursday indicted Porter and Brian Hayes in the July 6, 2011, armed robbery of Capital One Bank’s Lakefront branch in the 6300 block of Elysian Fields, and in the Aug. 27, 2011, armed robbery of the bank’s branch in the 2200 block of North Causeway Boulevard in Metairie, in which Porter allegedly carried an assault rifle. The indictment doesn’t say how much was stolen.

Last month, Porter and Gerard Howard were indicted on firearms possession and conspiracy charges from crimes allegedly committed in 2009 and 2010.

First Assistant U.S. Attorney Jan Mann declined to detail the federal interest in Porter, saying only that an investigation is ongoing.

Matthews, 61, was gunned down Oct. 15 outside the Jazz Daiquiri Lounge in the 3400 block of South Claiborne Ave. He had come from North Carolina to take care of the daiquiri shop for his brother, John Matthews, who was in hiding. In late 2010, well before Hankton’s trial, John Matthews was shot 17 times in his home in eastern New Orleans, allegedly by Hankton cousin Thomas Hankton.

Matthews survived to testify against Telly Hankton in the savage 2008 murder of Darnell Stewart, also in front of the daiquiri lounge.

Hankton is now serving a life prison term.

The slaying of Curtis Matthews, just days after Hankton’s sentencing, drew a sharp public response from Mayor Mitch Landrieu, who stood on the neutral ground in front of the lounge and called out Hankton, whom police had labeled the most dangerous criminal New Orleans.

“I’m sending a message loud and clear to Telly Hankton and his family and anyone else associated with this: We’re coming to get you,” Landrieu said.

View full sizeMichael DeMocker, The Times-Picayune archive3400 block of South Claiborne Avenue.

Two days later, police Superintendent Ronal Serpas named Porter as the suspect. He turned himself in the following day.

Along with Porter’s arrest, a federal grand jury indicted an associate, Celestine Skia, for allegedly making straw gun purchases for Porter, including one on the day Curtis Matthews was shot.

State prosecutors also charged Skia, 23, with accessory to murder and obstruction of justice as an accessory to murder and obstruction of justice. Police said Skia followed Porter’s orders to get rid of incriminating evidence and helped him hide away in a hotel room after Matthews’ murder. Skia’s state case also was dropped Thursday, and she too was transferred to federal custody.

Telly Hankton, 35, still awaits trial in the June, 2009, murder of Jessie “TuTu” Reed, who died in a hail of gunfire on Terpsichore Street. The trial has repeatedly been delayed for various reasons and now is scheduled for Aug. 20.

A key witness in Reed’s killing, Hasan “Hockie” Williams, was shot dead two weeks later, in what prosecutors say was a hit called by Hankton from jail. Hankton has not been charged, however, in Williams’ murder.

Prosecutors say Stewart and Reed were killed in retaliation for the December 2007 murder of Hankton’s cousin, George “Cup” Hankton, in Gert Town, although a feud between Hankton and Reed apparently dates back earlier.

Hankton and another cousin, Troy Hankton, 27, are accused of firing into a car at Stewart, Reed and another man, Karim Peters, on Clara Street, eight months before Cup Hankton’s death.

Both Troy and Telly Hankton faces three counts of attempted second-degree murder in that case. No trial date has been set.

Said James Liebman lecturer in law “was” innocent accused “Carlos De Luna was sentenced to death when he was seventeen and twenty years of age after the” investigation is incomplete missing a lot. “
Lipman has spent five of his students in the Faculty of Law at Columbia University five years and they are studying details of the case.
Said Lipman “De Luna was like a real killer like a” true copy “of it was of the same name was in the vicinity of the crime scene at that time ill-fated. Pushing the eighth crime committed by one of him and was executed in his place in the state of Texas in 1989.”
The authors of this report, which comes in 780 pages by selecting “incomplete evidence led authorities to the prosecution of Carlos de Luna on the back of the murder of the evidence indicates that he did not commit, but that someone else committed, named Carlos Hernández.”
Carrying a knife
This report reviews the “facts surrounding the murder that was committed in February 1983 that killed Wanda Lopez, a mother stabbed in the gas station where she worked in the coastal city of Corpus Christi in Texas.”
Lipman said that “all things were wrong in this case.” ”Was contacted and Wanda Lopez that night the police twice to provide protection to a request from a man carrying a knife.”
After 40 minutes to commit the crime, was arrested Carlos de Luna in the vicinity of the gas station.
The witness identified him one saw “a man of Latino away from the gas station.” De Luna wearing a white shirt, unlike the murderer who reported that he was the witness of a mustache and wearing a gray T-shirt. “
After the trial, which were conducted in a hurry, de Luna was executed by lethal injection in 1989.
The Lipman said Carlos Hernández, who was convicted in another murder, died in prison, and has been echoed in recent days that he was killed Wanda Lopez.
A statement attached to the report “unfortunately are still flaws in the system that led to the judgment on de Luna and his execution error control so far innocent to death.”

My source, who shall remain anonymous, works for the Palm Bay police department. He is a good family friend of mine and he has brought some disturbing findings to my attention. I think these findings should be known to the public even though many people may not believe what they are about to read...

On February, 2, 2012, the first of seven bodies were found. All seven victims had three things in common. The first is that all of them were females between the ages of 21-25.

The second, and in my opinion the most disturbing detail these women had in common was how they died. They were found with a single deep bite to the corodded artery. To add to the weird factor, their boddies were drained of blood despite the fact that there was very little blood found at each crime scene. C.S.I. found evidence leading them to believe the victims were not first drained before being dumped as they first assumed.

All of the women had no sign of defensive wounds, which lead detectives to believe that they were caught off guard and thus, never had a chance to get away from their attacker. The last thing the victims had in common is the autopsy, more specificaly, their time of death. Each victim was killed at night.

The P.B.P.D. is chalking up the deaths as an animal attack but that doesn’t make any sense at all to me. For one thing Palm Bay, Fl isn’t exactly wilderness capitol. Secondly; Have you ever heard of a dog or wolf, or any other animal attacking somebody and biting them only once? Even if your answer to that is yes, tell me this then. If it was an animal where did the blood go?

This is all the info I currently have so as soon as I know more so will you. If you want to talk more on the subject whether you would like me to explain anything further or you have info on the same happenings in another town then I deffinitely want to hear about it A.S.A.P.

PS:My pen name is not my real name to secure my anonamity but that is the name you may refer to me as.

Homicide in America seems to be at an all time high. People just don't seem to care about the well being of others. Possibly it is the stress level of today's time that has led to the rise in homicides. Is Capital Punishment the answer?

Murder, by definition, is an act of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought. With that being said, it is difficult to find a reason why someone would murder any individual while thinking rationally. Malice aforethought is the actual thinking and planning stages of carrying out an act. In the context of a murder, there are many extenuating circumstances that come into play. Most people do not set out to actually kill another human being. The majority of murders are committed as crimes of passion and for the most part spontaneous with no prior thought or planning.

As far as deterrence of murder, the death penalty should be a huge factor, but according to statistics, this is not the case. Perhaps it is because it is not a swift punishment and is not “seen” by the viewing public. Most people know that it exists, but could not tell you the last person to be put to death by any institution much less how long ago their crime was committed. Deterrence is measured on two separate scales, one being general deterrence and the other, specific deterrence. General deterrence refers to the actual public being deterred away from committing a crime because of the punishment they could face if caught. Specific deterrence is one individual and whether or not that punishment would work for them. Of course, with the death penalty being the deterrence we are debating, it is clear that it would be a specific deterrence because if it is used on a person, they will not be killing anyone else! So, we will speak of general deterrence and ways that the death penalty can deter someone who is thinking rationally during the action of the murder as opposed to someone who is clearly not thinking.

It is easy to come up with many reasons as to why someone would take another life if they were not thinking rationally. There are serial murderers and spree murderers who are not thinking about the crime they are committing and most times have gone to great lengths to plan their crimes. Especially the serial murderers who are usually able to get away with it for some time; otherwise they would not be a serial murderer. Spree killers are more apt to have some impulsivity to their crimes. Intimate homicide would also be a crime of impulse, or passion. It can be a husband or wife that may have found out their significant other is cheating on them and lashes out by killing their spouse. It could also be boyfriend and girlfriends who are in this same scenario. There are other intimate homicides than just those that are committed by a lover. Intimacy of the killer and victim doesn’t always mean that they are lovers. Intimacy is simply referring to the assailant and victim being in some type of close relationship. Over 50% of murders are committed by those that the victim knew, and most times, knew them well.

Revenge would also be another form of murder that one would think is not committed by an individual who is thinking rationally. The Bible says, “Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord.” Even those that are Christians can still be swept up in a crime of revenge. Possibly because the vengeance that the Bible speaks of may not be a swift punishment and we want to see something happened to a person that took one of our loved ones or hurt them in another form. In a book by the famous author John Grisham, “A Time to Kill,” the murder in question was committed by a father whose daughter was raped, beaten and left for dead by two of the town’s thugs. He sought revenge on them and shot them as they were shackled and headed to court for their crime. Although he thought about the murder and planned how to do it, he wasn’t trying to find a way to get away with it. He simply could not see any other form of punishment that would suffice for someone who had done such horrible things to his child. He sought revenge on the steps inside the courthouse by hiding in a storage closet overnight waiting for them to be walked into the courthouse to seal their fate. Anyone who is thinking rationally would have let the courts handle the situation and see what punishment was given to these two individuals instead of taking life into their own hands and risking the consequences of their actions. After he shot both of them, he simply laid down the rifle and surrendered to police that surrounded him. But he had committed murder, 1st degree murder at that with malice aforethought. A rational thinker would have realized long before then that they would face the courts themselves and could quite possibly be put to death for that crime. In the instance of revenge such as this, the only thing the offender is thinking is how to get back at those that hurt him or her and their loved one. Of course, in the book, he was found innocent by a miraculous jury trial due to the swift words of a great attorney because he made the jury see it through their own eyes as if it had happened to one of their loved ones. No one can blame a person for a crime such as this when they think of it being committed against one of their own, especially a young child.

Those that have killed their own children are another classic example of a person not thinking rationally. A rational thinker cannot even begin to come up with a reason why a person would kill their own child! That is why situations like this are considered so “newsworthy” and plastered all over the news. Andrea Yates would be a prime example of this. Although in her case there were signs that she was in desperate need of help, they were all ignored by her family and she ended up taking the life of all five of her children. Not only did she kill them, but she chased them down and drug them back into the bathroom where she drowned them and then laid them out as if they were on display. She suffered from post-partum depression and was listening to voices inside her head and thought that she was saving her children. Clearly this is not the mind of a rational thinker. One cannot see how the death penalty was even a thought to any of these examples and/or considered a deterrent to their crime. As a single parent of three grown children and knowing how absolutely frustrating it can be at times; there is still no instance that could be understood why one would take the life of their child.

On the flip side of rational thinkers, there are those that commit murder and are of sound mind at the time. Although this scenario is extremely difficult to imagine, one would have to consider self defense. This is not attacking someone because you may fear what they are going to do to you, but actual self defense. The lines between these two are very thin. Some people who have been abused for years may use self defense as an option to try and commit a murder of the offender. But is it really self defense if the person is not threatening you at the time? And if someone did act on their fear, are they really thinking rationally about the consequences of their actions? But for our example, we are actually talking about a clear cut self defense case. If someone breaks into your home and is threatening your life, you have the right to defend yourself. If they are coming at you with a knife or a gun, there is a definite threat of violence and the use of force is considered self defense. In this instance you take the life of the attacker and commit murder of another human being. Even though this is a crime that most people wouldn’t think of ever committing, if given the right circumstances, they may surprise themselves. Is this person in this situation thinking rationally? One would have to argue yes, even though they did not have time to contemplate the consequences of their actions. In a situation such as this, one simply does not think if they do this they may get the death penalty, but they are thinking in a rational manner and realize that it’s their life or the life of their attacker.

Another instance where one may be thinking rationally and commit murder is euthanasia. This is one person taking the life of another even though they know the consequences of their actions, or what they may be. There is a huge debate on this topic that may never come to a conclusion. In a person’s defense, they are helping out the one that they kill, either because of the pain that they live in constantly or some other extenuating circumstance. Dr. Kevorkian always comes to mind when this topic arises. He has helped many individuals end their life, and has spent time in jail for doing so. Even though he killed these people, he was never questioned on whether or not having his own life ended played a role in his thinking. Even though euthanasia is a debatable issue in itself, it is still one person taking the life of another and you could argue with premeditation. But the person in this instance would be considered to be thinking rationally at the time because they were trying to end the pain of the one suffering.

Perhaps the death penalty might be a better deterrent if it was a swifter and more consistent punishment. One can say that the death penalty is only used in America when the case has been sensationalized by the press. In other countries where the death penalty is used, it is carried out swiftly and for most part much quieter than it is here. In these countries the death penalty is a definite deterrent to crime of this nature and therefore the rates of murder are not near the level that they are here in America.
