Mujianto killed his victims by rat poison and then took their property. He confessed he killed 15 men by rat poison. But, so far, police just found 4 dead victims and 6 survived victims. Three dead victims were discovered on January ago, and the fourth was found early February. The serial murders were opened after 2 survived victims reported this case to police.

Police captured Mujianto in house of Mr. J in Sonopatik village, Nganjuk. Mr. J is Mujianto’s employer and also his gay partner.

Investigation result, so far, shows that motive of killing is jealousy.  Suspect knew that Mr. J, his gay partner, had turned to other men. So he decided to erase his competitors. Mujianto then opened cellular of Mr. J secretly. He found the victim’s names and their phone numbers. Then he contacted his victims separately and told that Mr. J wanted to meet somewhere else.  Then the suspect met his victims one by one. The suspect offered them drinks or foods filled with rat poison. The suspect then left his victims while they dying.

From investigation, police also found other fact. The suspect confessed that he has planned to kill much more men. The men who are assumed as his competitors. Police will do psychological study for the suspect.

Police is still continuing to investigate the case. The number of victims probable increased. Police is also searching the other victims. That’s why police suggest to everyone that losing their family member to report it.

There was a man named Johnny and he had a sleeping disorder, more specificaly, he started wondering around while being asleep and finally returning to bed, but not remembering what he had done. He had a wife and son. It was just another friday night, everybody were watching TV and relaxing from the week that had now been passed. At about 12 oclock, they all went to sleep after watching a horror movie. But then in around 2 oclock in the morning when everybody were sleeping, Johnny woke up, while actually sleeping. So he went to the kitchen, took the biggest knife he could find and went back to the bedroom. He approached the bed and looked at her wife for a minute and then he stabbed her in the kidneys and two times in the heart, she died instantly. Then he went to his sons room. He grabbed the baseball bat that was lying on the cupboard and smacked his son three times in the face and once in the neck and he also died instantly. Finally he just went back to sleep, besides his dead wife. Strange thing is he also said “Good night” to his wife. Anyway, in the next morning he woke up and saw what he had done. He instantly called police and told them what had happened. The police investigated the evidence and found very many of his fingerprints on the murder weapons. He was convicted for the murder of his family. The only thing that he asked from the judge was that is it possible for him to visit his home one last time and the judge agreed. So him and 2 officers went to his house and the second he opened the door, he ran to the kitchen, took the second biggest knife there and cut his throat.

The opening chapter of this book plays out like the opening scenes of an episode of Bones – feisty, flirty dialogue between the two characters, skulls popping out, and a perp attack with a Taser! 

I love crime thrillers, the grisly the better and as one of the baddies turns out to be reminiscent of the freak in Creep, complete with dark train tunnels and the odd rat, this book satisfied my appetite and then some. Stephanie Chalice (Cha-lee-see) is a formidable girl in blue, complete with hot body, penchant for gym sessions and an uncanny sixth sense which never lets her down. Team that with FBI Agent Ambler and her sexy partner, Lido and you have yourself a fantastic book. Realistic, gripping, gritty, this meaty story is easily one of the best books I have read for a while. My only regret is not reading the books in order. Not that this detracts from the story in any way, but I shall be checking out the other works in the series as soon as I can. Kelter is a master, pure and simple. Stephanie is right up there with James Patterson’s character, Lindsey Boxer, and we all know how strong a female she is…

MIDLAND–Police have identified 20-year-old Stephanie Hoddinott as the victim of Midland’s first murder since 2005.

Hoddinott, a Midland Secondary School graduate, died Jan. 10 after being shot in the head.

Shortly after Hoddinott’s body was found, police received a report of a gunshot. Jacob Ferrier, 20, was found inside a vehicle with injuries from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

A handgun was found inside the vehicle.

Ferrier was transported to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, where he remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

The Midland Police Service has obtained a warrant for Ferrier’s arrest on a charge of first-degree murder.

The last murder in Midland occurred in November 2005, when Katlin Cousineau was beaten and tortured to death by Matthew Sitte and Paul Bradey, both of whom are currently in prison for the crime.

The investigation into the Hoddinott case is continuing by Midland police and the OPP’s criminal investigation branch.

The Missouri teenager who had described the slaying of a young neighbor girl as an “ahmazing” thrill made an emotional apology Wednesday to the girl’s family and was sentenced to a potential lifetime in prison.

Just moments before her sentence was imposed, 18-year-old Alyssa Bustamante rose from her chair — with shackles linking her ankles and holding her hands to her waist — and turned slightly to face the family of 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten, whom she confessed to killing in October 2009.

“I really am extremely, very sorry for everything. I know words,” she said, pausing to take a long deep breath and struggling to compose herself, “can never be enough, and they can never adequately describe how horribly I feel for all of this.”

She later added: “If I could give my life to get her back I would. I’m sorry.”

Elizabeth’s mother, Patty Preiss, who on the first day of Bustamante’s sentencing hearing called her an “evil monster” and declared “I hate her,” sat silently, staring forward as Bustamante’s finished her apology.

Cole County Circuit Judge Pat Joyce then sentenced Bustamante to the maximum possible sentence for second-degree murder — life in prison with the possibility of parole. She ordered the teenager to serve a consecutive 30-year term for armed criminal action, a charge resulting from her use of a knife to slit the throat and stab Elizabeth after she had strangled her into unconsciousness.

Elizabeth’s family declined to comment about the sentencing, as did Bustamante’s family.

There were no immediate indications that Bustamante planned to appeal the sentence.

Bustamante originally had been charged with first-degree murder but pleaded guilty last month to the lesser charges to avoid a trial and the possibility of spending her life in an adult prison with no chance of release.

Bustamante was 15 years old at the time of Elizabeth’s murder in the small town of St. Martins, just west of Jefferson City. Evidence presented during her hearing revealed that Bustamante had dug a shallow grave in the woods several days in advance, then used her younger sister to lure Elizabeth out of her home with an invitation to play. Bustamante, who had hidden a knife in a backpack, said she had a surprise for Elizabeth in the forest. The surprise turned out to be her demise.

During her two-day sentencing hearing, prosecutors referred repeatedly to an entry Bustamante wrote in her journal on Oct. 21, 2009 — the night of Elizabeth’s death — in which she admitted to having just killed someone.

“I strangled them and slit their throat and stabbed them now they’re dead,” Bustamante wrote in her diary, which was read in court by a handwriting expert. “I don’t know how to feel atm. It was ahmazing. As soon as you get over the ‘ohmygawd I can’t do this’ feeling, it’s pretty enjoyable. I’m kinda nervous and shaky though right now. Kay, I gotta go to church now…lol.”

Bustamante then left for a youth dance at a Mormon church her family attended while hundreds of volunteers began a two-day hunt for the dead girl. Although she initially lied to authorities about Elizabeth’s whereabouts, Bustamante eventually confessed to police and led them to Elizabeth’s leaf-covered shallow grave.

Defenses attorneys had argued for leniency after presenting evidence from family members and mental health experts about Bustamante’s troubled childhood. Bustamante was born to young teenage, drug-abusing parents; her father was imprisoned and her mother had abandoned her, leaving her in the legal custody of her grandmother.

After a suicide attempt on Labor Day 2007 as she was starting eighth grade, Bustamante was prescribed the antidepressant Prozac. Her dosage had been increased just two weeks before Elizabeth’s death. A defense psychiatrist testified that the medication could have made Bustamante moodier and more violent and contributed to the murder — a theory rejected by a different psychiatrist testifying for prosecutors.

Charlie Moreland, one of Bustamante’s attorneys, described the sentence imposed Wednesday as “a harsh punishment.”

“This was a child who had been spiraling out of control, but has treatable conditions,” Moreland said.

Under Missouri guidelines, Bustamante would have to serve 35 years and 5 months in prison before she is eligible for parole, said Department of Corrections spokesman Chris Cline. It’s also possible that the more than two years Bustamante spent in jail while awaiting her sentencing could be counted toward that time.

They say a woman has the right to choose, but didn’t she use that right when she became pregnant? Did she not know, especially in this time, and with our knowledge, that spreading her legs and doing whoopy would get her pregnant in the long run? With this foreknowledge, and roll of the dice, willingly, shouldn’t she have to keep and raise the child?

Do we not prevent people from hurting themselves in many ways, such as not allowing them to be cannibals, because the meat isn’t cooked and is bad for you, as well as it is against social mores, and possibly involves killing someone (there probably aren’t too many pieces of people just lying around to eat on)?

Or surgery, which is banned from the normal person performing it on themselves, because of the risk of not enough knowledge for the procedure, as well as safety protocols which need to be adhered to, along with the need for a medical license.

We stop people from doing things all the time which are deleterious to their health and well-being, as well as if it involves the health and well-being of another. So, why is abortion allowed when there is another person or persons involved?

A woman can choose to keep her child, and married or not, force the man to support the child; however, if she chooses to kill the baby, the man is given no say, and has no rights. Hmmm! No rights to keep or give up  the child, and possibly no rights to support/not support the child – talk about a double standard!

We are pushing the envelope every day as to when life begins, with some believing it begins with the sperm and ova, and others only after the child is delivered, but science – medical science – is proving that life exists in the child at earlier and earlier terms, with some saying now that life exists as early as six weeks, and even at conception, but we treat the baby as a bag of garbage.

Should we keep it, as opposed to the child, or should we throw it in the trash, like so much detritus?

We deliberately dumb down the speech used in the procedure and on the baby, by calling it an abortion instead of killing, and calling the baby a fetus, which means baby, but most people don’t realize that! Why do we tiptoe around this – because we know it is wrong, and we know it is murder?

In forty years, we have now killed enough children, to make up one-fifth of today’s population, while pretending that we haven’t done a thing wrong!

So, does a woman have the right to kill her child, and where will this abortion process end? Perhaps, one day, we will be so deluded, that families will be allowed to do late-term abortions themselves, which will involve killing their child at home at two years old, because mom thought her little princess wasn’t smart enough, or didn’t like her brown eyes. No longer murder, but just a late-term abortion!

We are, or were, a civilized country, and yet, I see more and more barbaric things happening the longer I live. Even in war, we give respect and quarter, and yet, here with these precious infants, we act like it is the right of a woman to murder just for the sake of convenience!

In this country, and others, I would rather be a soldier in the throes of full battle, than an infant in the womb of its mother. I would have a better chance of survival!

A high concept Batman adventure that falls a little short of the genius to which it aspires. The story deals with a handful of minor league Batman villains, Killer Moth, Catman (who has a pet panther), Colander Man, and a new villain, Chancer, who is blessed with an unusual degree of extreme good luck.

Resentful of being regarded as of less significance than the leading villains of Gotham City like the Joker, penguin and Catwoman, The Misfits decide to commit a major league crime, by kidnapping Commissioner Gordon, Mayor Armand Krol, and millionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne.

The abductions go perfectly, rendering Batman’s intervention impossible as Wayne himself is an abductee. However, Robin, Batman’s sidekick, is soon on the trail, and eager to rescue everyone. It’s a good job too, because, while the other crooks want a ransom without taking any lives, Killer Moth tries to drown the kidnap victims by dropping them into the sea in a freight container.  .

A few threads are built up and neglected. Killer Moth had once discovered who Batman really was, only to conveniently suffer from amnesia inducing brain surgery that blocked the memory of his discovery. Bruce Wayne fears the sociopath remembering him again, but nothing comes of these fears in the story.

Liberated from his watery trap, Wayne is free to become Batman and pursue the villains, at which point Robin simply melts out of the story as if never involved.

An interesting touch is the involvement of the mysterious hero / villain, Nimrod, with an invisibility suit. He is a thief who was framed for a crime he never committed by The Chancer, and goes in pursuit of the lucky crook, giving aid first to Robin and then to Batman.

A thrilling story, if a little contrived, with characters just turning up to provide a useful means to an end and then going away, as with Robin’s dog, Ace, who is only used to incapacitate Catman’s Panther, but it’s still hugely enjoyable.
