Disappearance of two men, who were later found dead after answering a job add through Craigslist, leads FBI to think that they might find other victims.

According to GMA this morning, the FBI has fears that they might find more bodies buried in shallow graves in Ohio. This comes after several bodies were found. The bodies were of two men who supposedly answered want adds for jobs that were advertised on the internet through Craigslist.

Job advertised

At least one help wanted add was placed stating that a caretaker was needed for a 680 acre farm in Noble County, through Craigslist.

David Pauley, deceased victim

From sources, David Pauley went to meet with the prospective employer. He was found deceased in a shallow grave on November 15. David Pauley was from Norfolk, VA.

Timothy Kerns, deceased victim

Another man, Timothy Kerns was found deceased and also in a shallow grave this past Friday. It was reported that Timothy Kerns had gun shot wounds to the head and had been missing after replying to the same or similar job add.

It is thought that the intentions of the individual(s) that placed the job add was to lure unsuspecting people to the site, rob and then kill them.

Noble County deputies started investigating after Scott Davis, another person who answered the job add, was lured to a location by the individual(s) who would have been his future employer. He was shot in the arm, but successfully escaped.

Another man has disappeared

According to reports, another man has disappeared after supposedly replying to the job add on Craigslist, bringing the FBI to the conclusion that this could be a serial killer(s).

Heather Tuttle

Heather Tuttle said that she answered the job add, but did not receive a response back. Further, she said that she was very thankful for that. Tuttle could have been the next victim.

Two suspects behind bars

Richard Beasley, a 52-year-old man and a 16-year-old juvenile are being held. They have not been charged with these murders, yet.

When answering a job add on Craigslist, there is no way to identify who the employer is unless it is stated. Even then, there is no assurance that it is a safe and or legitimate job add. Anyone can place a job add on Craigslist. Many are legitimate. But, along with those, there are hoax job adds that are also placed.

It is extremely terrifying and heartbreaking to think that there could be more victims from these horrific murders. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of the victims and their families.

A description of the hauntings at the Borley Rectory.

Borley Rectory Hauntings

——————————–

Built in 1863 for a Reverend Henry Bull, the site stood

where an ancient monestery once was. During the early

1900’s it was believed to be the most haunted house in

the world.
As the story goes, a nun fell in love with a monk, and

the two tried to run away together and elope.

Unfortunately they were captured soon after and the

monk was executed and the nun was also executed by

being bricked up in the cellars of the monastic

buildings.
For many years, people reported seeing the ghost of a

nun in various parts of the property. Other weird things

have occured here as well, like windows breaking for no

reason, doors locking by themselves, and personal

items would mysteriously disappear. People have also

been pushed off of chairs and beds while staying in the

house, and some even reported being slapped by the

ghost.
In 1935 a man named Harry Price leased the property in

order to uncover what is causing the paranormal

activity here. With the help of over 40 people, Mr. Price

kept track of everything that occured in the house and

on the property.
During a seance held here by Mr. Price, an alleged spirit

named Marie Lairre came through and told the group

that she had been a nun in France but had left her

convent to marry a man named Henry Waldegrave, who

was the son of a wealthy family whose home had

previously stood on the site where Borley Rectory was.

She then told them that her husband had murdered her

and then put her dead body in the cellar. Price believed

that she fit the profile of the ghost that haunted Borley

Rectory and he continued his investigation.
During another seance, a different spirit gave a

fascinating prediction that the nun’s body would be

found in the ruins. The spirit said the house would burn

down that night, and after the fire was put out, the

location of the bones would finally be revealed. It wasn’t

until eleven months later that a fire was started

accidently by the then new owner, Captain WH Gregson.

As he was unpacking library books, a oil lamp fell over

and started a fire. The fire spread fast throughout the

manor and the rectory was in shambles afterwards.

Since previously unattainable areas were now exposed,

Price decided to excavate the cellar where he indeed

found a few small bones, which seemed to be those of a

young woman. Regardless of who the woman was, she

was given a proper religious burial and hopefully her

spirit was finally laid to rest.
In 1944 the Borley Rectory was torn down and

demolished completely.

This article looks at the overall case of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance, why it had gone quiet and why this case has come to life again in recent days.

It has been over four years since the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal. Since Thursday 3rd May 2007, nobody has since seen her (except for her probable kidnappers and odd report of girl that might be her caught on CCTV). At the time of her disappearance, she was sleeping in her holiday bedroom with her siblings. At the time of her disappearance, her parents, Kate & Gerry, were not at home but left the children sleeping by themselves, whilst they were both across the road at a Spanish bar.

Apparently Madeleine was taken during this period of time, though both Kate & Gerry said that they didn’t leave Madeleine and her siblings along for long as they regularly checked up on their sleeping children. On discovering that Madeleine was gone, her parents quickly called the Portuguese police. Since then, due to various flaws in the action times of the Portuguese police during the first hours of her being gone, the window of opportunity in catching Madeleine (if she were kidnapped) closed.

The reason why I put in brackets ‘if she were kidnapped’ is because a few months after her disappearance, rumors started to surface stating that she was killed by her parents and the body was disposed of. Such theories include the possibility that her parents (both being doctors) accidentally overdosed her with sleeping medicine so they could get off to the bar across the street to join their friends. Unfortunately in the process, the overdose was enough to kill her and on realizing this, quickly disposed the body and called the Portuguese police in the process to make it look like she has being kidnapped.

For last few years, media sensation seems to be quieting as the case doesn’t seem to be going any further and as such, there is no longer a story. Yet in recent days, this case seems to have reappeared in the media. Apparently the McCann’s sent a personal plea to David Cameron asking him to reopen the case into Madeleine disappearance, to which he has agreed. Since then, Scotland Yard has sent a request to Portuguese police asking them to show all their files on this case.

Whether Scotland Yard will find some evidence in those files which would lead to where she could be or what happened to her, only time will tell. Hopefully this case will soon be solved and closed.

The village of Khatyn was in Belarus and on the 22nd of March 1943 the villages population was slaughtered by a battalion of the German army. The army unit had been formed in the July of the previous year in Kiev. It comprised mostly of collaborators from the Ukraine, prisoners of war as well as some deserters, and members of a special SS battalion.

A group of partisans had attacked a motor convoy of the Nazi’s on the morning of the 22nd March 1943 about 6km from Khatyn. The attack resulted in the deaths of four military police from the same battalion that would later carry out the massacre. The commanding officer of the battalion was one of those killed, he was Hans Woellke, the gold medalist in the shot putt at the 1936 Olympic Games.

A few hours later the German unit surrounded the village and forced all the inhabitants into a single building. It was set alight, any one attempting to escape the flames was shot by machine gun fire. 149 people died in the massacre, 75 of them were children. After that the village was looted and this too was burnt to the ground.

Viktor Zhelobkovich was a seven year old boy that survived the fire by sheltering from the flames beneath his mother, her sacrifice saved him from death. Another survivor Anton Baranovsky, was 12 at the time and had been shot and left for dead. The third survivor and only adult was a 56 year old man who suffered burns and escaped after the German unit had left.

During the Second World War, 5,295 settlements in Belorussia were attacked and destroyed by German army units. Many of these unarmed inhabitants were killed. Many villages were attacked multiple numbers of times and after being rebuilt would be attacked and burnt down once again. During the three years of German occupation in Belarus an estimated 2,230,000, or a quarter of the country’s population were murdered.

After the war one platoon commander Vasyl Meleshko, a Ukrainian was tried by a Soviet court and in 1975 he was executed. Another Ukrainian Grigory Vassiura was put on trial in Minsk and in 1986 was also given the death penalty. The main instigator of the massacre was not named or his trial details made public knowledge because the leaders of the Soviet republics feared for the unity between Belarus and the Ukraine if it was released.

The massacre site became a national war memorial of Belorussia and in 1969 it was converted into parkland. One feature is three birch trees and an eternal flame to replace the fourth tree as a reminder to the one in four of the population who died during the war.

The only adult to survive the massacre is remembered in a statue carrying his dead son and a wall complete with niches to commemorate all those that died in the concentration camps. Every 30 seconds a bell rings out across the park to mark the rate at which lives were lost of Belarusian’s during the course of that war.

Jean Calas was a merchant, aged into his sixties and living in Toulouse, France. His fame came from his being the victim of a trial biased against him because he was a Protestant in Catholic France.

He became a symbol in France for those suffering from Christian religious intolerance, many of those victimized by this system were executed after persecution their only crime being of a different Christian religion.

France at that time was a mostly catholic country. Jean Calas and his wife were both protestants. Catholicism was the state religion and although the years of harsh oppression towards protestants that had been initiated during the reign of King Louis XIV had mostly been receded, Protestants were still at best only tolerated. One of the Calas’s sons Louis had converted to Catholicism in 1756.

On the night of 13-14 of October 1761, another of the Calas sons, Marc-Antoine was found dead. He was discovered on the ground floor of the families home. Rumours spread that Jean Calas had murdered his own son because he had wished to convert to Catholicism. The parents of the dead man were interrogated, they at first claimed that Marc- Antoine had been the victim of a murderer. They later changed the story to one that they had discovered their sons dead body, he had hung himself. At that time in France, suicide was considered such a heinous crime and many previous victims of suicide had had their bodies defiled. The two Calas parents had arranged the body to appear like he had been murdered.

On the 9th of March 1762, the Parlement or appellate court of Toulouse issued the sentence of death on the wheel to Jean Calas. The next day at the age of 64, he died while being tortured on the wheel, throughout the ordeal he continued to claim his innocence.

Voltaire, the prolific French writer and campaigner was contacted about the case after suspicions had been raised over the guilty verdict. Voltaire began a campaign to have the sentence overturned. He eventually succeeded and on the 9th of March 1765, three years to the day after he was sentenced, Jean Calas was posthumously declared innocent and not guilty of the charges brought against him.

Psychic, Kathy Adams, was reported missing from her Fort Collins home in Colorado on October the 12th after family members were unable to reach her by phone. A welfare search was conducted at her home by authorities and it was determined that something horrible had taken place within the domicile. A missing persons report was immediately filed and the search began. Almost two weeks later her badly decomposed body was found in a ravine off US 36 in Colorado. The Larimer County Coroners Office has conducted an autopsy and the cause of death has been ruled a homicide due to severe, blunt force trauma. Authorities are now conducting a homicide investigation and looking for her common law husband, John Marks Jr., a man with a checkered past.

One day into the investigation, both Kathy Adams and John Marks Jr. Buick La Sabre was found at a motel off of Interstate 25 in Weld County. Investigators believe this to be a significant clue in apprehending John Marks Jr. Reports by others that know the couple say their relationship was volatile and Kathy Adams had planned on leaving John Marks Jr. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is feverishly looking into the whereabouts of John Marks Jr., calling him a special person of interest and believe he is deliberately eluding investigators and questioning into the homicide. John marks Jr. does have a criminal past. Police investigators are being very tight-lipped at this time.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange talks about why the Iraq war documents were released to the public. He says it is all about the truth. Quoting “The first casualty of war is the truth”. Further saying that the “attack on the truth starts well before a war begins and continues well after it ends”.

For more information about the controversy over these leaked documents follow the link here:

He then goes to explain the death numbers and civilian casualties that contradict the previous numbers. Saying that its one or two deaths that make a huge difference.

Assange then speaks about how the people who uncover these truths take huge risks, hoping that their efforts aren’t in vain, He wants to achieve the “maximum political impact possible”.

Wikileaks shows Iraqi abuse and death.

The website wikileaks has released many classified documents about the war in iraq. Calling it the largest military classified leak ever, it showed the death numbers of Iraqi’s in the past few years. It seems that many cases of civilian killings and other abuses of Iraqi’s by our military were known by the US gov’t who failed to take action.

As stated by wikileaks “The reports detail 109,032 deaths in Iraq, comprised of 66,081 ‘civilians’; 23,984 ‘enemy’ (those labeled as insurgents); 15,196 ‘host nation’ (Iraqi government forces) and 3,771 ‘friendly’ (coalition forces). The majority of the deaths (66,000, over 60%) of these are civilian deaths. That is 31 civilians dying every day during the six year period. ” This is from 2004 to 2009.

The numbers reported by the Pentagon previously showed significantly less deaths but no one is sure if the leaked documents counted correctly, one death may have been called in by different people and counted more than once.

As for the details of prisoner abuse, one case that stands out is when an iraqi policeman shot a suspect in the leg, the suspect was then whipped with a rod and hose across his back, his ribs were cracked and he suffered other serious injuries.

These documents are very shocking to say the least and some items outlined may be considered war crimes. This situation seems to be a serious cause of concern, many have condemned the acts outlined by the leaked documents and are wondering if US broke international laws.
